Great market with a myriad of food options and a microwave to heat them! Theres also beer and wine chips and shelf stable goods, fresh produce and fresh lunch packs. They even have some German goods! Will definitely be stopping back on my daily commutes.

I loved this product in the Asia Market! The product is freshly!! The price is good!! So my opinion for the Quail eggs is not a good quality and I am disappointing for that reality. How they can sell this product that almost eggs are rooted in the small package?? The price for each package is 3.49 dollars.So I would like to buying this product just fresh! Thank you!!

This is a small market but crammed with goods and I found most of the things I was looking for quickly. Friendly, efficient service and fresh produce. For someone driving a distance, it isnt the H Mart I would recommend, but its excellent if youre already in the area.

Great place to pick up hard to find items for asian food recipes. Competitive pricing and even has a key cutting machine. Its two story layout does throw people off but once you get used to it, it is fine.

A great variety of snacks, and ready-to-go meals and meats that look freshly packaged. Wear a fleece. Its freezing in there.

They sell expired beef, and hot pot mix. I wasnt expecting it so I hadnt checked. In one trip.

It is a nice little market. Sometimes they have expired chips and stuff so I always check expiration dates on all products. I come here fairly often, at least once or twice a week and the employees are always friendly.

Finally an Asian store that sells Mochi! Great selection and reasonable prices. I’ll definitely come here again.

Great place to get specialty ingredients for cooking. Crazy selection of products. I bought a HUGE bag of MSG for like $10! A tiny little shaker of MSG is $7 at Safeway. The people who work their are super nice too. Great store. Definitely recommend checking it out.

Always love coming here to get snacks and drinks! The selection is amazing and I love their back wall of ramen. Surprisingly hard to find spam and corned beef on the ave but they have it here at H mart!The employees are kind and will gladly point you in the direction of the stuff youre looking for, and the one thing that always makes me happy is their quality check on products. Every time I purchase eggs from them the employees can be relied on to open your carton, check for cracks and offer you a new one even when I say its okay! (Just means itll be the first egg I use when I get home 😉)

I got okra , red grapes , green beans , yellow corn , lime juice , avocado , broccoli , mushrooms , Ginger , garlic, oil & vinegar bottle , total cost was $25.61 .I like Indian veggies over there like okra , raddish , chow chow , they were packed in right size & quantity for me , this store has everything like dairy , veggies , cleaning stuff , laundry , cooking utensils , coffee mug , frozen foods , desserts , snacks , customer service was good , store is neat & clean , no restrooms available in the store ,they also mentioned in receipt returns must be made within 7 days of original purchase on the receipt , meat fish produce and dairy products must be returned within 2 hours , products must be in original condition for return

At first I found HMart UW very limited with mostly prepared foods. Then I was told there is an upstairs. I gave it another visit. Found the secret stairway and found a wealth of Asian ingredients.

They are selling the expired items! It is not my first time which means they are not correcting their faults. (I bought this item on the photo last week.)

A great place to shop for all your Asian food supply needs in the U District.

Its a great place for Asian groceries- they have a surprisingly large selection for being a more hole-in-the-wall location. If you live in the U District, youll find most of what you need for your cooking needs here for a pretty reasonable price. Parking is a bit tough, though.

Probably 1/5 the size of the one in Lynnwood, but have all the essentials that I was looking for including genuine KF94 masks made in Korea.

Fun to visit and explore; lots of foods, snacks, sweets and everything else like gofts and toys. Make sure you visit second floor.

Small selection but convenient

Tiny place, they don’t have any of the regular hot items, not well stocked, and I mean there’s not even a proper frozen seafood section with shrimps, etc that’s usable.Do not recommend, definitely won’t be back.

Its small so the selection is just as small, but in a pinch its got all the basics.

Beware of the price tags and what they actually charge. And when I brought this up to the cashier, his response was very rude.Looking through the previous reviews, it looks like this is not uncommon at this store.

Mostly processed and quick food.

I’ll never go to this store til they would not scan one item twice on total. If I have not noticed today, I would have been charged 30 dollars for cashier’s carelessness. Or it is possible they are intentional to scan items over again. Who knows? By the way, the price tag in this store sucks, and the price in this store is much higher than supermarket.

Definitely hard to social distance here (and to be fair in the U district in general) but there is always a good selection at this H mart that keeps bringing me back.

I am so happy they opened this location close to campus! Can actually get a variety of groceries, including a phenomenal (and cheap!) selection of fresh produce and mushrooms. Apparently they get produce delivered daily, and do sell out of it before it goes bad.

Very compact store.

