My family really loves this chain and we always try to stop in whenever one is available. There isnt really one close to us in the Orlando area so we try to make it a point to stop in. We headed into this one and perused around. Everything was very clean and well organized. They have an awesome kids section with a ton of books and toys and my daughter really loved hanging out back there.There is a cafe inside as well if youre looking for a coffee or a pastry. You can grab a magazine or a book and look through it while you enjoy your snack. They have a really awesome bargain section area and pretty much every division of books. They have board books as low as three or four dollars which is a really good deal for little ones.My sister got a couple of different books. And the cashier was very friendly and quick.Overall: AWe really love this chain and wish there was one closer to the Orlando area, however, will always make it a point to stop.

I personally love coming to this Books-A-Million. Great collection of books. The employees are very friendly. The reason I’m giving this place a 4/5 because it would be awesome if the place had faster WiFi.

One of the best place to buy books of all kinds. They always have specials sometimes books are like 3-$15 or 3-$10 if I’m not mistaking also they sell funko pops a good variety but not all kinds. If you are a dragon ball z,Naruto, and avengers fan then it’s perfect to go there for good price funko pop. They have a section that have funko pops $5-$7

This store has something for everyone. There is a large collection of books for children and teens and toys for all ages. I had forgotten they have such a selection of greeting cards and books to write in. Basically they had all my favorite authors and most were well discounted. Great place for magazines too.

Good selection. Prices are finally reasonable. I have thought they were over-priced, so I rarely shopped there. Since they are going out of business at that location, they are having sales. Also could not find help in the store, had to go to the register to ask for an item.

Honestly, I went in to pick up some of the next copies for the series I’m reading and just some stuff that caught my eye. It was close to work, so I didn’t pay to much mind. At checkout, some of the workers behind the counter started laughing at me quietly like high schoolers. Grow up. I’ve never left a bad review but this really irked me. The store is closing. Probably for the best I guess.

This store is closing in January I believe. 20% or more off of everything. It has some great deals, and the staff is awesome. A great place to spend some time if you are also a bookstore lover.

I came to this books a million from orlando because they had in stock and for sale a planner I wanted. They didnt even have one. Online said in stock. This store seems to always do this.

Been coming here for many many years. Great memories and staff. Great selection of books, movies, manga, and collectables. Joe Muggs was also a great place to get a frappe or nice dessert. Also great to play board games, tags, use your laptop, and read a good book of course.

Theyre closing down so its hard to taste higher sure to the mess. Its a book store, like any books a mil. They sadly didnt have the book I wanted, and they put clearance stickers on their Funko Pops.

I used to really enjoy hanging out and perusing through books and magazines at bookstores. This is not that kind of experience. Hardly any staff on hand to assist. Wont be returning there.

Last of a Dying Breed. Its hard to find book stores anymore, but this one has wonderful employees that are always pleasant and helpful as well as a very nice coffee shop. Always an enjoyable experience.

Our youngest grandson considers this a toy store. There are things there to help the young develop reading and reasoning skills in such a way that they believe that they are playing. There are so many things to capture the interest of any one. I wish I could just buy the store and move in.

Enjoyable environment, featuring a small coffee shop and plenty of seats to sit and read. However, the prices are a little high. I can typically find the books on Amazon for $3 - $8 cheaper. However, if youre looking for the true bookstore experience, this is one of the only in the area. Great for kids also.

Very cute place. It not only has a great selection of books but a great variety of knick knacks for all ages. It also has a coffee shop and their prices are very reasonable. We enjoy to come here very often!

The whole operation is lame. Theyre closing in two months and couldnt even keep the cafe open, or at least let tables stay in the cafe so locals that have been coming here for 20 years and keeping this place funded, could have a place to read. Time to move on to greener pastures.

This has been my bookstore for probably 15 years now. They somehow have managed to keep a very friendly staff the whole time. I am always treated very well here. The selection is great and if they dont have a book in-store theyll find it and order it for you... Of course the coffee shop inside is quite convenient as well.

I love Books-A-Million located in Sanford. It is a great place to come have a cup of joe at their bakery or to come and find the latest book published. Stuff is very friendly and professional. There have been times that I am looking for a specific book that they may not have in stock and they are willing to go above and beyond to order it for me and either have it delivered to the store or to my house. Their selection of periodicals which most people call magazines is substantial they have every magazine of every category the thing covers pretty much the whole entire back wall of the entire store. Throughout the whole entire store you will also find a lot of items that are marked on clearance. Great items for the kids and also items that you could give to people. My favorite place to browse books unwind and have a cup of coffee. They have wife variety to choose from. Current best sellers. The classics that I love along with all the other great categories such as science fiction and childrens books. A nice reading area. Collectibles from shows and games like Pokemon and the coffee is fantastic.

