I cant say enough good things about Tech Plus automotive. Good mechanics are few and far between, the mechanics at Tech Plus are the exception. Ive been taking my Land Rover here for a few years now and It always gets fixed right the first time. Clear and accurate quotes before the work begins. As for cost, you get what you pay for. That being said, still much more competitive than any dealership. Dealership sell cars, thats their bread and butter. If you want something fixed you take it to a mechanic.

I brought my Porsche in a few weeks ago. The check engine light was on and my car was having a few problems. I came here to get a second opinion after another shop quoted me at $5000 for the fix. I came in without an appointment. Gary and his team had a quote for me the same day. The quote from Gary was around $2000. And they had a fix for me within 48 hours!! I waited a few weeks to write a review just to make sure everything worked with my car. I am happy to report that things are good as new and I am thrilled with the service I was provided. Gary and his team are honest, quick and thorough. I will definitely be coming back for future automotive needs.

Although I did not meet him in person because of the virus I could tell he was a man of integrity and was known for doing the right thing for his customers. It became very apparent that his mechanics were on top of everything that needed attention on my car and knew the best and most economical way of fixing it. With companies like this that are privately owned it is not necessary that we have to take our cars to the dealership. The price is better and so is the service. I will remember them. I took my 2002 Volvo car with lots of miles to a local well known car repair place. They refused to work on my car because of the age of the car and the fact that my car is a Volvo. Over the course of 29 years of driving and 12 cars, this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with an auto repair shop. They immediately and accurately assessed my vehicle’s issues and fixed it for less than 1/2 of the dealership estimate. I will never bring my Lexus or any other vehicles that I’ll own to anyone else. Audi dealership booked my battery install, put me into a loaner, then called me 2hrs later to inform me my particular battery was out of stock and would take 6 days to get it in. Called several shops and this was the only one who had it in stock. Smooth experience, no complaints.

Great first experience! We were planning to take our new Mercedes to the dealer for normal services, but the bill from the first big service was astronomical for what was done. Found tons of good reviews for Tech Plus and decided thats where we would go next. On the second big service we used Tech Plus and were not disappointed. The service was great, very friendly staff, and the bill was probably around half what we would have paid at the dealer. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

I take my E320 Mercedes here any time it needs service. I found Tech Plus through a friend of mine who recommended Gary and his crew and am glad I listened to my friends advice . Took my car in after it wouldn’t start and this was the closest to where is died. The tow truck dropped it off because I had to go into work. On the drive to work they called to let me know what was wrong. It was so fast. He took care of it, was really kind and even left a thank you note on my seat. After checking out several Auto Repair shops in the Scottsdale area, I decided to bring my beloved 1964 Corvette to Tech Plus Automotive. I had checked with several friends that had used this shop for there classic cars and they had nothing but praise for the work that was done.I am very particular about who works on my Classic Corvette. The work that was done on my engine was fantastic. They kept me informed during the whole process, called me in to look at some of the issues first hand and in the long run probably saved me several thousands of dollars in future repairs. Gary, the owner of the shop was straight forward, honest and fair with the charges.

STAY AWAY!!! They charged me $140 for an oil change on a mid size SUV. They charge for the oil change but the oil Is not included so they charge that separately. And then they charge for the filter.Then I asked to have the right rear blinker changed.As I’m driving away I use the blinker and it still doesn’t work. I call them and they said they thought I wanted the brake light changed but bring it back on Monday and they will change it.So I come back Monday and guess what.... they actually charged me do have it changed. The thing I already paid them for.This place is horrible. Please stay away.

I really feel comfortable taking my Porsche 911 to this shop. They really take care of it and they are very clear and fix any problems that I may have. I fully recommend them.

I presented Gary and his 5 star mechanic Ken with an extremely challenging issue with my BNW 745LI when the engine light would not go off and the car could not passs emissions testing and could not be re-licensed. It was so challenging that I paid the BNW dealer $200 to diagnose the problem and make recommendations to repair it. The BNW dealer made recommendations that would have cost thousands of dollars and the actual problem wasn’t on their list. I paid another BNW repair specialist hundreds of dollars to unsuccessfully identify the problem and make repairs. Tech Plus spent more time than I was charged for and using logic and expertise to solve the problem. I would highly recommend them!!

Needed new battery for 2014 BMW. Battery required was in stock and it would take about an hour if I preferred to wait. The time frame was met and the price was competitive. Will definitely use again as the need arises.

I had recently took in my 2011 LR4 Land Rover to be serviced, I had sold it and bought a rand rover. But before turning it over to the new buyer I wanted to make sure everything was in perfect condition. Quality shop. I took my Mercedes in for several problems and received competent, efficient service. The owner was friendly and helpful and gave me an accurate estimate. I was really impressed by the service technician (Mr Piech) who worked on my car. It is always a pleasure to find someone who takes pride in his work. This is not the cheapest shop around but it is much less than the dealer and you get top quality work that they stand behind.

Ive used Tech Plus twice now. Without going into the specifics, I can say that my experience has been superior to my previous visits to BMW with the same car. Smaller can be better when it comes to getting the full story of what is being done and feeling like you are not on an assembly line albeit a plush one. And the cost savings vrs. the dealership is a nice bonus.

