Friendly staff, but a couple of serious issues.1. Called multiple times about bringing my car in for a tire patch, they never once said they won’t be able to get to it today. I even made an appointment and it still didn’t get taken care of.I was told it would get taken care of in the morning and should get a call around 8 am the next day. It’s now 10 am and I haven’t heard anything, I call them and am told they haven’t gotten to it yet. They then inspect it and say my tire can’t be patched and that it will cost $300 for a new tire.I’m skeptical at this point, so I take it to discount tire, who then repairs the tire for free and has me on my way in the same day.I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but businesses need to start being held accountable.

I have tried scheduling work here on three occasions, a simple oil change, an alignment and 4x new tires + install.Each of those 3 times I called at 8am, even going In person once. Every single time, I get the same song and dance about how they are down to 1 or 2 mechanics and booked til next weekend or later, unless I want to leave my car there with them at 8am, and maybe theyll get to it ... but probably not.How are you booked 1.5 weeks out for oil changes ???? Leave you with my car for 8 hours to maybe get an oil change? It takes 10 min with your equipment. Why are you guys always operating with what seems to be 1 mechanic? Why dont you guys hire some apprentices to do lubes and tires?? Ive given this place several chances to be my neighborhood garage but it seems like they purposely turn down work. Youre a garage with 6 bays and 1 full time mechanic? That makes zero sense.God awful business management. And thats not to say hes not a nice guy. I just dont understand their business practices.Done with this place.

I took my car to this place cause this is one of the few in The Valley that service Range Rovers. I got oil changed and all the filters replaced. When I picked up my car it had a light on in the dashboard indicating “transmisión Fault” and they AC was making a weird noise when on. I was looking online for a possible cause and I found out that my car has an auxiliary little battery right next to the cabin filter. That battery was the one causing that light to be on. I went under the glove compartment and noticed that this guys didn’t connect the battery back when they replaced the cabin filter and on top of that the cabin filter was not installed properly as it was not all the way in; I could see it and touch it from the outside and obviously this was the reason of the AC making a weird noise. I went to talk to them and see if they were going to be able to install it properly and they told me they couldn’t do anything if the manager was not in the shop. They asked me to come back during week days from 7 to 4:30pm and to do such thing I would have to take a day off from work. Not fair when they were the ones that didn’t do their job properly. The worst service I’ve ever received.

I rate this place as 1 star THERE IS NO OPTION FOR A ZERO!This fire stone location used to be my go to place for tires and maintenance. NOT anymore!I have been sent away twice in the past month from TWO scheduled appointments for no technicians to service me upon my arrival.No phone call just CANT Service you today.When speaking to manager Nate about these issues his response was Its not my problem!Now I take my cars to Firestone on Pima!Casey is glad to have my business!

Called this location a day after my tire blew and they told me that it would take 4-6 hours to get my tire replaced.. originally I was upset but because I needed a new tire and the demand was high on a weekend I understood, so, decided to wait there.They were able to take care of my tire within an hour! Jim and his crew were very helpful and I appreciate the urgency to get my tire fixed and how fast they were able to do it. I will most definitely come back to this location!

That used to be my favorite location. Not anymore!!On Sunday 03/28/21 I had an appointment for oil change, tire rotation and alignment. My fiancé and I went there to find a person with the worst attitude ever . Her name is Jennifer . She told me I don’t have a lifetime alignment because I didn’t pay for it!!I said that I have that service because I have paid for the same service for all my 3 cars. That’s exactly right. All my cars have lifetime alignment service.She said it doesn’t show up on her computer so I will not get it. Shaking her head with an attitude, rolling her eyes ect .We asked for the manager and all she did was threw his card at us. We left!I called another location ( Cactus) and the guy there confirmed that I have this service and there is nothing wrong. He even send me the receipt.From now on any other location but yours is going to be doing my service on all my cars.Losing a long time customers because of the attitude of Jennifer is not the way to go!

