Extremely customer friendly! My job was prioritized because of an impending storm and I was taken in immediately and processed very quickly. Everyone was very friendly and professional.Waiting room was large and comfortable. The completed job was perfect. I could not complement the experience highly enough!

My 2008 Mercedes was hit by another driver who accepted fault on August 31st 2021. Their insurance company authorised repairs by AutoNation - 6828 Tamiami, Sarasota. Prior to the accident and en route to Auto nation -all tyre sensors were fully functioning, and the drivers side automated locks were fully functioning. The check engine light was NOT ON. The front tyres and all four tyre sensors were not even six months old. Upon collection of my car on Friday September 10th, and within a few minutes of driving my car, the drivers side locks malfunctioned, and the check engine light and low tyre pressure light flashed on. Attempted to return to AutoNation on Friday and Saturday, but the premises were closed.I took my car to Firestone to have them check the tyre pressure as a matter of urgency.They indicated that all four tyres were massively over inflated and that the check engine light and tyre pressure indicator was most definitely caused by the large nail in the tyre. Returned to Autonation on Monday September 13th and spoke to Benji (estimator). He acknowledged that both the lock malfunction and the large nail in front drivers side tyre was their fault (Benji was extremely civil and took the time to fully understand my concerns). Tom Mathews - Collision Director arrived and immediately shouted over me and proceeded to deny all responsibility and continued to aggressively use bully boy tactics to absolve all accountability - that the inflated tyres 7 and 8 psi over just happen!, that the nail in the front tyre was not their problem and also denying that the lock malfunction was anything to do with their work despite the drivers side door being fully removed by them, and my car being in their workshop for ten days. He denied that the tyres were even touched but I had already been told that they had to align them, so clearly another mistruth.The utter disdain and contempt with which he behaved was appalling. I dont expect to collect my car with greater problems than how the car had arrived in their workshop. Given that Benji had acknowledged that it was their workshop that had made these errors, it is extremely disappointing that clearly Mr Mathews is only interested in shouting down customers and maintaining their financial line when they so obviously screw up. Truly awful customer care. I would like to have them replace the front tyre, address the sensor problem caused by the nail(which are only six months old), and complete the lock repair on the drivers side to the level at which they were when the car was delivered to them on August 31st. Took the car to Mercedes and they advised that AutoNation need to fulfill the repairs to a satisfactory level, and that they have received several complaints from other unhappy customers dealing with AutoNation and the bully boy tactics from their Collision Director.Received an automated response under my review....Called back as per the request to reach out to them. Manager not available. How about AutoNation call me to resolve these issues. Better still e-mail so that there is a written record of how AutoNation plan on fixing the problem, and to avoid further bully boy tactics from their manager !!Following up : Benji has satisfactorily repaired all of the outstanding issues which the former Director Tom Mathew refused to deal with. I am extremely grateful to Benji for following up and resolving all the problems that occurred during the initial repair of my car. AutoNation has shown that customer care is important and that they value both their customers and staff.

This was the preferred body shop for the insurance company of the driver that hit my car. I usually take my car to the dealer for all service issues so was hesitant to take it to a body shop because of all the horror stories that pervades the sloppy work so many of them do. However to avoid any hassles with the insurance company, I took it there. I have to say, the experience with the facility and with the service estimator Robert (Benji) Johnson, was EXCELLENT! and far exceeded my expectations. He dealt with all of the procedural things the insurance company required and kept me fully informed through the process of getting my vehicle properly repaired. When I picked the car up, it was clean and as good as new. I highly recommend this body shop, they take pride and care to ensure that the repair is done professionally and properly.

I am blown away by the customer service at this place! My car is still in the shop now, but every day or so I get a new update sent to my email with all kinds of details about the progress of my vehicle. I will update again when my car is finished, but if their customer service is this good, I can only imagine the quality of their work would be the same!

I was in an accident on Feb. 18th & Mercedes Benz of Sarasota recommended that the car be taken to AutoNation Collision. Benji, who was my contact there, kept me aware of every step of the repair. Got Lady B (Red Sled) back on March 24th, all shiny & looking like new. Benji made us aware of how to take car of the car for the next 30 days & what to do then. Benji was wonderful, professional & took my feelings into consideration. We were able to leave the rental car & keys at AutoNation Collision, where Enterprise picked up. Hope I never have to, but the Red Sled would go back there if necessary. Definitely 5 STARS!!!

Had our new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 for all of about 24 hours before someone pulled out in front of us. The only delays were in getting the parts in from Germany, the service was awesome. Quality is paramount with this shop - highly recommended. Looks and feels the same as the day we brought it home.

