BE CAREFUL BE VERY CAREFULLast week we finally were able to get the last outstanding repair to our complete kitchen remodel and it only took 6 months.The ProSource designer recommended a cabinet line that was below the quality level we asked for and lied telling us the line the recommended was the same quality as a previously live we used in our bathroom remodels.The cabinets came in flawed and over 80% of the cabinet parts were reorder on three separate occasions. The end result was that the manufacturer agreed to have a refinishing company come in and take care of the problem.The issue was the ProSource interfered and attempted to lead the warranty negotiations instead of allowing the manufacturer to deal with it. The ProSource General Manager also tried to get us to sign a waiver to give up our warranty rights in exchange for a cash settlement.In the end based on information I received from the Manufacturer corporate office and the CA Consumer Affairs Department, ProSource exceeded their legal responsibilities.In the end, I dealt with the manufacturer directly and the problem was finally resolved and it only took four extra monthsThe bottom line in all of this, is that you cannot trust anyone. You need to research and learn all aspects of any remodeling project and make your decisions based on all of the information you gather and not on a so-called expert who’s only goal is to get a sale. Would I use ProSource again, probably not, and if I did, I would ensure I knew everything up front and ensure everyone involved new their responsibilities and it would be in writing. Always read the small print, because like ProSource their first priority is themselves, then their suppliers, and then the customer.

Were undergoing a full home remodel and ProSource was a phenomenal resource. Their showroom includes: hardwood flooring, tile, carpet, kitchen cabinetry (Which is impossible to find elsewhere), bathroom hardware (shower systems), kitchen hardware (faucets, sinks) and more. We worked with Sarah. Shes awesome. Super friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend.

My experience with ProSource couldnt have been better. I was remodeling a rental unit. The first person I worked with was Sarah...she was terrific. Had a wonderful eye and we were quickly able to narrow a good selection down to just a few choices . Unfortunately, she had a family emergency and had to leave town. Next I spoke to Kathy who, although she had an appointment at a scheduled time she was more than happy to help until then. Once her appointment was there she passed me on to Leslie. Leslie, like Sarah, was just a wonderful person to work with, she also had a good eye and I was able to finalize my decisions quickly. If I called to get some information and Leslie wasnt there whoever picked up the phone was more than willing to help. When Sarah got back she quickly finished ordering the last couple of items. My contractor was having difficulty finding a shower pan to fit the space we had without us having to wait 4-6 weeks. I called Sarah. Within a few minutes she found one that worked and it would arrive in 5-7 business days. Problem solved. The whole shower pan problem was solved in less than an hour.I really cant say enough good things about my experience with ProSource. Not only would I go back there, I would highly recommend them to my friends and contractors.Keep up the good work!

The San Diego ProSource location (theres one in Vista) offers a complete one stop shop experience. Theres a wide selection of carpeting from several manufacturers, so many coordinating tile offerings for floors, walls, showers, kitchen and trimmings. You can visit their well lit show room also highlighting all your plumbing and cabinetry needs. Its really the Nordstrom experience for your home with many designers ready to assist you. The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating is because my design assistant ordered the wrong tile for my bathroom; she did work with me to fix the unfortunate situation to my needs when I ordered carpeting for my bedroom. Im pleased with the final results and would recommend using ProSource. Caution: they dont install anything but do have a long listing of people and businesses they work with all over San Diego County.
