Love this store (Womens new and previously owned)... I talked with a few customers that told me they love this store.. Kim was great!

The selection and variety at Fashion Exchange is great!Their prices are very reasonable, and they have specials on prices often.The people who work there are really friendly.I would highly recommend this store!

Worst experience ever! The owner Kim is a liar and a thief. It was my first time selling anything on consignment. She took 17 pieces of my mom’s clothes and told me she would email me that day with the itemized list and prices of the clothes because she was very busy at the moment and I trusted her to do so. I never received an email from her so I called a few weeks later and she said she hasn’t had a chance to price them yet. Then I called 2 more times and she flat out lied and said she was pricing them as we speak and is going to get them out on the floor that day. 3 months go by and nothing! I went in to talk to her and her and her friend searched for my clothes and couldn’t find them. She assured me she would find them. Then I called again and she got me mixed up with another woman whose clothes she couldn’t find either. I told her I just want her to pay be an amount we agree on because I’m not interested in waiting any longer and wasting more of my time on this. When I went into the store she lowballed me so badly on the clothes which half of them were new with tags on them! She claimed that her plus size section doesn’t sell for as much but yet 95% of the clothes she had out in that section was priced 3 to 4 times higher then what she gave me. She started calling me names , told me to go to hell , threatened to call the police and was so mad all because I expected her to pay me a fair amount for the clothes that SHE LOST IN THE FIRST PLACE! She was so unprofessional and rude. I think she sold my clothes right away and was hoping I would give up and go away after all that time. This lady is super shady! Be aware people! She probably does this often and I don’t know how she’s still in business! Shame on you Kim!

My sister went in recently and had an amazing experience. Two great ladies working helped us. We had an absolute B L A S T. They suggested items for us, encouraged we try in tons of fun things, gave us lovely customer service. So much fun. Prices were definitely fair. We will be back!!

Wasteland on Fashion Exchange LLC has been my shopping haunt since I was a teenager, and funny thing is to see your 90s clothes suddenly becoming a HUGE fashion trend now today. Honestly. I shouldve kept all my Doc Martens in a freezer bag, and then resold them here for a ton of money.

Kim the owner was amazing!! Her customer service was top notch... Lovely gem here in San Diego.You will find a lot of treasures at a excellent price❤️

Ive sold my clothes at Fashion Exchange for the past three or so years. Kim knows what sells in her store and will only take what she thinks will move. I rarely have many items to pick up at the end of my consignment, and shes donated what didnt sell to charity if I asked. It is best to go into any selling situation detached from your items and not take it personally if things arent bought. It is better to have things passed over than to have to go back in three months to pick them back up. If your items are clean, on hangers and in good condition, the buying process will go much more smoothly. I enjoy looking through the racks as well as there is always a nice variety.

I found so many treasures here! Great brands for a good price! It was my second time coming to this store and each time I have found some awesome wardrobe pieces! Definitely recommend for the fashion forward frugalista!!

Kim Romano is a rip off im sure shes took advantage of a lot of people who have thought they could trust her in the beginning thats how she comes out but when its time to pay that lady is hiding and leaves her workers to take care of her dirty task she cant come face to face with the costumer

This is an excellent consignment store. The owner is doing what she loves and she is very good at it. Its a good shopping experience.

I was looking around with my friend at dresses we wanted to try on and were interested in purchasing. When suddenly a lady, we assume is the owner mentioned in previous ratings came up to us and asked us to give her our bags. My friend and I felt very offended and never experienced this type of customer service previously, we decided to just leave then and there. She lost potential sales and customer due to her prejudice, judgmental, ignorant attitude and behavior. Looking through previous ratings, I realized we are not the only ones who experienced the wrath of this insane woman. Do not give her your precious money or time.

The owner looked downed at us after we explained that we had visited a place prior. Then stating oh, so I get the hand-me downs ? ..... What else would it be ? After looking through 1 out or 2 bags, she rudely stated Ill pass on all of .... This . I have never had worse service. She belittled my granddaughter and I as if we were animals.