My vehicle (2015 kia soul) has been at this location since Feb 22nd for front end damage. I had to pay out of pocket for a rental and I called on Feb 24th at 4:38pm to see what the damage was and an estimated date of completion for my vehicle. I was told by the receptionist that Scott is the person over seeing repairs on my vehicle and would give me a call with information about my vehicle as soon as possible. Two days past and I still hadnt received a call with information about my vehicle, I called back on Feb 26 at 5:26pm to try and get information, i spoke with someone and still get little to no information I call back on March 1st at 10:17am to see if I can finally get information about my vehicle, I was finally told an estimated date of March 10th for when my car should be ready. I called back on March 8th at 12:15pm to see if my car would be ready by then (because Ive spent so much out of pocket for a rental and need my car back and dont have the funds to continue paying for a rental car and had to return it on the 10th) I was then told by Scott that it should be done and in paint by Thursday or Friday and hed call me if anything comes up. I wait until Thursday the 11th at 1:11pm and called back to see if I can pick up my vehicle. I was then then told by Scott that it was just got out of paint but there was an issue with the steering light and they needed to see if there was an actual issue or needed to take it to kia to get it reset. I called back on the 12th to get an update to see if i can come and get my vehicle. I was then informed that they had not figured out what the issue and Scott would contact me on Monday the 15th.Ive brought my vehicle to this location before for repairs and it didnt take this long. Im not able to do what I need to do without my vehicle and its costing me more and more money to have to get Ubers and have groceries delivered to my house and I cant just rely on those services because I have a toddler I have to take care of and get things asap and i cant do that without my car that Im still paying for. Its been 21 dang days since Ive had my vehicle. I need my car time yesterday.

Scott was aligned with our insurance company and able to oversee a quick (three days) fix to our fender bender. Scott and the receptionists were courteous and friendly. The center was able to accommodate an early drop-off. Bonus: the inside and outside of the car were cleaned. The car looked like new!

Blair has been awesome in both visits.The last visit pointing out the Insurance Company covering the costs were not bidding Mercedes parts. Blair worked with their adjuster and my car now has Mercedes Benz equipment. I truly appreciate his attention to detail!

I had to take my vehicle in for repairs and paint on 2 occasion. They refused to accept my car when i took it back the 3rd time. Sloppy paint job, over spray, lousy workmanship and unfinished paint job. In addition they are not wanting to correct their error. They offer a “life time” warranty but they do not honor it. My vehicle was inspected by an independent appraiser and he even confirmed the terrible job that was performed. They are supposed to be the best in town. But they are far from being the best. In addition they dont comply with their own warranty. We dealt with Tom and he was not only disrespectful but was unprofessional. He apparently cannot recognize a lousy job nor would admit to it. They need to hire better qualified individuals that can detect the less than perfect paint finish. Its rather frustrating when you take the car back for a 3rd time because of the imperfections caused by them and they refuse to make things right. They have a duty and obligation to take the car back in and fix their own sloppy job. I would not recommend them in the least. As a result of their lousy workmanship i have had to retain an atty and potentially file suit. All it would have taken was for them to take the car back in and make it right the very first time.

I have gone here three times for three vehicles and never have I been disappointed. They always communicate with me on the details of whats going on. They only ONCE missed a deadline BUT! I was given a rental that was free! No other shop has that kind of pull or service. If youre lucky, Scott is your guy. Hes irreplaceable and the the best. You got me the best parts and brand new looking car every time.

This is an amazing place! They have great customer service and are really neat and efficient. No matter what kind of car you have, they will give it their all. They constantly update you on the status of your car and make it really easy to work with your insurance company. Luis was great and very kind.

Luis and Blair took care of my 93 year old Mothers collectible PT Cruiser GT Convertible. It had been hit on the passenger side door with some damage to the quarter panel. The color is a burgundy red and they matched it up beautifully. They do a lot of high end vehicles, and the price was very fair. Excellent job, and I highly recommend.

I was led to, and strung along by Blair Smith. Not only does he not know what he is doing he is arrogant and just a downright liar. The experience with this company was worse than the accident that brought us to them in the first place. If you need their services and Blair Smith answers the phone move on to another repair shop. Save yourself the agony of dealing with these people.

They messed up my Mercedes car . The car was in the shop since dec 6 . It took them a month to fix and even with one month the car paint is botched the bumper is loose, there was glue on my gas cover lid they put the wrong emblem on my car. Not near quality . I went to this place because they are Mercedes benz certified and I did not want after market parts put on my car. Unfortunately it seems they dont have the staff to do quality work and do a quality control check before handing the car back to the customers. The general manager does little for our concerns. Everytime I called to check up the status on my car the receptionist karen would tell me that louis who was in charge of over seeing the car repairs was either at a meeting or on the phone. When I got tired of hearing the same thing at every call and mentioned this to karen she finally put me through the agent handling the car. What they charged the insurance of 9,243 was not the quality I got. We were told to wait 3 weeks to come in to get the car repainted . I would think twice before considering sending your car to this place.

