Took my niece there for her birthday and while yes it is a pricey for a doll, it was worth the money. She loved walking through the store and looking at all the displays for all the dolls. The waiter at the cafe was amazing and made sure to speak directly to her. We loved the entire experience.

Very cool toys store for children. Not really adult or teen friendly as the selection is not so exciting to me.That said, there was a few item I purchased for myself and my son that were very cool. I got the BAT from the last Batman movie! YEH.

This place has definitely been around forever. I love vintage toys and weird finds, so this place is definitely a great option for browsing through dusty collections and finding something special. Treasure hunting, if you will! Their stock is also generally very affordable, and theres tons of it! Up to the ceiling, even! Thanks for being a great local business.

They have great collection of toys specially for infants and toddlers.Did lot of shopping for my 10 months old.You will get multiple options to choose.And enjoy.Not a bad place for younger kids.

While their merchandise is a little more expensive the store itself has soo much more variety than big box department stores. The customer service is excellent and during Christmas they offer complementary gift wrapping too!

I went into Ambassador Toys thinking Id like to buy a MacLaren double stroller (since I love my MacLaren single stroller). Ron was extremely knowledgeable about double strollers. I ended up buying a Valco Baby Snap Duo. Its wonderful! Easy to drive, super light and portable, and with lots of lovely features. I am so glad that I went to Ambassador Toys instead of just buying a stroller online. I purchased a much nicer and more suitable stroller.

I love coming into ambassador on a lazy weekday afternoon! they have a ton of toys and games from my childhood, as well as an excellent selection of newer games. it always takes me forever to leave once i set foot inside...be prepared to spend more than just a few minutes in here!

Daughter loved this toy store selection. Not many toy stores in the area and luckily there was one in the ghost town on the wknds Embarcadero.

Cute and expensive toy store that caters to professionals who are in a hurry and yet need a gift. Many very cute toys, including a very overpriced series of animal puppets. The store was nicely organized by theme, including the alcove where science projects, star trek and Star wars were grouped.

We love this toy store,, As a Local 55 year friscan, this is by far the BEST toy store in the city hands down.Free wrapping, great Toys, Personal Service, ,, And yes you may pay a Little higher price,,, but with NO long lines, corporate garbage, and they offer Easy No question asked returns,, We support Local stores, and this by far is one of the best in the city !.. Our Kids love it just as much,, And we look forward to doing our holiday shopping there every year since they opened ,, THANKS SO MUCH for being a TRUE home style toy store!

Not many toy stores in the area. This one has many items that are traditional fun items (i.e. yoyos, pogo sticks) for the pre-iphone set. Also, the shop has a large great crafts assortment, and a very friendly staff. Excellent location for FiDi and Ferry crowd
