The crew here is very warm and helpful Chantha, Tith, Shawn, Saila, and Son really do take care of all your car needs. I shouldnt have to tow the vehicle into your shop just to see if the vehicle is an interference or not motor, that is what research is for before the customer tows in his or her vehicle to your shop. Also you should be able to give a ballpark figure how much a car repair could cost especially when you said that your shop has done similar jobs in the past. A complete waste of the day but maybe it was my fault for bringing a car in for a broken timing belt job repair to a tire shop.

Quoted me for upwards of $3,000 on a car that just needed an oil change and an alignment.I asked for the invoice which they told me couldnt be given to me for computer reasons, and they also didnt add the $130 analysis fee to my receipt. Couldnt possibly recommend this to a friend without running the risl of them getting scammed. Avoid this place at all costs.

Waited on s call to get tires installed. After 4 hours i drove to the shop. They had gotten to busy and forgotten my appointment. Had to reschedule for the next day. Overall service was good and staff as nice.

I sent in one of my employees to get some tires dismounted off of some wheels that I am having refinished. These guys charged a mount and balance price. I called them and said I believed we had been miss charged and the guy on the phone told me to stop crying about it 130 bucks to have 4 tires removed is outrageous for less than 10 minutes of work. They will not get any of my business moving forward. Stick to the honest guys that arent trying to take advantage of people.

Great customer service very helpful and understanding

I had a terrible experience here. My car had been getting repeatedly vandalized and one day my tires were slashed. Not knowing who would have done this, I was really upset and just had the tow truck take it to the nearest shop which was here.The first thing that happened is that a guy in the lobby starting asking me personal questions, about where I work and where I live, and said “You must be quite the person” because of what happened to my tires. He said these things while I was crying and he was sitting behind the desk, and said “by the way, I don’t work here”.The mechanic came back and said my tires had to be replaced, I said that was fine. I had to leave the car for a day, and while at work the next day I get a call saying they did an inspection (which I did not ask for) and said my front brakes needed to be replaced immediately and I needed an oil change and a flush for everything. It was a lot of money and I got very upset because I didn’t have it.I told them only to do the front brakes but they ended up doing all of it through a miscommunication. They were extremely pushy and kept trying to get me to get the services I said I didn’t want repeatedly. This was all while I was under extreme panic and distress, and I felt I was definitely taken advantage of. I know my car didn’t need all of that service since there’s only 30,000 miles on it. Now I’m stuck paying over a grand over a period of 3 months and I don’t even know how I’m going to pay rent.I really wish I had asked for my parts back because I really doubt they needed to be replaced. I had to go back because my car started making a grinding noise when I got it back and I noticed they were hassling other people for services they didn’t need.Don’t go here, and women beware that mechanics will pull this stuff on you because they think we don’t know.

These guys are legit. They have honest prices and they get you in and out. Both times ive been able to schedule same day service. Quality work. Ill be taking my truck here from now on.

Had such a great experience at this location! I went in to get a flat tire fixed, the guys working were able to help right away (even though they were all currently working on other cars). I assumed I would need to purchase a new tire, but they were able to repair my tire instead. I was out of there within 20 minutes! The store manager, Son, was very helpful and friendly! Definitely going back for future car service.

Convenient location to where were staying. Although price fluctuates. When I called the oil change was $29, when I showed up it was 40+ dollars. They had a -5$ coupon on website so it ended up being $35. I brought my own oil and filter which was $45 extra.

I came here with a VERY unique problem, and they were nice enough to immediately get my car lifted up and they actually were beyond flexible to cater to my unique needs while at the same time providing excellent customer service. They ended up fixing my problem that majority of shops wont do, and they did it at an unbelievable price.I have dealt with MANY car shops before, and this is by far the best experience I have ever had. I will definitely come back, and I will also recommend this shop to everyone. I had a fantastic experience as the employees and the management were very pleasant people to work with.

This is the only business I ever wrote negative review on. And I am a software developer.If you look up the word “crooked business” on the dictionary this business will show up. They will break your car ,then charge you tons of money to fix it for you while being rude and unprofessional.I will tell you in details what They did to me but I hate long reviews and I imagine most people do too. Just believe me when I tell you, if you go here you might regret it big time!!

