Just a quick thanks. My wife had a pair of ear protectors from her late father who was an avid marksman. He probably had these since the 1970s (Model E-305). They were thrashed. She thought we were going to have to throw them away so I started looking online for a way to repair them and found you guys. I had no intention of getting rid of the Dad patina but something had to be done with the earpieces. You guys were a godsend. My wife is thrilled and it cost less than $12. Wow. Thanks again.

I couldn’t believe the quick response to my questions and emails, always the same day! Not only are the prices reasonable, but how quickly the items were shipped. I needed a replacement ( no fault of My Pilot Store) not only did they send it immediately but they apologized for the problem. Edited to add- They finally made it right after they saw this google review. So, if you make the mistake of shopping here and they inevitably screw you over, leave a review. Changed from one star to three because it was FINALLY resolved.Absolutely do not shop here. They overcharge and then refuse to make it right. I ordered a bundle of flight sim controls which were then shipped a month late and separately because of a backordered item. They then charged me for each unit separately and refused to refund the price difference. Ill never use them again.

Be very careful of well camouflaged return policy. I returned an item, 100% unopened, in the original plastic bags, box, Fed Ex, insured, etc. Mypilotstore chose to refund only $47.19 out of $60.94 to “recover original shipping fees” Along with my return shipping fee, which I fully agreed to pay, I was charged a total shipping of about 45% of product cost!. A kind gentleman explained that as a small business, they have to do that. (?!)Maybe that’s how small businesses remain small businesses! There are obviously better options out there. Do your homework.

Almost a year ago, I purchased a new set of Bose ProFlight 2 headsets, using their trade-in program. I sent, and they signed for, my A20 bluetooth headsets. I was expecting $550.00 - $650.00 trade-in value, per their email to me. After 2 months, I called and asked what the hold-up was. They said sorry, changes in staffing and there was a backlog of processing incoming headsets. Well get back to you in a week or less. 2months go by, I called again. Sorry, well look into the matter and get back. Nothing. At this point, I would like my old headset back, as it worked great. Its not likely that Im going to see them again. I recommend avoiding this company.

I ordered a used Bose A20 headset described as in excellent condition. What I received looked like it had been in an airplane the landed in a lake. The components were corroded, the mic cover was missing, the carrying case looked like it had been dragged for some distance, and it smelled. When I called to complain, I was told I would be sent a new one the following day.A month later, I called to follow up and was told it needed to go through a manager. Not sure why I had to call after a month for that to happen. Now Im being told to return the headset for a refund. So, they wasted 6 weeks of my time and I still have no headset. Never doing business with them again!UPDATE: They sent me a FREE shipping label after 6 weeks to return literal garbage (see pictures) after promising to send me a replacement (see email). So much better than just sending me what I ordered in usable condition. Beware of this company. You get what you pay for.

My Pilot Store has been very easy to deal with. Having ordered products in the past, I knew it would be no problem to order additional items.There was an issue with the delivery of the ordered merchandise arriving due to problems with the United States Postal Service. Chelsey from customer service made it right and had the items resent at no cost to me. She was pleasantly easy to deal with and returned my emails promptly and professionally. 4.0 Customer Service. I purchased a Zulu clock on 1/28 and it was delivered cross country on 2/3, in itself an astonishing shipping time considering the USPS delays that are currently being experienced. Unfortunately, when it arrived a hand had fallen off of the motor shaft and the clear face had a small piece broken off. I sent an email to MyPilotStore and advised them of the issue. I received a timely and very cheery response from Chelsey in Customer Service. She not only apologized for the issue and any delays or inconveniences but she also informed me that a new clock was on its way to me. She also asked if the resolution was acceptable to me and provided me with options of replying to the email or calling (she provided the contact info) if I had any questions or concerns.Customer Service is a large factor in deciding where I shop. Anyone can sell me something that I want but it takes an exceptional organization with world class employees to back that sale up when something goes wrong. Im astonished that someone can be so cheery in an email response when dealing with customers all day long, its a knack that I certainly dont have.Its refreshing to have a business deal with a problem and solve it expeditiously and completely without blaming COVID, shipping, sunspots, etc. Thank you very much for the outstanding customer service Chelsey! I called and was told a manager would look into the matter shortly. A few days after that, the manager tells me I will not be getting a refund of any kind and that I must be mistaken and those pictures must be from another vendor... Huh???