I went with my nephew to pick up his car. Scott walked us out to get the car. My nephew asked him if they replaced the hatchback. He told us it was new. He even explained about the glass. I commented on the color difference, but understood it can be difficult to match old paint with new paint. I noticed several small marks on the car. Scott was able to rub most of them out with his finger. He went and got a rag and a bottle of something to get rid of a mark that would not come out. He then went to get someone to buff it out. I noticed then that one of the marks was actually a ding. He said they would have to fix it. He told my nephew that if he really needed it he could have a rental car. He explained that this policy covered it, but it was really a pain to go get. I told him we didnt need the rental. He told my nephew he would make it a priority. He told my nephew dont bring her next time. We went back to get the car the next day. I pointed out where the repair to the ding was. He told me that was not the correct spot. It was the correct spot. It was visible. It was next to the mark they never buffed out. He told us those were there before because they didnt replace that. It didnt make sense since he told us the day before they did replace it. He shook my nephews hand and said thank you. He turned his back on me and walked away. I told my nephew I would make sure they fixed it correctly, but he just wanted his car. If it had been my car you would be fixing it. It had already been several days longer than originally planned. I am severely disappointed with the level of service and the low quality work. I would never recommend that anyone use your company. In fact I wouldnt even suggest that anyone have you fix so much as a bicycle.

I was very concerned that my vehicle would have a noticeable difference in appearance or how it drove, but was pleasantly surprised I could not tell a difference.

Wrecked my 2014 CPO Mercedes-Benz and had front in damage. My insurance paid Autonation big money for the repairs. Took the longer to repair than they told me. Finally they called and said it’s done. After driving to pick-up my car, I noticed swirl marks all over my hood. Plus, scratches under my clear coat on my hood. They told me they were too busy to get it back in. After three months. They finally got me back in. The Manager came out, he was new. He told me they would buff it. They buffed it and it looks a little better. I still have scratch marks under the clear coat. I have a lifetime warranty. After they get their money from the insurance company, they forget about you. Very disappointed! They will not re-paint my hood. The Manager acted like I was an inconvenience to him. Not professional at all! Go somewhere else. I can’t believe Autonation did this! They own the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Sarasota as well! I’m contacting my insurance and an attorney to see what I need to do.

I have just experienced a new low in customer service! That is actually not correct! There was no customer service! They had my sons car for 4 days and I still didnt have an estimate in hand. If you do use them and have Louis as your customer service rep., run, dont walk for the nearest exit. I had to initiate all communications with him for 4 days and I got nothing but excuses and false promises. The only reason I received a call from him on the 5th day was because I complained to the dealership management the night before. I understand busy but I also understand business. Louis just lost a loyal Autonation customer. I will not be buying anymore vehicles or having anymore service performed by them.

After a recent slip-off-the-break-pedal accident into our garage, AutoNation Collision Center Sarasota did a superb job of rebuilding the passenger side rear quarter panel, back bumper, and drivers door panel. It was quite an extensive repair. It was a pleasure working with USAAs in-house appraiser, Scott Tetreault, who kept us up to date all along the way. The rental pick up and drop off right at AutoNation was also a plus.

Took my vehicle there thinking they would be the best in the area I was completely wrong. They work in conjunction with the insurance company they could care less about the customers. Its to the point where its Criminal they did such a horrible job of the repairs I had to take it to another auto body shop. There was over spray on the vehicle for being poorly masked. The door jambs were not in alignment they also worked with the insurance company not to finish repairs caused by the accident. They left my vehicle not only dirty, unsecured and with a dead battery. The repairs which should have taken only a week to do two three and a half weeks. I would have been better to take the check from the insurance company and trade the vehicle in to buy another one. Please take your vehicle to anywhere else but here.

I just picked up my Honda from AutoNation and what an experience I had. I am 100% satisfied from the time I called, came in and picked up the car when car was completed. I was fortunate enough to have Blair as my rep. He is so knowledgeable and made me feel confortable from the first minute I met him. He really knows his stuff and explained the process to me completely and I was very confortable leaving my vehicle to be repaired after talking with Blair. His customer service is exceptional as I havent been in an accident in over 45 years and was totallly stressed that this happened to me. Blair calmed me down completely and everything he told me that would happed did and my car looks fantastic as he stated it would. Auto Nation is very lucky to have such a employee in Blair and I will recommend anyone who ever gets inthe situation I was in with the fender bender to see Blair. I told him when I picked up the car this morning I felt he was a friend the way he treated me and that is a real compliment!
