In February I spoke with Project Manager Bettye Farar regarding purchasing windows for my condo. I provided Bettye the Homeowner Associations requirements and advised her the HOA only has 1 approved Anlin window. Bettye told me she carried this window; however, American Vision Windows sells it under a different name, and she would get the windows approved with the HOA. At the end of February, we signed a contract which was contingent on the HOA approval. I gave her a $1,000 deposit, a week later they came out and measured, and I gave an additional $4,000 deposit. There was a lot of going back and forth between Bettye and the HOA. Bettye was not able to provide documentation to show the two windows were the exact same. At one point Bettye suggested she just change the name on the HOA application. My reply was that is unethical, and I did not want any problems after the windows were installed. A month later, the windows were still not approved, and Bettye was not returning my calls. After leaving 4 messages with the manger, Alex, I was finally able to speak with him. I expressed my concerns with Bettye’s abilities. He stated he would take over my project; this was the one and only time I was able to get a hold of him. After leaving multiple messages for Bettye and Alex with no return calls, I then tried reaching out to the corporate office and even left messages with the owners, Bill and Kathleen, with no return phone calls from anyone. It turns out the window Bettye sold me are not the exact window my HOA requires. For the past two weeks I have been trying to cancel my order and get reimbursed for the $5,000 deposit. Last week I spoke to Flor, she stated she would issue a refund to my credit card, 5 days later, my credit card company has not received anything from them. Now I am disputing the charges with my credit card company.

We instantly became our neighbors envy, so much so, even those who werent talking to us before we changed the windows started saying, congratulations. the windows look so beautiful, who did them for you?These guys are so good, they came, replaced our windows and converted a 1948 built second world war vintage home into a modern day beauty of 2017, all within a space of just four and half hours. Impeccable work of very high quality done flawlessly at the very first time - i had to give them a five star rating. No amount of praise is good enough for these folks.

We recently had American Vision Windows of San Diego replace all of the front windows in our home (rear was done by prior owner). Generally, we don’t ever make a decision on the spot about major purchases, preferring to do “due diligence” with multiple vendors. In this case, we defied our own guidelines and purchased the windows on the first visit by Diego, our sales representative. We did so because we had no doubt about the quality of the Anlin windows and our “BS reading” for Diego was zero. Good start!The measurement guy was our next contact with the company. He was very thorough. And he was followed up by a visit from the operations supervisor who had a question about two bath windows that he wanted to personally inspect just to make sure the proposed type of installation would not harm the new travertine in both of those bathrooms. Another confidence-builder for us!The scheduling department contacted us within a week or so to verify the proposed scheduling time frame and to ensure that we did not have any additional questions. Subsequently, a couple of weeks later, the scheduler called to pin down the specific date of install, which turned out to be Memorial Day. Thorough attention to detail!The installers (there were 5 or 6 of them) worked together well as a team. They put down protective barriers on our flooring so as not to drag in excess dirt on their feet. They did not make a mess inside or outside and completely cleaned up the outside trimming debris on completion. They were very professional in each of their tasks and very polite in their interaction with each of us. And they didn’t even mess up the flowers in the planter boxes by our front door. Impressive!On final inspection one of the installers noticed a scratch on the inside of one of the panes of glass and immediately pointed it out to us with a promise that we would hear very soon from the manufacturer about a replacement. We did not have to discover this ourselves or have any hassle with getting that one sliding panel replaced. A few days later we received a call from the factory confirming they were making a replacement for us and would contact us soon to arrange delivery. Class act!When buying a product of this type several questions come to mind immediately: A) Will the product itself be up to the standards represented to us by the salesperson; and, B) Will they show up when promised to install; and, C) Will the installation be done in a timely and neat fashion; and, D) When the installation is complete will we be pleased with the quality and value; and E) Will it be good enough that we would recommend this company to others?For each of those questions our answer is a resounding “yes”! We are very pleased with the company, their employees and their product, and believe that this summer’s heat level in our home will be significantly different than before those 30 year-old original windows were replaced.You can be very comfortable that this company is the real deal as represented in their advertising and customer interactions. The installation went without a hitch! Manuel, Elias, and Gerardo worked well as a team and did a great job. They took care to remove the old door frame and limit the loss of stucco. The door looks great and there is no visible sign that any work was even done. They also picked up after the work was complete and were done before noon.We are very satisfied both with the quality of the product, the team that did the installation and the overall cost.

