Got amazing help from Rain!! If you’re going into that store ask for her she was there on a Saturday, just did incredible work! actually listened to me, I don’t like looking like I’ve got too much foundation on and my skin is hard to match … I got out of there with a perfect foundation and a perfect concealer!! we all know how actually difficult that is!!!! She is awesome!!!!! Yeayyy

The store was systematic & polished. However, I just wish that its a little bit bigger and has more options for products.

Staffs were friendly, but I came to the store just so I can have what I want immediately and neither of the item I was gonna purchase were in stock, which was a disappointment.

My experience I had at Sephora made my day. I needed my eyes done by a professional and Makayla was amazing. She is an expert in products and application. She will go so far in her career. Everyone in the store made me feel welcome and all offered assistance in any way I needed. Jack picked out many products that I needed and was so nice in doing so. I definitely will be back for more products and services.

This place is great. I went in with my mother so I could help her find something for her skin and a young lady at the door greeted us nicely and even got someone to help us since she wasn’t familiar with what we were asking for. We didn’t end up buying anything but I’m shocked with the customer service here!! Every other Sephora I’ve been to always has snobby girls working there, sorry not sorry.

The young ladies who waited on me in Sephora knew their makeup! They were sweet and patient as they helped me choose the right colors and shades for my skin tone. The variety of brands in the store was a feast for any makeup lover.

I wont go back until the mask mandate ends - ridiculous. I tried products on my hand & was greeted warmly by the staff during the 40 minutes I was in there but, upon entering the check out line & leaving I was told to pull my mask up at least to cover my mouth. I replied that I was vaccinated but, of course, its corporate policy - I think someone complained & their will dominated. When will this insanity end?!

The staff were very friendly and I really enjoyed interacting with them about fragrances they were very helpful.

Love the employees, great products but shopping with Klarna was a horrid experience. I made a return & it was refunded to me instead of Klarna. (As a new Klarna user I thought it would be as simple as after pay but they expect you to go into the app, process the exchange & cross your fingers the Sephora employee processes the request correctly) Three months later I am now paying Klarna $100+ & didnt keep the product. Klarnas customer service is TERRIBLE! They take weeeeeks to reply & have so many requests for their customers. After pay is much more user friendly!

Things are a little different now with Covid, like you cant try anything on, not even on your hand, but everyone was really understanding when I made that mistake and promptly cleaned the items I touched. They also have a liberal return policy since you cant try anything on. With the Arizona heat I dont trust shipping cosmetics so I decided to brave it and shop in store and was pleasantly surprised but how they are handling safety and cleanliness. Nicely done!

One of their best locations is at this Scottsdale Quarter site. It was great trying their mini make overs and also then booked an hour makeup session. It helps you try out products and get ideas on different makeup styles. The staff is very well versed in all their amazing cosmetics. A truly great time! Thank you!!

If you like being bombarded by employees, this is the place for you. I went on a Saturday afternoon (with the bf in tow. He was thrilled.) and it was PACKED. Now, I understand its their job to be helpful but when I decline help from the first person I dont want to then be bothered in 30 second increments from every other employee in the store (and it some cases the same employee multiple times).

This place is the best place to get mens fragrances. The prices are responsible but, the main reason you want to go here is to get help from a women who runs the fragrance section. I hate that I cant remember her name, shes older but oooooh man she knows her stuff. GO HERE!!

Super friendly and helpful! I had difficulty finding the products I wanted, and they made sure to help me find suitable replacements and accommodate my needs. They also gave me direct answers to my questions of Which do you like more?, instead of asking me more questions like Well, what are you interested in? to guide me. It really helped my inability to make a decision.

It seems like the staff here has taken some of the former reviews to heart as I had a fantastic experience at this location. I am still very new to the world of makeup and am always feel a little lost going into makeup stores. The people who helped me were wonderful. I worked with a lovely individual, Gabby, who walked me through finding a good foundation (she gave me a ton of samples to find one that I liked best)! Gabby also helped me find the right shade for my eyebrows and gave me some awesome tips on how to use everything. I was really impressed and walked out of there feeling much more confident. So far Ive loved every product Ive purchased that day!

I can’t say enough great things about this location. I took my daughter and 4 of her friends for a mini makeup and they were absolutely terrific. Everyone was so welcoming and patient. The girls loved it and the makeup artist listen to what each girl wanted. It was adorable. Thank you ladies! I appreciate what you did to make this day special for my 5 year old.

