Thanks to Diego, Dr. Song and everyone here! Front desk guy with hair in a bun was awesome too (sorry forgot your name!) Staff was caring and helpful during an eye and contact lens exam. Eager to answer every question I had! Helped me take out my contact lenses when I had trouble getting them out. Great place, friendly people.

After getting an eye exam witch was fast and and good result, at a reasonable price, my wife and i where asked to take a seat with one of the sales person who from the beginning tried to up-sales us with out listening to what we wanted and instead of giving us an option to build our lenses went to the highest possible set of lenses and as soon i asked him to give me the the cheapest set price and i my wife and i talked about it for literally 30 sec and i ask him to give me a some time to talk with my wife for a lil bit longer the sales person dismissed us and say by, with out even a thank you. After this incident i will never consider or recommend lenscrafters and if i can i will stop by at the store and update my comment with the sales person name, I under stand that time means money but this person really means it.

I was having a bad day. My lens popped out as I was headed to work & I cant see without my glasses! Stopped by this location for lunch and I was in and out in 5 min. They repaired my glasses for free. Very quick and kind service.

I went into the store at the San Diego Mission Valley mall hoping to get an adjustment. But I got more than what I bargained for. One of the representatives, Diego didn’t think my frame was repairable and suggested that I get a new frame. What he didn’t know was I bought my glasses and frames from LensCrafters last year. He told me this would be a piece of cake then especially since I also had insurance on the frames and lenses. He looked at my account and profile in the computer and this was a very simple process.Diego along with assistant manager Fadi Hanna, helped me. Fadi told Diego, ‘you got this.’ Diego Took care of me and my new frame and lenses should be arriving within the next week and a half. If I could say anything to anyone, it would be make sure you get insurance on your glasses when you order them. Way to go Diego and Fadi!!Thank you LensCrafters!

Extremely underwhelmed . Arrived at 230pm . I already had my Tom Ford frames . All I asked was to have 2.0 reader glasses ( which they already had stacks of readers available over the counter ) . Was told I needed a prescription to convert my own frames to readers . I agree to get an exam . And then...The next available exam appointment wasnt available until 3:40 pm . I was still on board . Now remember this is LensCrafters where glasses are available in about an hour . Was then told that the store closed at 5:00 P.M., but the lab in the back that makes the eyeglasses in about an hour closed at 4:00 p.m....AN HOUR BEFORE THE STORE CLOSES . As individual complaints none are a big deal ..... But.....COME ONRetort:Why dont you reach out to me to correct this issue ?

Needed emergency nearsighted glasses while out of town, and the lens crafters here was able to use my prescription and make the glasses for me in an hour! I have searched through other glasses store in this area and no store was able to make it so fast! Really appreciate the quick service and because of this, I was able to drive safely in San Diego and really enjoyed what the city has to offer !

I came here originally because my lenses werent available at the El Cajon location. I was met with great enthusiasm and professionalism. I have used Lens Crafter for many years for eye Exam, frames and lenses. I am beyond satisfied with the service and prices.

Dr. Suljuki was amazing ... very patient and careful to explain to me what the exam revealed. I was really (very pleasantly) surprised to learn that there was a lab on-site, so I could return in only two hours to get my new glasses. Amazing! They can certainly count on me as a return customer ... oh, and my wife & daughter will be going in the next coupla weeks. Gonna tell everybody I know ... really awesome experience!!

Fadi Hanna was amazing! First off I came to the doors at 6:10 PM I did not realize that the store closed at six. Fairy came to the door and helped me straighten my glasses that I accidentally sat on to perfection. He was so Diligent on ensuring my progressive lenses was at the correct length to where I can read menus and at the top see for a distance.I’m a Director in Hospitality and I know how hard it is to find good quality employees that care about our guests but you have found a Diamond in the rough.Thank you!

Store was well staffed. Noticed all of the glass frames were clearly set up so that it was very easy to find the ones you liked. The sales lady was well versed on entering information into the computer and doing measurements that were needed. I was very impressed with her service and would come back again.

Walked into the LensCrafters in Mission Valley last week as one lens from my glasses had popped-out and the frames were bent out of shape. Almost immediately someone greeted me as walked thru the store door and helped me with my glasses. In minutes my frames were adjusted and the lens was back in place. There was no charge for repairing my glasses.

This is the lens crafters I prefer to go to, the staff is so friendly and nice, and they really know how to help.

I have been going to Lens Crafters for years and only go to one person, Afshin Azarkian. He exceptionally delivers a more personalized approach to customer service, very professional and very helpful, making sure you get the right eyeglasses fit for your needs. I’m happy and confident I don’t have to explain details every time. He makes sure you get the best of what you need and gets it done. Huge shout out to Marina for her welcoming demeanor and her excellent customer service! I was in a bind as I have an impending eye surgery (tomorrow!) and needed new lens for my frames asap. She took her time with me, graciously listened to my woes while educating me on my vision and pricing options. As a customer I felt seen (pun intended!) and my expectations were not only met but exceeded. An hour later I was back in the car with the proper prescription in my glasses and on to the rest of my day. My sincere thanks to Marina and the rest of her dream team.

