Moving is definitely one of the most stressful times for me. This whole year has been challenging! I was recommended to use Omega to move and I’m so happy I did. They were very accommodating working in my timeline. They were fast and efficient. The move went pretty smoothly. The movers were professional and very careful with my furniture. Thank you Omega!

My company was moving from a skyscraper in downtown san Diego to rancho Bernardo a big move. The firm requires a million dollar liability insurance which not to many moving companies have but omega does I am not quite sure why they have low stars great company awesome employees. only a 2 day move will hire again

Edited Added To The Bottom. Do NOT hire! Omg I could scream right now! This is the worst moving company experience in my life. We’ve spend 3 hours looking for a power cord to a TV. Every box is full of stuff and labeled something else. You’d think they’d pack tv components together. We’ve found parts to one thing in several different boxes and the box labeled PARTS BOX has no parts in it. The worst is every knob on a dresser or anything that had a knob on it they took off and screwed on backwards. So I can’t even open some drawers to screw them on correctly. And all our stuff is scuffed up along the edges.We are military and they still didn’t care about our items. We still have not found the power cord to our tv weeks later. All boxes have been gone thru and we can’t even find our couch pillows. This is ridiculous.

Do not pay this company a cent. They don’t respond to calls, nobody has any information about anything. They decide when you can access your own property and they make it nearly impossible and incredibly expensive to do so. They are not communicative and they don’t work with their customers.

A local company quoted me 15,000 dollars from the bay area to Miami Florida. Omega only quoted me 12,452they did the move within 2 weeks..........you rock omegaaaaaaaaa

Omega cancelled on us less than 24 hours before we moved. We booked them for a two part move including storage and they cancelled on us Friday late afternoon for Saturday after paying a deposit and being booked for 2.5 months. I could go on and on but DO NOT USE THEM!!! unprofessional, lacked any compassion for the situation they put us in with two young children and just were like welp! Talk to accounting for your refund, they forgot to secure storage after I can confirmed with them twice!!

February 19, 2021 my father unexpectedly passed away 3 hours prior to the crews arrival to move my father and I from San Diego to Tucson. First the crew left several things behind, including 2 beds, a TV, multiple side tables, blue Ray players, bedding and much more. They did not give me a receipt or any paperwork. I was on the phone with Reynaldo Garcia (fake last name it is actually REYNALDO or REY MENDEZ), when the crew left with no notice. Reynaldo took my fathers credit card and overcharged me for the move and storage fees. Additionally in the following days he continued to charge my recently deceased fathers card for close to $2000 for Epoxy Resin. The first charge was small - under $20. But the next ones were both close to $1,000 each. My father had never used the card prior to the move, so I am 100% sure someone at Omega (most likely Rey) made the fraudulent charges. I had to drop out of the sale of our home and procure one smaller. Omega allegedly stored my items in San Ysidro until I could purchase a different home. When I called Rey in April and asked him to send my load, At that time Rey claimed he never charged my fathers card for the move and he demanded close to $2000 in additional funds to get my belongings to me. I came up with the funds and requested a delivery date. The scheduling department scheduled my items to come on numerous dates and the load never showed up. At this time I began to work on my fathers estate; I came across his credit card statement that was used for the move. I saw all the charges totaling well over $5000. A chargeback was immediately initiated for the recent monies sent to Omega as per police and detectives.Rey was not happy about the chargeback. I requested a date for my load to be dropped off. Rey regularly tried to throw me off by engaging me in personal talk about our children, he would keep me on the phone for 1-2 hours talking about them (he said he had 2 boys, another lie he has 2 adult daughters— small world I went to Highschool with his ex wife and mother of his children). I knew this guy, we went Highschool together. Mira Mesa High. At that time I requested to speak with the CEO Elan Bassset also the owner (this person has several different last names, he is also a convicted felon from NY). Long story short I have battled for 4 months and I have been passed around with promises of delivery from Eva Mondaca (VP of operations?!?!) she has consistently found random excuses as to why they were unable to send the load. 4 months later and I am living in my new house without my belongings. I recently took to Facebook to see if any of my classmates knew Reynaldo Mendez and if they could pm me. I’m still trying to locate my belongings. At that time his adult daughter in Temecula and her “boyfriend” in Florida sent me threatening messages on Facebook Messenger. I don’t know if my belongings are in storage or have been sold. I feel powerless. I put in police reports in San Diego and Tucson immediately. Also filed a claim with department of transportation. I feel as if I paid someone to rob me blind. Stay far away from Omega and Elans other businesses EJ and S investment group inc. and Pak and Box, LLC. Do not work with Rey Garcia (MENDEZ)

Horrible company! Save yourself the headache and money and go with another reputable company. This company gave me a set price, then less than 24 hours called to almost double the price. Ray Garcia tells me to pay or find another moving company less than 24 hours. I could not believe a company would do that to their customers. They do not honor their rates and are not trustworthy. Highly recommend you take your business elsewhere!

