We’ve been here a handful of times and are blown away by the food! The burger has got to be the best in SD - it’s the best I’ve ever had. Seriously good.

The 3 stars is for their service. I placed an online order and the email said 20 minutes. It took 35 minutes to get my sandwich. They need to have a system in place to pickup online (paid in advance) orders without having to wait in line with customers purchasing on premise. They were nice about it and apologized for the wait. I hope they can streamline this issue.

Two prong review:1. Sandwich Shop2. Butcher Shop1. I usually take photos for my reviews. I always forget for this place because we CRUSH their sandwiches 🥪 too fast. We probably get their food once every two weeks or so. Always order online via Toast and walk to grab about 20 min later. Never an issue so those complaining about wait just need to understand that ordering for lunch may take a bit longer. But between ordering, walking to pickup, it’s never been longer than 25 min.Now, every sando we’ve had has been amazing. Best in NP if not SD. Sometimes they sneak in things like pork Philly cheesesteak (a winning take on the OG), or a Texas BBQ plate (on the weekends), but they’ve all been great. My favorite is the turkey avo “club”. Slightly 🌶, super fresh and crisp, and deli meat is house made. My wife’s favorite is the classic philly 🧀 🥩. The meat is just enough fatty and crispy, and the wit whiz is a delicious cheese sauce (and it’s supposed to get soggy!)2. The butcher shop is our go to for prime cuts, French dip, and tasty sausages. All the cuts, pork or beef, have been very good (assuming the cook is good 😂) but my favorite from the butcher shop is the Texas Hot Links. Not much great in Texas these days, but I can’t deny that I miss the BBQ and hot links. These are as close as they come and are really really good. They also have some premarinated chicken that is good, and a variety of dips and condiments that are great quality. Haven’t had the pleasure of trying any dry aged items - too concerned I’ll “butcher” the cooking - but I can’t imagine, considering the rest, they aren’t prime deliciousness.It’s a local shop owned by a local group with high quality, premium goods. Expect to pay decent prices for the butcher shop goods (ie the meat). The sandwiches, however, are very very reasonably priced considering taste, quantity, and quality. And lastly, S/O to everyone grinding there daily. Never had a bad customer service experience, everyone has always been great! See you soon!

I ordered online, got there 30 minutes later at the designated time only to be told to wait a minute by the cashier and so I stood there waiting with others. Everybody else waiting got their stuff - 5, 10, 15 minutes go by. Other people ordered, waited and then got their stuff. Finally I got the attention of somebody else (which by the way is near impossible considering the size of this place) besides the cashier only to find out that my food has been sitting there. A terrible first experience - now I’m sitting here writing this review with my food soggy and cold. Fries definitely overpriced and this Philly cheesesteak - meh. #JustGotGhostedIRL

Outstanding high quality meats along with delicious sandwiches made from those same high quality ingredients. Their fries are some of the best in town (one order feeds two)! House made sides and pickles are also for sale along with a fantastic selection of wines. I like buying wine from them their options are all good so shopping is less dizzying compared to a liquor store etc.

This is my favorite place for a delicious lunch.All of their food is simply amazing.

Roast beef on Rye with Horseradish Cream. The meat was sliced nice and thin, and the bread is on point. I love Horseradish, but would get it light next time.The Philly Roll had the iconic bread, and the meat was phenominal.I’m looking forward to trying all their sandwiches and even their daily meal kits (all reasonably priced for takeout and the quality).They have a provisions section, Turkey deli, and of course, dry aged goodness!

If your looking for a quality butcher shop this is it. Their quality matches their prices and I am very pleased with there selection. They also offer amazing sandwiches for next to nothing.

This place has the best sandwiches and burgers!!! Ive tried their Philly Cheese steak, Roast Beef sandwich, and Dry Aged Burger and all were phenomenal. Also tried their potato salad which is amazing 🔥🔥🔥

Great T-Bone gents and ladies. Salt and pepper over olive for two hour, 8 minutes a side and 20 minutes to rest... Im so happy. Ill be back.

We showed up right at closing and the staff was so generous while serving us. Great cheese steak sandwich and the roast beef sandwich was excellent!

My 1st time there, but the philly cheese steak is soooo good!! The whole place smells delicious!!

Nice modern look but unfortunately the prices match the store front lol small and expensive hopefully it was just a bad experience. Otherwise its just an over priced butcher that sells food and cooking supplies.

I really want to love this place very vey much, but its becoming very difficult. Im a huge supporter of local spots. Ive tried their take out food 3 times so far. I never judge off first couple impressions. I want to give the business the best opportunity possible. I went 0/3 here. Ive had 3 burgers from 3 completely different months. ALL of them good well done/char hockey puck, with bacon char well done. Im VERY VERY confused as this is a high end butchery that specializes in very nice meats....Why TORCH your wonderful meat on your burger?...Im never asked how I want my burger. I would assume a place like this would know how to properly cook a burger.Lastly, the raw meat is EXCELLENT quality, but VERY over priced. Would love to see this place be a go-to

Tiny shop but big on awesome meats and treats. Cheesesteak was amazing! Some other recommendations would be the mortadella, smoked bologna, potato salad, house made pickles, lamb and pork chili, and various bone broths.

The dry aged burger and beef fat fries are fantastic. The Mr. Trustee ice cream they carry was also phenomenal.

Brought my wife, and 2 kids. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed there meals. Will be going back.