Please change your hours. I drove 30 mins to come here only to find it boarded up and closed after google said it was open. Please keep your hours and when you are closed up to date!!!

I LOVE Sephora! The stores in Scottsdale have as large as selection as any Sephora, carrying all of in store lines... That said, there are still a few brands you can only get on their website... But for the most part anything you want, they have and the people who work there are very helpful in picking products that work well with your coloring or goals. They always have at least a few make-up artist on the store to get you ready for an event at the last minute if you didnt schedule an appointment.

Awesome location! Its within a sweet little shopping center with a parking structure really close by. I went during their sales and actually made a return. Poor cashier, she was the only one during that madness. She handled my transaction so well! I love having a Sephora nearby thats not in a mall!!

This place can be hit or miss. I definitely get a different experience depending on whether I come in with a full-face of makeup or not, but I guess thats to be expected. Regardless of past negative experiences, I am writing this today to leave a glowing recommendation for Vicky! She completely made my day yesterday. I came in wanting to treat myself to a new perfume and mentioned to her the different scent families I typically love. She was so amazingly helpful and made me samples of literally eight different perfumes! Vicky was a joy to work with, and is a total glam queen. I am a perfume-holic and typically go to Nordstrom to get my fix. However, from now on, I will be coming here to pick up new perfumes because of her. Thank you Vicky!

The staff was awesome! Sam helped me find a foundation that fits me perfectly. Until now, I kept searching for a foundation suitable for my skin tone and type. It was a little busy and crammed, but overall it was an excellent experience! Thank you! :)

Def not my favorite Sephora. If I need to go to a Sephora, I try not to go here. I work in beauty but sometimes I like to treat myself and have someone else help me. The employees almost always have a hard time understanding what I’m looking for (oily skin, matte foundation) and they drag me around everywhere but where I want to go. It’s hit or miss really, the lighting is pretty bad but one of their cashiers was amazing. So take it for what you will.

I walked in and wasnt greeted or acknowledged. As a matter of fact, several memebers of the staff walked right by me and some looked at me like I was a criminal. But, as I said, during my 5-10minutes at this location, no employee said hello, asked if I needed help or anything! I left and went to ULTA.

Staff are always friendly and quite eager to help you upon arrival. Biggest disappointment though is a product line theyve heavily advertised on Facebook is apparently not actually carried in 2 of their larger stores in Arizona, being the Scottsdale Quarter and the Scottsdale Fashion Square. Neither of the stores seemed to be able to solve the mystery of where it is carried, as theyve early spent a great deal of money advertising for it online.

This location was the most lovely sephora experience I have ever had! I am from Toronto, Canada and normally the experience I have at sephora is stressful, unhelpful and kind of rude.This location was what a sephora experience should be. The staff was all very nice and helpful. Going above and beyond. It was a stress free environment, I left excited about my next sephora shopping experience...not being overwhelmed with the idea of going in!

Loved it here! Me and my niece went here! Except...I SAW MY GRANDSON HERE!!! I took him to the bathroom. I told him that he should get a wife instead of being scrawny and buying makeup. I went up to the front desk and there was a millenial lady (the type with tattoos) and told her that boys shouldnt be allowed. I was threatened to be kicked out (she must have ben out of her mind) finally I lectured my grandson to leave! Me and my niece went here peacefully again. 3 stars because I looked even more beautiful than I did before! 10/10

To be honest with you, I dont like the feel of this Sephora location. The set up of the store is fantastic. Everything is laid out well and is pretty easy to find. However, its the employees that ruin the experience for me. I always feel like Im unwelcome and a nuisance. I have very few memories of going to this store and being pleased with the customer service. Ive just left with four foundation samples from this location. The employee seemed very unhappy to be helping me the whole time. She didnt bother to color match me, and so I had to do it myself when I got home. I had throw out three of the four samples. None of them were even close to my skin tone, and because I am so pale, the line simply doesnt carry my color. I wish she had taken the time to ask about my needs because not only were three of the four the complete wrong shade, but the only one that did match was a finish I dont like. When I saw her making the sample I mentioned that I did not want it because I dont want a matte foundation. She gave it to me anyway and now its the only foundation I have that matches and I absolutely hate the way it looks. I would completely recommend going to the Fashion Square location because their customer service is fantastic and they are always helpful and welcoming.

