This is the best oriental market in town. The selection is unmatched. I mean they have like 100 different brands of ramen who wouldn’t love that? The kimchi is one of my favorite things to buy here but if you are a sauce person there flavors here you can’t find any where else. This is a special spot come check it out.

A great little family run Asian market in Sarasota. A little tight inside but that adds to the tight knit community experience. They stock a a great variety of dry goods, both staples and hard to find items. I was thrilled to be able to find frozen peteh beans(AKA stink beans / petai / sat / bitter bean/ Parkia speciosa) in one of their freezers. They have a good selection of Indonesian seasoning mixes, and an OK selection of the more common Asian vegetables like bok choi, gai lan,bean sprouts, and others.If you found this review helpful, please click the like button.

Fantastic place for all your Asian grocery needs! It seems kind of small, but it is densely packed with frozen, canned, and fresh goodies.The owners are also very nice and helpful. They gave us boxes for our move and brought our groceries out to our car. Well be regulars now that weve moved to the area!

So this place has a great selection of dry and bottled sauces, some fresh produce too. The store is laid out well but the 2 refrigerated prepared food I bought were a bust, 😭 baby octopus 🐙 and kimchi. When I got home I realized not only how old it is, but there were white mold spots on the 🐙! Also the kimchi I was thrilled to find, was almost warm, not good for bacteria and mold... If they keep an eye on their refrigerator temperature and expiration dates then well be great...

Very nice asian store with great selections. You can find anything you can think of here. One stop shopping. They also have bbq on weekend and fresh made prepackaged food daily. Now that they carry my favorite asian ice cream, this store is a must stop!

Phuoc Loc market is a good place to shop, especially if you have an Asian spouse or significant other. He or she will be delighted to find food thats normally not available at American supermarkets. The prices are good without having to travel to St Petersburg or Tampa. Theres fresh fish, pork, duck, beef tendon and prepared food thats not typical in most grocery stores. Theres also quite a selection of rice and tapioca noodles along with popular Asian vegetables that you cant find elsewhere. There are several types of instant Asian coffees and canned drinks

A bit too small and limited for my taste, compared to markets in St Pete I used to frequent which used to be close to me. Probably your best option in Sarasota for oriental groceries, though.

Wish the produce area was just a touch larger with a few more thai ingredients like galangal however this is a top notch choice for all of your asian market needs from sauces and noodles to seafood and meat and Asian cooking tools

Great selection of Japanese and Filipino! Rating it a 3 because it was packed when I went and didnt feel safe with a crowd in a small store. Their aisles are tiny so everyone was right next to each other. My note to management is to limit the number of people so social distancing can be exercised in the store.

My mother loves cooking Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese food and has been coming here for years for her supplies. I love their large selection of fresh produce and readily made food. Their roasted duck on the weekends is killer.

I love this store and they have everything you need. Seeing is believing and whatever you need, they have it there. The owners are so nice and cordial and polite. It is a nice place to visit and check it out and it wont disappoint you. If they dont have the items you want, you can ask them and they will tell you what to substitute it or they will tell you why they dont have that particular brand. My overall experience is that this little store has everything you need . The produce are fresh and in a place like Sarasota, I am so happy that they are here!!! It is cheaper too for the hard to get items.

It had a lot of the things that we are used to have any while in the Philippines although its a Korean store not Filipino a lot of the food is similar because its all Asian we bought some desserts some spices in bottles marnies all-time favorite is chili oil and sardines we didnt by Dorian because I hate it but we did get some cream / milk thats good surge as antibiotic and kills any stomach Invaders parasites whatever very good drink every morning my favorite sticky rice its a heavy rice and honey after dinner dessert very heavy and Rich 1 maybe two spoonfuls is plenty will be sending some pictures who knows of you who like to see our adventures of the day we had a wonderful day of walking although we walk 3 miles the wrong way it was worth every minute of it again we shared each others interest and what we plan on doing in the future looking forward to the 21st of December when we come back on the 3rd of January Barney is going to start decorating the inside and plan to her garden good luck sweetie we are glad to share with those who are interested in our activities your friend Marni and Rico Suave

Great oriental market. Good price. Carries a variety of food from Thailand, Vietnam, China, Korea... Fresh vegetables and fruits. They even have roast pork, BBQ pork in the weekend.Very helpful and friendly service. Would definitely shop here again.

I was looking for mung bean noodles. Sick of buying on Amazon. Delightful abundance of all things ... Noodle! Wonderful variety of vegetables.. Bought some fresh gai lohn which is a type of chinese kale. Was a wonderful late addition to a stir fry. Have groceries, meats, vegetables a little store with narrow isles but packed to the gills with adventure...try a staycation and cook some asian dish. Everyone wears masks.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. They make the best spring rolls and pork you have ever had. They used to make bubble tea, and let me tell you it was worth the 30 minute drive from our home. Please bring it back, sarasota need a real bubble tea place.

I was visiting from Hawaii and this by far has been the best Asian market. Found vegetables that even cater to Polynesian appetites such as taro!!! I will continue to return and I have told my kids where to shop cause being from Hawaii, we have certain needs. Love it!!

My go to place for oriental groceries

This is the grocery store of my youth (excluding Publix, this is Florida after all). Mother has been buying from this place for years and cant help but compare other oriental markets to this one. (spoiler alert: this one always wins) Prices are beyond reasonable, so inexpensive. The new owners are the best: super friendly and keep everything clean. There is fresh produce, frozen fish, cooked meat and prepared appetizer dishes. Great place to stop by and support.

Went there for the first time yesterday to get pad Thai ingredients. They had everything I needed and helped me find a couple of items I didnt see right away. The prices were good, Chinese parsley was fresh, and the tofu was freshly fried in-house.

They always have the Asian ingredients for authentic recipes I like trying and are always friendly.