Terrible Experience. I had my Rear Patio door installed due to water damage. I thought I would try them out since their doors looked nice and durable. After the install, maybe 5 days later it rained (Feb 2020) and I noticed water leaking really bad on the top panel on the door and onto the my hardwood floor! Either the door was installed incorrectly or not sealed. I mean this was the reason I bought a new one and had it replaced in the beginning. Not really happy with how this played out, and to make matters worse, they have been unresponsive by phone and email. I refused to make the final payment because of this, I have showed them photos and videos of the leakage and they decided to file a Mechanics Lien on my home. No worries, I have responded and filed a complaint with the CSLB in my defense. This could have been easily resolved had they just fixed this.I wouldnt recommend them or ever use them because of this. I am a disabled veteran, I dont account for much Income, but this is no way to treat people especially when they give you the opportunity to make things right.But dont take my word for it, there are photos I took and a video.-Unsatisfied Customer.

I want to give a 5 star review to Ruben and Alex who did my installation. They were courteous and thorough. They answered all my questions and did a thorough cleanup. They even took the stickers off the windows and cleaned them! I am a very happy customer and I highly recommend Amerian Vision Windows.

I would highly recommend American Vision Windows to anyone whos looking to replace existing or install new windows. Starting with the Sales process in working with Juan who was professional and friendly, to installation process and working with AJ, Mark, Duane, Jose, and others, it was just an OUTSTANDING all around experience! The installers showed up early, we had 2 crews at our house, who replaced 14 very large windows and a door (yes, they do more than just windows!) all in 1 day. They even fixed some dry rot areas, and cleaned up the place after the job was completed. The Windows are picture perfect and my wife and I are extremely happy with our new windows.

Awesome company to work with. We hired them to replace all of our windows, replace one of our sliding glass doors with a window and enlarge one window. They quoted us 2 days to do it, and we thought they would be here at least a week. Monday rolled around and like 10 guys showed up. They got right to work and by 3PM day 1 most of the windows and doors were done and only the finishing work on the new construction was left. Day 2 they finished the rest and the house looked pristine. No dust, no mess and our house looks great!

American Vision Windows is a first class operation from start to finish.I did a lot of online research before I went to any showroom, and knewwhat I was looking for. After a visit to the showroom on Miramar Road,and an information packed consultation with Bettye, all the items on my list of wants were checked off. Today, Michael, Alex Sr., Osvaldo, Moises, Brigido and Gerardo showed up on time and went right to work. What a great crew. They were very professional and friendly, polite, and respectful of my property. I had them remove & replace my window blinds as well - extra, but well worth it - and they handled them with care. I was impressed they could replace all my windows in a day, but in actuality they were done by 1 PM. They cleaned up after themselves and you never wouldve known theyd been here.........except for my beautiful windows! 5 stars for sure.

We had 3 patio doors replaced and everything went well. The price was reasonable for premium doors, and they handled minor issues during the install without a hassle. They did slightly damage one wall during install but they sent someone a couple of days later who repaired it well. And without asking for more money. We just recommended them to a friend, not something we do lightly.

