Jim at Metropolitan tried to get my washer from another location but couldn’t. He set expectations when it would come in and he was dead on. Speed Queen is worth waiting for and I know that there are a lot of factors in play in today’s world. The delivery time was a few hours early and the install was great. I couldn’t be more pleased with the effort and professionalism of their entire team. We just need a little extra patience with manufacturers which really paid off here. I highly recommend Metropolitan. Thank you!

I first bought a washer and dryer through Home Depot. Everything went wrong! I cancelled that order and placed a new order for the same appliances through Metropolitan. Not only was Metropolitan less expensive, they got the appliances delivered sooner and installed quickly and professionally. I would absolutely recommend doing business with these people!

Cannot say more great things about Metropolitan. We had just purchased a new home without a washer dryer. I ordered a washer/dryer from Costco 2 months before we needed it. After months of back and forth and deliveries that wouldn’t even show up, I cancelled the order and instead went with Metropolitan - and I’m SO glad I did. Ryan was so helpful over the phone and helped me find the right unit for us. He even helped us measure the appropriate rooms and stairways to make sure that the appliances would fit. Metropolitan was able to deliver my washer dryer within the week. The installation crew was professional, courteous, and very friendly. They completed the install very quickly, and even gave us an orientation as to how it worked. Will never go back to big box stores for appliances ever again - I will be a Metropolitan customer for life!

Our fridge was in the process of dying.I shopped at metropolitan and got patient and thorough help trying to find a good fridge that would both fit in my space and be what I wanted. It wasn’t easy because my space was just a bit too short for most new refrigerator of 18 cubic feet or greater.We did find one model that would work and they had just one in stock in stainless so I took it and paid with my card.But the next day my wife and I went shopping around town and we found another better choice (larger taking advantage of the few extra inches of width we had available and required a slight modification of our cabinets)Once we realized we had a better choice we called back to metropolitan to see if they could get us that fridge in stainless. They could but they would have to order it and would take up to a month. I was trying to find where to rent a fridge in the meanwhile.At metropolitan they told me that they wanted me to get what I needed that was their number one concern so if I could find my fridge in stock somewhere and avoid renting that’s what I should do. They would rather have everything work out for me as well as possible rather than get the sale!That is what ended up happening. I can’t think of a better thing I could say about a company. I can also say that you get great personal service and guidance you might have a hard time finding elsewhere. Prices were also competitive. I will definitely return there next time I need an appliance.

Our fridge went out and we spent days going from one box store to the other and even tried Sears, Very difficult to fine a counter depth fridge with the options we wanted. I decided to check the web in the Seattle area. Within ten minutes of talking with David C we not only found the counter depth we looking for , he had it in stock and scheduled the installation two days later. Mario and Alex were on time and very professional. They treated us and our home with the careful respect. They even took the old with unit them. Everything start to finish was handled professionally. Had all of my questions answered when picking out the appliances we wanted and a great breakdown of the differences in brands and models. I felt like I was able to make a more educated decision because of it.Installation went without a hitch. Efficiently got everything set up and ran us through a couple features and basic maintenance (filter location, etc) after a successful test. I would give this place 0 star if I could.We bought a home that comes with a wine fridge from this place. The wine fridge broke down within warranty period. However Metropolitan Appliance made it as difficult as can be for us to return the broken fridge and obtain refund. It took us more than 6 months of emailing and calling for them to finally come and pick up the broken fridge. It has been 2 weeks since the fridge was picked up and we still havent been able to obtain the refund from them. This is not a place I would recommend if you want continuous high quality service from a trusted vendor.

My landlord purchases a fridge from them and got one ever so slightly too tall. The delivery guys were great and made it work anyway by cutting off the metal feet 🙂

From start to finish, purchasing our washer and dryer from Metropolitan Appliance was by far the best experience weve had purchasing a home appliance. From ordering, to delivery, to installation, it couldnt have gone easier or smoother. In particular, the installation team did a superb job removing our old washer and dryer from a particularly tight space in our finished basement, without any damage to the walls. As well, they brought in the new machines without any damage and had them installed within minutes. Metropolitan Appliance will certainly be the first place we look for any future appliances.