I showed up without an appointment and the bearded fella (didn’t catch his name) did everything he could to accommodate me. He didn’t end up having the right tire for my car, but he was by the most pleasant person I’ve ever encountered at any automotive shop. I woke up to a flat tire. I need to have my spare put on. AAA acme and put in air but did not replace spare, so hit google for help. I ended up at Point S and grateful after a brief wait my tire was changed and gratefully they pointed out that to cracks in sidewalls indicating the balance of my 12 year old tires had to be replaced. Unfortunately they did not carry the tires. I asked what I owed and they said we just put on your spare. No charge. I will definitely go back.

Best place to get your car worked on. Ive been going here for years. Even before they changed their name from Affordable Tire. They have the best prices and friendly. They explain everything you need done on your car so you know why its a necessary repair. I saved so much money by going there instead of the dealership. I recommend it highly

I recently took my car to these guys for brake pads change for my Mercedes. They charged me arms and legs saying that they installed me genuine parts from the dealership. After a few weeks, my car now squeaks when I step on the break. By any measure, a genuine Mercedes break pad will not squeak in weeks of driving. They’re unprofessional, dishonest and they’re trashing the Point S Affordable tire brand.I’ll never go back to this shop.

I have been patronizing this place since they opened years ago. Ive bought tires, had front end alignments, etc and have always been happy with my service. The company has very low turnover so the employees arent new every time you come in. You dont just get some teenager who knows nothing about cars working for you. Just dont come in expecting a five-minute oil change. This is a real shop, not a rip-off place that will forget to tighten your oil filter. Highly recommended.

I have now gotten 3 sets of tires and had 2 brake jobs completed here. The staff has always been friendly and accurate in their quotes, and will show you why they think repairs need to be made. Honest work at a fair price, in a timely fashion.

Initially I had a bad experience with Affordable Tire and Brake and posted about it here. My wife had taken the car in to get new tires and they recommended replacing the shocks, struts and several other parts. The technician communicated to my wife that this was a safety issue with the car, but when I had taken it in to the dealer a month earlier, they had said nothing about it, and the neighborhood mechanic also said that things were fine. Several months later, Affordable Tire and Brake called me to see if they could make it right. They explained that some other people had had a similar experience with the particular technician who had worked on my car, and that they had let him go because they didnt want to be trying to scare their customers into getting repairs done on their cars. They asked if I could bring it in and they could take a second look and offered to do some work for free. I brought the car in, and after they had looked at it, invited me to come look as well, and explained what they were seeing. They showed me where the shocks and struts werent doing their job, admitted that this was not yet a safety issue with the car, but that other parts (bushings) would get worse and worse the longer that we kept the old shocks and struts on since they were rusted, werent working properly and the car was bottoming out. Because they felt bad about what had originally happened, they offered to replace the shocks and struts and do an alignment free of charge as long as I paid for the parts, and they even gave me the option of buying my own shocks and struts elsewhere and bringing them in for them to install. They also gave me coupons for 3 free oil changes. I took them up on their offer and because of their efforts to go out of their way to make this situation right, I would definitely recommend their shop to others.

One of our cars had a flat tire after coming back from vacation over the Holidays. We didnt discover this till we were driving in Seattle and the wheel was just pulling had. Of course our to-go place is Costco all the way out in Issaquah but I just called around the area and got a hold of Point S Affordable Tire & Service just a few blocks away. Son Krouch & his team were able to help me get the hole plug and tire back on airs for free; which was awesome.After that, I remembered a few more items on the honey-do list I needed to check off for my girlfriends car. So I asked if they could do a battery swap and fix that blasted headlight. They were able to do both the next day and at a reasonable price. It was a Win/Win and I look like the hero without getting my hands dirty.Then you for the service Son and his team performed for us. I will definitely be taking our other car in for maintenance as well.

Very rude and disrespectful staffs. They tell you all kinds of problem your car did not have just to charge you a whole lot extra. These guys fixed my tire quickly (and for free!!) on a Friday afternoon. I realized that my tire was losing air because of the tire pressure monitoring system on my new car. I looked at the tire and saw a screw lodged in it. I tried to remove the screw and heard a hissing sound. Rather than waiting for the tire to go flat I looked online and call Affordable Tire. They said they could fix my tire right away. They were respectful and took care of my tire as soon as I arrived onsite. I would definitely return to this place for tires or other services.

My first experience in getting an oil change went smoothly and was affordable. But my second time in the establishment I was being hustled and upsold for $20 more dollars. Then when I presented a coupon the added $5 doolars to the service to break even on their normal rate.Women be wary.

I have been going to this this garage for over 10 years and have Ive had major work done on my 2002 Acura at this shop. I have had great service! Jeff is a great manager, responsive and reliable. Chanthan is a great mechanic who took time to figure out what was wrong with my car.