I wanted to wait about a month of having the windows installed prior to leaving an in-depth review. I want to first thank Anlin for for manufacturing high quality windows. Next, I want to thank Mike and his team of installers for doing an excellent job despite subpar measurements from Bettye and again by her measuring tech that came out a few weeks later.First, lets start off explaining my experience with Bettye (you should request to deal with anybody EXCEPT her. Shes a scam artist and stereotypical salesperson with more plastic in her than the casing of the windows). I didnt want to deal with a sales pitch. I made that very clear to her before she even showed up. I wanted a simple explanation and presentation on what they offered and to give me her best price. Wouldnt you know it? She spent 4 hours in my house at the start of a pandemic and, at the end of of her pitch, walked away quoting me $12600 for 6 windows and a sliding glass door.I had a few other companies come offer me a quote, and to be honest, I wish I would have went with them despite them not having the exact line of window I wanted (Del Mar) from Anlin. The other companies all quoted me around the same. A no BS, no haggle number around $6500-$7000.I reached back out to Bettye asking if $12600 was the best she could do, and wouldnt you know it? It wasnt! What followed was an exchange of OVER 30 emails between her and I. All the while her prices magically dropped and raised and dropped and raised like I had somehow been teleported onto a roller coaster at Disneyland. Except this ride was never fun or enjoyable. It literally took days of haggling to somehow settle on a number around $7500. Working that Disney magic to drop the price $5000!I was assured that the the retrofit they would be doing would be seamless and a no hassle install. I was told I would lose about an inch of height at top and bottom, especially with the measurements from their measuring tech. I thought that their measuring tech would come out with some laser equipment to get some exact measurements with how much they hyped up the accuracy. The guy literally showed up with a measuring tape. The same measuring tape Bettye used on her first visit. And the measurements were exactly the same as what she got.I lost 8 inches of height from my patio door. EIGHT! If you are over 6ft tall, you basically have to bend over to walk through it. SO SEAMLESS! You could tell by the look on all of the installers faces that things were not right. If it werent for the professionalism and quality of the people installing the windows, this would have never worked out. So unacceptable.All in all this was a TERRIBLE experience. The managers and front office people literally know next-to-nothing about the installation process of the products they are selling. Theyll throw out fancy industry terms to make you think youre talking to a professional. I would give negative stars if I could. Im serious. Dealing with Bettye was akin to purchasing a used car from the shadiest lot in town. Which is what they are, the shadiest window dealer in town.I would give the Mike and the installers a 5-star review alone if I could. You should have them working in the front office and the ones going out to measure. They dont and would never do that because the installers would be honest with you. They would tell you how much height youd actually lose, the real estimate for how long installation would take, and not try to inflate the price by over $5000.Was it worth it to get the Anlin Del Mar window line to deal with all the BS that is American Vision Windows? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do yourself a favor and go with somebody else. There are no professionals at AVW aside from the installation team. But by the time youre dealing with them its already too late.

This is Truly a Family experience starting out with Michael Shea, our sales-rep who started his presentation but speaking ever so proudly about American Vision Windows. After placing the order they kept us posted about the progress starting with Angela contacting us to schedule the measurements and installation date(s). The measuring was done by Abel who as with Michael spoke highly about working for American Vision and how they treat their employees. We were absolutely thrilled with the service we received from American Vision Windows!!We had a unique situation in that our windows were installed two years ago. At the time, we noticed some imperfections with the inside window trim, but were in the midst of a larger remodel and wanted to get on with things. Over the course of the last two years those imperfections kept bugging us, so we called AVW and they sent Zach to visit us.After thoroughly checking out the situation, Zach offered to have someone come out and finish out the inside trim at no charge, even though 2 years had passed, we had shutters installed, and they had every right to say tough luck, you should have told us 2 years ago.When I came home from work last week and saw the completed project, I told my wife Holy cow! Those windows look fabulous!! I was blown away by Zachs commitment to making sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase, even 2 years later. I highly recommend American Vision Windows. Not only is their service excellent, but so is the product.

