Appointment made days in advance for review of some concerns with Mercedes Benz. I explained over 75% of the problems that they were to look into. Yet to see car, they had to perform diagnostic testing which cost $79 dollars since I was a new customer. Fine, dropped off the car 8am and got the car back at 3pm. They held the car all day and gave me a fancy report that showed 3k worth of work with 75% of the things I had told them already. Upon research noticed how they marked up prices double the national averages for the same work. So decided to take my business else where but not before they could mark up my diagnostics test to $98. Which they failed to explain, $79 did not include tax and shop incidentals. So if you like mark up dealer prices, excuses for poor service, and so so customer service this is the shop for you. They might say I am not a customer or make up excuses how 3 techs and owners spent time on my car which makes no sense. A real tech would have performed the diagnostics in 1hr and not hold a car for 6hrs. I guess the shops makes money on diagnostic testing as well beware. Oh thank you for my $6 dollar refund for my troubles.

Wife’s 2014 Volvo had a “battery charging system fault”.They advised us on which tow company to use and fitted us into their full schedule (alternator needed replacing… 75000 miles on car).They were very professional and kept us up to date on the repair process.We have used them before (daughter’s 2004 volvo) and I will definitely be using them again for our regular maintenance services.

I have always had used the local Audi dealership for service. I no longer will after finding this local gem last week.Background:Recently I called Audi to schedule an appointment and they were four weeks out before they could look at my car. I knew exactly what the issue was as it had been diagnosed and quoted previously by the same Audi service manager. Regardless of that, Audi still wanted to charge for another diagnostic before they would even order parts for the repair (again, they had diagnosed the issue a month prior but I didn’t want to make the repair at that time).I found Elite Motor Works on google and called the store, and happened to speak directly with the owner. He asked if I wanted to come by immediately and he’d try to help.I showed up 30 min later and he temporarily fixed the issue on the spot, no charge. But the part was broken and I decided I wanted a permanent fix. I was able to drop the car off a few days later and they fixed it while I waited - only 90 minutes.Had I gone to Audi I would have waited 4 weeks for an appointment, dropped my car for a full day $200 diagnostic, waited a few days for parts, and then waited 2 days for repair.This is not intended to bad mouth Audi, they do good work. But if you want a faster, more personal, and concierge-like experience without the dealer fluff costs, go see EMW.

Really glad I found this shop. Knew as soon as I walked in that this was it. I’ll bet my life that this is one of the top euro car shops in South Florida. Plan on getting all maintenance done here. Bill is the one that helped me out with an exhaust issue ( to be continued ). Bill went out of his way to get a video and photo of the issue so we could contact the manufacturer. The gentlemen working up front are good people. If you’re in the Sarasota area, don’t waste your time going anywhere else.

Ordered rear tires for my BMW and had the tires shipped to their shop. Elite had competitive pricing on the newer version of the Michelin tires that replaced the ones I wanted, but I was particular since I wanted these rear tires to match the front tires which were replaced previously by Elite. I coordinated with the shop so I could get there first thing and wait in their lobby while they mount and balanced the two tires. Had me in and out in under an hour! Great service.

Incredibly efficient and pleasant to work with. They took care of the issues needed and didn’t pressure anything extra on me. I did end up having more done but that was due to their professionalism and the necessity of the work to be done sooner rather than later. I will continue to return and will refer others here as well.

I wanted to get my diesel VW back into primo shape. I called for diagnosis and came prepared to wait. When I arrived, I was not welcomed. I was not told, until much later by the mechanic, that I could help myself to the drinks. The two guys at the counter couldnt be bothered. My estimate was way overblown($4300), Im actually paying a third less elsewhere. I called to go over the estimate and ask for labor charges to be sure my math was correct but I still couldnt explain it and neither could he. Although I had half of it ready that day($2200) Im glad no one was willing to work with a payment plan. My new total for everything is $1600 but theres no fancy waiting room with free water and Im really good with that.

I recently started using their shop for my Audi and theyve already done a couple of small projects for me. Ive been incredibly impressed with the quality of their work, customer service, and attention to detail. Their rates are reasonable for this level of work, in a professional facility. Needless to say, but Ill be using them again.

I recently purchased a used BMW M235i only to have the vehicle throw the dreaded check engine light only a few days after purchase. To make matters worse, I was on a tight timeframe as I needed to travel back to my home in Maryland. The team at Elite Motor Works was very quick to respond. I was able to bring the vehicle in first thing on a Monday morning and identified a crack in the air intake tube. They arranged to get a replacement part delivered overnight and quickly repaired the problem (as well as correcting some issues from some less-than-quality work done by the previous owner!). My daughters car had a check engine light that came on. Gordon called me to advise that they checked in the system and BMW had extended the warranty on the thermostat. They could have just replaced it and I wouldn’t have known any better. Instead they let me know I didn’t need to pay for it and to take it to BMW to be covered under the warranty for that particular part and labor. We will be long time customers of Elite!

