Very good halal market, everything there is organic

Very good grocery store in the tenderloin area. Has a wide variety of things and always stocks fresh produce.

This story is a breath of fresh air to this area. The prices are reasonable for a small store. The staff are very friendly and helpful.There is a wide variety of things there. And a couple of imports! British and Middle Eastern items.Every other store in this area is a liquor store that happens to sell food. This is an actual grocery store. I dont think they even sell any alcohol.I like to pick up the necessities and then treat myself to a few dates, from the large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables.BEST of all, they are open to 11pm for that stuff that you forgot earlier.

I regularly walk away from this market wondering why I wait in line at Whole Foods for produce. This place sincerely has great, fresh produce at reasonable prices. A perfect local market.

We often stop here to pick up misc ingredients needed to complete our dinner. This store may be small, but it carries most things you might need from fresh produce to delicious cheeses.

I used to patronize this convinence store for years. Unfortunately I have now moved away from this nieghborhood, but continue to stop by to get some items I missed at the grocery store or to pick up something I might not have expected to be in need of our simply to say hello to the owner and staff. I have always felt that the staff is very helpful, always greet you with a big genuine smile and sincere acknowledgement of Welcome or How are you doing? of course the prices are surprisingly reasonable for this type of convinence store. , actually I would even go further and say that their prices are lower than their competitors just down the street at Oferrall and Polk. The best grocery store below California St., with a good selection of produce and at good prices. Everything is halal, so youll have to look elsewhere for your pork products, gelatin, etc.

FRESH PRODUCE in the TENDERLOIN!! When Taha (Taja?) is there, this is 5 stars. It has more healthy food jammed into the small space than imaginable. Requests are ordered and stocked for customers. Taha allows people to store their food in his fridge for short times, and if someone asks him he gives them a piece of fruit or produce free. The prices are lower than the neighboring stores. Temporarily being run by a lesser man, Mo. He can be nasty. PS. No Alcohol, No cigarettes, Halal meat sold, closed for prayers on Friday 1-2 pm.

The stock fresh produce that is pretty good, but its pricey and the service is so-so.

Not bad for the area but they are a bit RUDE to the local Homeless and down on their luck :( Rather shop shop just down the block. they are friendly to all from what ive witnessed.

Despite there being a parking lot across the street, their delivery vehicles park in the bike lane illegally, putting public safety at risk.

Affordable and fresh produce. I go here on a daily basis for the things I need.
