I am THRILLED to have had Colby as my bridal stylist! He is talented, stylish, friendly, and so knowledgeable! Colby made finding my wedding dress so fun. He was receptive to my style and preferences, and he understood exactly what I was going for. He had my pre-selected dresses ready before my appointment, and encouraged me to browse around with my friends- I never felt rushed!Colby also helped style multiple dresses with shoes, belts, and veils, and I ended up liking his picks more than my own! Throughout the appointment he clipped the sample dresses on perfectly, gave insightful feedback (like considering range of motion and my personal style), and had delivery dates and prices ready for each piece!Thank you Colby; we had a blast and cant recommend you enough!

BHLDN IS the WORST.. Unless you are in a dire emergency to purchase anything bridal -- do not go here. The BHLDN online ordering process is easy, quick .. no problems ordering or taking my money. HOWEVER, if you need to exchange in store-- YOU CANT.. you can only return and repurchase. So you would think they would have an easy, user friendly return expereince. THEY DO NOT. They have an INCONSISTENT policy and process with respect to returns. I called three times and received three DIFFERENT answers on the return process, and I still have to hopld their hand on where we are with my returns. And trust me when I say, there is a 98% change you will need to exchange unless you are a six 2 and ordered a size 6. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.. BHLDN needs to get their online and in store experience fixed.

Really enjoyed the selection and the service. They were friendly, and helpful. I may not have found the dresses for my bridesmaids there, but they did help us pinpoint the styles that worked best, and come up with some great ideas for alterations, plus they sent me a list of local tailors so I have a little less legwork to do on my own.

I don’t know where to begin, I had the best day here trying on wedding dresses with Bailey. SHE WAS AMAZING!! I was kind of worried and I didn’t know what to expect because this was my first dress fitting and it was during a pandemic, so I was a bit all over the place. Worked with Sophie, had one dress in mind and she had that dress ready when I got there plus other options based on that one dress and our venue, she’d scoped it out before we arrived! So she knew what would be practical for the date and place ahead of time and look great with the scenery. She helped me pull some other dresses too and we got to work. She was able to make more recommendations as we went, and helped me see where certain alterations would make the dresses more comfortable and perfect for my day. She did such a great job I actually had to choose between dresses! Absolutely loved the relaxed atmosphere and they have solid COVID policies in place to keep everyone safe. Will be referring people here and to Sophie!

I had the absolute best experience at BHLDN with my stylist, Bailey. She was so invested in finding me the perfect dress, and gave wonderful advice. I did not have an appointment but was only in Seattle for one more day, and they managed to fit me in so quickly. My appointment was so enjoyable, and even amidst the pandemic they did such a great job making me feel safe and clean. Masks are required the entire appointment, even in the dressing room which was nice. I purchased my dream dress this day and I am so thankful for Baileys advice and my experience. I would definitely recommend trying on some dresses here! They had a wide array of styles and prices, so I believe there is something for everyone.

Clean and tastefully decorated store. Booked an appointment online to try bridal gowns.Before trying dresses on she went over my personal preferences and if Ive gone gown shopping previously. We then went around the bridal gown area to choose which I would want to try on. Once that was done she brought me to the dressing room where they had a white slip for me to wear while I waited for her to gather the dresses.The store has a size 4 and 14 for guests to try on the bridal dresses and theyll use clips to hold the dress together.Personally, the style of dresses didnt impress me and the amount of dresses available to try in store seemed small to me.The women there do a great job in creating a memorable bridal experience for those looking for a wedding gown, very much appreciate the attention they provided to each of us looking for that perfect wedding dress.

