Stopped in for a late brunch with my wife. The atmosphere is very quiet and homey with a rustic look to the place. The egg and cheese bagel was very good. Slightly salty. If youre sensitive to salt just let them know. Coffee was very good. I got the campfire latte and my wife got the mango cappuccino. The coffee itself isnt very bitter and has a fruity taste to it.My only 2 problems. The barista forgot the bacon on both of our sandwiches, although I dont believe we were charged for them, so I cant complain too much. And if you get the mango in anything I highly recommend using a non dairy milk. Unfortunately the real fruit curdled the milk. Thats not the business fault though. Just a heads up for future patrons.
A little difficult to find but absolutely worth it once you do! The warm and eclectic atmosphere is very inviting. I had the matcha with oat milk and it was delicious. Angelina is one of the kindest baristas I’ve ever met. We even got to chat about art for bit and our conversation definitely made my day.
This place makes a mean cappuccino, the staff wear masks and are SO friendly and sweet.Ive become pretty anxious about going anywhere in public since the pandemic started, but this place is clean and makes me feel much less nervous about sitting down in a coffee shop for the first time in over a year.HEADS UP: parking is AWFUL. On sundays, you can park in the back of the building where the bank parking is, they wont tow you on a sunday. Hope this helps someone not scramble and panic as much as I did trying to find parking 🥺
Nice hidden out-of-the-way place inside a joins the art gallery you. If I was a student in Scranton I could definitely see myself hanging out here.
Exquisite, just a lovely little coffee shop in walking distance from the Hilton! Good people, great coffee, awesome little place you must check it out!
The staff at Adezzo work hard to make delicious coffee and tea creations and provide some of the best pastries in Scranton, as well as savory options. The relaxing atmosphere of Adezzo, with high ceilings and brick walls, makes it a great workspace, either inside or outside on the patio. Their open mic nights and live music and art on First Friday make the cafe part of Scranton’s culture as well. While catering to a younger crowd, Adezzo provides a great atmosphere to enjoy coffee with friends or get some work done for everyone.
I just had there matches and croissant it was nice and amazing!
Great atmosphere and friendly staff the drinks were delightful!
Awesome coffee and pastries, courteous staff ⚕️
Hidden in the alley directly in front of the Hilton hotel with nice ambiance, fairly good amount of seating, good service... they dont have a grill the eggs are made in the microwave.. which for some reason doesnt sit right with me... even though the eggs did taste fine.. I also got the cheddar chive which was a bit too dense and not as much flavor as Id like to have.. the cortado was good but not amazing.. I think more so personal taste preference related. Wifi worked without a hiccup. Id definitely come back.
Awesome environment to relax and delicious coffee/matcha drinks. I wish they were open later!!
Still requires mask for absolutely no reason. Despite the science saying otherwise. Dont eat at establishments that have useless requirements.
Very dog friendly and had great coffee
Cozy little coffee place with a warm cozy vibe. I like that it’s kinda “off the beaten path” back in the ally. Great cup of coffee also!
It was closed when I stopped bySo I missed it but heard great things and I’m looking forward to try it next time
What a cute place! We were in the mood for a small bite I’m just gonna say OMG...Good coffee, sandwiches, muffins and all kinds of stuff all day long. Actually the only place in the area to get decent coffee
A little expensive, not the best of staff, very hipster oriented.
Really enjoyed our drinks and the service couldnt have been better or made me feel more welcome.
