This review is for Kenneth, specifically. Im not a big tattoo addict but the ones I have were all done by him. I went to him for my first and I see no reason to ever go to anyone else or anywhere else. Like I said, Im not super knowledgable about tattoos but Ive had a number of people remark on the quality and detail of the tattoo I have of my dogs paw that he did. Kenneth is responsive, detail-oriented, and professional. I highly recommend.

Would recommend coming here for good quality tattoos. We were welcomed in by James who was very nice and was able to get in two walk ins that same day. Our tattoos came out exactly how we wanted. Recommend getting tattoos by Kenneth or John for great service. Will be coming her again!

I don’t normally give one star reviews but the work I got done here was deplorable. This was my second tattoo and so I was unsure of how to feel about this tattoo when I first got it 6 months ago but it is botched there’s no way around it. I asked for artwork from the cover of my favorite book Ishmael by Daniel Quinn in black and grey. I went to Hubba and was excited because he did a tattoo on my mom and step dad which I liked on top of that he was experienced so I knew I could trust him to do a good job. I was wrong, When it was done I looked in the mirror I wanted to cry. The tattoo is completely and utterly botched There’s lines that don’t connect, there’s lines that aren’t remotely straight, the image isn’t even a circle. If i could post photos I would but that feature is conveniently unavailable. What’s most upsetting is what I payed $300 for a 3 in botched tattoo on my arm. This is on my body forever and for an experienced tattoo artist to do work like this? unprofessional. Since then I’ve gotten way better work done for half the price I payed here. I will never be returning and I encourage other people to reconsider getting anything done here.

My cousin and I were in Seattle for vacation and on a whim decided to get tattoos. They accepted us right away and were the kindest people! I got a relatively large piece on my sternum/stomach and Kenneth did a fantastic job! All the other artists in the shop were so kind and uplifting and chill. Super great environment. Amazing amazing artwork! 15/10 recommend!!!!

Came here to have a piercing removed. I had my rook piercing done elsewhere, and it had been bothering me for months so I decided it was time to give up on it. They are so informative and helpful and were so gentle when removing the piercing I literally didnt feel a thing. Highly recommend!!

Passed through town and walked into Tattoo Emporium for a few delicate, tiny tattoos without an appointment. We were helped quickly and kindly by Jimmy. He was professional, comforting, and experienced. Jimmy drew up some sketches from pictures and ideas we had and hit the nail on the head with what my friend and I envisioned. The whole experience was quick and efficient but also relaxing. Jimmy also recommended a great dinner spot around the corner that we went to and enjoyed very much. Would definitely recommend Tattoo Emporium to the travelers and residents of Seattle!

I had a hella good experience here. Had this tattoo planed for a while but it was definitely an impulsive “I’m going to get it now” kind of thing so I didn’t have an apt. I called around a few shops and in all honesty Seattle tattoo emporium was the nicest on the phone and the only place that could squeeze me in for a walk in (although I think they do take walk ins regularly). I didn’t care who tattooed me, but I’m glad Mishka was there!! I gave him the design I had which I got on the front of my upper thigh to cover up some old scars. I had him change a few things with the sketch which he did an amazing job at. He took everything I wanted into consideration; simple design, straight lines and stuff. Kind of a starter piece for an area I want to fill in more. Anyway, great experience start to finish thanks to everyone at Seattle tattoo emporium buy especially Mishka who was super nice and professional, easy to talk to and killed it on my tattoo. Thanks you guys!!!

Be careful with wait time for walks in was told and hour and a half waited over three hours its a 150 dollar deposit which is done in a gift card. Hourly rate is 200. I paid 180 and was on the table for roughly 20 minutes

It was basically empty, due to the current pandemic, but I was able to get in quickly. My artist, Ken was a great man. He was able to do exactly what I wanted. All in all it was a great experience. 😁😁😁

Tattoo was ok, I was very amendable with the secretary about the reference I provided when I put my name on the waitlist, and since it was meant to be a small reminder of my time in Seattle and nothing too meaningful I was feeling ok with the result.What bothered me most and what left a bad taste in my mouth was the use of a non refundable deposit. Which would be fine if properly deducted from total amount, but after my friend finished paying for her tattoo she realized that they did not deduct the deposit from the total amount so she ended up paying double for her tattoo, so we went back to see what could be done about it since we figured it was an honest mistake on their part. We were told that nothing could be done unless she wanted to buy $150 (deposit amount) worth of merchandise/tshirts. Of course we thought this was ridiculous, but the secretary would not budge on the non refundable rule and with a deadeye stare and no sympathy whatsoever told us that the easiest thing would just be to ‘eat the double charge’. And when we asked if we could involve the card company and cancel the charge, the secretary said that doing so would end up messing up the visiting tattoo artist that did her tattoo, and who I might add did a much better job on creating her tattoo than anyone else at the store seemed to be doing. So we had to ask someone that was waiting in line for a tattoo if they wanted to buy the deposit off of us, and thankfully someone did (all with no help from either the secretary or any other senior staff).Honestly, if you don’t want to support a shady business do not go here.

Went in 2 hours before close for a walk in and they got all three of us in before they closed. Super clean place. Extremely nice artists. Tattoo was done in around 10 minutes and it looks amazing. Healed perfectly.

Mishka Antonov was the artist who did my first two tattoos and did a wonderful job paying attention to little details and making sure I was comfortable the whole time. There was a moment where I was quite light headed and he made sure to give me water and a chewy candy to boost my blood sugar and allow me a minute to feel better before continuing. I very highly recommend Mishka to anyone looking for a new tattoo.