Young lady that checks people in at the Scottsdale location on 10/14/20 is very unprofessional, rude, and not very attentive to the customers. It’s only 7:15am and she is already starting off hostile and annoyed.Don’t understand.I just came to get an air check. She told me to try later, because the air compressor was not on, but they open at 7 am.Long story short found out from the mechanic that she tried to send me away because she didn’t know how to turn on the compressor. Mechanic said it usually is on when he gets in. Why do you guys have someone working in the morning that is not sure how to work key things? And an attitude on top of that. I’m sure she could find another job if she wanted. Smile more.

Absolutely the worst! Used to he good and went downhill for the last 2 years. Been using Firestone for 25 years myself since I owned a car and even longer for my family and none of us will be back. This particular location ruined it entirely and became rude when we brought up the issue. Jeff called today to talk to my mom about her issue with them and he was extremely rude telling her it was our issue that they did not do the service we requested. I can go so much further into detail but already typed a lot. Definitely Do Not Recommend this location for anything!!

Dropped my car at 11:30 am with a flat tire. They told me the job will be done in 2 hours max. I left the place and waited for their call. At 2:00 pm, I called to check on the job, and they told me that in 1 or 2 more hours it will be ready. At 4:30 pm I went there and my car was at the same place where I parked it, no job done. These people need to take their business seriously and stop promising unrealistic turnaround times (or dont take the job and waste my time).

Lady at the front desk Jennifer was rude while I was talking to her over the phone. She even hung up on me, after I asked her a couple of questions. I tried calling again no answer. Second time no answer, finally for the third time she answered and I told her why did you hang up the phone. She didnt say a word. Im a loyal member with you guys. Not sure if she was having a bad day but totally unprofessional.

This place does get pretty busy around lunch as well early afternoon it seems on weekdays. It seems like everyone just wants to get their car all good to go before the weekend...I have used the tire pump service at this location. Its free of charge and the associates that help out there are super helpful and quick. Im usually in and out of there in 5 minutes.

He provided excellent customer service by explaining the services recommended for my car.During my most recent visit, my car took longer than expected causing an inconvenience for me. Horrible experience, refused to call me to tell me the tie rods were bad so they put new tires on a car that blows brand new tires after 1500 miles. Then lied and said they did. Sorry, no missed call, no voicemail. Then lied again and said the sway bar is involved in an alignment when it’s not. I said I wanted the fonts replaced they put them on the back side anyway.I just put new tires on a car that will wear them out before I can even drive it back to get aligned. I had no option to refuse service. Fraud.

I always go to Firestone, but this was one of the worst experiences. I had an appointment for an oil change at noon. They didn’t even bring in my car until around 2:30p. I understand being busy, but what is the purpose of an appointment at that point? I was originally going to wait at the shop for the service to be done, but after an hour I had someone come pick me up.They called me to come back, and when I got there (about 3:00p) they STILL weren’t done. They said they were just putting in the oil then. I asked if I could pay up while they were finishing and the attendant said that “wouldn’t speed up the process.” So... I sat back down. Another customer came in at that point and the attendant started helping them. While they were speaking I saw the mechanics finish my car and drive it back to the front and then bring back my key. I waited for another 20 minutes before I finally interrupted the attendant’s 5th google search for the customer that had come in and asked if I could finally pay.I won’t be coming back to this location.

Great honest place! Zack !!!- the mechanic is awesome and really knows his stuff on cars. I felt safe and and he was very honest and in detail about what he will be repairing. I had a choice to use my parents mechanic however I feel in safe hands with this place and the manager Melton was great as well. They are for sure on the ball and thank you! We rate four stars for the customer service one of our journalists received on the phone. Very cordial and one of our vehicles was looked at by another Firestone dealer. We were informed the vehicle needed some new work done and mind you some of the minor work made sense due to the amount of miles but the major item we were told that we needed to replace didnt make sense because the Avalanche is less than 4 years old. A friend referred us to the Firestone dealer on Camelback Road in Scottsdale and Andre listened to the issues that we brought to his attention. Andre made an appointment for us immediately we were really satisfied and hope we can get the issue resolved to put everyone at ease in a timely manner. Thank you Firestone Camelback.