I returned to BHLDN for a second time (yes, made the drive down from Vancouver BC) because I was in need of finding a dress quickly (less than 3 months til my wedding). I know that if the dress is in stock, which most of their dresses are, they can ship it to you and it should reach you in 7-10 days. You can also express ship it to reach you within a couple business days. My first experience at BHLDN (about 6 months prior) I didn’t find anything I loved and my experience was just ok. This time, I had an AMAZING experience! My stylist Ella was so sweet and knew exactly when to give advice and when to step back and let my friend and I talk. I was comfortable with her from the beginning of the appointment and our small talk in the change room while she clipped me into the dresses was genuine and fun. I definitely recommend checking out BHLDN if you’re looking for a wedding gown, especially if you’re on a time crunch. They were also super helpful when I decided to order the dress (over the phone) and if you order over the phone/in store instead of ordering online you get free shipping. I had a wonderful experience at the Seattle location. They were helpful and informative. I only wish they had more of the dresses I saw online available to try on. I found many other dresses I loved though. Yuna was so kind and I felt very special at my appointment. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable dress.

I had my first (and last) wedding dress appointment yesterday at BHLDN and had an absolutely wonderful experience! Sarah was so helpful and fun! She is a great wedding dress consultant and truly helped make this experience. Their dresses are gorgeous and I’m happy to say that I found mine here!

The service at BHLDN was excellent. During an unprecedented snowstorm, one of the dress shops where I had an appointment scheduled cancelled on me without warning. When BHLDN called to confirm, the scheduler was able to move up my appointment by one hour. As for the stylist, Kaitlyn was a great help in choosing my gown. Her focus on how I felt in the dress and how I could express my personal style made for a greatly positive shopping experience.

I order a few sizes and colors. The website states it take 2-3 weeks for a return to be processed. Im at 4 weeks now and still have not received a refund. When I reached out to customer service they stated, The return has not yet been processed for this order. Once the return has been processed, you will be notified via email. So I responded and asked for a status update. BHLDN responded with We have no estimated dates of when the return will actually be fully processed. However, we are working diligently to get the returns processed for you. You will be notified via email once the refunds have been issued. I will indicate on your account the urgency of the returns to be processed. We appreciate your patience in this matter. Umm, so you have the dresses, but youre not sure when youre going to refund me!?!?! Extremely poor customer service.

I had a GREAT experience from start to finish at BHLDN Seattle! The dresses are gorgeous, unique and very well priced. The bridal suite is also very elegant yet comfortable. My stylist (and wedding suite manager) Sarah Brown took incredible care of me and was able to help me in a pinch! I would HIGHLY recommend BHLDN for any bridal or bridesmaids needs.

I did not have a good experience at BHLDN. I was not thrilled with the customer service because I felt rushed at the end of my appointment and pretty much pushed to the side. Regardless, I ended up ordering the wedding dress I wanted in the store and was assured it was an easy and full proof process. After waiting 2 months for my dress (they said it was on back order) IT NEVER CAME! I called to follow up a week after the back order date, and was told it would ship in 24-48 hours. It didnt. Called back again, was told the dress was damaged and they would not sell it to me, but that I could pick something else for 30% off. I went online to look over the other dresses to see if that was something I would be interested in... and online it showed that my first choice dress was in stock. Called back the customer service line, got a different representative, and they said it was in stock and that they would overnight ship it to me. So I gave them my credit card again and placed the order again. And guess what, surprise, it never came. I panicked and went and found another dress at a local Seattle shop, beautiful and off the sale rack, that I was able to take home that day. Called BHLDN to cancel the order, since it hadnt even shipped yet, so no problem there. Blame the call center, blame the warehouse, blame whoever--the whole experience was bad and their communication in store and on the phone is not what you need when wedding dress shopping.

I walked into BHLDN today 29 days before my wedding without an appointment (you are supposed to have an appointment to try on wedding dresses). Haley, the store manager, was incredible! She allowed me to try on anything I want and helped me find dresses within my price range. At 61 I am a hard fit, but I found my perfect dress on sale for $200!! We were so well taken care of, and because I waited until the last minute I did not anticipate having a good experience. I would reccomend BHLDN to anyone!

