Went for afternoon tea with a couple friends and loved it! I am a vegetarian and they modified the meat savories, but kept them so flavorful and delicious. The little shop is adorable and it was such a fun time. I will definitely be back for a themed tea (or ten).

My friend and I did the Harry Potter themed tea with our young girls and had SUCH and special experience. The food offerings were so delicious and I loved that Selina the owner took the time to teach our kids about British traditions and etiquette. There was so many courses and fun quizzes and presentations in between! We loved this place and will be back again!

I visited in June and the experience was quite wonderful. I love tea but the people I came with dont drink it much. Our waitress spent the time to explain the different teas on their menu and provided some recommendations.I love the personalized tea set each person gets! One tea pot is plenty for yourself. As for the food accompaniments, I love the variety of the finger sandwiches. By the time we got to the bottom tier we were quite stuffed from it.They also have a gift shop where they sell the tea blends they serve. I happily came home with a bag of their creme caramel rooibos tea leaves. I cant wait to visit again!

Every single aspect of our Tea was exceptional. The food and tea were both delicious. SO many courses, arrive hungry. They are small bites but that is deceiving. We ate every single thing and were positively stuffed! The service was wonderful, the waitress was very knowledgeable and answered all our food/tea/culture questions! The shop inside is a ton of fun. We purchased more tea, some brittish snacks and candies too! They have hand pies inside. We will be sure to purchase those the next time were in town.

Did not eat, went in to learn more information and the host was extremely rude. No greeting, after standing idly, we asked what times the seatings were and he rudely mentioned the first time and that it was booked. We awaited him to explain the other times and eventually had to prompt him. Not the experience I was hoping for in a place that is meant to bring the joy of afternoon tea.

I made a reservation here for two for Christmas Afternoon Tea. I thought it was nice that they gave a courtesy call the day before to remind me of the reservation. At $30 per person, the price is steeper than what we typically spend on lunch, but my friend and I thought it was good to treat ourselves once in a while. I liked that there were lots of non-American candies and chocolates to browse inside the shop and we really liked the tea station set up for us to sample each blend before making our decisions for the tea.The patio the tea is served in is quite small and a little crowded, and there isnt really a place to put larger purses. The food overall was okay. My friend and I werent particularly blown away by it: the bread for the sandwiches were on the dry side, and we both found the sausage rolls and yorkshire pudding to be too salty, scone and cream were heavy, and we werent quite sure what to make of the strawberry rhubarb crumble and the mince pie. But I do realize these are differences in personal preferences (aside from the dry bread, but reading other reviews it appears this is a regular thing here) and I could see why people like the food, it just wasnt for us. My friend and I really liked their strawberry jam and their port wine syllabub, though! And the teas were great. Id recommend the cream tea instead of the full spread for people with smaller appetites who wanna try this place for the experience.Id probably give this tea room a solid 3/5 solely for the food but added a star since the tea and service were good and my friend and I still thought this was a good experience to try out. I might come back in the future to try a new tea blend and different monthly menu.

Friends and I attended the Harry Potter Special Event Tea at Shakespeare’s Corner Shoppe and had a wonderful time! They do a great job decorating their patio for just the right number of guests. The three of us had a private table with room for two teapots plus one more on a little stand next to us, so we each got to choose our own tea from inside the shoppe. We liked almost everything served—okay, except one item, but we still appreciated the creativity behind it! Don’t be fooled because the trivia is really hard, so only the very truest fan will win. We brought our own Hedwig for the occasion and loved the little gift at the end.Perusing the shop afterwards, we discovered pasties delicious enough to warrant special trips down to buy them. Definitely give them a try!

Lovely decor, very beautiful . I had an anbsolutely amazing time with my best friend at her birthday party and we so enjoyed our tea time together. Our waiter was friendly i thought. The shope looked cute. However, there were several issues that came to my attention. I give it an second star because of a lovely decor. But the other 3 i believe need to be earned.About my experience before my beautiful friends party arrived:Organizational part is not great! I will be back in the future possibly but definately after checking out other tea shops, as I heard there are pretty amazing ones with more relaxed/layed back organizers. No offense but... it s a bit of a turn off especially for the amount of $$$ . Fyi if you arrive they do not sit you until all of the guests arrive, so you are supposed to hangout standing and wait even if you made your reservations. if you are handicap or not feeling too great you have to stand on your feet , and to go by their rules which seem a bit uptight and unwelcoming! Customers should be seated and have no wait time if they made reservations and if they wait please offer them some chairs at the enterance.I would like to see it more relaxed as I am a customer and paying money , not the OTHER way around. The waiter we had reluctantly sat me after me walking around and waitingi even went around their block to wait. I finally left to wait for the rest of the people to arrive. Not the way I would treat my newly coming customers if I was a tea shop owner / manager.

What a lovely place! The Shoppe has so many different flavors and blends of tea available for your tea (some with references to famous British books and shows). They, also, have a wide selection of treats and memorabilia for you to enjoy at home. My friends and I set up reservations in anticipation of the Royal Wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and the Shakespeare Corner Shoppe went above and beyond. I eat vegan and they had an entire set up just for me. It was obvious how much time they had put into each item on the menu. I plan to go back again and hope you go too!!

Went for Afternoon Tea. Waitress gave me the wrong pot of tea, changed it over, by which time it was barely warm. Sandwiches were dry on top, obviously had been sitting out. Tiny sausage roll and one inch square of quiche and scone were all served cold. Never seen such tiny sandwiches in all my life. You could not really call them a sandwich, they were more like a slice and small round of two pieces of bread with a spread of filling. On top of all this they charged my Visa twice , totaling $76.00 !Between the pot of tea and food, actual cost should have been $8 at most.Worst afternoon tea EVER, and I am English so had lot of afternoon teas and this was the worst.

The Shakespeare corner shop was so fun to visit. The store had cool British snacks that were so fun to try. The tea lunch was so so so good! One of the best high teas I have ever been to. All of the food was fresh and they didn’t use any types of preservatives or flavorings or colors. The tea was also really good. It is outdoor seating on a patio so it was a little hot.
