Picked up my husband’s meds & noticed the phone number that’s linked to his cvs acct had an incorrect name. Seeing this was a first for me as it’s always been his name. I was told to call corporate so they can correct it & I was on hold 3 times! The second time was nearly 40 minutes. Finally I got connected to someone & she also put me on hold for a couple minutes. Next thing I knew I got disconnected. Waste of time!!!
I noticed this CVS has a horrible rating, its my first time here. I just had my first covid-19 vaccination. It was great and for just starting the staff were all pleasant and helpful. And I wish I knew the name of the RN who gave me the vaccination. She was the best, Im pretty sure she was a RN I could be wrong but she was great. I felt nothing I get most vaccinations never had a problem and I feel great no problem and no side effects. I say thanks looking forward to #2 vaccination.
Do not like their auto fill for prescriptions, I prefer to call them in myself because they do change. For example, I picked up a new prescription today and they had one that I no longer take thrown in with the new prescription. Now I have to make another trip to take it back
How can this place be so incompetent?! I’m once again leaving this pharmacy disgruntled because they never have anything ready when they say they will, they are so busy (no idea how, with their chaotic workflow!), and they’re rude. I appreciate CVS and their usual ease but this place is a joke. Avoid like the plague!
Been on hold for 30 min with pharmacy, still no answer…. I hung up. Been calling for two days have spent a total of 1hour and 48min on hold, still have spoken to no one. I’ve told them they were going to loose me as a customer dealing with the constant prescription problems now, still no fix… I’m done with them (using since 1992 and now no longer). Used to be a great friendly and efficient company, but no longer now just rude and could care less!!! Thanks for not bothering to even answer phone calls, and no option to speak to a manager on the electronic phone system…. Awesome.
Had appointment at 12.00 pm for flu shot waited 40 minutes missed my kids school pick up and never got my shots. What a waste time and money. This place is a joke they care less. Why you make appointment if you can’t keep up with it.
Well Desiree in the pharmacy had this place running well and had great service found out Desiree is not there anymore and now back to terrible service because the Asian Pharmacy manager is back who has terrible service which is the reason I left for ten years and now she’s back!If you are that upset all the time and unwilling to help maybe take some of the medication you prescribe
Glad they are open 24 hours! Satisfied with pharmacist and helpful and friendliness of staff member.
I swung by to get a smoothie. Good location. The transaction was quick.
Went in to pick up a prescription for my son. WHO IS SICK! They (CVS) said 10 to 15 min. Went back still not ready. Got the text from CVS saying it was ready and to my surprise still wasnt ready. Over an hour later it was finally ready. They ppl at the counter were not helpful and super rude. I would love to talk to the manager about how poorly his staff treats SICK ppl. And i will be contacting CVS corp as well.
Worst customer service Ive ever experienced anywhere. Over the past five weeks Ive spoken to at least six different people about getting a prescription transferred and refilled. Five weeks later . . . no transfer, no refill, no record of my previous calls. If I could switch to another pharmacy, I would!
CVS in Santee is now offering Covid-19 vaccinations, so I had my first one there yesterday. I would highly recommend going there! They are organized, professional, kind and really do a wonderful service for the community. Moderna is the vaccine they use, and a pharmacist or RN gives the injection. Mine was painless. Then, you will wait in an area with chairs for 15 minutes under observation for any side effects. They offered us bottled water, and checked on us frequently. To get your vaccination, you need to go CVS online and schedule it.
They have been very helpful to us, and we appreciate the great customer service!
The worst service ever I have seen if they tell couples minutes that mean couple hours
Pharmacy is Terrible. Technicians are Catty. The wait time for prescriptions is over and beyond unreasonable. I cant tell you how many times I have had a terrible experience with the pharmacy due to their errors. They need more training.
This place has no employees working that want to help.
What you would expect for a chain drugstore. Pharmacy staff was helpful.
Extremely rude and unprofessional pharmacist here, dont bother risking your and your loved ones health and wasting your time and money at this location.Zero empathy or compassion, completely unwilling to help in any way. Shame on you CVS.