The BHLDN experience was amazing!!! I found a beautiful gown and it was reasonably priced. The stylist was also super helpful! The bridal salon is adorable and comfortable as well. I would totally recommend this place to a friend or family member!

I went in with a general idea of what I loved and she helped to pull some gowns in addition to the styles I had requested online, just to help get a better idea of the look I really wanted.I found my wedding dress in less than an hour and it was rush-delivered within a few days. It was easy and stress-free.

I had a fantastic experience at BHLDN. I had already tried on several dresses at a different location so I came in to try on just 2 dresses. Four of my friends/family came along. Andy was my stylist, and she was personable, knowledgeable, and definitely gave me my space to make my decision. Since it was a quick decision for me, Andy allowed my 2 bridesmaids to try on dresses. She advised me on bridesmaid style decisions and even gave me lots of fabric swatches to use. She was so helpful, beyond what was asked of her!

This was my second stop on my quest to find my wedding dress. After finding a much more expensive dress elsewhere, I didnt think it would be topped. Maria listened to what I wanted and took my vision to another level. I found the most beautiful dress at a very reasonable price. I left feeling so loved and unbelievable excited to walk down the aisle.

BHLDN is quickly becoming the only bridal store that offers a boutique feel at an affordable price. With a $1,000 budget I was sure Id have to resort to buying my dress at Davids Bridal rather than a boutique-y store, but BHLDN saved me. I found my perfect dress in less than 20 minutes for $800. While a bit spendy when it comes to bridesmaids dresses, you cant go wrong with BHLDN for the bride.

Love this BHLDN! I could not recommend it more highly. My experience here was much more personal, and the sales person so experienced/attentive/and non-pushy compared to other bridal shops. I dont live in Seattle so I went alone to my appointment on my way through town. The associate made it feel like I had a good friend by my side, ready to help and give advice. And when I chose my dress they had a little box of champagne for me! So fun!

When I found out that I only had 7 weeks to plan my wedding I panicked about the dress. I was so worried I was not going to have enough time to find that magic dress, the kind that makes you cry when you put it on and just KNOW its the most perfect dress ever. I met with dear sweet Chelsea who listened to me and calmed me through the haze. She made me feel amazing and completely made all of the drama disappear when she put the veil on my head. LOVE LOVE LOVE my experience there!

I had a very strange experience at this shop. The woman who helped me was not great. I picked out everything with little to no help from her. She didn’t really pick out any dresses for me and made some strange comments. I told her what I had studied in college and she illogically brought up a controversial opinion about my degree and put me in an uncomfortable position. Then when I decided that all of the dresses I liked would take too much in alterations because of my petite proportions she made the comment “yeah our dresses just aren’t for every bride”. Inferring that my style didn’t align with the shop, which just felt like an elitist comment. The shop is beautiful and the selection is good, so hopefully you get a better stylist than I did.

I ordered a bridesmaid dress here recently because they didnt have my size in store. They shipped me the wrong size. I called the store and the rep gave me the wrong information, telling me that they would send me a return label. But after a week, they still hadnt. So I called again and another rep said that I had to call the manufacturer for the return label, ship it back, then they would reorder me the size I needed. Did all of that and after 3 weeks still hadnt received the dress. I even got charged for the return label, which I had to complain about because it was their mistake not mine. I finally sent another email asking about the order update and they replied that during the processing, the dress became unavailable and was sorry for the inconvenience...I am the maid of honor for my best friends wedding! This is the worst experience Ive ever had with an online order. Not only is it inconvenient that I had to do all of this, it is extremely frustrating and am very disappointed in the level of service. Especially for a store/brand that values quality and service.I am also preparing for my own wedding and was considering Bhldn/Anthropology dresses, but with this experience I will not come back.

This store is inside the anthropologie store on the second floor. They have a wide variety of beautiful wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses in store. Lots of fitting rooms but you might have to wait for the big mirror if its a little crowded. The girls are helpful in picking out dresses you would like and answer all questions asked. You wont be disappointed in making a trip here.

