OH EM GEE!! This lighting extravaganza of a place is simply incredible! We had brought in our retro gold lamp to get repaired, just by going off a Google Map search.. We walked in and were greeted by 3 very friendly employees, and they all seemed to be very knowledgeable about what was needed to fix our funky lamp. Then we proceeded to walk about the store.. what an amazing assortment of lighting options! I have never in my life seen anything like it!! We will definitely be coming here for our lighting needs in the future :) This place is wicked cool. I wish I had taken more pictures...

If you need fans or lights this is the place. Staff so helpful and on things, knowing products and getting you exactly what is required. Highly recommend si many choices.

We were referred to Valley Light Gallery by our contractor when we started planning for a full house remodel. We worked with Chad. From start to finish it was a great experience. Chad was knowledgeable and always followed up. We ordered months in advance to avoid any supply chain issues, and of all the suppliers we used they were the only ones that didnt run into delays. In fact they were fast. Their showroom is a fun, eclectic maze of modern to traditional - that Chad knew like the back of his hand. Of everything we picked for our remodel I am most excited to see the amazingly unique light fixtures installed.

I have been taking my lamp repair projects to Valley Lighting for years. They have always performed at the highest level. Last week I brought a lamp in for a simple repair. I was met at the door by a young man who fixed it on the spot. In 5 mins I was on my way! Recommend them highly.

I called a couple of lamp stores about repairing my lamp and they recommended Valley Light Gallery. I called and they said bring it on in. I took my Stiffel lamp in for repairs, it kept burning out 3 way bulbs every few days. There was a line at the desk but a man in the back saw me walk in and came right over to take the lamp, gave me a receipt and said it might take a couple of weeks. Four days later I got the call that it was ready!! Again, great service at the desk, the lamp had new felt, new wiring, new socket and it was less than $22!!! They also have a great collection of new lamps to choose from in the store. They are my go to lighting store now for all things lamp.

What an amazing experience! During the pandemic, it has been come fashionable to show local. Besides convenience and saving gas, there is another reason-people who care.When I needed to repair a lamp, I especially looked for a local store. I took my lamp in; they fixed it; it was finished on time and I left pleased. A month later, a different lamp broke and I look it in. There were issues and it took much longer than expected, so there was no charge. While I do not expect this every time, I love the fact that they stand by their word.As an aside, they are on Mercer-across from Billies Boots and down from Cactus Flower, so there is a lot of parking and it is just off Scottsdale Road-very easy.

Has everything but staff has a problem returning emails and phone messages. I finally bought elsewhere. Wasnt necessary. Avoid.I received a warm and candid phone call from the owner after my 2 star review of my treatment. I took no pleasure in my original review and he understood. He handle it in a way that reinforces my belief this is the best lighting and fan resource in the Valley.

I had taken my mothers lamp to be repaired it had the wrong kind of socket on it for the lamp shade I wanted to use The place that I took it ended up shorting out the touch lamp switch so I took it to valley light gallery and had it repaired in total the lamp ended up costing me $100 to repair but it was worth it as my mother is now gone and her lamp shines bright again thank you

I cant even give this store a star but it wont let me write a review unless i do so I gave a 1. I came in on Thursday and was very pleased to see the signage of social distancing and practices suggested by the CDC. I just landed the BIG JOB I had been working so hard for and a very large budget to purchase new fans and lights I was very excited until I walked inside the store and saw nothing that resembled social distancing of any kind, there appeared to be no limit of who was allowed in the store at one time,staff not wearing face coverings I took one look around with great disappointment at the lack of care this store had for the community. I did see a few of what appeared to be other shoppers wearing face masks but that was it. I left. A very poor example of caring for others even if you obviously dont care for yourself. I took my business else where and felt I owed it to the community to share.

We purchased some Minka Aire ceiling fans for the home. There were some electrical issues at the time that I thought were related to the fans. It turned out the issues were in the house wiring and Mark patiently worked with us to resolve everything. All went well for 5 years.This year (the insane 2020 we will never forget) the big 84 stopped working. So of course I called Valley Lighting for part or service. Lo and behold Minka Aire was no longer producing our model and there are no parts available. Mind you, this is not an inexpensive fan!The happy ending to the story is that Patty goes to bat for us with the company and guess what? They provide us with a brand new current model replacement at no charge! Now THATs service that is above and beyond and well deserves mentioning here.Thank you Patty, Valley Light Gallery, and Minka Aire!

I can’t express enough how impressed my family and I are with Mark who handles repairs at Valley Light Gallery.He is a talented technician as well as an extremely, caring, kind person.Before finding Valley I traveled to many different lamp repair stores trying to repair two Tizio lamps....only to hear they’re either too difficult to repair or the cost would be exorbitant. Not with Mark. Mark was able to easily fix them at a reasonable cost!Employees are the face and soul of a company. Ones like Mark and a couple others I have dealt with also make this establishment my go to place. They also have a great assortment of lamps. Keep up the good work!

Awesome shop, love the people. I had a part of a chandelier snap. Their repair department was helpful, and incredibly nice while finding a replacement part to solve my problem. Walking in and thru the shop, I noticed they have a HUGE selection as well.

Excellent! What is most important is that they stand behind their products and work. Tons of options for lighting and fans -- so many options... Plan to spend a lot of time here! Because of their fantastic staff and support -- we have bought 6 fans, a chandelier, and some outdoor lighting. I wont even bother checking out any other place if I need fans, lighting, etc. in the future.

Valley Light’s restoration team did a great job on our family heirloom chandelier made by a grandfather who was a smith in Denmark and member of the Danish Resistance during World War II. He custom made the cast iron chandelier in his own forge and turned the arms. As all threads weren’t sold commercially then he made his own and threaded the arms. Valley Light cleaned and polished the chandelier and brought wiring up to current US standard. They repainted the wooden candlesticks and even provided us with candle bulbs. After delivery unfortunately we discovered one arm would not remain attached as the threads were stripped. Valley Light admitted they should have noticed this and repaired it in the shop. So they sent out Will and Trevor to remove the arm and take it back to the shop for repairs. A few days later they came back, reattached the arm, and rehung the chandelier. This is an important heirloom for us as a memorial to our grandfather who lost his life to a German sniper on the last day of the war - Victory Day Denmark - May 5,1945.

They had the exact light fixture I needed in stock. The customer service is exceptional. The amount of light fixtures in the store is unbelievable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for light fixtures

The selection is great however the sales people are extremely rude. There is always a wait for a salesperson and when you finally get to the front of the queue you always feel rushed! The prices are also inconsistent depending who finally waits on you. They also quite inaccurate delivery times on custom items. I would rather have an accurate date if 12 weeks rather than be quoted 4 weeks. They always make excuses and never try to help with a resolution. Too many great choices in Scottsdale to put up with the rude service.

I recently had the misfortune of breaking a scone on an older, yet expensive light fixture. It was a very unique fixture and irreplaceable. I contacted about every lighting store in town to try and find a replacement. Most stores didnt give me the time of day and laughed and said good luck. When I contacted Valley Light Gallery they were eager to help and got right back to me and actually had the scone I needed. When I went into their store I was amazed at how many light fixture were on display compared to all the other stores i had been in. It was a very busy store, with lots of friendly people to help, even with the small details.
