Had a club fitting session to get a new shaft in a new driver. The facility was great - one of the best of the PGA Superstores Ive seen across the country. It was clean, up to date and had everything you could want.The services of Michael Rooyakkers was amazing. He spent over 2 hours with me to ensure that I had the perfect shaft. He didnt try to upsell anything - he gave me the options that I needed to make the most appropriate choice. I didnt feel rushed or forced. Truly a great experience.

Initially had a great experience here the first week of February working with Joe getting fitted for new clubs and placing an order for new irons. Was told it would be 2-3 weeks until they were in. After 3 weeks and no follow up, I reached out via phone and email to see when they were expected to arrive. After a week passed and no response I reached back out and was able to get someone on the phone who told me they were backordered until 3/31. I wasn’t happy with the delay but understood this happens.On 3/31 I called in again to get an update. Was told they were showing that they were expected to be shipped on 3/31. A week went by with no response so I reached out to my Customer Service rep again to get an update. I was told that they would follow up with me within 24 hours. After I received no follow up, I sent another email after I could not get anyone on the phone. That didn’t work so I reached out to Kyle the General Manager who still hasn’t replied. I tried again to reach out a week ago and once again today with no response and no update. It’s painfully difficult to get in touch with anyone who can provide an answer.So here we are 3 months later on an order I placed and paid in full in February with no clubs and not a single person who can respond in a timely matter to give me at least an update on where they are or when I can expect them. Recommend shopping elsewhere for any item they don’t have in store.UPDATE: Received a phone call from Kyle stating the delay in the order was from the grips being backordered and apologized for the lack of engagement from his team. Mentioned he would prioritize this order and the clubs arrived 4 days later. Was able to play a round last weekend and the clubs were exactly what I was looking for.

I visited the Shea location last week where my experience purchasing my first set of golf clubs in over 25 years was extremely unpleasant. After posting my displeasure I was contacted by store General Manager Kyle. Kyle listened to my concerns and insisted I return for a thorough evaluation and fitting to insure I had purchased the correct clubs. I was greeted by Kyle upon my return who introduced to Mike for my fitting session. Mikes expertise and patients helped me choose the correct clubs and exchanged my previously purchased clubs for a new set. I couldnt be happier with my decision to return to Kyles store. Thank you Kyle and Mike.

The #1 spot to purchase golf stuff. You can even try out clubs. Their Reward System is not very good for the consumer though.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you Rudy (in club fittings) for making our first experience buying clubs so great. Being new to golf can be tough to figure out what to buy but Rudy was so patient. Never pushed a sale but explained so well what options we have and set up multiple clubs for us to try out. In the end we left with a set of clubs we are in LOVE with and I will definitely be going back for all my golf needs. As a side note, we came from another store and did not buy anything because we couldnt get anyone to give us the time of day. Thanks again Rudy!

The store let me down today. Lots of employees around the area, in the pre own area couldnt find a price and advised that this driver was marked 349.00 and said its better than paying 500.00 and walked off.

They had the putter I wanted and cut the shaft to fit me no charge while I watched very good service

I went to that store last year they were no help they kept walking away from me want to eat their lunch and I’m hoping they fix it now for better customer service they tried ripping me off a driver fairway wood in the hybrid and a putter Of Callaway but I told Them I want to trade it from tailor-made to Callaway but they said on the phone I can do that for $200 and they tried to say it was 315$ Then finally the manager after I talk to her she finally gave them to me I don’t think I’ll be doing business at the store again but hopefully they fixed it

I was very satisfied with my experience at this store. I dropped off a few clubs to be regripped and was very impressed with the level of knowledge and customer service that I received. I was helped by a young man named Brett who was very patient and professional with all the questions I was throwing at him. When my clubs were done Brett brought my clubs to me on the practice putting green and then took a few moments with me to offer putter suggestions that would be a good fit for my putting stoke, along with some very helpful tips! I would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a store with knowledgeable staff!

I was refused entry despite the fact I have a mask exemption and cannot wear a mask. I explained this to the attendant at the door to no avail. This business has decided to take measures into their own hands rather than follow the mandate that has been established. I traveled 30 miles to shop here and was turned away. Terrible management

Service has improved quite a bit in recent months. Not sure what is going on. I must admit there used to be some weird people working here for years, not any more. Give them a try.

Great selection and helpful assistance. Received new irons as gift. Not purchased from PGA store and not easily returnable. Took them here before I hit to make sure they were right fit. PGA store staff provided various brands and models to try in the simulator and offered a store trade-in credit for mine. Ended up keeping my Ping I set but will be back for woods soon. Thanks.

I would have give the Scottsdale PGA Superstore a five except for the fact that I initially had to engage sales... no one approached me to see if I needed assistance... for over 20 minutes! Other than that my experience has been great. My lessons and instructor, the performance stations, available demo clubs, quality and quantity of golf supplies all met my expectation of a super store.JL

Went to this store to purchase Rogue irons with spec sheet in hand. Entered the store at 9:30 this morning and could not find anyone to assist. As I wadded up the spec sheet and threw it in the trash can on my way out of the place there were 4 employees standing around one of the counters talking amongst themselves. Good bye PGA hello PRG.