I came in to get my tire fixed, after skating by on fast flat for way too long! I had never used it before and apparently it can damage the tire pressure sensor... ugh.When they changed the tire they didn’t catch the sensor issue, so a few days later I had to bring it back in.Shawn(Sean?), the new store manager, was SUPER kind and replaced the sensor at no additional cost to me, since he said they should have caught it the first time. Being on a budget, I am VERY appreciative of that and would definitely recommend this shop and will return!

I had kind of mixed feelings about this place. I went here because I had to put a spare on, but I didn’t want it in the front. So I just wanted my tires rotated. When I called in the morning I was told $5-10, which seemed reasonable. They had me make an appointment, and because what I was having done was simple, I made it for 30 minutes before I needed to be leaving for somewhere else...they didn’t get to my car for 45 minutes, so I was late to pick up my son. Then they charged me $10 and acted like they didn’t believe I was quoted anything less just that morning. However, the experience was turned around because the person who did the work on my car was super nice, and made me feel better, and I even left with a smile, after paying my $10, with tax included. :-)

Very happy with the experience we had at this specific Firestone in the valley. The service technicians did not rush the job at all. They took the time to thoroughly address our concerns. The reps at the counter who assisted with the check in and check out process were very patient. We had a few bad experiences at other Firestone locations within the vicinity of the North Phoenix area and were referred to this Firestone location on Camelback in Scottsdale. Was worth the drive and time to get the assistance we needed. Thank you so much you guys.

I miss Brandon. Service has gone down hill. The first car I took in for an oil change and air filter change was not spectacular. The told me a lot of other things that the car needed, and when I tried to explain I did not want all of that. They proceeded to argue why I needed it and why I needed it from them. Then after the service they never contacted me and let me know the car was done. When I went in to get my car they had locked the car. When I dropped off the car I told them not to lock it, (just like, the past 4 times I had dropped it off) because there was no way to unlock it, The key fob didnt work and there is no key for the door. Firestone did not assist with getting the car unlocked and we had to pay someone else to unlock it.This time, I took a different car to have the check engine light checked. I took my car in at 10:30 AM and it is 5:00 PM , when I called to check if it was done, I was told that it had not even been looked at.I really miss Brandon.My past experiences were really fairly good. There were mistakes made yes, but that is human. Brandon always made it right though, to the best of his ability.

Had a negative experience at this location when I took my car in to get the light bulbs replaced that had been replaced three months before. They told me that I needed to replace something else that did not need to be replaced and that the part was not under warranty even though it had been replaced a year ago and should have been under warranty. On the other hand, they did provide speedy and accurate service in a timely manner. Overall, I would not recommend this specific location.

Very happy with the way I was treated and they even let me know that I could use their online coupon to get a little discount.After that initial visit I needed tires and price checked some of the competitors and was happy to see that this location beat them all.

Go here only for basic oil changes and tires. The staff is nice but they completely botched the repair on my Audi A4.I brought it to them to complete an Uber safety inspection. They found my upper control arm bushings to be dried out and cracked (to be expected at the age and mileage of my car in AZ). Most of the cost was covered by my extended warranty but I paid about $120 out-of-pocket. I should have gone to the dealer or a German specialty shop. Firestone installed incorrect parts in an incorrect manner. I had to have to the work done all over again 20,000 miles later (and paying another warranty deductible).This has been my experience at other Firestone locations as well. They do fine with oil changes and tires but their techs just arent trained well enough for involved repairs. Their work regularly leads to other things being broken or work needing to be done over again. Save yourself the hassle and get things done properly the first time. Dealer techs and specialty shops are better trained and do better work.

These guys tried to rip off my friend or they just don’t know what they are talking about. He went in for an oil change on my Toyota. When he went to pay they said he needed a new drive shaft and rack n pinion steering module and would cost $3000. Took it to the Toyota dealership and they said that nothing was wrong with his Toyota except that his brakes were getting close to being done.That’s pretty shady if you ask me. Only reason I am posting the review is he doesnt have a Google account.

