What an amazing experience at Mattress Pavilion! Jaya was amazing in that she did not rush us to decide on a mattress and we got the most comfortable mattress with an adjustable base, sheets and even pillows at great price, no haggling necessary. The delivery occurred within a couple days and they were right on time and they fully setup the bed. Thank You Jaya, and everyone at Mattress Pavilion.

Kristen was very helpful. We needed a fast replacement of our old adjustable platforms. She helped us pick the right ones for our use, coordinated throughout via email, text and phone and made sure we were satisfied. The delivery guys were very friendly and helpful, took the old platforms and made sure the beds were in place and we understood the operation. Were very happy with our experience.

Jaya is super friendly and knows all about mattresses. When i went she had some high end mattresses at 40% off.Takes cleanliness very seriously, cleans woth IV light, masks and has the acrylic barriers.

Sheryl is a true bed expert. She knows the science of sleep as well as body alignment for best sleep performance. The prices are very agreeable and affordable. Id recommend this mattress pavilion to anyone looking to buy a good quality, comfortable, affordable mattress. They are the nicest and most understanding ladies ever! Really helped me with my mattress search and they aren’t there to upsell you on anything like the local mattress firm. 10/10, I went in and walked out 10 minutes later with a mattress.

Shopped around at a few places and none came anywhere close to having the customer service and low pricing. Jaya was incredibly helpful and even had a temporary mattress delivered to my new condo within hours as the model I chose wasn’t in stock.

A few weeks ago, we bought temperpedic mattress, foundation and waterproof cover. These are expensive but I am satisfied with these items.(my daughter also loves it!) My wife and I went shopping for a new mattress after almost 20 years. We luckily found the Mattress Pavilion showroom and there met the owner, Jaya Karns. Jaya was very knowledgeable. She listened carefully to our needs and ultimately, we settled on a luxury mattress and an adjustable frame.The mattress arrived on time in their warehouse, but the adjustable lift frame was delayed from the manufacturer. Jaya offered to deliver the mattress with a substitute adjustable bed frame until the one we ordered had arrived. She was willing to deliver and return again to switch out the frame at no cost. We declined because it was only a matter of an additional few days. Nevertheless, we thought that her offer demonstrated great concern for her customers’ satisfaction. When we did in fact receive the full order a few days later, the delivery team was excellent and executed a very professional white glove delivery. However, one of the panels on the adjustable lift frame could not be perfectly leveled. We contacted Mattress Pavilion who immediately called the manufacturer’s technical support. Within a couple of days, they dispatched a technician who came to our property to try to make some adjustment but determined that the problem was due to a minor misalignment in the assembly. Even though in all practicality, with the weight of the mattress on top of the frame, we might never notice the half-inch disparity, Jaya arranged for an exchange with a brand-new adjustable frame, which was delivered and was perfectly aligned.We were aware that sometimes there is “break in” period wherein your body has to adjust to a new mattress. Unfortunately, my wife was waking up with a sore back and after about three weeks we contacted Jaya who suggested we continue to try it out for a little while longer to determine if she could adjust to the mattress. But if not, there was a 120-day exchange policy whereby we could exchange the mattress without the cost of a restocking fee. After a few more weeks wife still felt that the mattress was too firm, and she was still waking up with backaches. We contacted Jaya who invited us to come back to the showroom to pick out another mattress for an exchange. We did so and found a softer mattress that my wife felt would be more comfortable.The cost of this mattress was over $1300 more than the original mattress even with the full credit applied. Jaya contacted other retailers to see if the same mattress was being sold for less and if so, she would price match it. She was unable to locate the same product for less cost at that time. However, Jaya promised that if we found a retailer who was selling the mattress for less, she would try to get authorization from the manufacturer to match the price. We did in fact locate a retailer in another city who was selling the same mattress for considerably less and gave the information to Jaya. Apparently, pricing on this particular brand is highly regulated by the manufacturer and retailers are prohibited from selling the mattress below a certain price set by the manufacturer. The competitor whom we located was actually in violation by selling this mattress at prices below their contracted agreement with the manufacturer. Nevertheless, Jaya spoke with the manufacturer and received permission from their Vice President to match the other retailer’s price. Obviously, we were delighted.My wife and I are now sleeping perfectly well on this new mattress, which again was delivered, exchanged with the older mattress, and courteously and professionally set up. After these experiences Mattress Pavilion is the only place in San Diego where will ever shop for another bed. I can’t say enough good things about Jaya and her outstanding staff. They have proven again and again that customer service really matters to them and will do everything possible to have satisfied customers. That kind of dedication to service is exceedingly rare and we are so impressed by this small business owner who really goes above and beyond to make her customers happy:)

We bought a split California king Tempur Pedic Mattress. I picked out a medium and my husband picked out a firm. We bought it on a Saturday and it was delivered on Tuesday.Excellent costumer service from Jaya Karns and we couldn’t be happier.The delivery men were courteous and friendly. I would absolutely recommend you purchase your next bed from Mattress Pavilion.

Several months ago my husband and I shopped for a mattress here. Jaya, the owner, had a depth of knowledge that far surpassed what we had expected. She acknowledged our frustration with the national mattress companies changing the names of mattresses to make it harder to compare and she even was familiar with our mattress we had purchased many years ago on the east coast. Then Jaya told us about the way the different mattresses are made and with what materials, which mattress company had been family run for a hundred years, which one used all organic latex vs. only organic latex on top, which used technology from the auto industry and applied it to mattresses. She did not deluge us. But as scientists, my husband and I kept asking questions, and she continued to have thorough answers!!!Most importantly, after a thorough education, Jaya is not a sales person trying to pull the wool over a customers eyes and achieve a quick sale. She is a store owner who wants a very happy customer and to be a customer for life. She was honest about how much of a discount she can get from the company and how much she can pass that savings on to you.She indeed accomplished her goal and we are customers for life. We went back last month to buy another mattress, this time for our son attending college. We didnt think she would be able to ship to the Bay area, but we were wrong. She ships all the time all over the country.She is so dedicated to her customers, that despite our narrow time frame for having the mattress delivered to our sons apartment, she even absorbed the extra expense the delivery company charged to meet our narrow time frame needs. I dont know that she can do that for everyone, but we were repeat customers, and again, she really wants people to be pleased and to return.I cant recommend this shop and Jaya enough. If there was a way to give a 5+ rating, I would!!

Amazing service, knowledge and prices!

We walked in and walked out. The mattress were yellow and dirty. They also didnt have a wide variety. We went to Ortho-Mattress instead!