Adezzo comes from the fusion of two Italian words: Adesso meaning in the moment and Intermezzo, a break or intermission; Adezzo brings a constant reminder to live in the moment.Quick Fact: Adezzo is owned by two doctors, Drs. Paulino and Jecmenica who met many years ago in a doctor residency program in New York City. In 2010, Dr. Paulino moved to Scranton and three years later came Dr. Jecmenica.Adezzo is one of my favorite cafés hands down. Tucked away in an alleyway, its one of Scrantons hidden gems. It has a beautiful, industrially artsy look, all while having a warm cozy vibe. This is good place to come a catch up with a friend or get some work done during the week. Many college students come here to study. The environment is very pleasing and sometimes there is live music on the weekends. When the weather is nice out, there is outdoor seating and, at night, Edison-styled string lights keep the atmosphere warm and welcoming. There are hidden selections that are not on the menu such as the London Fog, which I recommend, with honey to give it a sweet spin. The café also serves breakfast and lunch items, including bagels, muffins, soups, salads and sandwiches, as well as cakes and pastries. If youre new to Scranton or have been here all your life, welcome to Scrantons Best Kept Secret.
Chaider and macrons are spectacular!
Nice hidden spot. Similar to Northern Light thats on the other side of the block.
A true jewel found in an unexpected city block. The ambience was lively and the staff very friendly, proper, and detailed. The food was fantastic.
The bagels were toasted twice, which was great. The cream cheese was on the side (though we didnt request it that way) and I wish I would have asked for extra. The chai was delicious.
Latte fell short...I mean literally fell short. I knew it felt a bit light but this latte was half foam and half everything else. Disappointing to say the least. I will see if I can post a pic.
Great spot! Great customer service. Great barista!!
Worst chai latte I ever had. It was just milk with alot of sugar....Below average cappicuno and latte coffee. Macrons not good. Only thing I liked was fudge brownie. Not sure how this place was rated 4.7 on google.
Service here was painfully slow and it wasnt even that busy. The coffee was mediocre at best and significantly over priced for the portions. The breakgast sandwich was good but expensive. There are better places that offer a better product nearby.
Great spot to enjoy coffee and relax, get some work done, or just hang out with friends. In great location to walk Scranton afterwards.
This is a hidden gem. I felt like I was walking down a hidden alley in Harry Potter or something. From the art of creatures scaling the building and peeking in the windows on the back side of the building to how this little coffee shop just appears on the side with giant buildings around it. Theres definitely a serene and magical aura to the place before you even step inside. Then once inside you cant help but to be taken back by the beauty and uniqueness of everything. Theres so much hidden detail in everything here. And its pet friendly! Theres a glass container of dog treats in the area where you add extras to your coffee. Theres many options between tea and coffee and even baked goods. I got a pumpkin pie coffee and a coconut macaroon. Both were amazing. And I loved all the little extras they had to add to your drink instead of the usual sugar and half and half. I took advantage and added cinnamon to my pumpkin coffee ☕.I went with a friend and my 4 month old son and it was very relaxing. My son was mesmerized by the soft music and relaxing atmosphere. Ill definitely be back.
I love it here. the location is great and i love the vibes of the whole place. the iced coffee and muffins are delicious! the workers are very polite!
Great atmosphere..clean...
Great coffee, delicious cake, friendly service, and nice atmosphere. First time here but won’t be the last!
Love it here. Best coffee in Scranton.
Great mocha!
Excellent service and atmosphere. Amazingly scrumptious delights too!!
Cozy little coffee shop. The Blondie sample was delicious. I tried the Iced Matcha Latte because I had just heard about it and it was interesting and good. The Brownie Cheesecake was good, but I would get the Blondie next time.
Best place to grab a coffee in downtown Scranton. Very laid back and chill aesthetic. Requires a little walk as it is located in an alley with no immediate parking, but being tucked in the alley also helps keep the crowds down. Staff has always been very friendly with a regular rotation, so if you frequent enough you will start to get to know them. Definitely more suited to coming to socialize or relax vs working, as there are only four low top desks to work, and plugs are scarce between them. During the college semesters these tables go quick and early to the students of the many near by colleges, and they do not move for hours. The rest of the seating is either couch or a long shared communal high top with those modern cute-but-super-uncomfortable-metal-chairs-that-you-can-picture-in-your-head. My only complaint is that it shares a open entrance with the adjacent gallery, and there are occasions where people who appear to be more so patrons or friends of the gallery instead of Adezzo comes over to sit and socialize with friends and due to their comfort level tend to treat the coffee shop as more of their living room by speaking loudly, playing music or videos loudly from laptops for hours at a time. The food is great, and the bagels and cream cheese cannot be beat locally. Recommendation: everything bagel with salmon cream cheese.
