After checking out this buddy brew Ive been to all of the Tampa area region and have to say the consistency of the mating and the quality of coffee is great. Their Cold brew is one of my favorite so smooth and bold, you really hardly need any milk or cream in it . Super super delicious !looking forward to coming back. I got there when they were getting ready to close so I had to walk around with it . Aso this ocation is unique because its right under a parking lot so its not open but still nice and quiet to sit. They some seating . Next time im getting an espresso drink . ☺👍

My dad and I have been coming here for around 6 years or more... consistently the best coffee around... and they always have yummy snacks!! We vacation here in Siesta Key in a family home. Quite a craft coffee shop... very impressive... never a disappointment

Visited again! Below is a review I did 7 months ago. Having an opportunity to see the product and taste it, I can recommend it. Flavor profile is darker than my preference. Oat milk and almond milk were all out as well. Milk is absolutely steamed correctly. Staff are also super personable and friendly.Enjoy the little pop up shop feel. Wonderful product. Some milk is steamed well, others, not so much. Prices were a little too high for consistent visits. Still a fun little place!

Really cool little coffee shop, not a lot of indoor space but plenty of outdoor seating. That being said there is some seating inside if you prefer to stay out of the Heat. The coffee shop has a really great aesthetic and is an awesome place to pick up a cold brew coffee or hot coffee if your liking. I would definitely recommend checking out Sarasota Buddy Brew Coffee, a coffee shop worth visiting.

Great selection of coffee, I found the pour over to be really strong though. They are pretty good at roasting. Price is competitive.But the surrounding areas and places to sit around the coffee shop are very nice!

A chain born in Tampa,and a Starbucks wannabe invading our beautiful Sarasota.The so called fresh brewed coffee was tepid and tasted like the bottom of the pot.A small selection of pastries,seem like an after thought hardly worth the price.Carry out cups cheap and unappetizing.Seating ,all tables and chairs were comfortable.Service average.Off street parking plentiful.AWARDED 1 YUM ON A SCALE OF 3

Latte was pretty good, good sort of coffee for espresso and milk was not overheated. Really great job, barista!

The affogato was divine. My girlfriend got the mocha and it was a really high quality chocolate flavor without being too sweet. Very well done!

Ordered a cortado and it had great taste and aroma not too acidic. They also have a small selection of beans and we got the joyride. Beans were roasted just a couple of days ago

Loved this place! Came by twice on my stay—first got the mango iced tea which was the best I have ever had and second day tried their cold brew. Bought some beans to take home. You have to try this place! Also both times the staff was very nice and fun to talk too

I got the cold brew recently and it was amazing. Also has the best pumpkin spice latte! Cutest place, and a great atmosphere to sit down with a friend, hang out, or work and study.

Being from out of town, we love stoping at local coffee shops to try new things. They have a delicious drink of espresso with a scope of ice cream! It was so good. The staff was also really friendly and made the experience great. Highly recommended.

What a cute place!!! Amazing coffee!! We asked around for the best coffee and everyone sent us to Buddy Brew. Its tucked under a parking garage in downtown Sarasota and is a neat little (and I mean LITTLE) spot. We are always in search of amazing coffee shops and this one was exceptionally awesome from the coffee right down to the staff—no one made us feel like we were unworthy of their coffee, as many of these places do. The baristas were extremely nice. We got two lattes, one hot and one iced, a croissant, and the veggie quiche. Im a quiche fanatic and love seeing how little places like this serve it. The coffee was delicious, croissant perfection, and the quiche...wow. They serve little personal sized quiches in foil pans, warmed just enough, and crustless. Mine was feta, spinach, tomato, and artichoke—YUM!!!! We noticed comfy couches and good tunes in the area outside, perfect for kicking back with your treats since the seating inside is very limited. We enjoyed chatting with the friendly customers while we waited and were out of there quick, on the road with fuel for another day of Spring Break!

Great coffee ☕️ house

The atmosphere is great - its an open area with comfortable, outdoor seating. The baristas were all nice & friendly and the latte tasted good. Plus, we came at happy hour so the latte was only $3! Also, they have very good high speed internet (50Mpbs+ download). I will definitely come back again.

Our favorite coffee shop southwest Florida. We live in Fort Myers, but this is always a must stop on our regular trips up to Sarasota or Tampa.

The people here are always amazing and friendly. And of course, their coffee is AMAZING. I visit this place pretty frequently. It’s a great spot to hang out and do some work or just sit and drink your coffee with friends.

The TBR sandwich was one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had! I read another review about the caramel latte so I decided to try an iced caramel latte. Wow. It is without a doubt the best caramel latte Ive ever had. Its creamy like a milkshake without being overly sweet. I dont even live in Florida but Im gonna become a regular here because of how awesome it is.

Great spot for coffee if you want to eat outside or take it to go. Probably one of the best shops in downtown SRQ if youre an espresso lover!