My mother in law goes here to pick up her medications, the pharmacy messed up her prescription and gave her a double dose of blood pressure medications. If she would have had a reaction the pharmacist could lose his job. Get your stuff together
Currently been standing in line for drop off for last 20 minutes garbage customer sevice
So I have a new insulin that my insurance does not cover and my doctor gave me a coupon to cover it however I take too much insulin for the coupon to be covered. Trevor who works in the pharmacy was absolutely amazing he worked with me and worked with the manufacturer to get my insulin and syringes covered. You have no idea how grateful I am to this wonderful person Trevor who helped me If you need a pharmacy I suggest that you go to CVS in Santee and speak to Trevor.
Edit: Darrion Reached out me and assured me that he will fix the issue and have a meeting with this employee. To be fair I have had good experiences here in the past. I added 2 stars.I’m really struggling not to give them the 1 star, I am giving 2 because it seems to only be a couple bad apples there. Consistently Carlos and a couple others have been so rude and abrupt with me and all the other customers I see them interact with. They will remind you they close at 6:30 when there is maybe 1 or 2 people in the store and NO LINE. They tell you every 5 mins when they close even though again, There Is NO LINE! Why be in a rush and not helpful when there’s no one waiting and there is still 20 minutes til you close. I had to ask him 3 times to set me up a CVS number because I come here a lot and WAS planning on coming back. The girl on the next register was in the Middle of setting one up for another customer and he still tried to say “come back another time we re closing in 20minutes! Still no line or anyone else waiting! 2 registers doing one transaction each.Wow! No hello or friendly welcome because Carlos is also on the Corner register. I even tried to compliment him on his glasses genuinely because I like them, still nothing. He’s a Cold Fish. Get those cheery old ladies back. They have that at Wal Greens right down the street !!!
Old flappy arms didnt let me use the restroom, and threatened to call the police when I mentioned hepatitis A. But who needs hepatitis when we all have COVID
Like others have said, they could definitely use more staff. Its very nice that the pharmacy is open 24/7 and that has saved us more then once. But we have also had on several occasions been told that a prescription would be ready in about 20 minutes and then 2 hours later theyre still working on filling it.
The pharmacy is where I pick up all my medicines. Most of the time they try to help with prescription issues and stuff but the last few times I have been here, I dont really feel they made the extra effort to explain the issues with my medicines nor did they even follow up to tell me the issues were fixed and that I could pick them up.
I went there for the first time to get a medication for my brother, who had a surgery today. After a long wait, a guy named “Victor” (pharmacist) tried to help us. I gave him 2 coupons and told him to try them and see if they work. He looked like he didn’t want to help and he said that they don’t work until he said, “to be honest, I have a million stuff to do, I have no time for this!!” Is that how this person treats his customers??Then another guy named “Esteban” came and helped us. And when I told him what the pharmacist said, he nicely apologized AND the coupon worked! I would’ve given Esteban the five stars, even though we waited a lot, because of how nice he was even though he was so busy trying to help all these people. You don’t change your attitude just because of how busy you are or what degree you have!! Moreover, one of the most important reasons for being in the medical field is helping people and being compassionate not the other way around! Wish Esteban the best in his life, and I pray for Victor that the Lord would help him and take his stress and bad attitude away.
This used to be my favorite pharmacy to pick up prescriptions because they used to be quick and friendly. Now they are SLOW, slow no matter what time of the day whether picking up or dropping off. I have to wait 35 minutes just to drop off a prescription only to be told it will be 1 1/2 hours if I want to wait to pick it up. After hearing this several times I decided to stop going here.Ive since started going to a CVS near where I work, and they are much quicker. Dont know what happened, but I hope it improves because I live near here!
Friendly staff, nice place to shop!
The pharmacy is great. They are very fast and always open - thats a great combination. A few of the technicians should smile more, but several of them (and all of the pharmacists) do a *very* good job. Fast and friendly. The store is understaffed at the front registers, but I dont care. I go there for the pharmacy.
I got a phone call from this pharmacy. The lady leaving a message talked faster than an auctioneer and left off the last number of the call back number, and it is not, I repeat NOT the number listed here, but THIS is the store where my script was called into. I need to chastise my Doctors Office. I have never I repeat never used this store for any prescription
CVS PHARMACY, 9730 Mission Gorge Rd, Santee, CA 92071 - JUST THE PITS. The staff is nice, but they are so understaffed it is sad.Example: On hold to speak to pharmacy staff for 45 minutes...no kidding. I finally hung up and called back as a Prescriber - spoke to pharmacist. How can you keep someone on a phone hold for 45 min?Go to any other CVS. This place is really overworked and understaffed.