I took my truck in for an oil change. They recommended that I have the cooling system looked at as well. I told them to go ahead and look at it. They called back a few hours later and told me that I needed a new radiator and all new hoses. According to them, I had several leaks. I asked why I had never seen a single drop of antifreeze in my driveway, and they started to tell me that the hoses had been installed incorrectly. I reminded them that THEY had installed the hoses... They said they would take a closer look. Guess what they found out? The problem was completely fixed by a couple of hose clamps. No radiator needed. Very interesting... I went from needing a four figure repair, to having my entire problem solved by a few 10 cent hose clamps.This is not the first time something like this has happened at this Firestone. Several years ago, my AC stopped working. I took it in, and a few hours later they called and said everything needed to be replaced. The repair was going to be over $2000. I drive an older truck that probably isnt worth $2000, so I declined, paid for the inspection, and left. When I got in my truck, the AC was working perfectly. PERFECTLY. It has continued to work perfectly ever since. No $2000 repair needed. It is still chugging along, blowing ice cold air several years later.There was also an incident with tires. I went in to get a nail removed, and they told me that it was in a place that they couldnt safely take it out. They also said that I needed four new tires. I went to a competitor down the street, and they immediately removed the nail and said the tires were fine.The air conditioner incident could have been an isolated incident. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The tires? The radiator issue today? There is no excuse for this.Firestone will never get another penny from me, and I highly recommend that you think twice before visiting them.

This place is amazing. The employees and management are always so friendly. Ill come in for silly things like a tire pressure light, all the way up to tire repairs or replacement, and they are always professional, friendly, and reasonably priced! Cars are expensive, everyone, so to the person in front of me arguing over $50, all I have to say is, really? The folks here professionally handle all situations Ive seen. I will be returning for any car needs theyre able to help with.

Needed shocks and struts after 30K (bought through delaership). Miffed at length of time they lasted and what it would take to have them replaced through warranty work. Porter and Evan worked with me on what I could replace (upgrade) them with - had to go outside the standard simple supply chain to do it, but they COULD do it. They did and I could not be happier: Ride and handling are incredible. Looking forward to taking the ride offroad! I have said it before and I will say it again: THIS team never ceases to amaze - from Paul as a District Mgr. to Bill and Craig who have moved on to manage other locations, Porter, who is next in line and Evan who, as a technician/mechanic, is AS good as anyone I have ever had work on any vehicle I have owned. Period. Not only will they own your business - they will have earned your trust.

I brought my truck in for a break check s and they told me that my rotors and entire brake system needed fixed. 1100 out the door. Went over to Brakemasters and only the front brakes needed changed for 250. These guys will literally find any reason to replace the most expensive part of your vehicle to nickle and dime you. I had the brakes on my BMW 335i replaced 6 months ago by Firestone on camelback. The friendliness of the staff and attention to detail was impressive. I had to bring my car back to them today because my brake fluid light came on and Zack took care of everything. He was professional and explained to me a couple of other issues that I should consider fixing in the near future. My back brake pads need to be replaced soon and I will be taking my car to this location.

I would definitely definitely stay away from this place if you can at all, people running the show like Brandon Knotts are typical Bad customer service guy with a wide fake smile. In the middle of the check up they decided to push me back for a few hours, and after being a fleet customer that spends about 10 to 15,000 in tires alone a year, he was persistent and pushing my emergency service for a while because he had just mopped the service bay. Planning to take this higher, but just wanted to make sure that this is on the record.

Will never go here again. Tech doing alignment didnt notice my track bar was hanging down and does not have a clue about doing alighnment on a Jeep. Its a miracle I did not have a serious accident as I drove home. Also claimed to have centered my steering wheel but didnt. Had they taken a test drive techbwouls have known there was a serious problem that was an easy 10 min fix. Think twice before going here.

