Total scam! Ridiculous prices, embarrassingly pushy & absolutely clueless staff. I’m shocked that this place is still open. Don’t go in, ever!

I purchased the wrinkle tightening solution and intensive eye serum today for ~$300. I have to admit, I regretted it when I got home. That’s just a lot of money. I really did see results in the store though. I read reviews and, as you can see, they’re pretty bad. I considered returning the products. But the bad reviews are really about the sales tactics and customer service. The folks that actually talk about the products seem to really like them.Yani, the salesman, was nice. Did I believe all the flattery and compliments? No. Do they put beautiful women out front to draw people in? Yes. Was there a little pressure? Yes. But I could have walked out without spending anything.I’m going to give these products a try. I won’t purchase them again if I don’t like them.

The staff is very nice and friendly. I went on a Monday morning around 11 am and there were only 3 other customers in there. Portos is down the street so you can hit 2 places at once. The brushes are super affordable for poor college students like me

I was on vacation in San Francisco and walked past this store. They were standing on the sidewalk getting people to come and try their product. I bought four products, one of which was the wrinkle tightening solution ($395). I got exactly three uses out of it.. a small drop each use. My guess is I was sold what was left of the tube they were using as a demo. I would definitely not recommend this store to anyone!!! I can’t speak for the product because I didn’t get enough to determine if it worked or not! Very angry!!!

This place is honestly a makeup lovers dream. They have lots of items at a very affordable price. Id say the two downsides are that it gets so packed and there isnt enough staff so it can take a while for you to be helped. They run out of products fairly quickly so sometimes its even best to just buy them online. Small tip: Hautelook website also has certain days where OROGOLD Cosmetics products are sold at a lesser price than they originally go for. Either way theyre affordable, but if you want to save a few bucks try that website.?

Please do not support this business. Their policy of hiring boys to stand out front and cat call women passing is not acceptable. The young women they have added now who yell to try and get you inside is not much better. I have to walk by this store regularly and can’t wait for the day it goes out of business so I can walk by without being harassed.

I was distracted & got sucked by someone leading me into the store. Physically. By the arm. I kept trying to leave & the salesman was putting product on my skin. I finally got my bearings & just walked out & made sure to be on the OTHER side of the street on my way back to my hotel. I looked in the mirror in the hotel & my face was splotched & smeared with crusty product. So gross!! The salesman said dont try to kiss me when you see the results. What?? Its 2019. People should be able to enjoy Union Square without being harrassed & touched my a cosmetic salesperson.

The worst place I’ve ever walked by. Unkempt sales persons using a fan to dry eye gel on under eye area? That’s weird. Products have no active ingredients; they don’t work.Total scam. Place should be shut down and illegal immigrants working there sent home. Stay clear.

DONT fall for their high pressure sales tactics!!!!! They will tell you they are giving you the sale of the century and convince you that you need their product - very convincingly. This was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had! They are very good at what they do. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID!!!!!

Im happy to help bring this places star rating down. I am ashamed that this scam is taking up a brick & mortar space on Market street. A scam is defined as a dishonest scheme, a fraud, a swindle -- this sham of a company puts attractive Israelis to hassle vulnerable-looking passer-by into buying exorbitantly expensive, and completely useless (and toxic), skin care. The moisturizer is made of a blend of cheap petroleum-sourced emollients and emulsifiers, sunflower oil and toxic preservatives (from an Amazon review). STAY AWAY and please get out of San Francisco! (Also, how come no one has sued them yet?!)

They hire excellent salespeople with a very hard sell. I was offered a free sample as I passed by the shop on the street and them enticed in. Im a cynical person by nature but I was on verge of buying after the sales talk and when I said I would get back to them they said the offer was only available that day. I personally couldnt afford their products. There are some reviews on amazon about them.

I hope you see this review in time before you make your purchase. They will use disgusting sales tactics to prey on unsuspecting tourists. My word of advice: DO NOT BE NICE TO THEM! JUST WALK AWAY!They spent one hour convincing my wife to buy from them, she bought because of the pressure and then right after went back to return and they said they couldnt give refunds.

Had same experience as others with nice but extremely aggressive sales tactics- was enticed in by free sample came out $500 later in San Francisco - read reviews after purchase returned to get full refund insisted the refund or I would call police - they refunded hopefully! I am ashamed I fell for this pitch I am very cautious!

Awful personal work here!!! Message to the owner - ASK THEM TO STOP be so abtrusive and haunting!! It’s annoying! Don’t give with the force to EVERYONE ( especially to women who show that they are NOT interested) your samples, don’t wave your hands in front of people! It’s rude and against the appropriate customer service! Next time, if someone from the shop ( usually it’s 2 boys there ) will try to stop me and talk with me or cross the road - I will have to speak with police and will have to send official complaints to authorities. I live close to your shop and DON’T want to feel myself uncomfortable when walking almost every day there. It’s related to both your shops, on Powell and on Market street.

Orogold and Premiere Dead Sea Cometics are one and the same, worst company ever. I would give it no stars if I could. They use unethical sales tactics. Customer service staff are like vultures. They prey on humans vulnerabilities. It all seems like a big scam. Unfortunately, the company operates internationally and it uses same bully approach in their sales tactics to force people to buy their overpriced shady products.STAY AWAY!

Absolutely disgraceful ... DO NOT BUY Very pushy Isrealy guy who pretended he was a star and had met Beyoncé and madonna !!. Oh and was studying dermatology. He couldnt even clean his shoes. I know more about skincare that he ever could.I made a huge mistake and bought some products, only to find the one I really wanted was swapped in the bag for the one I didnt want. Unfortunately I was flying home and just packed what I thought was the moistureizer to find when I got home it was not there !!..I will be calling and making a formal complaint and expect my moisturiser to arrive at home here in the U.K. Within the week.If I can tell anyone else dont make the mistake I made avoid at all costs. I am ashamed that the hotel I was staying in the Sir Francis Drake condoned this behaviour.
