Margaret did a fantastic job with the hemming - my dress has a lot of lace detailing near the bottom, and she made sure that the detailing of the dress looked gorgeous after it was resized for my height. My dress also has quite a long train, and Margaret was able to design the bustle so that it was only a single button. I would recommend Truly Forever Bridal to anyone looking for a wedding dress.

This was the first place I chose to try on dresses. Since this was my first time, Laura had me try on all different types and really helped me figure out what I liked and what looked best on my body type. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. I was originally drawn to this store because they carry Badgley Mischka. However, I ended up falling in love with a different brand, which I didn’t expect. The store really makes you feel so special by the little things they do. I truly appreciated the welcome sign with my name on it, along with the one in the dressing room. I also love that they give you a robe to wear in between trying on dresses and even give you a gift when you buy a dress. Do yourself a favor and go visit Laura if you’re looking for “the one”.

Hi my name is r u s h i e Marshall and Im getting married on February 12th of 2022 I went in to try on a dress and a person that help me name was Laura and she was so nice to me and I really didnt know what I was looking for but she he is so easy for me to take my dress out me and my best friend went there Laura made us feel so comfortable and so warm and that was the first time that I have went anywhere to try on a dress for my wedding I had so much fun my friend took a couple of pictures when I was trying on my gown and when I got home that day a show the picture to some of my family and friends and they couldnt believe that the Gown that I picked out it fits me and that down is so beautiful and I paid the gown on the second try I only had to look at it two gowns before I chose the Gown that I wanted and that down that I chose it fits me its the one for me I didnt have to go and look at anything else the Gown is so beautiful I wouldnt recommend this bridal shop to anyone whos looking for a wedding gown you wont be disappointed and I have to say thank you Miss Laura again

My experience at Truly Forever Bridal was unmatchable! From the moment I walked into the boutique I felt like the most special bride. There were personalized signs and sweet details personalized especially for my appointment. Laura, my stylist, was amazing! She listened to my vision and immediately knew her inventory and pulled out styles that matched. The amount of wedding dresses seemed to go on forever. There’s no way someone could go in and not find something they loved. The entire staff was very patient, attentive, and kind to me my whole appointment. I loved everything about it!

I bought a dress a few months ago and after I messaged the owner and asked her if we could change the dress before we altered it. I said I would gladly spend more money on a dress that looked like the one I sent her in the picture that was more flattering around the waist and hips and it was a different style than what I chose. It said in the receipt I couldn’t get my money back after it was already altered so I tried changing it before that. She reassured me it would look like the exact same dress and that everyone goes through that and questions. I trusted her and was charged $1000 for the dresss, $650 for alterations and it didn’t look flattering on my chest or waist. It was about two sizes too big and didn’t look anything like the dress I sent her. I reminded her of that and she charged me another $550, and I was told that what I’m asking them to do to the dress changes the entire style which was what I asked before we even altered it....they said it would cost a lot more and when she was done it looked like I was 20 pounds heavier, my cleavage was hanging out and I looked like a giant pillow case and that is not an exaggeration. I told them I was unhappy with it and all of the charges and showed her the saved text messages and she said she wouldn’t refund anything and I could come pick up the dress at any time. Iy was a complete bummer. Don’t believe everything they say, they will say anything to sell a dress. They overcharged on all alterations. I bought a dress online for 154.00, took it to an amazing alterations place and she charged me $500 for everything, it was very large and it looks amazing on me. Don’t waste your money or time here.

Loved my entire experience at Truly Forever! This was my first bridal salon I went to when looking for dresses. Laura and Jules were both amazing to work with. Laura made me feel very comfortable and made the experience fun. Laura was very tentative and knew what dress to put on me next after explaining what I liked and didn’t like on each dress. Before I knew it, Laura pulled out an amazing dress that turned out to be THE one. I didn’t need to try on very many. I had another appointment with another salon but didn’t end up going because I was so happy with my dress and the experience at Truly Forever. Laura was so warm and helpful. It was my first time trying on dresses and she was great at introducing styles to me. I was nervous since I’m a plus size bride but there were dresses to fit me (not a ton, but definitely got a feel!) learned so much and it was a very positive experience overall.

She helped me in and out of dresses and she was really good at pulling dresses I like. They are a business focused on quality and most importantly the bride! I had a small group of people come with me and they were all accommodated for with comfortable chairs. I even had my own mirror section with everyone sitting around. They even allowed us to bring in our own champagne! And they supplied us with real champagne glass flutes for us to use! Words can’t describe how grateful I am for Laura, her flexibility and support! Truly Forever Bridal is the place to go! You will not be dissatisfied!!