They took my money but never fixed the problem. Took my vehicle back again and they claim it was fixed they did nothing but move the needle in the cluster. Took it to a other shop it was a sensor in the tank that had went out. Not happy with them and will never recommend them to anybody.

I had similar experience to Emily A. on 10/17/16. I took my car in for an alignment and was quoted $1,572.50 for repairs and they tried to charge $50 for an Inspection. They said axles, bearings and steering rack needed repairs before the alignment can be done. I was upset and let them know that Axles do not play a part in aligning your car and I only simply asked for an alignment not an Inspection that most shops perform for free because they are genuinely concerned for your safety. The assistant manager quickly withdrew the amount and offered the Inspection for free because there were customers in the lobby.10 minutes into our trip home, my tire falls off on the freeway going around 60 MPH. The car slid with sparks flying everywhere on the freeway for at least 100 yards before I was able to stop the car safely. The wheel ended up 300 yards down the freeway after colliding into the rear of a SUV.Luckily no one was injured or worse the loss of a life. I towed the car back to the shop immediately to show them what had happened. They denied that they ever took the wheel off.My car has been with them ever since that day and they have not made any efforts to resolve the issue satisfactorily. Today 11/4/16 manager named Son called and threatened to tow the car if I did not show up with my keys. After speaking with the salesman today, they offered to fix my car for $500 instead of $1,572.50.I would not recommend anyone to experience this type of treatment. Please be aware of what is being sold to you. Im not a mechanic but have been in and around cars since I was 12 years old. These guys are going to rip you off.I will be contacting a lawyer soon to get some legal advice.

I got a low tire sign in my car and this was the closest place to get it fixed. Son greeted me at the front door and kept me posted on the progress. It ended up being a nail that punctured the tire and they fixed my tire for free! Quick and great service!

These guys are great. Price point is about average but they are FAST. I drop off tires to get mounted for my weekend racer every other month or so and they are always waiting for me before the time quoted. They were also able to get the half shafts out of my 05 4runner when I failed at home, and even installed my lift spacers! Jay is awesome and doesnt shy away from things outside of normal maintenance like other shops do. Keep it up!In response to Chansook Saechao below, it sounds like you should have had the inspection done and work completed before driving off. It is pretty common practice for shops to refuse to work on cars that are in such poor states until they are brought up to a safe condition to work on. An alignment wouldnt have fixed your car if the wheel bearings were shot and wobbling, and the steering rack had play. In fact, they may not have even been able to align it at all. Youre right the axle wasnt likely at fault, but it sounds to me like you should have listened to the pros and allowed them to perform the work necessary to make your car road worthy.

This place is a con. Please do not go here. Not recommended. We had taken our car in to inspect and possibly resurface the brake rotors. Being experienced at this myself I knew what needed to be done and when they said they needed to replace the rear rotors I was fine with this. However, $600 later I have a car that shakes violently and all because the people at this place didnt bother to even resurface the rough stock rotors. How a place could not clock the surface of the rough stock rotors in the first place defies belief. Really bad workmanship and actually very deceptive. Unfortunately I cant go back there for a warranty claim because Im travelling. I can get the rotors resurfaced in Las Vegas for $89. Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else more reputable.

I didnt know Point S was in the neighborhood until I needed a tire shop and Im pleased I found them. I had a severely punctured tire and they fixed it for way less than Id expected within about 15 minutes. The people running the place, both manager and workers were super friendly and helpful. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARE HERE! A Few months ago I got tires here and they gave me a free oil change. A month later I took my car in for the free oil change. A month after that the engine blew from an oil leak at the oil filter. Verified by Subaru dealership and Toyota dealership. If you love your car this is where your car goes to die!

Women beware: I took my civic to these folks for a simple tire alignment, and got a call a few hours later that I needed my wheel bearings, break pads, rotors, etc. all replaced, and said it would be $925. Frank explicitly said you dont hear the rumbling noise or notice that your car swerves back and forth when you break? which was a huge exaggeration and made me feel bullied into paying for the fixes. However, something didnt sit right with me so I told him not to do the proposed fixes and I took it to my normal non-tire mechanic (who Ive been going to for years), who said that I didnt actually need any of these fixes! His direct quote was I think they saw you coming. I am young, blonde, showed up in my formal office attire, and absolutely feel like I was manipulated because I didnt look like I knew much about cars. I am disgusted to experience blatant sexism in this way and would not recommend this place to anyone, specifically other women. As for the tire alignment: the total was over $100, which seems kind of expensive for what it is.