This place send tiny and cramped, since I grew up in the suburbs, where HMart can be speaking and huge. But they still have a lot of my favorite nostalgic Korean foods, as well as a decent selection of ingredients so I can make some things at home.They do seem to have more prepared foods and things that are easy to store and cook with, rather than being a full grocery, which makes sense given the neighborhood and space constraints.

Great prices and variety. there are western staples like flour, sugar, salt, beer. Then there is a lot of Asian things (an entire aisle devoted to soy sauce..). Couldnt have asked for a better corner store though. They even have most produce you could want. 9/10 overall.

H Mart in Lynnwood is a regular stop for us. Knowing about the Hmart in thr U district is a true boon.

It would be nice if they actually greeted customers once they walk in the door. Felt like they just stare at customers as they walk in and then hawk them around this tiny store. Better manners, better customer service would be appreciated!

It looks like a small corner store but youll be able to find almost all basic, staple Korean groceries nonetheless. It was cheaper than other grocers in Seattle, and their meat products were great.

They sell milk which expires the next day! Watch the expiration date carefully.

Not a huge selection of produce, and the store is super cramped. If youre looking for bagged, vacuum sealed, canned or bottled goods, then go here as the place has a pretty good selection.

This H Mart is super convenient as a UW student in west campus I buy at least half my foodstuffs here as well as other things like cleaning supplies and things Id usually buy at target but am too lazy to walk the 2 extra blocks. Usually also have pretty good produce.

H Mart is the most amazing store! The staff is so friendly and very helpful. The selection of the most amazing food is phenomenal. I love shopping here!

Very small store. About the size of a gas station store, maybe a little smaller. But has a great selection of korean spices, sauces, essential frozen and refrigerated good. Has a great snack, drinks, and ramen selection. Found everything I needed, even korean white radish!

This place has good produce and everyday staples. I get lunch here often. they have a wide variety of premade foods that are good on the go. They have liquor too!! The staff is nice enough and things are easy to find in the store.

A good place for Asian foods. You can even find pork slices here, for cooking hot pot. Clean, good in service, and lots of choices of foods. There are also good Asian style of choices for the to-go lunch boxes. A small corner for using meals and free water adds to its value.

Great store. Produce looks great and even for a smaller store the selection is great. Dont forget to go upstairs.

Good grocery store targeting college students, could do better with having a larger produce section and actually have a seafood section. That said, it is great to have an Asian grocery close to the university, especially all the instant noodles. Wish there could be a larger deli section for quick grab and go meals.

Brilliant fresh fish

It is definitely nice to have a store that carries Asian grocery near by (not to mention most of the items sold here are Korean), but do not expect this one to be the same as other H mart locations or Uwajimaya, because it is not. They have a wide selection of instant food, snacks, and drinks as well as some deli food, which is very nice. However, other stuff like meat and produces are limited here, and you might have to go some another place for that.As a side note, this place is freezing cold since there’s no door on any of the freezers..

Super compact H Mart location in the University District. This location is really convenient if you dont want to go all the way out to Lynnwood, and the parking isnt crazy expensive from what we found, but people havent been going out as much as usual. Parking is kind of limited, but my boyfriend has managed to park his camper van nearby so it can be done. The store itself isnt very big, but has two stories to make up for lack of square footage. Feels reminiscent of stores in Korea or Japan that Ive been to, even down to a hot drink machine at the register with canned coffees ready and waiting on cold days. Lots of tasty baked goods to tempt you upon entering, too. The meat weve had from here was good, though maybe a little expensive. Not a huge assortment of options for some items, so if youre looking for a very specific variety of kimchi they might not have it. I really like ponytail kimchi with young radish but didnt see any here. Overall Im happy with what I found here, and prices didnt seem too much different, but Ill likely go to the larger location or one of their competitors in Lynnwood next time Im out North instead. Fun people watching here, though! And definitely an interesting and lively neighborhood worth checking out when society isnt in pandemic panic mode.

They pack so many useful things into such a small place! I really wish this had been here back when I lived in the U-District! Got a portable butane stove for nabe, and it was very reasonably priced.

A delightful if slightly compact version of the store I love so much back home in NY. Two floors is actually a wonderful, space saving concept. Their snack selection is wonderful, and their prices are good too! I got a few face masks for $1.50 each, and you know the Korean ones are the best! Bought four people a few rounds of snacks and total price came to $11 and change. I wish they would expand to include the incredibly diverse, huge produce section Im used to with H Mart, but with the space limitations they have this is no doubt not possible, not right now anyway. I look forward to the day it is, though, H Mart has the potential to be everyones go to grocery store!
