My son has been taking guitar lessons with David for the last two years and the experience has been perfect. Hes planted a positive affirmation in our son about playing a musical instrument, so learning is fun for Landon now. When visiting my grandchildren in Santa Barbara I am so proud and impressed by my son David and his wife Valerie. I see first hand the relentless efforts and time spent on their students. Both Dave and Valerie are dedicated to teach their many students to be the very best they can and to flourish in their individual music education. Both their children are proof of that philosophy as Sofia and Joey are talented prolific musicians because of their parents dedication and belief in the joy music brings to the world.

Valerie and David have been instrumental in helping our sons learn how to play and appreciate the violin and guitar. They meet them at their level and teach at an appropriate and encouraging pace. They are considerate teachers and highly trained and competent. I am confident they are receiving the best instruction in town. We are so thankful to be part of their program.

My daughter has been taking violin lessons from Valerie for five years now. Valerie is wonderful -- very patient and kind with my daughter (who definitely has her moments!), but also challenging her in technique and musicality and always improving her playing. Valerie is also just a really nice and awesome person in general. We have also loved doing the Suzuki Institute they put on in the summer (I was honestly a little skeptical that my daughter would like doing so much violin, but they made it both fun and a great learning experience). I should also say that I was a Suzuki child with a fair amount of musical training myself, so I am super picky about teachers knowing musical technique -- and I am really glad we found Valerie and I am really pleased with our experience with her.

Valerie and David are superb musicians and excellent teachers. They both have a knack for working with kids and are always patient and supportive with my son! They offer beginning to expert lessons for many instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, keyboard), all with a high level of expertise.

I have seen Dave and Valerie teach and they have a natural ability for teaching all ages with patience and positive reinforcement. Dave has been a positive influence on my grandson. His knowledge and expertise has made him excel with his music career.

Valerie is a very good and kind teacher. Her own magnificent tone when she plays her viola is inspiring! My son has been her student now for 7 years!

Valerie was so great at teaching my five year old to play violin. She is very talented, quite patient and made the experience as easy as possible.

I walked in to buy strings, and the door was open ... suddenly the owner comes out of the back and asks me why Im in there. I tell him I need guit strings. He tells me he is giving a lesson and cant help until the lesson is over... seriously. I know exactly what I want, and I cant believe that he left the door open if he was too busy to take my money!

Polite owner. made sure I got everything I needed in a professional fashion. quality repair and maintenance service, prices are average.