Tech Plus has serviced both my BMW and Lexus for a few years. Both vehicles operate like they just came off the show room floor. They are flexible and work me in the daily schedule when issues come up. Their technicians are experts, have knowledge about preventive care and have excellent diagnostic skills to identify and quickly fix problems.Lastly they are great to work with, vehicles are fixed the first time and do not require immediate repair after being maintained by them.

If you want great quality service with confidence, you wont gowrong with Tech plus. They are a straight shooter and dontrecommend service which is not required unlike BMW. My recentrepair on my BMW was quality to say the least, using OEM BMW parts.Their price was 40% lower than BMWs.

Gary and his team were great! As I am not mechanically inclined, they took the time to explain everything. When I purchased my Mercedes through a dealer in CO, I first had it thoroughly inspected by an independent Mercedes expert that alerted me of things that would need to be addressed in the future. At that time, I was living in Overland Park and took the car to Mercedes of Kansas City. I notified them of the independent findings and they couldnt find the issues. When I moved to Scottsdale, some of the issues began to pop up. When I spoke to Gary at TechPlusAutomotive, I identified the current problems but had forgotten to mention the other ones. After their inspection, they identified the other issues that Mercedes of Kansas City had failed to identify... even after I had given the CO recommendations. While I cannot speak for the Mercedes Dealerships here as I have not used them... I would highly recommend this service shop as they did a great job and identified issues failed to be diagnosed by the Kansas City Mercedes Dealership.

Gary took good care of me in a pinch. Didn’t know what was wrong with my car but transmission was acting strange. They couldn’t duplicate the issue, but suggested a couple of common things could be the cause. We agreed to just wait to see if the issue came back and then make sure the right problem was addressed. No pressure and only charge was for a little bit of their time. Very fair and really appreciated the quick turnaround.

Same day service- dropped it off in the morning and it was ready for me after work. Was expecting a much more expensive repair, but it was very reasonable; with no scare tactics, just honesty. Great place.

Ive had my Land Rover for many years and I have never had it serviced anywhere but at the dealership. Turns out that I have put up with a lot over the years. At Auto Tech, the work was done in a very timely manner. Before any work was started, Gary called to review everything and make suggestions. As a woman, sometimes it feels as if I dont have any credibility when I walk into a dealership or a auto garage. I did not get that same feel at Auto Tech. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They made the job, buy they are just looking how to charge you whit extras, i take my gl 450 to change a suspension part and they charge me whit a computer analysis.I come from a dealership which give the diagnoses whit no charge but they havent the part.Analysis that they dont want to give me because said there are other fails, and i only paid for ONE.Hey, i paid for an analysis that i dont need, some complete, not for something in particular, when i ask for the service ask something very specific.I ask for see something in the latch back door, ad they want to charge me whit an another amount.They recommend me to change filters change, i just coming from the dealership from the major tune up whit filters exchanges in no more than a month, and they are NEW, and they want to change it.Better look for another honest and fair place

Gary and his crew of qualified techs have been taking care of both of my BMWs for a number of years now. Tech Plus never tries to oversell and tells me the correct facts even though it might be less revenue for them. A BMW dealer wanted to do thousands of dollars of work on my electrical system when Gary & His Tech said it was discharging so little power that it would take a very long time to run down the battery. I have always felt Tech Plus considers my interest and needs and advises on what is right and not on how much they sell me like other shops or dealers do.

I have taken my 2011 Mercedes Benz GLK to be serviced and was very pleased at how thorough they were with what needed to be done through the technicians observations. This is the first time I have used someone other than a dealership.The attitude is friendly, no pressure and the car is ready when promised.

I took my previously owned ML 350 in for a B service at 56K miles. They took care to discuss with me what would be done. Mr. Piech, who worked on the car did phenomenal work. I thought the car rode smoothly before I brought it in, but Mr. Piech re-lubed the chassis and now it rides like it came out of the showroom. He also noted that the brake fluid needed replacing, and the difference in braking is noticeable. He let me know things that were fine, but noted item I need to keep an eye on (for example, difference in brake pad wear). Its nice to know I have found a shop where people still take pride in their work. I have already recommended the shop to two of my friends, and Ill be bringing my car here for as long as I own it.

They do a nice job at a fair price and dont try to up-sell you like many car dealers for lot of items that you do not need. Really easy to work with.

Great place to bring a volvo due to the fact that one of their stellar mechanics has 15 years experience with volvo! It has been a nightmare trying to piece my car together at various shops who all claim they can work on Volvo.. these guys get my car in right when I call them and I drive out the same day... highly recomended!!!

I called Tech Plus and spoke with Gary because another local auto repair shop did an oil change and fuel system clean but my check engine light still came on. However, after they did that a few hours later I loss acceleration/power to my truck and when taking it back they said they didnt have the right computer to run diagnostic on my truck based on the make/model..When calling Gary he mentioned he has the right equipment and a tech that use to work for the brand of my truck for 4-5 yrs plus before going to his shop.Moral of the story, Garys tech found out they didnt reset my computer codes right and was more honest, experienced, and had the right tools. They also offered to give me a ride to my office and back. Needless to say I now know I will be taking my cars/trucks to Gary and his team at Tech Plus Automotive.