I’m really shocked by all the low ratings. I’m wondering if these may be disgruntled employees or their friends that are just trying to slam this store. I’ve been going to this CVS for many, many years. I have never had a bad experience there! The staff are very cordial and helpful, in the front end and the pharmacy. I’ve never had a delay or problem with my prescriptions or the service. And that they’re open 24/7 is a definite plus!
They need to staff this place a little more. Needed to look for something and had a hard time finding anyone to help. Once I did they were able to get me in the right direction very quickly. But they need to increase their staff on the floor
To bad they dont allow a Zero, because that is what they are. The Pharmacy is pathetic at best! Zero Customer Service Skills! There is more than one reason they have been on probation with the Farma Board for the last three years. The Top Brass might want to check out this hell hole for themselves. Zero zero zero
Theresa in the Pharmacy is an absolute gem. Professional, curtious, clean store and quick service.
Long waits. Nice people, but never enough staff. Was forced to switch because of insurance changes. Walgreens was SO much better.
Unreal. After three phone calls and faxes to my doc, i thought the confusion was cleared up. I waited an extra day to pick up prescription and it STILL wasn’t ready when I came to pick it up. Staff called yesterday to make sure I could afford my co-pay, then said it would be ready in a couple hours. 24-hours later and it’s “almost” ready. What????
The guy at the pharmacy really saved me tonight. My wife has a broken leg. She got a prescription that some other places didnt have. He even helped me call around. Finally he gave me part of a prescription so that my wife could sleep though the night. Thanks mr woodly
Phone lines always have busy signal. Cant even reach them by telephone!
I have been calling CVS 3 days for a medication refill but they never get it done. A female staff even lied to me that she called my doctors office but she did not. I ran out of my medication. I told the CVS staff that I wanted to switch to Walgreens then she cancelled my order immediately. It was so horrible that she didnt care about patients need and didnt follow up the job. This prescription has been done for years in CVS Santee but she cannot handle it. It is so shame that she has the pharmacist title.
This pharmacy used to be so efficient. They are absolutely horrible. I was on hold for 15 minutes, no one ever picked up the phone so I hung up and called back, put on hold for another 10 minutes without anyone picking up my call. I finally gave up. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Horrible, horrible customer service!!!!
During the busiest times, always understaffed. ONE rescription takes TWO hours to fill? One cashier at 5pm? Really? I dread having to come here because of the wait times.
Not the employees fault, usually fairly polite service. They are so understaffed its ridiculous. Horrendous lines every time. That this company stays in business is incredible. They should focus on pharmacy.
Watch out for the CVS in Santee. They are storing insulin on the shelf when it should be in the refrigerator! The insulin is spoiled when left out! Complete incompetence! No wonder they are on probation.
Very helpful staff in the pharmacy
Very frustrated both times I have tried using this pharmacy. Waited 2 hours the first time and after waiting in line for over 30 minutes the second trip, just to drop off, I was treated rudely and told my insurance wasnt authorizing it and I would have to return the following day.
Ive been waiting for my medication for 4 hours and now they are saying another 3 hours. They have a really bad service, bad employees too. They always put me on hold for at least 10 minutes, theres always something wrong. Bad pharmacy ever!
Horribly long lines due to understaffing. People are friendly, just not enough of them.
Worst pharmacy ever! I called them 3 times to call in BP medicines to my patient and kept on hold 10 min each time.
Do not go here unless you have no other choice the other reviews that are 5 star has to be people that work here or friends of people.
The worst customer service ever they have no clue about any thing you get no help they are worst go some were else run
I like knowing there is an urgent care here.
TERRIBLE customer service. Anything prescription-related takes HOURS to get through at this location. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.
Very long lines and extreme slow at the pharmacy even when several people are working.
The worst.
This place has complete morons working here they cant seem to do anything right not to mention the pharmacy is under probation stay clear of them unless its midnight and its your only other choice
Great
Slow pharmacy