This lady is the most trashy thing Ive ever come across shes sleeping with my boyfriend shes dang near 80 years old and is with my ex boyfriend I did bussiness with her me and my now ex boyfriend next thing I know shes sleeping with him whoever left a review of her being trashy hit the nail rite on the head ladies do not take ur boyfriend in that store shes old canivinni greedy lady she targets younger men she will play to be your friend but shes far from that shes so old with no morals self respect knows nothing about integrity as she claims the purses she sells r all stolen im talking bout Kim romano

AVOID THIS STORE!!! A friend and I decided to go thrifting as a fun activity for a rainy day. We went to the Goodwill Plaza (great customer service) and had a wonderful time. As we were existing, we saw this shop and decided to check it out. My friend and I are both young college students who love a great deal. We shopped around and picked a couple of iteams we liked. As we were about to ask for a fitting room a lady approached us. Im assuming it was the owner. She told both of us that we were not allowed to shop with our bags from Goodwill because it was against store policy. She then explained she was not targeting us but that it was HER policy. My friend and I felt uncomfortable and decided to leave. I have never experienced such disgusting behavior from an owner. I have shopped at countless other stores and have never been told to give up my personal belongings because of a policy. I know that thier is a lot of stigma against young people, but I have a job and was able to afford the iteams in the shop. I could of gone to Nordstrum or Blomingdales and bought designer goods while reciving great customer service. This shop was a waste of my time and ruined a fun day with my friend. I hope no one experiences what I went through by avoiding this place and spending your money on something actually woth it. I will never return to this shop or recommend it to family or friends. PLEASE AVOID!!

I went in there with clothes to sell because it says right on the front window in big lettering taking consignments anytime. Well they dont and need to take that sign down because its false advertising. I walked up with my box and the lady looked at me and said whats that? Like really, are you stupid? I brought a box of recycling to you, what do you think dumbass. Then after watching me bring it in and asking the dumb question she then tells me they take clothes on certain days only. Then why does your window display say differently? When I explained it was my only day to bring it in and it was just bad timing for myself and was leaving she made a snotty comment the owner isnt here so you just have to come back. I grasped that, thank you for your rude service. The reviews I read before I went there are right, I had hoped for a better experience but clearly this place sucks all around.

The owner of this shop is horrible!! I stopped by this morning and witnessed her harrass a customer because she brought in a backback into her shop. The customer was African American and was forced to leave her backback/purse behind the counter. The owner kept looking at the customer even while I was at the front trying to pay. I felt soo sick to witness this type of behavior. This lady was so pushy trying to get me to buy an overpriced MK handbag. Please dont buy from this shop and support ACT2 they treat their customers with respect.

This women is a phyco,she has cornered me right outside her shop and said i quote do u go to aaa,seriously i didnt even know what she was talking about,then on a couple of occasions she has accused me of wanting to and stealing.i was at the counter ready to buy something and she acted like i was not there so i left and she had some girl who looked like she was on serious drugs follow me and say rude accusations on the street.BUT GET THIS WHEN SHE FIRST OPENED HER SHOP SHE PAID ME 75$ FOR MY BEAUTIFUL ITEMS,she sure was nice that day.....crazy lady im not the one your husband left you for

I went there to sell some clothes and very very gently worn expensive shoes for consignment, one of which still had the stickers on the bottom. I put my items on the counter and the owner said no, Im not going to take any of these. She barely even took a moment to look at the stuff I put in front of her. I asked if there was any particular reason she would not take them, and she said I dont have to give you a reason. She also said we cant sell shoes that have dirty bottoms. So she basically told me she will only take brand new shoes that have never been worn, because those are the only shoes that will not have any trace of dirt on the bottom. She was very rude to me, as well as the woman who was in line in front of me trying to sell some items. The owner was extremely rude and I will never be returning to this place to give her my business.

WARNING !!!! Do NOT bring your clothes or items here for consignment!!!End of story!!!! BAD BUSINESS!!!

This ladys selling stolen purses if any of her handbags are new she bought it stolen and the guy who steals them is the guy shes with shes on pills and acts like a miserable drug addict