Ordered a David Clark One-X and specialized flashlight overnight to my location because it was a definite emergency. Paid 50.00 in shipping to have both the headset and flashlight arrive inoperative and useless. Called mypilotstore and their answer was to take it up with David Clark. David Clark said yeah, we’ll fix it for a price in a month or so.Thus begins the return fun with mypilotstore.I paid 50 bucks to get broken junk shipped to me by this shady operation. They then make you pay shipping to return said broken junk to them without even a @#$& apology for the massive inconvenience. Return was sent the same day as the RA via UPS and the return was processed A MONTH LATER. Shipped 7/27. Received 8/9 REFUNDED 8/25. No excuse given..just form emails.I want to support local business but this business is a shame and blemish on the entire Phoenix business community. Run, fly, Do whatever you can to buy anywhere else. These types of business practices and utter indifference to the consumer should not be rewarded with our hard-earned dollars.Most big-ticket aviation items are price controlled by the manufacturer so your best deal is the best customer service. Mypilotstore is not that place.

I bought an Ifly 740b gps. First test flight the 12v power cord was inoperable. Called Thursday July 29th to express urgency of Vacation flight starting August 4 .I was promised it would be replaced right away. It is now Aug 3, day before I leave and it has still not been sent, even after I paid for overnight shipping!!! I am tempted to send everything back and keep using my Garmin 396 even though this is Mypilotstore fault of not doing what they say!

Terrible customer service. I bought 3 shirts they were too big just wanted a smaller size. Should have checked the gut and went with Amazon however I’m all for giving a small pilot shop a go. Big mistake! Steer clear, this $60 order turned into $100 for 3 shirts!!!!!!!! Holy!!!! Not including the shipping costs it was about $50 a shirt in the end. Disputing with the credit card company for the scam they pulled.

Made an order in Feb. UPS lost order and refunded mypilotstore. I have sent numerous emails and made many phone calls only to be told that they have been refunded by UPS and will send this to their supervisor to deal with. Then a week goes by and still nothing. To this day, I am still battling for my refund. Will try wish.com next time for quicker service.

Aside from my first order a month prior showing up damaged (bad stitching on a bag handle, I repaired it myself because I didn’t have time to wait for them to exchange it).I ordered a headset and sent it back within the 60 day return window. Someone named Andrew signed for the return on May 5. I first called May 18th to see why I had not received the refund. I was told he would look into it. I called again on the 19th and was told they couldn’t find the return and would keep looking. I even sent an email with the shipping records that they had received I have now called twice without any return response from them.I’ll gladly change my mind if they find the return and refund the $1,045.00 I paid for the Bose Headset.

Bought a flight jacket based on their phone attendants recommendations. Turned out the person didnt know what she was talking about and I ended up receiving a flight jacket that was too big. I returned it, at my expense, and they even acknowledged receiving it. Its been over three weeks and they havent refunded my money. Interesting enough, they erase from their website a negative review I made about them. Bottom line, they give you false info, they dont take responsibility for their mistake, the cost of their mistake comes out of your pocket, and they wont give you a refund.

Customer Service is getting harder and harder to find. Not a concern doing business with MPS. I placed an order, immediately realizing I could bundle what I wanted and save money. I immediately contacted MPS and explained my error. Having been burned before I was concerned my error was to cost me again. I ordered through their website and they said it would be ready in a 1/2 hour for p/u. I live on the other side of the valley and drove all the way there only to be told it was out of stock and they dont know when theyre going to be receiving new ones. They credited back the charge which was nice, but it was still a wasted trip that couldve been avoided had they kept me posted on the status.Ive never have had any problems before and Ill definitely have to think twice before I purchase through them again. I would have rated higher if they wouldve kept me posted on the status of my order.