Came in here with my insurance being out of network, which I did not know! They were super welcoming and friendly. The optometrist was so sweet and recommended the right contact lenses for me. Marina was able to find me some designer glasses (Versace) for a discount! She went out of her way to get me the eye glasses I really wanted for an affordable price! I am so grateful for this because right now I’m on a low budget! Thank you for providing top notch customer service! Went in this morning for an exam and new glasses. From the time I walked in, everyone I dealt with was Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Upon returning to pick up my glasses and though the staff was helping other customers, I was still greeted by name. Before leaving, I was told I was appreciated. Unfortunately, these days you dont receive that level of customer service in many places. Thank you again!

I cannot describe how fantastic Marina was!! Working in customer service is a challenge normally and despite the challenges COVID poses she was efficient, friendly and courteous. I spent probably ten minutes total in there. Went holiday shopping, came back an hour later and my glasses were ready! Time after time LensCrafters provides excellent service, thanks to employees like her.

I bought glasses there last week and was led to believe that the lenses were going to be the same kind of lenses as my current lenses (1.67).The lenses I received were so thick they were like coke bottles. I was not told this at the time, but the type of lenses in my old glasses were not available. They gave me 1.60 which were twice as thick and distorted my vision. It was a huge waste of my time and $. I ended up returning them. They should have specified that my old lenses were not available. They really need to train their employees better.

I put pair sunglasses on hold for my Saturday appointment. Since vsp was down on Sunday I was there last. No one communicated there 3 day hold now there gone! So mad I didnt get a picture didnt think Id have to!

BRANDON URIBE was a wonderful representative of lenscrafters. He was knowledgeable of the product helpful,patient and he had a pleasant sense of humor. I came looking on buying one pair of glasses and I bought 2 cuddles to Brandon and the Manger team.A week later I had the great experience with the manager Gladys. She searched the store and another store to try and find a smaller size frame with similar features as mine. She went above and beyond in her effort to fulfill my frame needs. She to is a great representative of lens crafters mission Valley.

I purchased a pair of glasses before the pandemic started. The nose Bridge started to fail but the store was understandably closed. When the store reopened I returned with warranty in hand. They reluctantly would replace the frames with the same kind. I tried to tell them that the frames were designed incorrectly. They would not change the frame style. I then had to go to Chula Vista to get the replacement. Soon afterwards the nose Bridge started to fail.. Warranty or not this customer is not satisfied. I have been a long time customer. I will have to rethink my brand loyalty and the value of their warranty.

I have taken my Oakley glasses to three other places to get them straightened out after I sat on them. Even the place I bought them didn’t get them straightened out. I took it to LensCrafters on Camino Dell Rio north in San Diego and met with Marina Ramirez the assistant store manager. She took them back to the lab and had them as perfect as the day I bought them in five minutes. I will buy my next set of glasses from LensCrafters even though it will have to be one in Texas because I’m on vacation. Thanks Marina!

I purchased expensive frames and have been waiting for my new prescription for a month. They said a week or so. I then called the store just to get a message that said they were closed and the store was boarded up. So I called the store in Fashion Valley and all they knew is the store is closed and nobody is calling them back either. I called corporate and they could not help me. So I paid for my glasses, which I need for work, and I have nothing to show for it except aggravation. I guess my only option is small claims court. They dont even deserve one star

Five Stars All Around. Dr. Suljuki has been my eye doctor since moving to San Diego two years ago, and she has been one of the best doctors of any kind Ive ever had. A year ago she helped me make the decision to get lasik and has been with me every step of the way since. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, caring and understanding and explains everything thoroughly, never making you feel pressured and always taking the time to answer any questions. The staff in general here at this office are all very friendly and helpful in my experience. I highly recommend Dr. Suljuki to anyone in San Diego in need of an eye doctor.

I have been using LensCrafters for last 15 years and tried several locations in San Diego area. The mission valley store is the best. Afshin is nice and extremely knowledgeable. I just got another new pair of glasses from him today and the process was very pleasant.

Had to go here three times for my clumsy husband who keeps breaking his glasses. The staff is very nice and understanding and takes care of us right away.

The lady at the front was extremely rude. She kept cursing into her phone and rushing me the whole time. Dont work in customer service if you cant be kind or at least pretend to be. Unpleasant experience overall I would never return to this place.