We chose Metropolitan Appliance after a really negative post-purchase experience with another large appliance retailer and Im so very glad we did. The service was excellent- both during purchase and after. Particularly afterwards as we had issues post-purchase (the Bosch review is for another place) and they did all they could to take care of it. Every strep of the process with Metropolitan Appliance went very smoothly. I knew which dishwasher I wanted, and I couldn’t find it in stock anywhere. Finally, I used the chat function on Metropolitan’s website, and the salesperson was able to locate the model that I wanted and let me know when it could be delivered and installed. It was the same price as big box retailers. I then purchased the dishwasher online, and the salesperson called me right away to schedule installation just a few days later. The installation crew, which is employed directly by Metropolitan, was polite and helpful. My kitchen has a very sloped floor, so it was challenging for them to get the dishwasher level. They did it without complaining, and everything looks and functions great. They also told me how well Metropolitan treats them, which made me feel even better about my purchase. I would definitely recommend them if you need an appliance!

This is my second experience with Metropolitan Appliance since purchasing a home in Seattle in March 2021. This purchase (a microwave and a washer/dryer set) took longer because none of the items I wanted were in stock, but Amy chatted with me while I was shopping online, explained everything, wrote me an estimate, and sold me the appliances on the phone. This was excellent because I knew exactly what I wanted and didn’t want to go into a showroom. She kept in touch throughout the process, including when there were manufacturing/delivery delays. Then, even though I was supposed to pick up the microwave in the showroom when it came in, she arranged for it to be delivered along with the W/D installation! Installers were professional, quick, and friendly. The W/D are perfectly level, despite my non-level floors. I highly recommend Metropolitan Appliance and will continue to shop there!

Their customer service rating should be negative, but all I can do is to give them one star.I went there to buy a washer, on Sunday, and Wes overcharged me $55. He said that I get a refund on Monday and was suprised when I asked for a receipt for a due refund. When I called the store on Tue and asked why the refund is not shown on my credit card, they said that they processed my refund and gave me elaborate explanation about money moving from their bank to my credit card, and said to wait for 2-3 days. On Thu, I called and told them that if I dont see the refund on Friday, Ill be cancelling delivery. They were not polite and I had to raise my voice and repeat it. It helped, and they found out that they need my credit card info to process my refund. I came to the store and cancelled the whole purchase. I was lucky to bump into this $55 overcharge and waste almost a week. I saved myself from being their customer and client to repair the appliance.Do I need to add that they did not bother to apologize?

We learned our lesson the hard way and will never purchase appliances elsewhere again. Great customer service from start to finish! Thank you!

During the pandemic, it is hard to find appliances. This store really came through for me, getting me an actual appliance, which is no small feat these days. One thing people sometimes overlook as well when shopping is a stores delivery/installation crew. Ive had bad experiences elsewhere, but Metropolitan Appliances crew was stellar. No damage to my home or appliances and very courteous, on-time, and friendly. Like it used to be in the old days.

I needed a new dishwasher ASAP and was able to find what I wanted on the website with express delivery specified and fifteen minutes later Metropolitan called to set up delivery, checked to see if I also needed install (yes please!), confirmed what the set up was in my house so theyd have the right hoses and connections, and scheduled service for the next day. The team that came out was professional and courteous, knew exactly what they were doing, took away the old appliance and installed and tested the new and then cleaned up after themselves. Masks/distancing precautions were all in place, including acceptance of delivery by a text link. Im so glad this shop was recommended to me, and Im not recommending them to everyone else. Shop local, and get the service you deserve!

It is not easy to find an appliance store that makes the whole buying experience good and easy. The person that helped us buy our refrigerator was not pushy, but open to give us recommendations. And the delivery service was a 10 stars!!!: they arrive on time, were extremely kind and did the installation pretty fast. We’ll keep choosing this store for any purchase we need for our home.

I worked with Mark, a manager. He was very knowledgeable and helped focus up the decision making. The guy at the warehouse was also very helpful. He broke down the box tp help me load it, so I didnt have to bother with all the packaging. He also provided a 5 foot waterline to connect the dishwasher up, saving me another stop ay the hardware store.