I purchased a pre-owned Lightspeed Zulu 3 headset. Unlike Ebay, MyPilotStore isnt able to provide photos of the used items (I asked) so youre kind of buying blind. The price was too good to pass up, though, so I took a chance and purchased the headset. The condition was fantastic, much better than some of the comparable headsets on Ebay but MyPilotStore had an even lower price.

After, let’s say, a week, they send an email saying there’s a delay, you can get a refund. “Oh well you say, I’m here now, if I wait another week”. 3 weeks later another email: sorry, still no stock. You check the website- it says item in stock.They keep kicking this can down the road selling products they don’t have hoping that the customer doesn’t run out of patience.

This is the authentic Commando sweater I bought this Christmas season. I am so proud of it because it is authentic but not wool, impractical for a young guy. I bought 4, two for our son and one each for our grandsons. Our son had one years ago and wore it out. This is the first one that worked. Highly recommend. Never bought anything previously from MyPilotStore, but they had a product I wanted, but was temporarily on back-order. I left my e-mail and asked them to let me know when the item came in.I got that e-mail and rushed to their Web page and ordered the product (which right now is extremely hard to get). However, another shop had pre-charged my credit card for the same item, and my order with MyPilotShop was declined.Instead of cancelling my order, they sent me a post telling me what had happened, and worked with me most of that day, with my bank, to make sure the account was fixed, and my order went through. Not only that, but when the order DID go through, they made sure it was shipped that same evening!The staff was very welcoming and encouraging, and really helped my get this product. And in my book, thats the way to do business. I will going back to their site for more purchases!

Placing an order with this company was the worst mistake of my life. I have 2 pages of notes regarding me calling, emailing, and sending messages through their Facebook messenger about receiving a refund for my return. I’d write the full story but it’s a nightmare. Worst customer service ever. I was told today they could possibly refund it but they’d charge me a 40% restocking fee. The product I ordered was over $1000. Read the other negative reviews. Don’t risk ordering from here. Go to Sporty’s instead.

Ive had a horrible experience with MyPilotStore. I bought a Bose A20 in November of 2020, and traded in my Telex 850 for the $150 rebate, plus another $150 rebate from Bose. My headset was received the first week of December 2020 and I havent heard from myPilotStore since. Ive called four times and only gotten through once, to have someone tell me they would email me an update by close of business that day. No email and still no rebate from myPilotStore, and here we are February 2021. Safe to say worst customer experience Ive had buying an aviation product. Ill tell my friends to avoid this place for purchasing headsets or other things they may need for the flight deck.

Great service and advice. My hearing protector ear cups arrived quickly. I was told it would be difficult to put these on, but with my husbands help we got them on and I was able to mow my lawn afterwards. I have had these DC protectors for so many years, have used them to cut wood, etc and they have served me so well I just had to rejuvenate them. The rating is for the customer service I received from Nicole at MYPILOT STORE. I ordered three Hotwheels toy airplanes by Mattel. Mypilotstore let me know the product was on back order and would be for some time. As time went by and I checked in on my order, Nicole responded immediately to my inquiries and kept me abreast of expected delivery. When Mattel did not come through on one of the toys, Nicole sent the remainder of my order and did not charge me. She certainly didnt have to do that. BUYER BEWARE! My experience with MyPilotStore.com was terrible. I paid for 2 day shipping, they sent me a defective product (I took photos), I called immediately, and then at least twice more, sent an email with photos requesting a return authorization, which they dragged their feet on sending, and they failed not only to refund the monies for two-day shipping, they also withheld monies for return shipping. Unbelievably poor customer service.MyPilotStore did NOT stand by their product, did not communicate timely, did not honor what was promised to me, and kept funds that were rightfully owed to me.I submitted all of this in a review to their website, and they have yet to reach out, post my honest review, or make this right. In fact, they have censored my review. Horrible service. I ordered a very expensive lambskin jacket and it came with the entire inside seam on the right arm ripped. I tried to get a return authorization and after FOUR days of not hearing from them, I submitted my request again. They then sent me an email asking me to submit a return request. I have a standing order for charts and AFDs. Recently I received an envelope from My Pilot Store which only contained an invoice. It was nicely sealed with packing tape so I thought someone had an off day. I sent an email that was answered by Chelsey Davis from Customer Service. She immediately checked to see the weight of the package at her end. The AFD was packed but somehow in shipping the envelope opened. It was taped shut and delivered by USPS. Chelsey made this whole thing right by immediately sending out a new AFD at no charge, even though it was the fault of the USPS. This once again reminds me why I do business with My Pilot Store. Starting to fly again. Ordered about $180 worth of stuff from MyPilotStore. Sectionals, fuel tester and all the things you need to startup again. After 10 days nothing arrived. I checked the website and the order status was something akin to not processed. I called asked for an explanation and the CSR said they didnt know, maybe it was a CC issue. Would I like to talk to a manger? Yes. Waited on hold for 10 mins and they came back and said he wasnt available but he would call me back. An hour later I called again, and was told they didnt know where the manager was... I wrote to them on their chat app, they said the manager would be in touch, at which time they charged my card and shipped my order. The CSRs were totally unhelpful, they didnt upgrade my shipping they didnt reply. I didnt want the order at this point, but since I thought someone was going to get in touch ie well find out why it didnt go through, probably a CC issue and deceptively processed the order. Dont by from them, turns out lots of people have had similar experiences