Please do yourself a favor and believe all the negative reviews that you read about this business. They will sweet-talk you into getting your business saying that the negative reviews you read are as a result of disgruntled customers. But, please know that no matter how good they sound or how good the price they offer you is, hiring them is not worth your peace of mind. These movers/business are part of the shadiest ones that give all movers bad names. We contracted them to move us from San Jose, CA to Seattle on December 19 but no one showed up until December 20. After we were picked up, we could not get a definitive date on when our goods would be delivered. After calling numerous times and threatening legal action, they delivered us on January 27th. Furniture was damaged, boxes were squashed and items were broken. In the middle of the move, the driver disappeared and no one from the company could tell us where he went or what has happening. All in all it has been a mess and the couple hundred dollars we thought we were saving, we have spent on stress. They lack integrity, are not transparent and frankly do not care about you as a customer or your goods for that matter (unless you are from the department of defense, then they will provide their best service).

I used Omega Moving for my long distance move from San Diego. Overall I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. I called many other companies but Omega Moving gave me the best price. They also have their own app called Speedy Moving Inventory and that made the whole process smoother as I was able to track the status of the move and each item had a barcode to ensure you receive all your belongings. I highly recommend this company.

The guys who did the pick up and drop off were super friendly. They did a good job at loading and unloading the truck in a timely manner and everything was wrapped. Pricing was fair compared to other local companies

Omega used another company to deliver my items. They damaged multiple items in my shipment. They did not honor the full service promise and did not assemble any of my items upon delivery. They also allowed the company to hold my items for an additional $250 charges upon delivery. They acknowledged that I should not have to pay that. I submitted a claim and they would not honor it. They provided no compensation for anything. They also ignored multiple calls and e-mails. Very disappointing.

Just completed a move from Northern to Southern CA using Omega movers. Ray helped me through the estimate process, while Alfonso and Axel did the fantastic job of the actual move. All ofMy belongings arrived in great condition except for a couple of small items that I didn’t pack properly. I had not seen the apartment until moving in, and Alfonzo and Axel were very patient with me. Thanks again to this great team - Is recommend them highly!

I couldn’t believe how fast they packed us (less than half the estimated time!) They were extremely careful with our items and took extra care when wrapping and packing our fragile items and furniture items. So impressed!! They will be our first call for every move going forward.

Im very happy to have chosen Omega Moving for my recent move from San Francisco back to San Diego. Initially worked with Trish for booking my move, all was very easy. Omega was the best priced company by far. Monica called me a few days before my move to schedule the best time for pick up, which I told her first thing on a Saturday morning, and she gave me the first available time slot between 9:00am - 11:00am. I was happy when the foreman, Darren called the night before saying they would arrive at 8:00am! Darren and his partner (sorry cant remember his name) were right on time, super friendly and very efficient. They finished my move quickly, and I was on the road back to SD soon after. Darren informed me that the delivery time was between 5-7 days, but thought he could make it by Tuesday. I was very surprised to hear from him the NEXT day, asking if he could deliver late that night instead! What a quick turn around! Monica then followed up a few days after to ensure my satisfaction.Again, very happy with Omega! Strongly recommend this company!

When it comes to move, I only use Omega Moving in storage in town.I never feel stressed, because I know that I am in the good hands of this company.Elan Basset, who is the owner of the company, is very professional, reliable and friendly man. I know him almost for 10 years by now, and his company helped me to move 9 times within San Diego and they also moved my business couple of times, which included the high end artwork (glass, chandeliers, sculptures and paintings).Elan has an amazing team of employees. I never had any damaged or scratched items during all these moves. His leading man, Jesus, is on top of everything. He supervises every step and makes your move so enjoyable, quick and stress free.I also, like Al, who is the man with the golden hands. If you need to fix anything, he can do miracles for you.I definitely recommend this company to anyone, who wants to move or use their storage facility. Omega Moving is truly awesome. We had a huge household with tons of stuff and furniture. They arrived early in order to insure that the delivery was made the same day. The crew was the hardest working that Ive seen. They all worked so well together. They wrapped everything, and were so careful not to damage anything. During the off-loading, they placed everything where we wanted it. I can not recommend them too highly. I would definitely recommend Omega to friends.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this company. For many reasons....bad movers and hidden fees. I feel bad saying bad movers because at the end of the day they are workin hard. However, I am pretty sure they are trained to figure out a way to take as longgg as they can. This was my first time using a different company (usually used GREEN MOVERS) so I am pretty experienced in moving my things. I was prepared, everything was packed and all the movers needed to do was wrap my furniture and load and unload the truck. Tell me why my 500 square foot PACKED UP apartment took them 3 hours to load! Plus a lot of my stuff came damaged. I bought the guys lunch because I can only imagine purposely taking a long time is probably more exhausting than working normal.To top it off, there are hidden “travel time” fees that they do not talk about. I have emails asking “it will only cost $100 an hour, nothing else right?” And he confirmed, yet I still ended up paying more than that rate.Office staff tried to be helpful at first, and agreed on a $200 refund as long as I signed an Affidavit and made me remove my past yelp reviews. Well, I definitely was not going to get legal documents involved for $200 or waste anymore time on them so I asked for $100 without an affidavit and they never responded. Been over a month, if not almost 2.So I’m eating my $200 refund in exchange to make sure the world knows how terrible this company is. I’d rather spend my time doing that.Go use GREEN MOVERS. They are amazing. Have moved me and many of my friends and have always been great.Good luck!