Today we had a undercabinet wall stove installed. Although the measurements of the old and new stove matched, the overhanging tile on our kitchen counter blocked the nested installation of the new stove. Our amazing installers, Mario and Juan, went out of their way to ensure that we had a perfect installation. They developed a plan with me to remove the base of the cabinet, rebuild a new base, and install the stove. They called their office to make sure their other customers were covered, brought in supplies and spent several hours ensuring that we had a perfect installation. This was on top of excellent communication about the scheduling of the delivery, calling when they were 15 minutes out, and being super friendly and professional throughout. Totally trustworthy. In addition, our experience in the showroom with Dan was an informative and no pressure experience.This is our second experience buying from Metropolitan appliance. Several years ago we bought a dishwasher and had them install it. During the installation the drainage was configured similar to our old dishwasher. After two months the new dishwasher stopped working. I called Metropolitan appliance and their customer service was outstanding. They were empathetic and solution oriented. They sent out a repair team who figured out that the drainage needed to be reconfigured which they did gratis. Ironically, although this was technically an installation error, the professional , responsive and empathetic manner in which they took responsibility and fixed the issue impressed me much more than a bump-free installation. Character is revealed when things don’t go smoothly. I strongly recommend this business.

Ive bought 2 sets of washers and dryers from Metropolitan in the past and had great service so they were my first choice when I needed a fridge replacement during the COVID pandemic. I went online with some measurements and they gave me an idea of what they had in stock via online chat. My family drove down to the store and Charlotte who had helped me online walked us through options and was really helpful at checking availability for us. Delivery wasnt available until over a week out which was tough (2 little kids and summer during a pandemic make a fridge pretty essential) but she said shed try to squeeze us in. We ended up getting a Bosch fridge for a really great price (they will price match other brick and mortar stores) and they were able to deliver it a week and a half sooner than expected. The delivery was super smooth and it turns out one of the delivery people was practically my neighbor. Overall great experience and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend or buy again from Metropolitan Appliance.

They will advertise items they do not have, charge you and schedule a pick up and then wont be able to find it when you show up to get it. On top of that have no clue what happened. Avoid.

Thanks to Dan Bach and the rest of the team for the above and beyond customer service! When our old fridge died, we bought a beautiful new standard-size KitchenAid from Dan. However, after seeing it in the space we realized we really needed a counter-depth fridge. The sales team fielded our panic call and calmly told us to hang on to the loaner for as long as it took to get the replacement delivered. Now we have the right size fridge and our kitchen is back to full strength!

We had a horror of an experience at Best Buy getting a new dishwasher. We were delayed by almost a week, and no one cared about whether or not we had our dishwasher installed. There were never any updates from them. So we cancelled and contacted Metropolitan. I spoke to Charlotte who was friendly, professional and who went the extra mile to make sure delivery was speedy. We ordered the new dishwasher online, and Charlotte made sure the details were all correct. The dishwasher arrived as scheduled, and the installers did a wonderful job as well. While updating my kitchen, Metropolitan helped me find a beautiful new oven and microwave combination. The staff helped guide me with answers to all my questions including those about electrical and gas placement and oven fit. All the staff were helpful and easy to talk to. Install day was where Metropolitan really showed up. The fit of my cabinets required some changes and their expert installers spent extra time and care to resolve the situation. They worked carefully to get a perfect fit for both the oven and the microwave, staying til nearly 8pm to get things right. I’m very appreciative of their help.

It has been such a pleasure working with Metropolitan, and specifically with Jim Freedman. We were in need of a new cooktop because the old one was leaking gas. I called Metropolitan - they worked with us regarding selection, installation, and payment. The crew was on time, personable, and extremely efficient. They got us the best price on our new wall oven by hunting for manufacturers offers, then encouraging us to wait a couple of weeks to take advantage of the savings.Communication was excellent, they use an app and phone service for scheduling and delivery confirmation, and their installers were punctual, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I use this company repeatedly (refrigerator/washer/dryer). Always available to take orders and get deliveries out sometimes the next day. Prices might be $20-$50 more but its worth having a seamless delivery in a small time frame from a small local company.

Somewhat frustrating as we bought a washer dryer set for a new house on September 7 with an anticipated initial delivery date of Oct 2 or 3rd.We checked the stock to see if it was in stock as that was a priority. We were informed that it was. We shopped around and then came back because we felt that we were getting a good deal. We double checked with the agent to make sure it was in stock.Unfortunately, October 3rd got delayed to October 10th delivery, which again got delayed to October 17th delivery. Washer finally came but dryer is still up in the air with no good estimate of when the dryer will come.A September 7th purchase with no good expectation of a delivery date on October 20th is not a good business practice.I feel like our agent is doing his best, but Metropolitan should not be selling washer dryers that they do not feel that they can deliver in a reasonable time frame.