Theyve got everything. No, theyve got more than everything one could ever need or want. From toddlers through Senior PGA, golfers have it all here. Came during a promotional event on the Tuesday of the Waste Management Open for a series of workshops and food/prizes. Seriously, theyve got it all, and probably on sale.

The staff member named Mamie wad extremely helpful patient and gave me a lot of golf advice while I was trying out new clubs on the simulator.Ive been to all three PGA stores in the last two weeks and every single person I dealt with was professional and knowledgeable and friendly.

My fiancé got me clubs for Christmas and long story short I had to trade them in for a difference that. Its been 60 days since I first got them and I did not have a receipt. Ben was excellent help and got me all taken care of with my new set. Definition of going above and beyond in customer service. I love the store thank you guys

One particular employee acted like it was such a problem for me to want more than 5 minutes on a monitor. She was very impolite and has been on more than one occasion. My girlfriend, who is a beginner, was trying out some drivers and in between swings this employee proceeded to take my girlfriends tee from her without saying a word. I enjoyed the selection of equipment there but will never return thanks to this employee.

Like all PGA superstores nobody ever wants to help. Walked around for an hour during lunch and the only person who even addressed me was the cashier on the way out. Good morning, how are you doing? Why is that so hard?

The customer service is awful. Went to buy a new set of irons and a driver and not one person approached me asking if I needed assistance. You would think if you are going to spend a few hundred dollars someone would try and assist you and close the deal. I grabbed some clubs and asked an employee to use a hitting bay and just said he wont turn the shot and swing monitor on and walked away. I waited 30 minutes to finally swing some clubs and still no one approached me. I asked an employee for a stiff driver and he just pointed in the general direction. After being there for 2 hours and not one employee approaching me or offered some assistance, I left. They do not deserve my business.

Went with my wife to buy a driver for her. The PGA rep was rude!! Took him 10minutes to come over to see us. Finally sauntered over, and showed us clubs that were available to try out. Interesting how he was practicing his chipping swing in front of my wife, while she was trying out the drivers. I wondered if he did this in front of his buddies while they were on a tee. Asked him for suggestions about her driving, he said he had none. I guess we were an imposition.

Been to this location a few times and won’t be going back. I get clubs shafted and regripped quite often and have been to other pga superstores in the area and have had no problems. Went in today and was told it would take two days to swap a tip on my shaft. That’s unreal. Last time I went there to get a simple regrip, they didn’t even put the tape fully down the grip so I had to take somewhere else to regrip. Bad club repair team and won’t be coming back to this location.

Ok - a friend who lives in Fountain Hills recommended I rent clubs from the PGA Superstore on Shea Blvd in Scottsdale while I was staying in Grayhawk with friends for a long weekend. First time in Scottsdale - I called in advance and got a clear understanding of the 4 day rental charge fee $29.99 per day with refund for unused days. Fair enough. When I arrived to pick up my clubs I had two options Callaway Epics or TM M2s - I picked M2s.. clubs and bag were given to me after paying rental fee and the I could not believe the condition of the clubs! I commented that they looked like someone played through the mud and all the grooves were filled with mud etc and asked if it was normal to not clean them after use and BEFORE renting out again. The guy looked at me like I was crazy and said they dont have time to clean them all as they all get a lot of use. WHAT??!! I asked him if he was serious and he said yes. I said that is brutal. I took them home to my friends house 8:30PM and got a hot bucket of water and some Dawn dish soap and a nice scrub brush and cleaned them up like new. The next morning I played 18 at SunRidge Canyon and shot a 90 with them from 6,408 yd tees and hit them very straight. First time ever playing desert golf and I was ready to buy them but definitely not from that store. When I returned the clubs I commented again about how I received them and the gentlemen seemed vaguely interested and said he would mention it to someone.I then went over to the Taylor Made fitting station on the far wall and hit irons and Drivers for 15 minutes and no one ever even said hello or noticed I was there. You guys just lost a $1,000+ sale......When you get so big you forgot how each customer helped you get there it is time to re-think your customer experience philosophy. Not cleaning every single set of rental clubs for each customer is shameful as you guys are supposed to be the ambassadors for this sport. I will go to my local Carls Golfland here in Mich and get a proper fitting and buy the TM M2s from someone who seems to care more. One star for having clubs I could use, zero for caring or showing interest in making it right or trying to sell me clubs as I hit balls in fitting station. Business must be booming there in Scottsdale.

I went to buy my first brand new set of clubs the other day and after waiting 35 minutes a female clerk finally attempted to demand I get some attention from a older man running a station by club fittings. After being humiliate and belittled by the gentlemen at the desk for being a woman and wanting to purchase clubs he further elaborated they did not have time to assist someone like me. I was taken aback. I have never been treated so horrible. The lady clerk apologized on his behalf elaborating women often get ignored here.After taking a moment to get my barrings straight in my car I drove to Golfsmiths up the road (15452 N. Pima Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85260 ) and received exceptional service, knowledge, and deals on an entire set, drivers, putter.. the whole shebang! I will never step foot into a PGA Tour store again. I truly feel sad for the the man who shoed me out the door and the company as a whole. I may not be a #AnnikaSorenstam, but no human deserves to be treated like that.