Listen up folks! American Vision Windows (AVW) is one of the best, most reliable and honest companies I’ve ever dealt with. Having been in the customer service field for nearly 40 years, I tend to be very critical when I’m the customer. From beginning to end, AVW was at the top of their game. In January, I planned to get proposals for 7 new large windows and 2 doors for our sunroom; I had a set price in mind. We met with AVW’s Bettye Farar who was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough explaining the new Anlin windows and doors; AVW’s process and policy. The cost proposal met my targeted price so we signed the contract on the spot. Bettye’s timeline on what would happen when was right on target. She was responsive and timely from start to finish. Manny Cabrera and Gerardo Ibarras were a class act when it came to installation. We were expecting and prepared for stucco damage on the outside of the house because we enlarged the openings on nearly all the windows; there was no damage—it was as if the windows had always been there. They both were customer service oriented, friendly, great at clean up, and worked tirelessly throughout the installation. In a couple years, we plan to have our two-story home painted with Tex-Cote; can’t imagine any other company doing the work other than AVW. We were looking for energy efficient, replacement windows to match the décor of our 1885 historic house. We researched several local companies and asked three to come give us estimates and show us their wares. American Vision Windows was by far the most thorough and professional. Diego brought samples, explained the options, installation process, costs & warranties, and answered all our questions. After the demonstration, we indicated we were still researching other companies, and there was no ‘high pressure’ sales pitch. When we invited Diego back with our final decision , we ordered 8 double hung Provia windows with external grids and a ‘matching’ double French door. Exact measurements were taken to be sure each window was made to perfectly fit the space where it would be installed. The installers arrived on time on the specified day, worked quickly & efficiently, and cleaned up & hauled away the old units and trash. The new door has all the hardware and features we had asked for. The windows look great, work smoothly, and, as 2nd story windows, can open inward for easy cleaning both inside and out. We are already experiencing the ‘energy efficiency’ aspect of the windows, and best of all, they match the other widows in the house perfectly! And, since our house is large and has enough windows and doors to keep them busy for months to come, we will definitely be working with American Vision Windows in the future. Well Folks, American Vision Windows are Top Cabin and a noteworthy contractor. They completed my Cool Wall Tex-Cote home project On Time and With-in the Budget! The Story... It all began with a conversation I had with Jordan Farar, a sales representative with American Vision Windows, about a project I had to re-coat my home (Not Just Another Paint Job, by the way!) He mentioned that they had a product that I was looking for and was very similar to a product I had used 40 years prior in Cardiff By The Sea on the Coast. Being a retired California A, B, C-10 contractor, I dug into the specs and facts of the Cool Wall Tex-Cote with Jordan and he was very knowledgable and helpful. Because Jordan was helpful and represented the product I was looking for, we set up the appointment with his mother, Bettye Farar to come to my home and continue the conversation. Bettye goes back a few decades in Textured Coatings and knew well the product I used 40 years back and we dug into all the improvement made in the textured coating industry over those many years. After much product discussion, choosing colors, and settling in on a project cost estimate, my wife Debbie and I agreed to move forward and have American Vision Windows contract to undertake our home project. With much ado with bad weather/rain etc. we completed the project in a timely manner. The crew sent to my home consisted of two very qualified painters Willie and Enrique. The process was started and completed by them, with a complete power wash, crack and surface prep, new stucco over wood siding at the front of our 3 car garage to improve and update the look of our 43 year home, protect all plants and other structure etc... The challenge was rain and more rain but they persevered and completed the job without complaint. They were amazing, the work was outstanding and could not have been done better at any cost. I highly recommend these two men, Willie and Enrique and their very professional and skilled work ethic for your coating project. They exceeded my every expectations and I and my wife Debbie are very pleased in every way with their performance. We just had our windows installed by Pasqual, Enrique, Louis, Miguel, Isadoro, Chuy, Jonathan, Gio, and Mike....what hard workers. They did an amazing job and such pleasant men to work with. To top it off, I think we are going to love our Anlin windows.

Just had our second installation of windows with this company, from the onset with Diego (sales consultant), who is very detail orientated, to the installation with Manuel and his crew Joseph and Vince, super job, very efficient, and all went very smoothly , once again a good experience.

I had my bathroom shower by them , They was more then any other contractor I called but the salesman of course sold meShower heads busted one after the other damaged floor and ceiling50% higher then anyone else

It started as a rainy day by 9:30 the rain had stopped they sent four crews out to install all the windows 19 windows done in approximately three and a half for hours excellent job everything done perfectly thank you.

Allen and his partner did a great job on the install. Professional, courteous, and clean.