It saddens me to write a 3 star review for this store as my overall experience wasn’t terrible but definitely didn’t end 5 stars. I went to this location first, Laura found me two beautiful dresses but I ended up finding “the” dress at the Tampa location. My dress was shipped and my fitting was to be done at the Sarasota location. Their seamstress is AMAZING. After spending over $2000 on my dress, I was a bit shocked when my alteration quote came in at $800 but I understood that it’s an art and was what it was. What rendered the 3 star review was my follow up visit (last appointment). I live over an hour away and between forgetting my shoes and traffic, I was late. (15-20 minutes and called) While Laura literally made me feel like I had my mom helping me pick a dress on the first visit (my family is long distance so I was alone 2 of the 3 visits) I definitely didn’t feel the love on my last visit!! The mood wasn’t great, while the seamstress took her time and really helped me, I felt uncomfortable and almost rushed by Laura. I was getting married in 2 weeks and hoped to spend a little time in the dress in front of the mirror dialing in last minute details but I ended up feeling uncomfortable. My appointment was during the week so it wasn’t busy at all or I would’ve hurried as that’s just the type of person I am. The true reason I took the time to write this review is what happened when checking out/leaving the store. The seamstress kindly hugged me and wished me the best. After paying for the alterations, I gathered by belongings. I had my purse, the receipt I was just handed, my keys, and the shoe box containing my shoes all in my hands. Laura literally draped the dress over my arms and said bye. I was clearly struggling to get to the door and like anyone would be, I was treating my dress like it was worth a million dollars. No one got the door for me. No one offered to help me out to my SUV load my dress or even take it off the top of all the other items I had in my hands. May not seem like a big deal to some but kindness and thoughtfulness go a long way in my book. It left a sour taste in my mouth that someone wouldn’t take the 2 minutes to help carry my dress out with me instead of making me drop all my belongings on the pavement next to my car to get my dress in safely. Maybe it was because I didn’t buy the dress there or maybe it was just an off day but still, I’m a customer, I’m kind, and I trusted this store for one of the most important purchases/experiences I’ll ever have. Regardless, I shouldn’t have left feeling rushed, unappreciated, and awkward as I did. My dress did turn out beautiful and again, the seamstresses work was phenomenal.

I had the most amazing experience finding the wedding dress of my dreams! I can’t believe how amazing the staff was. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and so confident in a way I’ve never felt before in my life! The prices are right, the selection is incredible, and every single person that works there is just outstanding!

I have been to several dress shops and this was by far my worst experience. Besides the dress selection being very low quality, I felt extremely uncomfortable actually trying on the few dresses I deemed worth my time.I am a pretty private/modest person and I told the older lady (one of two women helping me) that I would feel most comfortable to put on each dress alone in the dressing room and then I could call one of them in to zip up the dress/clip it etc. Instead of understanding and obliging to my needs, the woman responded with an attitude and said thats not how we usually do things... I had to again explain myself and tell her that I was uncomfortable getting undressed in front of them. She seemed to accept my request, but shortly after - BOTH women were in the dressing room with me as I started undressing. It may sounds dramatic, but I honestly felt violated and disrespected. I left the store with a pit in my stomach!

I went to the Sarasota store and was helped by Laura and it was absolutely amazing. I am very decisive and wont waste time on something Im sort of considering. I tried on a few that I liked but while I was wearing one, she looked through the dresses and found the most incredible dress. It was the one I said yes to and knew I would from the second I put it on. They dont pressure you about prices, time, being picky, or anything. They served us water, wine, cheese, crackers, and prosciutto, which was amazing. Their dresses are gorgeous, they have a ton of dresses in a back room for evening gowns and bridesmaids, they offer amazing deals ( I got a beautiful veil, my dress, and a dress bag for less than the dress originally was and my groom gets a free tux rental! ), the customer service is unbeatable, the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, and they will help you find your dream dress. 10/10 would a million times recommend.

This is a wonderful place to visit! I havent been to the first and main store in Tampa, but if its anything like this Sarasota location, then its not wonder why they opened another shop.The location is easy to find and the GPS doesnt get you lost so long as you make sure to select the Sarasota location. The store is well organized from the petite, personal welcome sign on the front desk to the dresses to the viewing area. The staff are so friendly it felt like Id known them for years. They were easy to talk to, listened to my ideas, and made suggestions based on my interests and comments.The dresses are gorgeous and for someone who prefers jeans and a t-shirt any day, I was amazed how wonderful an experience I was having.I didnt leave with a dress on this visit but I have more than a year out. However, they gave me a lot to think about and ideas to consider. I recommend this store to everyone.Additional note added 12/31/18:I visited another but smaller bridal shop in Brevard County. Its a great thing I went to Truly Forever first. They didnt have an appointment booked right in front or behind me. They treated me with respect by listening to my thoughts on dresses and were so friendly to my family and friends too. I wish all bridal shops were like Truly Forever.

I had my appointment just over a month ago and I am still so amazed at how my appointment went! I wasnt as excited as a bride-to-be should be I suppose and its because I am SO indecisive and really didnt know how I felt about trying on a bunch of gowns and wasnt sure how a consultant would really know what Id want when I didnt even 100% know. But Laura exceeded my expectations...by far. She was like another mom/friend with me; helping figure out what I like/dont like and even encouraged me to try on some gowns I didnt think Id like. Which ended up being just what I needed because the gown I ended up saying yes to was one, when she first showed it to me, I said nah, its not really me. When she got the gown on me she actually gasped and said wow....before I saw myself I didnt think Id have the same reaction but I did! I didnt think Id really have the moment but I did. It was so unexpected but wonderful.The shop is quaint and homey feeling but also so classy and elegant. We met the owner too and shs was such a sweetheart! They supplied some snacks, water, champagne. They really made it such a delightful and enjoyable experience. I really cannot rave enough about them!....I also need to add because I bought my dress through them during a special promotion, we even got our honeymoon...to Mexico!! FREE! 😁

Laura is an amazing consultant. She is so helpful and sweet. Highly recommend them for all bridal needs from bride to mother of bride!
