My daughter wanted to get fitted for a board so we went to Lighthouse, which was recommended by a friend. Canaan and Spencer are awesome, they were so patient and helpful and helped my girl pick out a nice deck, showed her the process of putting the trucks and applying the grip, and generally are just super cool and nice guys. I highly recommend Lighthouse Skate Shop! What a great location too!

Lighthouse was such a cool place. I am not a skateboarder, but saw the outside of the shop and had to go in. I ended up buying a graphic t because I loved the design. The guy working, Spencer I think, told me they use local artists, which makes it even better. They have a cool selection of stuff, even if you don’t skate. Highly recommend checking this place out.

The best skate shop in Santa Barbara and its not even close! Im a beginner skater and stopped by just to buy parts for my new skateboard, but I walked out with much more than just a skateboard.When I approached the shop I was immediately greeted by several friendly staff and an employee named Spencer helped me pick out parts for my skateboard and answered any questions I had. On top of that he actually went above and beyond and took time out of his day to give me much needed advice on how to ride my new board, how to maintain it, essential tips and tricks, etc! If youre reading this Spencer, thank you so much for your help!I cant recommend this place enough, never once did I feel intimidated or unwelcome. All the staff were professional, kind and really know their craft. This business has for sure just scored a life long customer. Be sure to ask for Spencer if youre new to skating or have any questions, you wont regret it!

This is a very good skate shop I would recommend going because you are free to hang out and have fun inside the skate shop you could also skate in the skate shop they are fair prices The owners and the people there are very nice so I will very recommend you going.

Lighthouse is the heart of the local SB skate scene. Its just down the street from the skatepark and the go to hang out spot for local skaters. Definetly check it out if youre in the area, it has the best selection/price range of any local shop and youll always find friendly local skaters hanging out.

I took my kids to get boards for sk8 camp. Neren helped my son Max who is 5 and Spencer helped my daughter Ruby who is 8. Spencer and Neren could not have made this a more fun experience. They both walked the kids through each step of making their own unique boards. Picking out the board, skin, wheels, trucks and berrings and then showed them how to build it. Neren gave the kids several great tips on getting started. 1 out of 10 and this shop would get a 10 for customer service. Super knowledgeable and I couldnt recommend them enough. Great guys and a great skate shop!!

Dank sk8 shop for even us Longboarders!!! They have it all sk8rs...trucks wheels decks bearings shoes clothes attitude...heck yeah!!! If you need it they either have it or will vet it for you.

This place is the best ...two of the best dudes i know opened the shop shortly after church of skatan closed down because they love the santa barbara skate sene and skaters all together ...but the shop has every thing you could need at the best price and even if you could find something cheeper at zummys or powell it wouldnt be worth dealing with some kook that has no idea of what i real skater would want or need ....at the lighthouse your dealing with true skaters here for the skaters