Service was good in the beginning when I initially walked in. The doctor who examined my eyes was also good. The service changed during the end of my visit when I asked the floor rep how much on frames will be covered by my insurance because I pay a high premium on vision care, I wanted to confirm the dollar limit. He was talking all over the place about the benefits of the blue light, warranty fee and every other perks total out the door for me would be $400. He then did something on the computer and said everything would actually cost me $140 out the door. He changed his demeanor when I told him I don’t need anything fancy and just wanted regular prescription glasses and to pay nothing out the door (I don’t pay a copay). He wasn’t as nice after I asked him about the fees on my bill, in fact I sensed his demeanor becoming more defensive. He was trying to nickel and dime me and talked to me like I didn’t have a clue and kept calling me ‘my dear’ instead of my actual name. I ended up paying $40 out the door for ‘contacts fitting’ which is a fancy charge of the doctor shining a light in your eyes for a few seconds after you put on your contacts to make sure they fit. I’ve worn contacts for many years, I didn’t need the doctor to help me with ‘contacts fitting.’ Not coming back, LensCrafters!

Ill spare the gruesome details of dealing with this place, but heres some highlights. The manager Muriel may be the worst retail manger Ive ever experienced. No joke, admitted to using incorrect screws on my wifes glasses and the result was a broken hinge. Her solution was to use incorrect screws again or make me pay 90 dollars to replace the frame that she admitted breaking. Ok. After numerous emails and phone calls to corporate, we are now suing them in small claims court. LensCrafters is owner by Luxottica. Luxottica also owns RayBans, the maker of the now ruined frames. Can you imagine what it costs LensCrafters to replace a frame? So instead of helping us with their screw-up, theyve lost a customer for life, gained a lifetime of constant negative feedback and will now need to send a representative to court. And for what? Thumbs down LensCrafters.

For the past couple of years I’ve purchased glasses online as my high index lenses come at a premium in store at most places, but somehow that wasn’t the case LensCrafters.After insurance, discounts, in-store promos my 1.74 high index lenses weren’t too bad and I found some frames that I’ve been unable to find elsewhere.My shopping experience was easy, Remi welcomed me took a couple of details to verify insurance and I started shopping.Once I came down to two top picks Remi had me try them on and then determined which ones fit best - we confirmed lens selection - and made the purchase.I really liked my experience at LensCrafters they had a wide selection of glasses, offered a higher index lens than most online retailers, and provided great service when it came to determining fit.Looking forward to my glasses next week!

The attached optometry clinic was quick and thorough. The sales side was helpful and courteous. The contact prices also seemed fair even beating 1-800 by a fair bit for my specific brand.

Muriel, the manager, is basically an extortionist. Refused to honor RayBans warranty after she admitted to breaking my frames. Demanded that I either accept her use of incorrect hinge screws again or pay nearly 100 dollars to replace the frames she broke. She sells RayBans and knows the warranty they offer. Yet instead of honoring the warranty, she demanded money. I went to a different LensCrafters in Clairemont and guess what? They swapped out the broken frames in less than 5 minutes. No questions asked. They honored RayBans warranty and didn’t demand money. I will be reporting Muriel and LensCrafters to the BBB. I don’t appreciate being extorted.

Find another place to get your glasses. The sales floor people are incompetent. The manager is rude. The eye doctors are great, however there are many eye doctors who are great in other places. The frames and all the extra stuff they add on to the price is extreme. Again, too many inconsistent answers to questions. They just cant get their information straight. BE AWARE EXPECT to SPEND more than you planned there.

It seems like only a few people who knows what they’re doing over there. I chose to go to LensCrafters for its convenience due to my work schedule and thought it would be a breeze to get contacts done. The doctor I saw was very knowledgeable I was in and out quick. However l, when I called back to get my contacts finalized I was told none of the doctors were available and to call back. Which was fine, whatever, so I called back the next day, same thing doctors are busy. I asked if they can forward my message to the doctor and if they can let me know. No one ever calls back, every time I call I get the same question, are you new patient, have you been seen, how long ago was it. It gets frustrating when you answer it five times. I finally get the right person, Jin(I believe that’s his name) who actually knows what he’s doing and just in five minutes I was able to get my answer. I’d recommend to smaller, independent optometry.

Ive been coming to this location for 3 or 4 years for my glasses. They are quicker than a traditional office and have a good selection. This year Ive had nothing but trouble. The first time I went in for an eye exam the appointment the Optometrist got angry at me for taking to long reading the lines, as a result my prescription was wrong. I went back in and at least the second Doctor was nice and let me take my time. I was told I could have the prescription replaced at not cost, but I was never told this no cost piece only applies within 30 days of receiving the original pair. It was never noted that my prescription was wrong the first time so when I go back to have the prescription replaced I was asked to repay for everything. I had already used my benefits so the $150 I spent on the anti-glare and blue light filter went to waste because their agents cant be bothered to actually explain their rules. Im very disappointed, this was such a good office.So in closing IF THEY SCREW UP YOU HAVE 30 DAYS TO GO BACK AND NOT PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. THIRTY DAYS.