UPDATE:I loved this shop so much when I tried on wedding gowns, so when it came time to look for bridesmaids dresses I definitely wanted to start here. I booked an appointment for two bridesmaids telling them over the phone the several styles I wanted the girls to try. When we arrived (15 minutes EARLY), they let us shop around. Great. At our appt time, we reviewed the selections and they set us in a dressing room area. The consultant then proceeds to tell us that only one person can try on a dress at a time and well have time to try on about 3 dresses each total... Wait , what..?? There were 3 rooms open, why not let them try simultaneously? I asked to be moved to the anthropologie side so the girls have more space and can EACH have a room and they happily obliged. Next, the stylist starts pulling the dresses and this takes another 15 minutes, so no were about 20ish minutes into the appointment already. Why were the dresses I asked for during the previous booking phone call not already pulled? We try on as many dresses as quickly as we can and then start nearing the hour mark and the consultant starts getting antsy, were about out of time. But wait- we didnt even get started until 20 minutes after because it took her forever to pull dresses so why should we be penalized for that? The girls end up buying the dresses that we fell in love with and it seems to be going well. One bridesmaid needed to exchange her dress because the size that was suggested by the consultant was just too small in the bust. (She took measurements at the appointment.) After receiving the dress and calling BHLDN, the customer service rep told her that shed have to make a full return first and THEN REORDER the same dress in another size because it wasnt our fault that the sizing was wrong. So no exchanges, cool cool. The free shipping code they gave was also invalid. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE! These dresses were almost $300 and we could have gone somewhere else with less stress. Im so disappointed and heartbroken for my bridesmaids. Worst customer service.Original Review:I tried on SO MANY gowns at this store and had the best experience. I didnt end up buying my dress here but I highly recommend this store to anyone. The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and just all over amazing.

I had high hopes for my visit to BHLDN. I met up with my family in Seattle to go dress shopping, and BHLDN was a big part of why we chose Seattle specifically. I scheduled my BHLDN appointment first, hoping that I would find my dress there. I had selected six dresses to try on - for a one hour appointment, this seemed reasonable. My stylist assured me when I arrived that we would have abundant time.However, after starting the appointment about ten minutes late (not our fault - we were there about 20 minutes early, but the appointment before mine ran late), we only had time to try on four. After those four, we were told that we were out of time - too bad. I was given my measurements, told that I was probably a size 2, and then we were somewhat hurried out of the dressing area and my stylist disappeared. Maybe her shift was ending? My stylist was friendly, but all business. I expected the experience to be more fun. I was also told before my appointment that they would have sizes 4 and 10 available to try on. Being a size 2 or 4, this seemed pretty perfect. However, with one exception, the size 4 of every style I wanted to try on was out for cleaning so only the 10s were available.BHLDNs dresses are beautiful and timeless - no doubt about that. But my experience was less than stellar. Hopefully others have better luck. I ended up finding my dress at I Do Bridal Too - another wedding shop in Seattle that I would highly recommend.

Poor customer service. The ladies dont know how to introduce themselves, smile or even say hello. All they care about is money. I would not shop here again. The women are in serious need of training. Its supposed to be a fun and happy experience finding a wedding dress.

Terrible experience. My future daughter in law found her dream dress...just to have the sales gal tell us that it was discontinued and unavailable. So disappointing. They offered her the sample at a 10% discount. What an insult. Will never recommend BHLDN. It was heartbreaking for the bride to be. Heres an idea...check that the dress is available BEFORE you have the bride try it on.