Horrible experience! I called Firestone at 10:45 AM to make an appointment for an oil change. My appointment was set for 5:30 pm with Robert who was very kind and polite over the phone. I arrived at Firestone an hour early , Robert was gone for the night and Jeff was at the front counter. I also spoke with Jeff before my arrival just to make sure my scheduled appointment was still in place and everything was set . When I arrived I sign for the oil change and I also asked while having the oil changed if i could also have my breaks inspected. Jeff assured me that it could be done also but I wouldnt be able to have my breaks done until tomorrow which was ok.Jeff told me to come back by 6:30 which was about an hour after my scheduled appointment which was fine. I waited outside in front of the grocery store (Sprouts) which is next door from Firestone, I came back to check on my car TWO HOURS LATER............. and my car hadnt even been touched! Jeff had my phone number the whole time he even asked if thats where I could be reached! He didnt even have the common sense or courtesy to call and tell me he was running behind schedule and HOURS BEHIND AT THAT! Which wasnt the case because there was new cars getting work done that arrived after me Jeff response was that the people had appointments also , keep in mind that I arrived a hour early and he wanted me to wait TWO MORE HOURS! Then said theyll get to me before they close SMH I took my keys and my business elsewhere! If you come here for anything expect to wait HOURS! Especially if someone else walks in has an appointment

Took my car in for an alignment and one of the cam bolts was defective. Had an extra set and was told theyd put a new one on for me and they would take care of it. Picked up my car the next day and was hit with an additional $50 charge to replace the cam bolt. I would have replaced the bolt myself had I known they were going to charge me $50. It would have taken me all of ten minutes, max.

I had an issue with a previous installation of new tires and rims the day before. I was flagged down on the freeway by other drivers when they noticed my rear rims were wobbling. I called this location close to closing time after I pulled off to the side of the road explaining the problem, they told me it was no problem and to come on down. Turns out the previous owner of my car had installed a shim on my axles to make my old rims fit. This caused the new rims I bought to appear to fit but they actually werent seated all the way on the axle which caused the problem I was having. Eric Dubberly and Julius Curly went above and beyond to fix my problem. Eric did extra research online to see what the actual diameter of my axle should be which helped him determine that there was an aftermarket shim installed. Once they diagnosed the problem and removed the shim my rims went on all the way no problem. They didnt charge me for any of this and stayed after closing to get this done for me. They really saved the day for me, excellent service all around!

I came to get an oil change done and knew my car needed coolant and let them know so they add more coolant to my car. The person I spoke to replied telling me that they were going to check all my fluids and top everything off as needed and said it was part of their procedure for doing oil changes. After I pick up my car, two days later my car breaks down because they NEVER ADDED COOLANT TO MY CAR. Now Im doubting my car really needed the new tire I purchased from them when I got my oil change done after they told me i had a bubble developing in one of my tires, I feel like it was just a gimmick to get me to spend more money. Stay away from this place theyre scammers 👎👎👎👎👎

Great customer service! The baby for bringing my lifted FJ Cruiser here I had gotten a lifetime warranty alignment at a Firestone in North Phoenix. By the time I drove home to this side of town the vehicle is out of alignment. I dropped it off at this Firestone as it was closest to my house. Not only did they notice the alignment was off they noticed damage that the previous Firestone had done. it also look like the previous buyers to Firestone did not even do an alignment. These guys fixed the problem at no cost to me. Even tho the mistake was done by the other shop this wasnt their mistake and this is great customer service in my book. FJ never drove so strait!!

