Made a routine oil change nice and routine. Cant ask for much more. They warned that my tread was pretty low and my wheels were a bit out of alignment but didnt push it when I told them I wasnt going to be buying tires that day.

I went for the wheel alignment for my new set of tires. They were so courteous and friendly and they finished before the time they gave me. Also when all other places required appointment, they take walk in. Cost of tire alignment ..cant remember but it was less than $100.

I had Sears Automotive mechanics at Chicago Ridge Mall replace my 4 old tires with 4 brand new Michelin tires.Mechanics are knowledgeable in their products, are pleasant, and put on my new tires on my car very well.Great service!

I had a coupon for an oil change, so i thought I would give them a try. Very pleased with the prompt, courteous, knowledgeable service. I took my other car back and bought a new battery. Will definitely go back in the future.

When here for a road side emergency situation. My father-in-law had a blowout and took the tire here. They were busy but the cashier guy himself took it to the back and since I bought a new tire he took out the blown one and replaced with the new one right away. Definitely good service

I ordered some tires off Amazon and not only did these guys do their jobs well, but did so in a friendly, professional and extremely efficient manner. In 45 minutes they removed old rubber, threw the Ohtsus on, balanced them and reinstalled the wheels. I was pleasantly surprised and will come back for more work!

Called 4 different tire hops for a patch on one of my tires at 4pm on a Saturday, nobody would take me til Monday and nobody would do it for less than $40. Called Sears Auto and they said they had no wait and I could come whenever. Got there and also had an oil change done and for the patch and change it was only $41! 10/10 will be going back.

By far the best Sears auto center Ive been to in years. Jeff is the guy to see. He knows his stuff. Jeff brings back Sears level of service it used to be back in the day. If there was a good guy like this in every Sears location Sears would benefit. Thanks Jeff. A++ I would highly recommend that you see him . The Sears location was clean. It had ample parking. Restrooms were clean. Staff was great. Ill be there for most of my vehicle services.

I bought a new tire through Amazon and they were supposed to do the installation. IT WENT FLAT THE NEXT DAY. And since it happened on a weekend, I had to ride around on a spare for days. When I called to demand an explanation, the person who picked up didn’t seem at all surprised. My guess is they kept the new one to resell and gave me a used one. What a bunch of scammers. They will be refunding me.

Sears has gone way down hill in the past few years. I attempted to purchase tires online twice and have them installed at this location. There was a pretty good discount on tires and a tire rebate that was for online-only orders so I needed to make the order online. The first order was auto-rejected because no one at the store accepted the order. Fine. Stupid, but ok. No where on the site does it say make sure to purchase tires during the open hours of the Auto Center you plan to install them at. The second time I made the order I showed up in the middle of the day to the store after the order was placed and made sure they had my order and that everything was fine. Everything looked fine and the store accepted my order and my appointment time. Of course when I showed up for my appointment today all I had was an appointment and the tires had never been paid for. How is it that I can show up in person and have my order and appointment confirmed and then have the order auto-rejected again. Very poor service, useless online ordering system. Why offer tires online and then not sell them? Never again.

Just had all my 4 tires replaced at this place on my BWM 4 series. My service adviser was Deshon Young who was very courteous, knowledgeable, he also did Brake inspection and alignment check. I am very satisfied with the work done, I am not sure about all the negative reviews on here as everyone i interacted with was very knowledgeable. Keep up the good work guys at Sears Auto Center!!

Terrible customer service. I stood there for 15-20 minutes this morning to purchase windshield washer fluid as its convenient on my way to work. The guy took care of one customer ahead of me, then proceeded to file through 3 phone calls. I simply left irritated as 3 other people were just standing around not doing anything at all.

My go to. These guys are mechanics, not perfessional therapist. Their customer service is straight forward and can be a little rough for some; but, I have not had an issue here yet. Been going here for years. I like that it is in Woodfield and I can drop of my truck and just go walk the INDOOR mall, instead of just sitting in a Lobby watching a 27 Inch monitor with local channel talk shows... Service has always been good here as well. Keep up the good work, I hope they never close this down. I have seen other Sears location close but the auto center remaind open.

I went in for an oil change today and my Bluetooth aux cord went missing, Ive never had any issues with this place until today. I asked the associate How does it go missing when its plugged in? What it just flew out the car? He replied with Maybe, its possible. Ive had it plugged in for months now, I used it on my way there, never has it fallen out. I was wondering why some of my stuff was thrown under the car seat that day. This one star stays until I get this resolved.

You guys are lucky youre in business with an attitude like that. My girlfriends sister booked an appointment on their website for an oil change at 4 pm on Saturday with their $19.99 oil change coupon. She got there at 2:30 pm to drop off the car and told them shes early cause she will be shopping in the mall for a few hours. They right away told her she didnt have an appointment and they are swammped and their location doesnt take online reservations even though when you go to their web page they are listed as one of the places to make an appointment. The guy also said he could not honor the $19.99 special be cause it did not have the bar code or coupon code. I looked at the offer and all it states is present this $19.99 coupon to the associate with no mention of a code. She also got her front head light replaced at a labor rate of $40 plus parts so she spent $85 in total. The place was super dead with hardly any cars or employees working by the way. They ended up calling her at 3:30 to let her know everything was done and she could pick up the car. I went back with her to pick up the car and the guy started acting the same way and I asked him to call his boss/corporate any one who could take care of this and he argued for a good 10 minutes and finally the guy got tired of arguing and discounted the oil change to the correct price. I even advised him the reason I showed up was not because of the amount but it was the principle which he did not care to hear. I posted the coupon on their Google page for everyone including Sears corporate to see.Also to management, you reply to your 5 star comments but not your 1 star or 2 star comments. That basically tells us customers you choose not to correct the problems and dont care for your customers whove been wronged. I now see where the reps get this attitude from. No one in my family will ever walk in to a Sears for anything ever....

