Bike was solid. Not the typical rental... People were great! Andy the owner could not have been nicer. Recommended a route....gave me a map.. and I was out the door on what turned out to be an awesome day of riding. If you are an airline guy, he is the place to go if you stay downtown. Pics say it all.

I took my Trek road bike in for a tune-up today and I’m almost in happy tears from how smooth the ride is now, and how dope my bike looks with the most beautiful bar tape wrap job I’ve ever seen.The staff is very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. No egos, no B.S. They are absolutely lovely. Prices are very fair.There’s still good left in this crazy world, and it’s in the form of this place ❤️

I got my Cannondale hybrid repaired with annual tune-up there this week. The cost was 1/3 -1/4 of that of quotes I got at 2 other shops and from my last-tune-up. There was no backlog. The turn-around was 2 days- also unheard-of for Seattle where basic tune-ups can take weeks. They answered the phone. They were polite, clear and friendly and didnt treat me like dirt, unlike other shops because A. Im a woman, B. I use my bike for commuting and not riding the Tour De France. They also didnt do unneeded repairs, which Ive experienced before in tune-ups. They test-rode the bike before giving it back to test the derailed... something other shops often dont bother to do. This is everything you need in a bike repair. Highly recommended!

The Fuji grand fondo I rented was really well maintained. The service was great and My ride around Bainbridge island was really nice because everything was super easy from renting the bike to getting ferry tickets and finding awesome places for lunch

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Super friendly and the prices are very reasonable - unlike the last bike shop I went to which wouldn’t look at my bike for less than $100. And they go out of their way to give you pointers and show you how to do some of the maintenance on your own. So refreshing to have a bike shop that wants to help you! At some other shops I get the strong impression they would rather be out mountain biking than having to deal with you.

Andy and The Bicycle Repair Shop are awesome. I made an tune-up appointment for my Performance TT bike on-line the night before. Andy was ready to work when I arrived at 9:00 am and the bike was finished and ready for pick-up at noon. Just finished my first ride they did an incredible job. I could not recommend this place enough.

Twice Priscilla took us (my son and me) in and on the fly and fixed our rear flat. The second time (just this morning), while putting on a new tire and tube we bought from her, taught my son how to perform the repairs on his own. This place is wonderful. I took the train into the city and was riding my bike to a meeting when I realized I had forgotten my chain lock. I needed a new U-Lock anyways so I went to a few places. Bicycle Repair Shop had the best prices and the employee was impressively helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this store for repairs and equipment.

I’ve been there multiples times with different kind of bikes and Andy and his stuff are very professional. For a bike shop in downtown Seattle is not expensive at all and they don’t try to upscale you. FYI The dog that works there as well is so cute

This is the best bike shop that Ive ever visited. Ive been a patron since 2012, and this is where I send my friends and co-workers to get their bikes service. Andy is the best bike shop (and small business owner) personnel around. These folks try their best to make the bike you have work for you, and in my experience, turn almost all service and repair efforts around between drop-off in the morning and pick-up after work.I cannot recommend this shop enough - I get my bike serviced here 2-3 times each year, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Andy and Brad and the rest of the team have kept my bikes high-functioning at incredibly reasonable rates.

Great rental experience at The Bicycle Repair Shop on a crazy-busy sunny Saturday recently. Four of us had come from the East Coast for a wedding. We rented bikes and spent three hours riding all the way to Ballard Locks and back. I ride bikes daily and was impressed with the Bicycle Repair Shops standard rental bikes - fairly lightweight, lots of gears that shifted easily, and large side bags in case we wanted to haul anything. Bags came with locks and tire repair kits, too. My wife wanted a bigger seat. No problem. And she really appreciated those gears once we hit the long climb up from the waterfront to the hill above the locks. One tip. Be sure to grab a Bike Rentals brochure before you head out. The back side has a big map of Seattles bike paths. You will want it at some of the places where paths split.

While many businesses offer lackluster customer service and mediocre workmanship, this shop proves to be very different. I called and spoke to Priscilla about the price and turnaround time to have my new Cinelli Hobootleg assembled. After speaking with her, I felt like I was a longtime valued customer so needless to say, I took my bike there. I dropped the bike off to Andy and he was just as pleasant and welcoming as Priscilla. My bike was ready a bit earlier than I was originally told and the final cost was exactly the very reasonable price I was quoted! These guys are awesome. After work, I got to my bike to discover my back tire was completely flat. It had a slow leak, so I was able to pump it up enough to make it to their shop. I got there 10 minutes before closing and they were able to fit me in. They replaced my tube and picked all of the glass shards out of my tire. Awesome customer service and they saved me from having to do this myself in the dark and the cold.