Loved the service. After informing them to deliver my stuff from SanDiego to San Jose, they delivered it within 2 weeks and perfectly in the given 2-hr window of delivery. Delivery guys were very professional can careful in unloading all the stuff and kept it in the place where I told them to in my house. They came with proper documentation and entire process was smooth..Definitely recommend.. For price and for service.

This was the worst move moving company I have every experience. They packed heavy stuff on top of breakables. The individuals that moved us did an absolutely horrible job of packing our stuff! They did not seal the crates in front of us. They said they got permission from the company to not seal them. They took our stuff back to the warehouse and sealed it there. Unfortunately they must have had to unpack some stuff because we ended up with a missing color printer, a broken paper shredder, a missing 8 foot ladder, multiple missing very expensive coats and clothes, a broken DVD Recorder, a missing hand made bench and a lot of broken kitchen items as well. We even found stuff that did not belong to us in the shipment! I just hope that someone gets their stuff back! I have been in the Navy for 24 years and have had multiple moves with this being by far the worst move I have ever experienced. These people need to find different jobs. Horrible company !Someone recommended to my son who was moving from San Diego to Los AngelesThey were very nice and professional at the beginning the promise my son all the best service they charge $3000 to move him he lived in one bedroom apartment and didn’t have much furnitureThe packing was done very poorly, majority of his plates and glasses were broken , the plates were packed vertically and not enough plates on each box so all the movement cause the plates to break as well as glasses- extremely unprofessional and lack of respect of others time, they told my son that they will leave sand Diego at 5:00 am arriving at Los Angeles at 8:00 am, I was there 20 minutes late and kept calling them , the customer service misinformed me and the truck arrived at 11:30amThe driver was very rude and demanded be paid before unloading, even so my son had already paid everything the night beforeThey jus throw all boxes in the new place and the clothes mostly suits and dress shirt were all over the floorThey opened mostly all the boxes looking for wires and left the place as if a tornado had passed byThe re assembly of the furniture was done very poorly, legs of tables were put incorrectly and same furniture was broken as wellThat took «  by mistake my son tool box and his basket ball »They were supposed to send some else to fix the furniture and since 8/29/19 to this date 10/15/19 we still waitingThey have stopped responding our callsDon’t get this company if you want to avoid a catastrophe !

Ive been lied to, double talked, overcharged. The company never sent an estimator, and subsequently brought a truck that was too small, had to stop the move in the middle, and now we are in a second day wherein the second crew showed up and looked at what was left, and said oh wow. If I knew how much you had left I would have brought more guys and pads. Oh and we cant move a trampoline...I need to get back to these geniuses at the moment but wanted to share my thoughts.

Save yourself the headache and money and go with another reputable company. If I could could give 0 stars or even negative I would. The company gave My grandparents a set price, then later doubled it. That should had been our first clue to how bad this company is. They rushed the job and packed things poorly because when they arrived things were broken and stuff was missing! But worse they make you pay as soon as they drop everything off , so you cant go through your stuff to make sure everything is ok. They take your money and run away with it. In all honesty they were better off selling everything and just buying new furniture to avoid the mess these movers have caused.

I was sooooo dreading our move. I have two young kids and we were putting off our move as if it was a visit to the dentist for a root canal. When the day finally came I actually found myself weirdly enjoying the experience. In retrospect I think it was the really professional, reassuring and understanding crew that moved us. After spending 7 hours together, I felt a bond with these guys, seriously, The entire process working with Omega was smooth, the only thing I didnt like was filling out the Docusign stuff -- it was quick but confusing. Nothing was damaged and nothing got out of control. I knew where everything was going to be placed in my new house and the guys didnt make any decisions without asking me first. I even changed my mind a few times (a womans right ;)). Thanks Omega!!!!! Love my new house and the experience was great.

Avoid this moving “company” at all costs. I ultimately had to pay 3-4x for another company for last-minute moving services due to Omega not showing up on the day of my reserved date. Seriously, please, save yourself the trouble and go with an actually-professional service.I booked and paid the deposit for a long-distance move (from the SF Bay Area to Seattle) weeks in advance, but on the day of, they never showed up and completely ghosted me. I had to submit a credit card dispute to even attempt to get my deposit back, as all of my calls and voicemails in the following days to both the dispatch agent and Rey Garcia (the “moving specialist” they had assigned to my move) went completely unanswered and unreturned.PLEASE, to anyone considering Omega (even a little) for their moving needs – go to literally anyone else.
