Original experience here in 2020 was great. This year not so much. First Rx was wrong (top half should have had no prescription). Had to make an appointment to get it reviewed, came back and did that, waited another couple weeks to get my glasses, and now I can see out of the top portion but the bottom is wrong (think the pupillary distance is incorrect), AND one lens is loose. Now Ill have to go back yet again. Will not be using target optical again.

I have have been going to this Target Optical for eye exams. I was having trouble with my target account online so I called this location for help reordering contacts. The phone was picked up on the first ring and I spoke to the sweetest lady named Tera. So easy and wonderful customer service!

Dr. Wang has and always will be one of the best and most professional people that you can go to to get your eyes checked out.Also was great at recommending other places if the frames you need arent immediately available at their current location.Would recommend to anyone and will def be going to for future checkups.

I had an unfortunate experience with an eye exam claim at this doctor/location. I had just an eye exam and was charged a $10 copay at the end when it was supposed to be $0. I called back a few days later and they acknowledged the error and refunded me the $10. Then, 45 days later when my explanation of benefits was received, I saw they filed two claims (one for eye exam and another for a fitting). I called them back to confirm what they filed and they said just an eye exam but obviously I had my EOB in hand to see they filed more than that. Very disappointed at the lack of integrity here.

Dr. Wang really took her time to make sure my prescription was accurate as possible. She listened to my concerns and was really helpful. Front desk people were pretty cool too. Overall, great people, affordable price (especially out of pocket)

EDIT - They called me and refunded my visit and are not billing my insurance so I can use my benefit elsewhere so I am adding a star. I do truly appreciate that but it was still a really frustrating experience and a waste of my time. They told me the issue is between them, their third party billing company, and Spectara and they basically are not an in-network provider. This was actually more frustrating as they are listed as in in-network provider on Spectaras website.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My actual exam was okay, although my prescription is very different from one I got six months ago, so I suspect it might be wrong.That being said, I had an issue with billing. I do understand sometimes there can be confusion if a person encounters a scenario they are not familiar with, but the person processing the transaction refused to consider the possibility I knew what I was talking about, which is frustrating in and of itself. This was a difference in hundreds of dollars of out of pocket cost. I had to spend an hour on the phone with my insurance company to get them to send me the form the doctor was supposed to fill out, then send it to the doctor and call them back to ask them to fill out the form.Honestly, it was also kind of frustrating when they did finally fill out the form, they just sent it back with no comment at all. In my experience, generally when you are in a customer service role you apologize when youre wrong.This might seem like a little thing, but as I told them, for the past five years optometrists have billed my insurance correctly automatically with no issue, so my advice would just be to go to a different optometrist that would get it right the first time, or at least listen and consider that you might be right.

Awesome people and they’re really good at what they do. Brought my damaged eyeglasses here and they fixed this for free even though it took them almost half an hour. Will definitely buy my next glasses from here as they had really good deals on the frames too.

Dr. Wang has been ny doctor here for 6 years. She always listens and is very helpful! After my exam Faith helped me pick out new frames & went over pricing & all the details.The only thing I was surprised at was when I asked tbem if they have a list of the insurances they accept on their website. They do not...but they told me when i go over my insurance plan I can call them to see if that plan is covered or not. Should be on the website!!!

Not sure if there has been turnover here or what, but we had very good experience here last week as a new patient. They were able to get my son in the next day when I called (after his old glasses broke because teenager), staff and doctor were gracious, helpful, and efficient, and glasses were ready in half the time they estimated.

Denise, Noah, and Marisol are awesome and super helpful. A mistake was made, and Denise handled it with professionalism and grace. Noah and Marisol helped me pick out a great pair of glasses, and despite the negative interaction I had with the manager, the amazing staff made everything okay.Target has a great selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses, and their staff members are warm and helpful.

Last week, the guy at front desk kept saying, Your glasses will be ready at most 10 business days. I waited for 13 business days as considering thanksgiving weekend. No phone call. I ended up calling him, but he ignored my 3 phone calls this afternoon to request him to track my glasses. Ignoring customers call is not good customer service. When I showed up after work, my glasses were literally sitting behind the desk. His excuses were he didnt have time to check it in and not enough staff over the weekend. No apologies at all. I have never experienced such customer service in my life. Sorry to good optometrists who helped me difficult time of past 3 years. Our family is not coming back to Target optical.

The lady who works here, I believe her name is Faith, is extremely overworked and this location is very understaffed. She always seems to be the only one besides the eye doctor, but yet she has always gone above and beyond to get me what I need. I feel bad that she is not supported better. The optometrist I saw was also very kind and helpful.

The worst!!! My husband and I came here because our insurance changed. My contacts were horrible from day 1. I returned them and had them order the contacts I had worn before. That was fine. Whatever. What makes me really mad is they made my husband a pair of glasses that are totally blurry. He returned them and they had them redone. Blurry again. Hes worn glasses for 20 years. Target people keep trying to sell him an anti-glare coating. They say thats why theyre blurry. He needs the anti glare. Give me a break. Theyre blurry. Never had any anti glare coating put on any of our other glasses EVER and they werent blurry. Fix the problem!!! Hes now used his only insurance benefit for the year and is stuck with glasses he cant wear.

I just moved to Bellevue, WA from Gainesville, FL and right before I moved I had my annual eye exam and found a pair of glasses I really wanted at the Target there. I was worried they wouldnt arrive on time so I waited until the move was complete to order. I went into the Target Optical here and was instantly greeted by the two associates. Super friendly, was already really happy with my experience (this is important to me). I had a picture of the barcode and the frame so I could find the same pair easier. I did my thing looking even though I was offered help because Im stubborn and wanted to do it on my own. Well 10 minutes of wandering later, I couldnt find the pair so I asked one of the women for assistance, who I later found out was Denise. She couldnt find them either at the store or in the back stock, so she called the store in Florida (who didnt answer) to get them for me. After a few times of calling with no answer she checked and found them in the stockroom - YAY for me! She was able to complete the order efficiently and seriously went above and beyond to make me happy. She was knowledgeable about the lenses I needed and the entire order process.Denise - you are AWESOME!! Thank you so much for the warm welcome to Washington and for being so friendly! Shes able to connect with people and the conversation really felt genuine. It was a pleasure to talk to you and I will definitely come back here for future needs!!

This a really cool Target. It is two floors, so they have an escalator just for carts. Very fun to try. Also, they have a great selection and friendly and fast employees

DONT DO IT! They are a pathetic excuse for optical. Next time I will go to Costco! I will never set foot in a Target again to purchase anything because of the complete disaster with getting favorite frames filled with a new prescription. And their so-called solution was for me to purchase glasses from them, as if I would….Now I understand why this company is going DOWNHILL FAST!

Robert is FANTASTIC! Amazingly helpful, patient, insightful - really pays attention and gives you the time of day. He understands that selecting glasses is a personal, sometimes arduous, processFaith, or whatever her name, is nails-on-a-chalkboard INFURIATING! Shed obviously rather new be doing ANYTHING wise than help a customer; is rude, condescending, flippant, and COMPLETELY indifferent. When asked for help or to do something, I had to repeat myself multiple times and stood there waiting while she took her own sweet time. COMPLETELY disrespectful.So, if Robert is working: 5 stars.If she is working: 0 stars