I went to this store not even a month ago for the last time because is worst and worst, whats going on with them this store used to be excellent, really nice knowledgeable workers there, I assume they dont pay good . I remember a couple of guys there Rex and Renzo they were the best.

Ive been a dedicated Barnes and Noble customer for my entire life. This was the first I ever went into a Books-A-Million and WOW I am in love. Theres no Barnes and Noble near me, so BAM is my new favorite place to be!

Dont take that away like most Barnes n Nobles disappearing. Great place for family to take their children for reading educational day. Great place for reading relaxation and still get some Joes. Excellent discounted price throughout!

Love this place. Youre greeted upon walking in the door and the place is always clean and bright. All employees are friendly and helpful. All they need to have is comfy chairs throughout the store.

Great selection of books. The kids really enjoyed a real book store! Help desk was great at looking specific books up for us, they had all that we were looking for and they sent us right to them.

Im not a local to florida, and every time I visit books a million is always on our list of to do. I love coming here. i love looking at the books, but also at the plethora of other merchandise available as well. I could spend hours in here if I was by myself.

We love bringing our granddaughter here. Lots of sales right now too...

Love this place has really neat items for sale and of course a great book selection and very kind employees.

Sadly, this experience wasnt as good as prior visits. They had only 1 copy of a book I needed two copies. could only find one person who was actually working in the store She was very helpful, but she was the only one to assist.

The store was organized in a way that made sense. It was really easy to find what we were looking for. Cashier was super nice and friendly.

They have everything! Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, nice location and I nary have a time that I cant find what Im looking for.

They almost always are out of stock of certain books. They have not had reflection by Elizabeth Lim for over a month. Also, they never have cashiers at checkout, you almost always have to walk around and find them. They need to be more attentive to their stock and they need to have a bigger staff.

Went here to take my son to get his first book from a bookstore. Lots of great books, only reason for the 4 stars is because of the amount of toys being sold, I havent been to a books a million in ages, it was nice. Anyone with kids knows why I mentioned the toys.

I love books a million. Such a relaxing place to be. I love their Joe muggs section too, I always find something good to treat myself. Its not the biggest location in the world though but the staff is a breath of fresh air.

Please stop trying to push magazine subscriptions and other unwanted nonsense. It takes longer than needed waiting to checkout due to these poor cashiers being forced to sell useless bs. Just let me buy my book(s) and leave in a timely manner.

Came into store the other night for the first time and it will probably be the last. Came in 20 minutes before closing, what a mistake. The girl stocking books was very unhappy I asked her anything, she points in direction of where I should go. I tell this is my first time to their store and she just points again of where I should go. Of course I can not find the section. I go back up front and another associate helped me find the book I was searching for. Even tho it was almost closing time, I felt very unwelcomed and there are no savings either. I even looked at the vinyls, they were new, but not in new condition and horribly over priced. The fact I had to go ask for help twice really turned me off along with the over inflated prices of everything. I rarely leave a store without buying something and that is just what I did.

Surprisingly good. They carried products other bookstores didnt from major brands like Harry Potter, FunkoPop, and more. The dvd selection is sparse and even more so the vinyls. Plenty of books and magazines to browse through to last a lifetime.

This is a very huge bookstore, most of the time you can find what youre looking and some of the time you cant. Good place to start if you need any books for school, work or business.

Always a fun visit, no one rushing you, coffee shop, tables and chairs inside and out. Knowledgeable help when looking for something. Books, toys, games, most likely to find a gift for anyone.

One of the last book stores around it seems... nice to be able to browse magazines, books, and other stuff in person before buying.

Four Stars for Rex and Ernest, two of managers, who are phenomenal at running the store. Very huge, wide selection, and overall great place to be. One star docked for the manager Susie, who treats her employees and customers like garbage.

I have been waiting for them to restock modern Mini since they changed the name to Performance Mini but they told me they wont carry it because not enough people buy it. But they stock lots of obscure magazines on British busses, adult magazines, lbgtq magazines, tattoo magazines and so many obscure ones. This seems to be a very political left store from the placement of books as well.

I am so sorry I was only able to spend 30 minutes in there and was not able to explore the entire experience of a true book store I love it this place is great I could spend at least two hours just walking through and seeing what everything that they have.

This place is so clean and people are so friendly and always willing to help when you need it!