I just wanted to give 5 stars to the manager Mike. I was at a different sears location where I encountered some problems and no manager on duty. I called Woodfield location spoke to Mike about what happoned and he was vary vary patient and understanding even though my issue wasnt with his location. Right away he offered to help if it didnt work out at the location I was at. The day I called which was a Saturday he was available then almost 2 weeks later I call to thank him and hes right there available again. If every manager was so committed to their positions like Mike is there would be less complaints, more returning customers and more business😊 thank you again Mike for showing genuine concern about my issue🖒

Great service from Sears and Amazon. I was able to find the exact tires I wanted (Michelin Defender) but couldn’t elsewhere for my car. The price was ok but it included installation and balancing in the price of the tires, there is also (now expired) rebate from Michelin website. Installing at Sears I knew will take few hours but there was a cinema open near by. Also got a Groupon for wheel alignment at Sears.

This place can be hit or miss, depends who you get when you arrive. A couple of the guys are great and very helpful. A few others are just terrible to deal with. Not enough workers in the shop. I have waited hours and car still hadnt gotten worked on.

Called Jeff and he told me they’re available till 6pm tonight. As you know, it’s crazy driving near the woodfield mall around Christmas, but I was able to made it in at 5:15 pm after 20 minutes just driving 0.3 miles. When I got in, a person who didn’t even smile or greet me was in there, and told me that they‘re not available although they didn’t have any other customers waiting. Very frustrating experience and very bad customer service!!

Just called to see how much it was to balance all four tires. First answer was $102. Then I questioned him about the price why is it so high. Just because someone calls to see how much something is doesn’t mean they don’t have idea of average prices which are 45-65$ . He went silence because he knew he was just ripping me off idiot then he tells me $62.99. Sears auto has a bad reputation for bad customer service. I wouldn’t be surprise if they close this one down too.

I wish that I had read these reviews before bringing my car to the shop. Sears auto Center damaged my car didn’t repair it. What an awful experience. I would not advise having Sears auto Center in Schaumburg work on your car.I’m not the kind of person to leave reviews, today must be the exception. My mechanic used in impact wrench on my locking lug nut. Had he used finesse I would not have suffered the last months worth of work trying to undo his mistake.The shop had the audacity to blame over torqued lug nuts, rather than addressing a lack of training with their staff.

Made an appoint for 11 am to have my tires balanced, rotated and and flat repair and was told it would take an hour. When I arrived I was told it would take two hours because they only had one person working even though I counted at least six employees walking around. I explained to Jeff I had an needed to be done by 1 pm as I had another appointment elsewhere and he assured me it would be fine. After 90 min I asked how it was going and was told they haven’t even started on my car. I dealt with Jeff (hopefully he is not the manager).I watched him and three other employees litterally do NOTHING the entire time except sit in the office, another employee sat in the waiting room watching tv and talking on the phone for at least an hour. This place is horrible and has the worst customer service. I witnessed the phone ring at least six times and watched employees walk right by ignoring the calls. The wash room was also disgusting there was feces in the toilet and floors were filthy, the waiting room was no better, food on chairs and floor. After two hours Jeff came out and told me they are checking on it now and that there was no need for the balancing or rotation because the treads were all the same which I know is a lie because one of the tires is at least two years newer than the other and no way would it have the same tread. He just didn’t want to do the work because it was all covered by waranty. This place is a complete sham

I had appointment today for car alignment and tires rotation, first I was waiting 20 min to someone help me there, then when my car was finished I drove home my air conditioner not working, not give cold Air, when I was drive there it was work no problem, what they did I don’t know, but I’m sure they did something. Dont go to this place. They dont honor online scheduled appointments. Useless online scheduling system. No one picks the phone attentively. After few tries got some and he said hold and was disconnected. Rude customer service. I gave 2nd chance and booked my appointment online and been there 10 mins before my appointment. I was told one of the staff is off that day and they cant fix my car and even they dont see my appointment after all. Dont waste your time. Forget this place. Totally WORTHLESS.

OMG I went to Autozone to check my battery say it was bad at 750 cca so they tell me go to sears bc is was thier battery warrenty so I went to sears Jamie dept manager he tells me says battery good so I tell it does not work all the time in the cold weather he had a bad attitude bc I was not buying nothing he look at me dirty look raising his voice he tell me not my problem buy a new one so I left went to Orielys and I watch test the battery it was bad broken inside welds so I pay for a new one you lost me and my family and friends never to shop at sears expecally manager Jaime Ayala working thier !!!!! If I can give them no stars I would. I went to them for a oil change was told they would call when done after an hour I came back and not only was the oil change not done but they told me I had leaks from everywhere and it was dripping on my engine and will start a fire. I asked where was the leak from they just said what had oil on it. I went to see repair shop the next morning whom raised my car in the air and showed me not a leak in place even wiped off everything I was told was leaking smh mechanic told me nothing was wrong with my car even waived the fee to just look at it stated to me they really denied my car because it was older only 2002. I went to sears a 2nd time and they denied me again after a HR wait they didnt do my oil change because they heard a noise under hood hence I came 40 min before closing since I called and was told I can come in, before I left I asked what sound do u hear because I hear nothing they stated well I heard it before bs.the very next day i went to sears auto center in Stratford not only did they do the oil change and told me as well as gave me a copy of everything they checked on my car. There were no issues!