I walked into the store with a naked face and asked an innocent associate what one product would be most beneficial for me. She steered me toward a mascara. And she was spot on! This was a tricky question, mind you, because I am almost 50 years old. 😉. I would say that someone at Sephora is training their staff well. 💖

Sephora is amazing, amazing products, amazing staff, amazing return policy. Will say Ive had better recommendations on products at arrowhead/biltmore locations than the kierland commons location. This is based on having to return facial products that were recommended by staff as they did not mesh with my skin. Where other locations I didnt have to return products cause I wanted to keep

I shopped at Sephora yesterday, Wed. Feb 6, 2019 at Scottsdale Quarters. The store was busy so I set about helping myself. A manager came to me and offered help. I still needed a lipstick so asked for her help. She selected an orange red for me, but I told her that was not a good color for me. She said she would get a color specialist, Mark, to help me. I waited some time and she finally said to me that Mark took a phone call and so would be a little longer. Needless to say, I left without the lipstick. When is a phone call more important then a customer standing right in front of you??? And since when cant a manger help you find a lipstick? Very disappointed in Sephora.

I have very limited knowledge about make up and the vast variety of products out there. I have searched for undereye concealer to body scrub. The girls who work there are super knowledgeable and have never ever steered me wrong. They can tell you about the pros and cons of each product and they are even pretty up to date on the reviews of the product so you can gauge how others felt about the product. I love it that they give you a completely objective look at the product and they are not super pushy about what and how much you buy.A small down side is that Ive had my make up done a few times there. I want kind of a more natural look and they always go heavy on the make up. But honestly, I have yet to find a place that sells make up and doesnt go heavy on the application.A teeny little plus is that when they have a long line, they have a little credit card machine so you can make your purchase in a jiffy. All about the customer!Four stars and I would definitely go back.

This Sephora is a large store, while one story it is a bit cramped when it comes to isle space. However once you maneuver inside the employees are attentive and very helpful. Even for someone like me with little makeup knowledge who just wants clear skin and a little spa treatment now and then.

The last time I was there (July 31, 2017) two separate employees managed to screw up two separate things about my ONE purchase.The first employee couldnt manage to find the correct perfumes that I had vouchers for (which I already paid for from a previous online purchase) and those vouchers clearly stated EXACTLY what perfume I chose, she just had to find them in the store and give them to me. Not only did she take 20 minutes to locate just 3 perfumes in the small perfume section of the store, she gave me two wrong perfumes, which she put in my basket. I didnt think to check them to see if they were the correct perfumes, because I assumed she was capable of doing her simple job, but I definitely wont make that mistake again.Then...When I give my basket to the second employee who checked me out, he charged me for the 2 perfumes that I had the vouchers for (which again, the vouchers clearly stated the exact perfume I chose), because of the previous employees mistake. But, he obviously didnt notice that I had 3 vouchers but only one voucher was actually accepted by the register, which I couldnt see on my end. Again, I mistakenly thought that the employees were capable of doing thier simple job correctly.But after I left the store, I thought that the total was a little high so I checked the receipt and I was charged for the perfumes that I had the previously paid vouchers for. Luckily, I didnt leave the parking spot yet and I go back in and they reimburse me and I thought everything was good now... WRONG.When I got home and checked out my new stuff I realized that the first employee gave me a roller ball size of the perfume when I gave them a full sized perfume voucher for. Which again the voucher clearly states. Theres a $40 difference between the voucher price and the roller ball price. So now I have to go back to the store to get the full size perfume and not lose the $40 THAT I ALREADY PAID SEPHORA.Apparently reading comprehension isnt a strong suit with the sephora employees at this store. The only reason I will go back to that store is to get the correct perfume that I already paid for, because of their mistakes (plural), but Im NEVER going there again after they correct the mistake!Ridiculous!

I was in the scottsdale quarter store today and all the employees were running frantically. I actually needed help picking out a product and was not approached at all. I finally asked someone to help who seemed disinterested, to busy and simply did not care.I found someone else. Ry or Rai? (So sorry for spelling it wrong) was so kind when I approached her and so genuine. She seemed happy to help and happy to be there.Sephora needs to give her a raise or bonus because she is the ONLY reason a gave this store business today and the only reason I would think about going back.
