Definitely 5 star coffee shop! Stopped in while vacationing in Sarasota. Loved that they welcome you with a warm greeting. Clean atmosphere, amazingly good mocha and house coffee. They have fresh pastries, bagels etc. Our family ordered a cherry cheese danish, chocolate muffin and egg & ham bagel of which all were yummy. Fresh. Recommend if you’re in the area!

I had been searching far and wide for a sweet potato pie and couldnt find anything. I called Pastry Art up and spoke with them and let them know I was in dire need of some pie as I had an urgent request from the preggo girlfriend. They came through, despite the busy schedule, and I couldnt have been more happier. Great presentation, great taste and great service!

Pastry Art is a convenient spot in the heart of DT Sarasota where to can grab a hearty breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and cozy.

By far the BEST sweet potato pie I’ve had in a long time!

Wow love it here. Came back twice in one day. As a baker myself I appreciate a good bake and attention to flavor. We had breakfast sandwiches in the morning that were phenomenal with cheddar cheese. Came back in the afternoon had an incredible macaron (great legs!) and a cinnamon bun with maple glaze 🤤. Friendly and kind service offered amazing recommendations both times. Offers table seating two comfy arm chairs and outdoor seating too! 10/10 would reccomend.

Cool 😎 neighborhood place to grab coffee or lunch. Worth seeking out to visit! I was impressed. They have outdoor dining!

Very catchy name but doesn’t live up to its name. There are plenty of raving reviews for this place but pastries are subpar. Latte was amazing but croissant was dry. Price and quality don’t match. Priced as a fancy place for regular pastries. Also it would have been nice to see many more choices of pastries here. Over all, we were not impressed.. it is an okay place but not the best as the sheer number of reviews suggest.

Just found this awesome coffee shop. It is a little small but thats ok because I take it to go. The food is good I had a breakfast bacon egg n cheese sandwich.

Amazing atmosphere. Oh my gosh...so many choices on the pastries. Yummy coffees. Excellent service. A must visit. Soup was delicious,too. They have sandwiches also.

WOW! This place was really great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Muffins were awesome, dense, and perfectly sweet.

Was looking for some fresh baked sweet pastries Googled this bakery and was not disappointed. Inside and outside seating is available, everything tasted good a bit pricey, but overall is great, regular latte was good to. Parking can be a little problem on a busy day.

Went here for breakfast and coffee for the first time on Saturday. Food and coffee were excellent. But the blueberry donut omg. Yum. Will be back soon. In a world that is short staffed they seem to have a good crew. Yay.

Paige came through for us Big time! We live in Indiana and she designed a cake we wanted for our Great Friends Birthday! She made it easy to do, communicated well and the cake looked and tasted amazing! Highly recommend!

This place was great. We went twice while vacationing here. We had a cream cheese bagel, vanilla latte, mango tea? Raspberry tea, Blueberry muffin and a croissant. All of which were wonderful!

Excellent mom and pop coffee shop with yummy coffee cocktails, teas, pastries, and sandwiches. They also have very kind and professional staff with smiles on their faces. :) within walking distance of other downtown attractions. The latte is amazing!

Coffee is delish. The pastry case is down right dangerous. We had chicken salad plate and cuban sandwich. The cuban was so yummy. Nice folks work there too. And you can eat outside.

Ive been here many times and always enjoyed it. Today the espresso muffin was dry. We went there especially for these as usually theyre great. It put us off in case theyre going to be like that all the time in future. We like the seating and the staff were friendly. Disappointed.

I have been going to the Pastry Art for quite a while now. Their coffee is wonderful as if their food. And they have good outdoor seating. However, the past few times I have been in there, some employees are wearing their mask under their nose and there are several customers in line to order not wearing a mask. One mask less lady came in behind me this morning and was greeted as a regular. So I think I will be looking elsewhere for my weekend latte and pastry for a while.

This Main Street hangout is about as good as it gets for coffee and freshly made (on premisis) baked goods. Staff is great. Owner cares and runs a tight ship.

We decided to try Pastry Art since we are visiting from out of town and love to support local. The pastries were super dry and bland. Kind of sad because the shop is so cute.

Love this place! Good variety of caff and decaff coffee and no hassle to get a refill. Always make it a point to buy some of their croissants to take home and there is always something to choose from to go with my coffee for early morning or lunch. Plenty of outdoor tables and chairs and fresh air. Indoors works for some as well.

Went in for a cup of coffee...Had an awesome muffin. Would be 5 stars but half of the huge coffee dispensers were empty. Couldnt get the brew I wanted.Id go back...maybe they just got behind with keeping the coffee fresh.

Great local cafe for delicious pastries and excellent coffee. Tasty lunches are available. We are frequent customer because there’s nice outdoor seating. Only major complaint during this pandemic: some staff at the cash register don’t wear masks correctly leaving their nose uncovered. Nose breathing as well as mouth breathing can spread the virus.Ok Pastry Art. I’m done. Walked into your cafe 3 more times over last couple weeks. And walked out. Your front counter staff still have their mask pulled way below their nose so you obviously don’t care about today’s health safety. You’ve just lost a few customers.