Bald-headed gentlemen was not professional at all, was not greeted upon walking inside. Was asked at the front desk “ what do you need done to your car?” I feel as this should’ve already been known during the phone call while setting an appointment. Was also told that I cannot wait in the waiting lobby, and that the car needed to be dropped off, wish I would’ve known this during the phone call. Decided to take my business elsewhere.

The team at Elite is awesome, I had a simple issue with my Toyota 4Runner that I had “fixed” at another shop but it did not go away. Staff very polite, waiting facility comfortable.Coolant serviced as requested.Overcharged for wiper blade replacement.Told rear tires were bald and they are far from it, refused new tires.Dont care for inflated prices (2 wiper blades $222) and adding work not needed (bald tires that have tread).

I just recently moved to Sarasota and needed to do a maintenance on my car. I came across Elite Motor Works and gave them a call. They did not disappoint! Gordon was wonderful and it’s comforting knowing I can take my car in for any kind of service and they will be honest with me.

After a misdiagnosed issue on my Porsche, I will never return. Maybe you should focus more on service than making TIKTOKS! Additionally, the guy who answers the phone is very rude, and thinks he owns the place. My initial phone call consisted me of asking their oil change cost and diagnose fee - and was returned with unneeded rude responses. Save your time, money, and self respect, look elsewhere, these people are a joke.

As result of shipping error incorrect tire initially installed. Upon identifying issue Jamie and Gordon took corrective action, ordered replacement and had new installed within 24 hours. Whole issue handle very professionally and with outstanding customer support.

When it comes to repair and customer service I believe that Jamie, Gordon and team are top notch. Suspected a wheel sensor was causing some major issues on a Porsche Macan. Having codes that relate to the transmission make you nervous and can be complicated. Thankfully it was a wheel sensor and that honesty is rare in the auto industry.Elite diagnosed, order parts and had the car repaired in a much appreciated timely fashion.Thank you for a solid experience and for being there for our family.

I told the appointment setter that I needed to wait with my car for oil service. My previous place would not allow me to do this even though I offered to bring a chair and sit outside but elite motor werks allowed me to do it. The work was done quickly and satisfactorily. Moreover they found some things that needed work and simply emailed the trouble spots to me along with photos and itemized estimates rather than pressuring me to get it done ASAP. Told me what to expect on the trouble items. Going forward I expect that Ill be bringing them my business.

Elite Motor Works has been caring for my BMW for many years now. This time I had an very inconvenient radiator hose break, just a few days before Christmas. The car was not drivable and was towed to their shop. The team worked swiftly to get the parts, and noticed another hose needing repair, and managed to get it all complete before they shut down for the holidays. The team consistently performs superior work and returns my car freshly washed. I appreciate working with an honest, talented shop to maintain my aging Z4. I own 2 porsche turbos and have tried to use the dealer to service both vehicles correctly. unfortunately it has been difficult to find a dealer where my vehicles are not just a widget to be moved thru the process as quickly as possible. Ive been very lucky to find Elite Motor Works where Jamie and the team not only listened to my comments on the vehicle condition, performance etc. Elite actually took actions and addressed and solved the issues my vehicle was having. I received the vehicle back in a condition that I am happy with. I made an online appointment, and first thing in the morning I was contacted by Gordon. We confirmed date and time. This being my first time to this facility, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness when I walked in the door. I was met by Gordan and we discussed my visit and what I wanted to accomplish. I looked around, saw a little childrens play area, and a very spacious area. Not a cramped little room with a TV like some dealerships I have visited over the years! I had my vehicle at a local dealership and had a issue which they had a difficult time resolving, so I let Gordon know about the problem and he said no problem.. I wasnt planning on a quick completion because of the things I wanted done, so I went on to work. A couple hours later I get a call from Gordon letting me know that my vehicle was ready and he went over the detailed list. The one main thing that the dealership couldnt fix, they took care of with ease.. I really appreciate the great service and attention to detail... Thanks to all for a great experience! Just got my x3 back. Thanks Gordon and the Elite motors team for a great customer experience. The car had intermittent an issue and it was resolved with a smile. Being a new snowbird I wasnt sure who take it to. Glad I took it to Elite!Thanks again. Two Canadian thumbs up.

I have never had a better experience than bringing my car to the crew at Elite , every single person who works there treated me like family , no issue to small or to large to handle.