They offer excellent service. They were at our place to replace the bad dishwasher and the technicians were so friendly, courteous and took time to explain everything they were gonna do. They respectfully asked for help for whatever they needed me to do (power switch). After the installation was done, they stayed to test that all is fine and no leak.They proceeded to give me a summary of what I need to know about the new appliance and handed me the manual.The only reason I’m withholding a star is because of the lateness. The installers were Mario and Juan, and both were extremely meticulous while doing a difficult installation, including their carefully cleaning old grease from the original wiring before attaching the new range hood. They left the kitchen work area clean and detailed. You can be sure we will use Metropolitan Appliance in the future for our household appliance needs, and we will in particular ask for Mario and Juan as the installers.

Skip the box stores and go here! We were looking to replace our washer/dryer and had done some research. We thought we knew what we were looking for, but the team at Metro Appliances knew so much about all the options and recommended a different model. Delivery was easy to schedule. We purchased on Saturday and had the new washer/dryer on Thursday. Install was great, and they took away our old units for a minimal fee.

Absolutely the best experience Ive ever had buying something. The salesman had exceptional knowledge of ovens and talked me through all the details I wanted to know, yet gave zero pressure the entire time. Then when it came time to install the oven, there were several complications due to how the previous one was installed. That didnt phase the technician who was very careful as he had to make cuts to the cabinets among other things. In the end, it was installed with a perfect fit. VERY impressive! I got a really good price too, but I would also say, even if you can find a slightly better price at a big box store, I would highly recommend buying from Metropolitan Applicances. You get your monies worth!

Went in looking for a new dishwasher. Found one I liked and they got it to me the same week! Good delivery experience and friendly sales staff. Would recommend!

Everything from sales to installation was a pleasure. Aaron Freedman and his sales staff were super helpful and accomodating. The installers showed up on time, the installation of my new and removal of my old range and fridge went smooth, swift and cleanly. José and Boris were friendly and professional and took great care to protect my brand new hardwood floors!

We bought at Metropolitan because of the many, many incredible reviews. We could never have known how lucky we were to have purchased from them. Within 2 months our brand new $4500 range broke. We had a repair person out to fix the right front burner that would not light. A month later another burner. A few months of relief and then the oven element broke. A month later, THE SAME burner broke again. Then another burner. We had 7 repairs in the first 1.2 years. At every step we had Metropolitan on our side. The pushed the horrible customer service at the oven manufacturer to help us, to no avail. After 6 repairs we had had enough but didnt know what to do. Metropolitan kept in touch with us and pushed the company to provide a new range, to no avail. Just today they called us and said that THEY are providing a full refund for our stove!! This is not something they should have to do- in fact they do not have to do this. They are really this good. I cant imagine if we had bought elsewhere. We would be in this alone. Hopefully you get a great appliance that gives you zero issues! But in that 1 in 1000 situation I hope you have bought from Metropolitan because they will not let you down. Happy Customer:)

Great experience.Have a very vertical townhouse and delivery/installation was key. We had just been through three attempted deliveries with Best Buy (even having done due diligence with photos and measurements) and they failed. This group coordinated, were upfront, better (fridge) or same (dw) prices. Salesperson, Skyler worked with delivery install manager and in the end, they made it look easy.At this point we knew what we wanted, so all communication was by cell and email. Will use these folks again...

Purchasing was a breeze. Salesman was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to get the features I wanted at closeout pricing. Saved me a bundle! Delivery went precisely as planned. The installation crew did a fabulous job in tight spaces, carefully removing and reinstalling our door and making adjustments to fit my storage needs. Minor cleanup required after old appliances removed and there were some water spills on carpet we were able to blot mostly dry before new appliances installed. Then a little more after. But then who puts carpet in a laundry room? Hopefully one day we’ll upgrade to tile.

Excellent customer service and extremely knowledgable. Ive spoken with Mark (Marc?) several times now regarding microwaves and dishwashers. He was always patient and courteous, and I really appreciated his help and advice.

I went to several other appliance stores before getting to Metropolitan Appliance. They definitely stood out from the rest. They didnt try to hard sell me on anything I didnt need and gave me straightforward opinions when I asked for it. There was zero pressure to purchase the day of.They price matched what I brought in from another appliance store, and scheduled installation based on my schedule. I had my new oven in place in less than a week. I highly recommend talking to Mark, he was extremely helpful, straight forward, and efficient. Thanks for making a big purchase easy!