Definatly wont ever be going back to this place. Just went in and ordered a large iced cappuccino and the blond barista very rudely blurted out Really?!, making a scene and extremely off putting. I asked if there was a problem and was told that they usually dont make them, which I find strange as I went in this past Thursday morning and was made one politely without any bad attitude. Will be happily spending my money elsewhere.

Friendly staff, good food, and great service. As I observed the place, they greeted their locals knowing what they might want, answered all questions anyone had. Was my first time coming, my parents come here when in town and I made sure to come check it out. Very happy

I tried the Raspberry Coconut Chocolate Cake and was thoroughly impressed. The chocolate was smooth and the raspberry added a nice twist. The chef even came out and advised me in what to get!

Pastry Art is my downtown go-to spot for great coffee, pastries and sandwiches. I enjoy playing guitar at the outside seating area and snackin on a pressed Cuban or Balkan express!!!

Went to visit the area and was in the mood for a molten lava cake, so I looked around and I saw this place had one on their menu. When I arrived, they had just ran out of them so I was offered a different slice for the inconvenience. So that was really nice. The cake itself was not overly sweet, perfectly moist, and was absolutely delicious.

I got a latte there and it was delicious! Such a cute place right on Main Street to hang out outside with a friend.

Thought it looked really good ordered a sandwich and they told me 10 mins after ordering it they didn’t have the bread for my Sandwich so I paid extra just get crepes instead and asked for Nutella and strawberry’s (there’s a sign that says build your own crepes) he said I have to get blueberry a or bananas on it also so I got blueberry a cause bananas disgust me. I get my crepe and it has strawberry’s bananas blueberry a and cream cheese so we go inside to say it was supposed to be Nutella and no bananas and they bring it back out and say they carefully took off the bananas so I put it in the trash cause it took me 20 mins to get the complete wrong thing.

My favorite morning cafe for the best coffee in Sarasota and the friendliest staff around.

Visited several times and enjoyed their oat milk lattes but after an employee treated my son very rudely (while she was not wearing a mask) and yelled at her coworker, we won’t be back.

Lovely spot for breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Lots of outdoor seating.

I heard somewhere that Sarasota has more restaurants per square mile than any other county in Florida. This is my favorite by far. Also has the best chai tea latte

Great cafe in the center of downtown Sarasota. Its connected to the Main Bar so this is another location where you can get their fantastic sandwiches, but its also a great place to get a coffee and a pastry.

Has great outside seating. Can get very crowded inside. If you have a sweet tooth come here because the food and drinks are very sweet. Servers are polite and fast. Preping station can be very dirty with straws, spilt coffee, sugar everywhere on the table.

What a gem! Great iced coffee and the pastries....oh-la-la!!! Too good. I almost wished I hadnt found this place but the upside is that I dont live here. Thank goodness or Id be in serious trouble!

Best peanut butter cookies on earth. Staff is super friendly and were uber patient when our kids wouldnt make up their minds.Everything is delicious here--especially the sandwiches. Try the gazpacho as well--best in class.Dine inside or outside. Have a full meal or coffee/muffin. Either way you must stop in while visiting Sarasota.

Our running group goes there on Saturdays for coffee and a pastry or a breakfast sandwich. They offer a variety of coffees and their muffins and pastries are second to none. We have ordered a number of birthday cakes and a wedding cake here and they have always been perfect. They get my vote for the best in Sarasota.

Best Reuben Ive ever had! They suggested spicy mustard instead of 1000 Island Dressing and Im glad they did!

First time Ive been disappointed. Been coming for years.Why ask if my order is for here or to go if we all get paper cups? Paper cups?! Part of the reason I come here is proper crockery. If I want a paper cup, I can go to a chain.Also, why ask names for the orders and then not use them? Calling out completed orders when more than one person has ordered the same drink = confusion and, potentially, 2 dissatisfied customers.I hope next time is better.

Great mochas! Literally addicted. It is a hit or miss though, depending on the barista you either get a beautiful cup like below, or just foam. When its done right its absolutly fantastic.

My boyfriend had a cinnamon roll and I have apple turnover and some iced caramel mocha. The cinnamon roll was dry and the coffee wasnt the greatest. The apple turnover was okay.

Food was dry. Tasted plain and seemed as if no effort was put into baking. Food is over priced and saw a few people with no masks on. Such a shame ones do not take this pandemic seriously. Would not recommend

Right in the heart of downtown Sarasota is a wonderful little cafe and bakery. It has indoor and outdoor seating both very comfortable. The air conditioning is adequate indoors and although the bakery items are of reasonable quality, good enough for my consumption they are not super inventive or unusual. The cappuccino is excellent however and the service is also. Whether youre by yourself meeting a friend or lover you will have good ambience, good coffee and the good point of reference for anything downtown Sarasota.