Pro tip, its pronounced Beholden... Yeah I had no idea at first. Expensive, being bridal sales and all, but the dresses are sometimes cheaper and thats nice. Perfect boho look. Super friendly staff. Wish they had more shoes to try on, thats why I went to the physical location, but I understand thats not their focus. The gal there had great tips on further searches for me. Loved loved loved this place. The dresses were amazing quality and very reasonably priced. Everything about this bridal shop is cute, it’s very nicely decorated and a fun environment and the dresses are all so beautiful, they truly have something for everybody.I saw a lot of the other complaints about being rushed through the appointment... all of the appointments are an hour long and they are very upfront about that and you get many notifications via email about your appointment length so, anybody complaining about that didn’t pay enough attention. They were probably trying to rush you so you had an opportunity to try on as many dresses as possible in the time allowed.Would highly recommend to any bride.

I recently ordered a few things online to Australia for my wedding and was super excited to get the dress and shoes ( i ordered two sizes of the shoes because im usually a half size so i wasnt sure where i fit into their sizing) When i received them i chose the shoes that fit and was sad to see that the dress didnt fit me properly. So i sent one pair of shoes and the dress back (within the time limit) almost a month later i got a refund for the shoes but not the dress. Ive sent the multiple emails about this and they have basically told me that the warehouse lost it and they wont be able to refund me unless it turns up which is ridiculous as it was a 280$ US dress!! so disappointing, I really love their products but sadly will never spend my money here again.

If I could give the experience a 0, I would.The dresses however are very nice in a great price range for all budgets.I found a dress I liked there but was quickly rushed out of it to take my measurements because the girl had somewhere else to be. Super saddening. I came in the middle of the day on a weekend and was totally rushed from start to finish. I wasnt expecting a grand experience by any means but a little thoughtfulness would have been nice. There were other brides with different stylists that seemed to be having a good time. Perhaps it was the luck of the draw and I got someone on a bad day?My mom and I tried on non bridal dresses after for fun in the other part of the store and those ladies were great. Just such a bad bridal gown experience. I would not recommend and have been telling my other bride friends to avoid. Very dissapointed

Customer support is awful. Do NOT shop here if you need international shipping. If you’re looking for a bridal shop in Seattle, I recommend Nordstrom. They have amazing customer service and a good range of options.I decided on buying my bridesmaids dresses from here because there was a current 30% off deal (the promotion had no clear end date). I added them to my cart online and called my bridesmaids to verify their sizes. The next day, I tried to check out and the promo was automatically removed. I emailed customer support hoping they could honor the promo since it didn’t specify the end date. I got a generic reply and it was clear they didn’t read the email.Additionally, one of the dresses was for my bridesmaid in England (which I paid international shipping for). On delivery, it charged me the customs fee which was more than the current dress price!! It would cost too much to ship it back so I’m stuck with paying for the dress. In total, I thought I was paying $160, but ended up spending $350 on a single dress.This company just feels scammy. It’s a shame because I really like their styles and had planned on buying my entire bridesmaids suite here, but I’ll be staying away from now on.

Bought my wedding dress here after two visits. Both the employees I worked with (Yuna and Megan) were friendly and accommodating and made me feel gorgeous. Nice selection and reasonable prices and they made it a fun shopping experience for me and my mom and sister.

It was an awful experience for my daughter. Rushed, treated rudely, would never buy from them. Really made us hate the dresses that tried on and really liked. Please go somewhere where they make you love your dress and get excited about the wedding and dress.

Its on the second floor of Anthropologie. Beautiful dresses and service that rivals some of the larger salons, but the quality of the material is not top notch. Some of the price is definitely the brand name.

My mom and I went into BHLDN without an apointment just to try on some of the white dresses for fun (you can try on any non gowns without an appointment). We pulled around 6 different dresses in various sizes and I fell in love with the second one and knew immediately that it was my wedding dress. The associates were very accommodating and even without an appointment showed the different details of the dress and helped style it. The dress is technically a reception dress but its pure ivory and so long that you can definitely wear it as a dress for the ceremony. Since its not technically a gown it is also a complete steal on the price! We were so happy with our experience and the ladies at BHLDN even gave us a nice hanger and dry cleaner bag for the dress since typically only the gowns come with them.