Lovely cafe in a quiet location, fantastic for a relaxing stopover. Coffee is provided by local roasters, and is pretty decent. As an espresso their blend leaves something to be desired but it works well in milk drinks. Selection of pastries and cakes looked great, however a little on the expensive side. Service was very friendly.
Great place, cute outdoors. Salmon bagel was just a mixed spread, but otherwise good food and drinks (tea & coffee).
Needed to stop for a few hours on a road trip and do some work, this coffee shop was clean and with a relaxing vibe. The staff was cheery and quick. Would definitely stop in again.
LGBT+ FRIENDLY! Love the owner and this place! Drinks and desserts are yummy! Nice cute little cafe! Love this place
Great place to get coffee and to sit with other people. Very homie and chill vibes.
One of my favorite cafe shops in the area. It has great music, seats inside and outside, and amazing staff. 10/10 recommend
Very nice hotel. Clean and modern rooms, nice and quiet. Facilities are top notch, food is really good. Only improvement I can recommend is to be able to turn room tstat down below 68. Id even pay an extra $10 for that option.
Its a great place with a very warm vibe and trust me you need those sort of vibes nowadays in Scranton. I go there regularly to study and work. I have always found the atmosphere very motivating and inspirational, theres always something going on. They have amazing coffee as well, I can speak for the latte it was great but the serving portion could have been better. Just being picky here but I love this place. If youre in Scranton and you have some work to do on your laptop or are in the mood to read a book or two. This is the place to be.
Nice eclectic atmosphere. Staff is very engaging and knowledgeable about the products!
Very nice modern alternative atmosphere. Great selection of alternative/vegan foods/beverages. Low-key back alley coffee shop
Friendly staff, great products and service. The atmosphere here is incomparable when it comes to a downtown get away.
One of my favorite places in Scranton. Good service, great coffee and very nice atmosphere. Very cozy and apart from coffee you can enjoy beautiful paintings on the walls 👍🏻
Trendy little coffee shop. Definitely a cozy feel and feels tucked away and hidden but also modern and trendy. Recommended for coffee date, business meeting, or for reading a book in a quiet coffee shop.
Cute little coffee shop with delicious lattes.
Great service and selection. Cool music and lots of art and entertainment.
Went to hear some local musicians (Crashing Aperture) who are friends. This place has a unique, new age atmosphere with excellent coffees. Very relaxing. A little tricky to get to because the entrance is in an alley way. Just watch for their sign.
I am hoping my next visit will be better. My first impression with this urban coffee shop is not great. It almost feels like they are trying too hard to have a hipster hole in a wall feel. The wait times are a few minutes even when you are the only person in line.I will say that their coffee is better than Starbucks. But thats not a terribly high bar to begin with. But at $6 for a large, I would hope so.
Savor the flavor. An experience worth staying for. Truly a must-visit for anyone.
We love this place. Vegan options, friendly people, & nice atmosphere. A bit pricey, but we feel its worth it once in a while.
Great little local shop with a warm ambiance, and unique decor. Monthly rotation of art on the walls, and an active participant in Scrantons own first Friday event. The coffee is locally roasted through Electric City Roasting Company, a well known local supplier. They serve delicious espresso and brewed beverages, along with a variety of tastey treats.
Chill awesome vibe/atmosphere. Good for dates and casual chatting with friends. May be a little hard to find (its down an alley-way) lol, but it definitely is one of the hidden gems of Scranton City.
Cozy, mostly quiet, and social events throughout every month. Check out the open Mic night the third Wednesday of the month. Hope to she you there.
