This is my go to neighborhood store. All the guys working are very friendly and super helpful. Great wine and beer selection, and you cant beat the 5 cent wine deal.

Cool place they had a promotion and the guy gave me a free lighter a Bic lighter. I go there mostly because their prices are not all jacked up like other liquor stores even though I dont drink the food and pizzas and cokes and mountain dews are a good price compared to other liquor stores selling two or three dollars this place charges like half of what every other liquor store in PB charges. Go there its only about another half mile from Grand and Garnett. 18 year PB resident.

Went here on my 21st birthday I read the reviews and was excited to visit the friendly staff. Went to buy the bottle of wine and he didnt accept my Colorado id, he. Never gave a reason and was very rude about it. Not the experience I expected. Would not recommend

The minute you walk in the door you feel very welcomed with a friendly hello and a can I help you. And, they will and also do. Drop in and grab your stuff and head out. I think you’ll like that... I know I do.

Anyone who leaves less than 5 stars is obviously a Bud Light Lime drinker and should be shunned. The beer selection here (esp for cold beer) is in the top three in a San Diego. Havent been to the place downtown in a decade, and cant really think of another place with this selection where the beer isnt stale (place in LJ take note... If its old, dont sell it). The best part are the guys that work here. They are amazing, they know beer, and they remember you (at least if you have a beer problem and are there weekly for 8 years!)

I go here almost daily, customer service is EXTRAORDINARY and they have the best beer/wine and goodies! Dont forget the buy one bottle of wine, get the next for 5 cents. I even requested they get this vodka I like, couple days later they had it in stock waiting for me! Also bomb cigars... And of course scratchers and lotto tickets. Love it

Best neighborhood wine/liquor/market. Staff knows you by name, has great recommendations, and they have a dangerously extensive ice cream selection.

This place has prices comparable to the grocery store and has an amazing selection of beer and wine.