Holier than though attitude. It’s a real turnoff when in this environment a business doesn’t even pretend to want you as a customer. Passive aggressive front staff from the get go who claimed they can’t show you any artwork no walkins and they clearly had time for a quick tat. The prices are sky high save your money and go to a different neighborhood and for a bigger spend pay for a flight to PVR Mexico and head to club mystique. Wouldn’t want bad energy inked into my body

I was recommended this place because my boyfriend went here and her experience was great. I went on their Instagram to find an artist who would best suit my tattoo style. Their have a wide variety of artists who specialize in different styles. There isnt really parking here, itll be unlikely for you to find it in the back parking lot. There is street parking but that can be difficult if you come during a busy time. But my experience was positive. You can text them and schedule a time to come in. I found their artist since his script was impeccably clean. When I came in I didnt have to wait long. There isnt a lot of seating room in the front but if you have a booking theyll move you into the studio to sit at your artists station. My experience with the tattoo artist was nothing but positive. He was helpful and accommodating. Communication was important so he was able to adequately help me out with my tattoo and concerns. He made sure I was nothing but satisfied with my tattoo. I never felt rushed. He paid a lot of attention to detail to make sure it was straight on and exactly what I wanted. He would check in with me to make sure I wasnt in too much pain or felt uncomfortable. I brought in a tattoo bandage and he informed me of the pros and cons of using it and even put it on for me. He made sure things were perfect. I loved my tattoo and experience. This tattoo has been my favorite not only because of the quality of the tattoo but how positive the experience was. Additionally, after talking to him, he was honest that some styles of tattooing arent his strong suit so he wouldnt recommend personally doing certain kinds. This demonstrated to me he genuinely cares about clients and his integrity as opposed to wanting to just make money. He was fun to talk to and enjoyable to be around. He took videos and high-quality pictures of my tattoo and went out of his way to send them to me.

Left me with a unfinished tattoo so tattoo artist could take care of another customer that had a appointment 👎👎👎👎👎

I called in to ask if I could get a estimate on a certain tattoo and the guy I spoke to was rude and unprofessional. I definitely won’t be coming in to get a tattoo. Phone calls should be treated with respect you just lost out on some money by someone who was eager to Hear from you.

This place in phenomenal. Two others and myself have traveled to Seattle twice in the last two years and both times we’ve stopped into this shop. We are 6 for 6 on being extremely satisfied with our tattoos. I have seen Rob for both of mine. The two he’s done are phenomenal pieces, I get compliments all the time on my first one. Had the second done Wednesday and have already had a couple people stop me to ask where it was done. He works very hard to give you a product that fits where you want it, looks great, and won’t deteriorate over time. My next trip to Seattle I will definitely be back.

These guys are hands down amazing. Rob did a tattoo for both my sister and I, while Jimmy worked on a piece for my dad. These guys are absolutely amazing, they worked with us super fast and were patient while we decided what to do. We told them what we wanted and all 3 pieces turned out way beyond what we expected. I stopped here during a long layover in Seattle. Even though I had a limited amount of time, they were really accommodating. Eric started his shift early to meet with me. He offered very thorough info as to what I should expect the tattoo to look like (due to its placement on the underside of my hand) and my color options. Super professional, relaxed, and friendly! First time visiting Seattle, WA and getting a tattoo was on the to-do list. I did my research and discovered Seattle Tattoo Emporium, which was one of the best tattoo places I’ve been to. Artists were helpful, kind and has beautiful handword/artwork, not to mention the staff were very welcoming. 15/10 would recommend.

What an awesome experience. I went asking about a sleeve and the guys were open and honest about everything. How big it would have to be, how many hours and how much it would cost. They never waivered or waffled to try to sell me on something that would suck. I ended getting a custom American traditional shark done by Daniel Skillingstead and it is fantastic

Got a walk in tattoo here Monday. Everyone was super friendly and nice. Very comfortable and non-judgey atmosphere. Very clean. The artist was great, friendly and helpful. I love my tattoo. It’s healing super fast and really well. I’m from the east coast but next time I visit I’ll definately be going back!

In October I came here looking to get a lip tattoo. I called before coming in to make sure someone could do that for me. After being told they could do it, I came in and had “no ragrets” tattooed. When he told me it was done I got up to go look. My first impression of it was that it was very VERY bad handwriting. Of course I couldn’t expect that much because after all, it was a joke lip tattoo. But, it was to the point where it was barely legible. But, it only got worse when I closed my mouth. I was mortified. He managed to do such a terrible job that you could see the end letters with my mouth closed. It looked like I had a black lip ring! (But hey no ragrets right) After I told him about it, he went over it again with something that would supposedly make it go away in a few days. He ended up not charging me for his bad mistake and I left. A few days later, I was still waiting for the outside portion of it to go away... 3 months later and it is still here!! In his defense part of it did fade, but not quite the right part. What was originally “no ragrets” faded to “ragrets” (haha)Moral of the story, be careful of what they tell you they can do for you here. You don’t want to end up with a permanent lip ring look like me!

He was amazing, I talked to him about what I wanted and texted him some pictures and he figured it out quickly, set up an appointment and put it on me. Im really happy with how the doe came together and he managed to make it look like it was made out of light. Great experience Id recommend this shop and Hubba to anyone looking to get their first or 20th piece done!