I was visiting from Delaware and found Adezzo. This place is beautiful. Its by far the best kept secret in Scranton. The cold brew and lattes are incredible!
Awesome place to chill and drink the best coffee ever!! Definitely recommend!!😎
Really love the crowd atmosphere here and the coffee and cakes are great
Nice atmosphere, very good coffee. Satisfied customer.
Good coffee and atmosphere. Nice spot to get work done.
Cozy and warm place on wintery days a perfect place to think over coffee. I normally go for cappuccino and it hasn’t disappointed ever😊
Best iced coffee in town. Slowly adding more items to their drink and food menu. Coolest atmosphere of any coffee shop in town.
Adezzo has a great atmosphere! very trendy and comfortable.Mary, the barista, makes amazing dirty chais (hot or iced) and is a lovely girl. They have great cake as well. The only thing they could improve is parking can be a little confusing/hard to find.
A very urban cafe... very appealing. Not a large selection.. but what they have is good.
Great coffee spot nestled off the main streets. It has a great ambience and feel. Excellent drinks, friendly staff.
Friendly baristas, amazing atmosphere, and great coffee. Its also pet friendly! Its my favorite coffee shop in the area.
Great vibe in this place! Coffee is good. Nice spot to chill and work
What a lovely place to get a great cup of coffee . Ive read a national article that stated that Adezzo is the best coffee shop in Pennsylvania, and I wouldnt disagree.
A friend showed me Adezzo and I have fallen in love with it. Wonderful cake, fresh food, and cider that I couldn’t live without. I always have a sense of warmth and welcoming vibes in it. Enjoyable live music (although I wish they had more diverse acts, i’m waiting for a punk show) Also, a great place to show artwork. Sometimes its a bit crowded and loud, but you can expect that at any place. Its a quality place to sit down with friends and have a cup of joe.
I havent been to this place in so long but theyre still as lovely as ever. Their cake selection has gotten bigger too!
Cute, over priced. The Im trying too hard but dont want to look like Im trying too hard crowed will feel right at home.
Coffee was good and the atmosphere is amazing, just not sure why the barista was so rude to us.
Stopped in for coffee this morning. It was my first time here. I waited about 10 minutes for the barista to prepare drinks for other customers, which was fine. I said hello when she looked up at me and I was ignored. Maybe she didnt hear me. I was the only one waiting in line. Three college girls came in several minutes behind me and were looking at the menu. When the barista was done making drinks, she went up to them and took their order before mine. Obviously I was offended so I left and went to Northern for quick service. Thanks for wasting my time! Ill make sure my friends dont come here.
Personal favorite coffee shop in town! love the space, brick walls, high ceilings and great coffee!
Adezzo is one of my favorite places to enjoy a nice cup of tea and a dessert. The atmosphere is what makes this place - theres lots of exposed brick, industrial-inspired furnishings, and cozy seating thats perfect for conversation. The macarons and desserts are my favorite things on the menu (try the tiramisu - its AMAZING). Youd think the more group seating would be odd, but its actually a cool feature. You can be as singular or as social as youd like. And the outdoor seating? A MUST in nice weather.
My chocolate PB banana smoothie thing sucked mega weiner, coffee was tasty thou
Super friendly place with great coffee and desserts - and treats for the four-legged customers!
Probably my favorite coffee shop in Scranton. Small, intimate setting well made product.
The coffee served to me here has always been super and I am a coffee person. Plus the environment in here is great for a nice meet up with a friend or to just relax.
Legit espresso. Worth a stop in Scranton.
Great atmosphere. Best mocha Ive ever had
Nice atmosphere... Great coffee... Great music!
Beautiful place with an awesome vibe.. Also everything there tastes amazing..
Its a good place to study
Service coffee and food is amazing!! The atmosphere is so cool you feel like you are at the Village in New York. You must stop there when your in the downtown area.