I bought my very first bike (Specialized Diverge) a month ago. I was having some shifting issues and they were able to fix it so quickly all the while being incredibly professional, kind, and honest about their services. Brad is seriously the best. Its the first time Ive ever had to go in for repairs, but I will never get my bike fixed anywhere else. You can tell why this shop has perfect 5.0 star rating and its from their great customer service! Highly recommend stopping in!

Beck and I have rented bikes in plenty of places, but none as laid back, friendly and helpful as Andy’s place. Two great days this week, first with a tight Fuji all carbon for a 3+ hour tour of Seattle, then today on a pair of iZip E Bikes for an all day run around Bainbridge Island taking in half the Chilly Hilly route on Andy’s suggestion. Andy and team have been taking care of my commuter bike since I started. They are knowledgeable and attentive to different options for parts and service. I have an e-bike and they are more then willing to service the bike while Im at work and they carry e-bike specific accessories too. I have also observed them on the rental side and they take great care to help out of town guests with their biking needs.

I didnt want to go on a guided bicycle tour, so I went to these guys. They told me the perfect route to go on to avoid the huge Seattle hills. The bikes performed perfectly and they helped make the self guided tour a wonderful experience.

So great! I went here when I was a novice cyclist learning how to maintain my bike. They were so welcoming and friendly. Bicycle shops can be intimidating when you dont know how to change a flat or what your tire pressure should be, but they were so helpful and supportive of me learning more about cycling.

Had a good experience here. I was in to buy a new light and the guy was knowledgeable about all the products. Didnt try to upsell me to a really expensive light. And they did a quick adjustment to my rear derailleur for free. Would definitely recommend this place

I bike commute from the ferry to Capitol Hill with my twin kids on an electric cargo bike. That morning while getting on the ferry we discovered our rear break didnt work. Not good. Andy fit us in right at 8:00, fixed our hydraulic line and got us back on the road safely. Now THAT is customer service! Oh, and the brake works great.

Great shop. Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He advised me on places to go mountain biking, and suggested checking Recycled Cycles for a cheap crankset. I decided to buy parts and tools to do a repair myself, and he was very encouraging.I got a tube from him to fix a flat, but it went flat overnight. He replaced it for free when I came back, but then it went flat overnight again a couple days later... hm. Not sure what to think, but I dont think the shop is at fault just yet. There may be a subtle problem with my tire or my rim. Or maybe the tube cant handle 75psi when used with the max tire size it is made for. (2.00)

Called in at 5:30 to ask if they could fix my inner tube. They replied yes and even gave me the exact price. Arrived and got my inner tube replaced in 10 minutes. Brad even pumped air in my other tire. 10/10

Andy and Brad and the team were awesome. My husband and I came to Seattle from the UK for 3 months and needed bikes and the guys helped us out no end. We took prospective Craigslist purchases in for them to look at before buying and I ended up buying a new bike from them which was high quality. When I did have a problem with the gears they looked at it for free and got it back to me within 10 minutes. Along with the great service, the guys are incredibly friendly and genuinely want you to get back on your bike as quickly and cheaply as possible.I wish we had a bike shop this good where we live in England. Andy and Jake have helped me so many times throughout the years. These are some of the most down to earth people I have met. Always ready to help, these guys know their stuff, and can fix commuter bikes, carbon road bikes, fat tire bikes, build wheelsets... the list goes on and on. The one thing that stands out about the shop is you can drop off your bike in the morning, and get your bike for the ride home after work. I know that if anything is wrong with my rig, these guys are going to fix it and get me back on the road quickly.

You should just get a new bike. Thats the answer I got on my classic road bike. Thankfully another shop stepped in and repaired my bike for a very good price. Dont do business downtown, youre more likely to be ripped off.

While their prices arent the cheapest (compared to Amazon or ebay), from what Ive seen they only stock high-quality stuff and stand behind it relentlessly- to the point of making REI look bad with their new policies.Their hours are also commuter-friendly, opening at 8 am unlike the vast majority of bike shops. Theyre conveniently located for a huge portion of the Seattle commuter population. They will also do their best to get any service done while youre at work- that is, drop your bike off on the way into work and ride it home.