Ordered 2 of the Remove before Flight keychains and finally received them. Seems the post office couldnt find my address on the first shipment, which is understandable because I have only lived here for 42 years. ?? Anyway, MyPilotStore sent me an email explaining that they had the package returned and very promptly checked it over and sent it out again. Nice people and the package arrived in 2 days this time. Keychains are very nice and will be a good reminder to remove the camera cover on my DJI Mavic Air 2 before powering on.

As a flight instructor, I constantly look for the best price on products for myself and my students. My Pilot Store has the best price on almost all of their available products. I provide my students their initial sectional charts and this company gets them out for the best available price and NO SHIPPING! Thank you My Pilot Store! Through no fault of there own, the USPS shipment of charts was damaged and some (not all) of the charts were missing. My inquiry with customer service was answered with new charts being shipped. As simple as that. Ive said it before....these folks are great and I recommend them to everyone in aviation.

I have always blindly gone to Sportys for most everything aviation. That is until I found MyPilotStore.com. I recently was buying an aircraft and needed to purchase a handheld Nav-Com. I chose the Yaesu 550L and found the best pricing and quickest turnaround at MyPilotStore. However, my purchase of the aircraft fell through with the Nav-Com arriving the same day. I no longer had need for the radio and MyPilotStore quickly and easily issued a RMA. Ill find another aircraft and MyPilotStore will be my first stop for accessories. Ordered Logitech G Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, Throttle, and Rudders Bundle to help expose my two children to flying. The first Flight Yoke arrived and didnt work. MyPilotStore replaced, but after a misunderstanding, sent back my same Flight Yoke (which still didnt work, of course!) But I spoke with Chelsey and Nicole. They were super patient with me. I was afraid Id have to jump through some complicated return process and waste a bunch of time... I was in for a pleseant surprise. They care about customer service!!! I got screwed on this purchase. Paid $200 with tax for flight simulator yoke, received and it was defective. They would not pay shipping to return. I had to pay $70 to ship back and looks like they took out a restocking fee so I only got $154 refund which took almost a month to get back. Would not orderfrom here again.

Their 110% price match guarantee is legitimately false advertising. They straight up lie and make up any excuse to not match anything, from saying that the policy that excludes certain manufacturers from price matching actually excludes all manufacturers and they say things like well their (free) shipping says it will get there on Friday and ours (not free) is 3-5 days, which will get it there... Friday. Since they dont have the same shipping as us we cant match their price on the item.This is the last time I will order anything from them if they want to be that dishonest and straight up lie about their policies.Other than that their prices were within $10-20 of everyone else and shipping was average. I ordered with them because they were the only place with everything I wanted in stock at the same time, but with slightly higher prices and their non-existent price match guarantee. It wasnt worth cancelling the order but I prefer not to do business with companies with no standards who cant stand by guarantees that they advertise at the top of the page.