This place is a joke I called and asked about a tire and he aid he couldnt find it. I told him that I found it on the Firestone website site why cant you. He had no answer for that. Then I went in thinking it would be much better but I was WRONG. They guy couldnt find it either, Then I told him it was on the Firestone website and it let me schedule but I wanted to negotiate the price since WalMart had it cheaper. He told me to please go home and make the appointment and then bring him the receipt and he would work with me. WHAT !!! isnt that his job to deal with the tire coming to his shop ?? What a Joke !!! Instead of taking my car to the dealer for maintenance work I take it to my local Firestone store with ASE certified mechanics and a reasonable payment for services rendered theyre not the cheapest but who is these days a guy that doesnt know what hes doing Ive had for Chevrolet equinoxes and they have taken care of the maintenance on three of them I have a Chevrolet Traverse and instead of taking it to the dealer for any kind of service I let Firestone take care of it they have customer rewards and I just bought a set of tires for my Equinox and save $100 off the normal price to me theyre doing it right thats just one mans opinion

Wanted to take advantage of my Girl Friend by trying to charge her 99 bucks to mount and balance 2 tires that cost 50 dollars each.... needless to say I went to another tire store that had the same tires and was charged 123 out the door...

The staff at Firestone on Miller/ Camelback are incompetent from the person checking me in KC, to the store manager Bill who had no clue what was going on with my vehicle. I brought in my SUV Sunday @8am when they first opened and told them I had an AC problem..: I was checked in and was told they were very busy and that if I can leave my car there today for them to work on it. I never got a call until they were about to close so I called them . Sure enough they didn’t even get to my car. KC promised me that they will run the AC diagnostics first thing at 7am and because it takes an hour to complete I should hear back by 8am. The next day no phone call . Bill the manager answers and has no clue what was going on with my car and proceeded to give me excuses after excuses . I then asked him Do you not talk to your staff to see what was pending from the night before”?To make a long story short, It’s all about greed. If they are unable to work on a vehicle, I would’ve been ok for them to tell me to bring my car back on another day instead wasting my time.. now I’m back to square one — my AC is still not fixed , and with 100 degree temps in AZ this is brutal...I have been a customer for many years now, and now I am done . Never again will I take my car to Firestone . They won’t care about this review because I am just one unhappy customer . I can guarantee you this , I will be telling 10 of my friends and my friends will be telling their friends ... But Firestone , who cares about 1 unhappy customer right?

I needed an oil and filter change plus maitenence check to keep my Infiniti under warranty. They scheduled an appointment and the car was ready before it was promised. Very efficient place and they did a nice job.

Came in for a screeching belt on cold starts. They couldnt replicate and replaced the belt which exacerbated the problem. I brought the car back and left it overnight so they could diagnose it properly. Turned out one of the belt tensioners was out of spec and that cleared everything up.I wasnt charged for the tensioner fix and still have a new belt. Im glad they stuck with the issue and didnt try to double charge me like other shops have tried to. These guys are solid.

I have lived across the street from Firestone for over 10 years now, it is convenient to bring my car in and see what my issue is. However, about 5 years ago my girlfriend surprised me by getting my cars oil changed. The people at Firestone ended up selling her a battery, and a lifetime tire alignment. Interestingly, what she did not know was I just bought a brand new battery the day before. Nevertheless, that did not stop Firestone; they sold her another battery, and also took my new battery and kept it. Once I found out, I came there and had them put my original battery in and to refund her money back. (Which they did rudely and with no apology)A few years later, I had engine cooling issues. This time, I figured maybe it was just a miscommunication and I should give them the benefit of the doubt. Which, I did, the next time I had some engine cooling issues they said I needed a Thermostat, a water-pump and a radiator I thought gees that much? I went and asked my friend and he said, That’s odd that it’s your entire cooling system. He looked into it and saw that the thermostat was not working. $10.00 dollars later, I was on the road. Wow saved me $1000.00!Today, (5 years later) I bought a used truck. As I drove down the freeway, the truck would shake. When I got home, I decided to see what Firestone has to say. After Firestone completed their inspection, they recommended a new upper control arm, Upper Ball Joint, and Pitman Arm. Totaling $1,151.95 with Labor.Remembering Firestones antics, I told them I would think about it. I immediately drove down to a tire shop in phoenix on McDowell. 20 minutes later I found out, I had a bad tire. The Total Cost was $40.00 dollars.My Truck now goes down the freeway 80 miles an hour smooth as a Cadillac! After the 10 years I have lived here I can only feel bad for the people to desperate to do their reaserch.
