I love this shop. The staff is knowledgeable and great cheese selections. I havent tried the sandwiches yet but Ill go back soon.

Besides the fact that they sell amazing cheese, I really appreciate their safety protocols. Only one group is allowed in the store at a time and masks are required. This was my first time visiting this location and the young man helping us was very personable and knowledgeable.

We got a charcuterie board for 2 and asked for their recommendations and it was *chefs kiss* I think we got a good amount of delicious meat and cheese for the price, and it was super pretty to look at- great presentation.

I may be obsessed. They have the best trays for nights in, park picnics and special events! Thank you for making COVID birthdays just as special!

The best thing is the selection, followed by it being walking distance. We have been doing the bag of cheese during the stay-at-home, order online, pick it up the next day....and then enjoy the amazing cheese! So many great cheeses and they are excellent at finding you a cheese if you have an idea of what it will go with or texture.

Have been here multiple times and everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. They let you try as many cheeses as you want so you know exactly what you are getting. Everything I have bought from here has been amazing!

Do you like cheese? Check this place out. Great selection, very friendly and helpful staff. They also sell everything youd need for a fancy cheese party including jams, nuts, dry fruit, pretty cheese boards and knives.Yes, its a bit pricey but this is a specialty shop. Can you find some of these cheeses at Whole Foods or elsewhere? Yes. But here you can try them before committing to buying a pre-cut wedge and chat with someone who can recommend something new to you. Its the difference between your local bookstore and Amazon. If thats something you like youll love this place.They also sell fancy grilled cheese sandwiches with their fancy cheese. Super delicious and I highly recommend.

A charmless and snitty reception on going to pick up our preorder left a nasty impression - maybe due to depressive effect of the lockdown but at odds with the ebullience and pleasure I associate with cheese buying in the markets of Europe. Probably wont bother going back.

This place is AWESOME!! I have been coming here for years to get my cheese fix. Great place to get all kinds of yummy cheese for a party or even for just a quick sandwich for lunch. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Just tell them what you like and they make great suggestions. And you can even sample the cheese before you buy to make sure you like it. Whats not to love about that??

One of those not so easy to find Italian food stores with all the great mediterranean and european fine staples with some modern twists added. Very patient and attentive lady at the shop will walk you through all the special ingredients. I had a delicious variation of the menu with speck, exquisite mustard cheddar and tomatoes on a fresh sourdough baguette I could go back and get a second so good it was. Yet you dont need to be late on rent to eat there. Will become a regular!

This place has a terrible vibe and horrible customer service. Me my wife and our son walk into this location at 5:55 on Saturday evening, we are met by a man who immediately says we close in 5 minutes so if you want I slice of cheese thats all we can do I think hello or welcome would have been a better greeting. I asked if they had any platters available and the guys looks at me and tells me in a very condescending way pre-made? Umm no then laughs like it was funny I even asked that question. I would have bought a large platter to be made for another day but My wife and I agreed that he was being extremely rude we decided not to buy anything or return ever again.

Hands down, the best cheese shop Ive ever visited. They always have a great selection and will let you sample anything you want. Make sure to take advantage of the odds and ends basket they have near the register. Its a great way to try something new for a low price.

I pre ordered almost 4 lbs of cheese the day before. The person who helped me on the phone was amazing but the next day the pick up was excruciating. The store is small and I was stuck behind a lady who wanted a soft meltable cheese but not brie she said. The team member helping her was awesome, the issue was the fact that the guy who was working spent literally 20 minutes talking to the customer about random things non related to cheese. All the while a 3rd employee watched me visibly frustrated with this interaction finally stepped in to help. 20 minutes to pick up a pre order while I overheard lessons for life being given between a customer and a monger. So annoying.Will probably take my business elsewhere next time.

The workers there are very friendly and knowledgeable! The samples they give out for cheeses are a lot larger than samples Ive had at other cheese shops, but their selection is also smaller and pricier.

Walked in and gave them a budget - the staff put together a level-10 cheese plate. You can sample pretty much anything in the case and they will also keep track of your purchases so you can easily reorder what you liked (app available).

Coming to Venissimo is better than coming home - 1. Because my house isnt filled with delicious dairy product 2. Because they give you sa-a-a-a-mples galore 3. Because they have those delightfully overpriced crisps with the seeds and nuts and berries that I always buy as an impulse purchase cause you have to eat something other than cheese 4. Because they are literally the nicest people ever that take pity on my cheese-induced stupor to point me in the right direction as my eyes glaze over and mouth starts drooling. Just check it.