I have been looking forward to visiting this spot, both my mom and my sister love coffee. We had the expresó with Ice cream, and the cortadito thats expresó with 1/2&1/2 it was delicious and perfecto. Nice and relaxing sipping time 💕😁 very nice Baristas!

A bit tough to find it’s connected to a parking garage but i loved the hole in the wall allure of the shop, the drink i got (Oat, mocha latte) was great as well, staff was super kind!

Love the coffee, ABSOLUTELY HATE THE FACT that you have four signs at the door that there is a city wide mandate for masks to be worn inside the establishment, yet, yesterday when came in there were people without their masks on inside, chatting it up and obviously living in a different dimension where there is no pandemic?!?! It’s August people, we’ve been at it for months now and you still haven’t bought yourself a mask?! and the barista claims they were “friends” so it’s “ok”?! NO WAY, where was the manager? Is anyone taking this seriously! Putting guests and coworkers in danger! Get a grip.

Buddy brew has a very unique set up and that’s why I as well as many others enjoy their time sipping coffee there. Outside seating w/ a parking garage above so you don’t get wet if it rains!

The atmosphere of buddy speaks to a great cup of coffee but unfortunately the brew does not deliver. The americano I got was near flavorless, despite only being in 8oz of water (which is what I had and recommend others to try with theirs to get the most flavor). The coffee was bitter, and felt higher in acidity, a lightly burnt taste, and a classic flavor profile (a little chocolatey , nutty, woody). In a rare move, I did not end up finishing the drink. I know not to judge all brews by a coffee shop’s espresso, and will give buddy brew an other chance but my first taste was average at best.

Went here for the vegan donuts that come from Halelife Bakery. This place is very difficult to find and has no parking. There is a garage right next to it but cost $5, sorry, not worth visiting a coffee shop for $5 parking. I will say, the vegan donuts from Halelife Bakery were delicious, but I will never return to this coffee shop because of the location.

A great spot for a morning coffee (and dog friendly!). It’s open to the outdoors and well shaded - ideal for a little rest after a morning run. The service was fairly average - friendly, about what you would expect. I would go again when back in the area.

It bums me out to give them only 2.5 stars. They have awesome coffee but some of the service has been snooty and in need of an upgrade. The guy who was making lattes the morning after Christmas must have been having a bad day. I love the lattes at buddy brew, but I ordered an extra hot one to go, and the guy forgot to make it extra hot, lied about it and said he did. When he re-made it extra hot, idk what happened, but it tastes burnt. A 5$ coffee I can’t even drink. Not to cool😔

Best modern take on coffee in downtown Sarasota! If Starbucks no longer provides the fix for ya, you are left with two options. Kahwa or Buddy Brew. Personally, I prefer Buddy Brew because of the awesome lounge area right in the heart of downtown, and because of their proximity to all the hot spots. Being able to always park your car in the public parking garage is a HUGE plus. Staff are friendly but not very talkative, I think they get a little engrossed in their music. The coffee shop is a little cramped, but the lounge area outside more than makes up for that. I love their cold brew! From a coffee standpoint, its fairly neutral with just a bit of fruit to it. Very delicious on a hot summer day. If youre ever parking your car in downtown Sarasota, save yourself the hassle of looking for a spot. Park in the public parking garage, go to the bottom floor, and swing by Buddy Brew!

Glad to find this place for our time here, it’s nice to find a local spot that’s not a Starbucks! Will be here every morning for the next few days till we head home back to Michigan. Give this place a try it’s worth it, excellent roasted coffee flavor, I got the Carmel latte.

The iced late had a very fresh taste and we enjoyed it but the staff could use some improvement. The man seemed annoyed to serve us and my fiance accidentally opened the wrong door only to have eyes rolled at him and arms thrown in the air. It didnt inconvenience the staff cause we fixed the sign he knocked over but a little kinder understanding of customers would be nice. Not sure if well go back.

Minimal fuss inside but I was thrilled to see they offered pour overs, cold brews, French pressed, and even aero-pressed coffee... who does all that?! Loved that. Besides talking the talk Buddy Brew also walked the walk... my selections from there (as well as from my party) emitted a beautiful Espresso aroma. Not too much sweetness (they also had agave!) or creamer. Just right. Ive experienced Buddy Brew Coffee from places around Tampa Bay that offer it and Ive never been disappointed.

This review is for Buddy Brew Coffee. Always on the lookout for good coffee. The espresso bean Cubano is pretty good, a little different tasting but smooth with low acidity. Cappuccino and lattes are made with quality precision, high desity foam and not too hot. Definitely will be back to test other variety of beans.

Very cute, trendy place for fresh coffee, loose leaf tea (iced or hot) and a small selection of sandwiches. Very small inside but gas outdoor seating as well. The barista was super knowledgeable about the blends they serve and helped us make the right selection.