The employees that work there are knowledgeable and kind, INCREDIBLY helpful and I always feel like Im being catered to! This doesnt happen in retail. It happens in restaurants lol. So, I thank you all, and you have a lifelong customer in me. Id especially like to give a shout out to Crystal (or maybe Krystal) not sure on spelling. Even though I stopped by at the end of the day and without an appointment, the lovely ladies here were nice enough to let me do a quick try on of a dress I had been eyeing online.

My first time visiting BHLDN was my first time trying on any wedding dresses. I had the first appointment on a Sunday( 11am the time the store opens) and had Katie as my stylist. I found Katie to be prepared and helpful with trying dresses on. However, I would not recommend making the first appointment the store opens. I thought one hour would be plenty of time, and it was not. With my mom, and two best friends in town from out of state I felt I didn;t have enough time to make such a huge decision. Luckily, my friend called back shortly after we left and requested a 90 minute appointment the next day with champagne. GAME CHANGER!! Not only was the champagne a nice touch, but 90 minutes made all the difference! I was put with the lead stylist Yuna, and she is the lead for a reason- amazing! She had great suggestions, beautiful energy, and she even put my hair up with a beautiful hair clip for the full effect! I choose my dress, and I am very happy. Would highly recommend! Went to bhldn for bridal dress shopping and had an awesome experience with the stylist!

I drove up to Seattle to check out BHLDN (where I knew I would find my dress!) & an upscale dress boutique (because when else can you do that!?).Yuna over at BHLDN provided such caring service! She was a thousand times over more appreciative and respectful then anyone at the other shops I have visited. Someone at the dress boutique could literally spend $7,000 on a dress and miss not only such a cherishable experience but also saving some serious cash! I can not THANK YOU enough, YUNA!!!! You made me even more excited for my Wedding!

I am thoroughly disappointed at BHLDN. My daughter came out from North Carolina specifically to find the wedding attire she wanted which she did at BHLDN. She was measured for the skirt part of the wedding gown. I purchased it several days later. She went back to North Carolina and received the 2pc wedding dress in the mail and found that the skirt was too small. When contacting BHLDN she was told she could send the skirt back for the next size up if that particular skirt was still available (even tho they have it on stock now they will not hold it). They did offered a 10% off next size up but what good is that when it might not be available.They will not hold the skirt even tho they had made the mistake in the measurements. I am very unhappy with this company and the experience and will return the total outfit and take our business elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience at BHLDN in Seattle. I had a scheduled appointment and brought a couple people with me for it. My stylist told me immediately that we only had an hour and rushed me through the entire appointment because she had closing duties to do before she went home for the day. At one point I had dresses all over the floor in my fitting room, and was stepping on them, so I started to hang them up. She told me to stop and that if i wanted to hang my own clothes that i could walk down the street to Urban Outfitters and ask for an application.. maybe trying to be funny, but not professional and not the type of experience i wanted while trying on wedding dresses. After the 5th time of her checking her watching and asking why i wanted to try the same dress on again, she told me our time was up and we left, extremely disappointed. Just know, this is not a bridal experience, this is a transaction experience- and thats it. I found a dress that i liked, and found it at another salon and will be purchasing it elsewhere.

I ordered shoes for my daughters wedding. I have received 3 or 4 notices that the shoes are backordered... again. They were in stock when I ordered. When I called they said it was the vendors fault. EXCEPT that two other items (earrings and lights) I ordered around the same time had repeated delays and backorder notices also. Cant be the same vendor.SO If you dont mind having to wait a month or two go ahead and try to order from BHLDN. Imagine ordering one of their beautiful wedding dresses and having that be on backorder......

I find their gowns to be very poor quality, especially for the price. When you compare with designer gowns you really see a quality difference, yet some of their gowns are priced just as high!
