I brought my aging Honda in for a second opinion on suspension work. The guy at Suspension Plus diagnosed the problem swiftly and at no cost. Honda, on the other hand, took a full day, as well as $170 diagnostic charge, to give me a quote almost double the cost and involving several additional components. When I asked José to go ahead and perform the work, I was shocked to hear him say it would be done before the end of the business day. They were so confident in their diagnosis, that I trusted them and even drove my car to Riverside the very next day. It drove like a charm and is still handling beautifully almost a month, and several long distance drives, later. I am so jazzed to have found this place, and will not hesitate to come to them first the next time I have car problems. Fair, affordable, knowledgeable, and timely.

Called to see if I can walk in for a custom alignment on my 97 Miata and they were kind enough to accommodate not only me walking in, but also my custom alignment numbers suitable for track/autox at a reasonable price. I walked In without an appointment, having had two tire replacements from across the street the day before. I had immediate help, asking lots of questions in regard to my Jeep Cherokee. They were very polite, professional, and thorough.I was told it would be a short wait, as they were working on another vehicle. It was a short wait as promised, after which they described what that found, what they did, then gave me a written description of their work. I will be back, and will refer their service to friends.

I have used Suspension Plus in the past and was over charged. I decided to go back recently to have my pickup inspected. I was hit with a very unreasonable bill to replace some front end components. I even requested to supply some of my own parts and they refused. So I took my pickup elsewhere and received a quote comparable to what I was quoted at Suspension Plus but this time it was for an entire front end rebuild including a steering pump. I was also able to provide my own parts and was able to lower the bill much more! Suspension Plus was about to overcharge me heavily for parts and labor and didnt even offer a free alignment or anything along those lines. I even suggested to Taylor that I was going to get quotes from other shops and he arrogantly told me how other shops would charge similarly!. Im here to say that you sir Taylor were wrong and I received much better service elsewhere. Before deciding on suspension plus go to other local shops and get pricing from them first!

I made my car’s allignment there and yesterday i called them to check my alligment because i have warranty. He told me they’re busy and come tomorrow. I asked if they need appointment and he said no. I went there today and he told me they’re busy. I came back 2 hours later and he told me again they’re busy. I couldn’t believe what was going on. I told him that i called yesterday and they didn’t need appointment. He argued with me and told me he won’t touch my car. So basically he doesn’t follow the warranty and doesn’t give me the service. They’re free to refuse but this is very unprofessional and unsatisfying. And the way he talks and behave doesn’t look good for this kind of place. At the end i wanted to talk to the boss but of course he didn’t give me the number and did mean to kick me out from the store. Never go there. I had bad experiences from some places but this is extremely horrible. It can happen to you as well, if you don’t go on his way or if he doesn’t like you.

I took my 2015 Toyota 4Runner in to have the leaking XREAS suspension replaced with conventional shocks and struts. I was assured that they had experience doing the job, and could do it in about 4 hours at a cost considerably less than other estimates I had received. I found both claims to be true, and am very pleased with the results. I would recommend Suspension Plus to others with similar problems.

Suspension Plus always seem to get it right! I needed to get MY GTO upgraded with Drag Bags and complete brake upgrade, rotors and pads. They not only did an awesome job but friendly and great customer service by the boss and the manager there! That was 4years ago. I still havent had not one issue with these rotors and pads!I came back to them recently for some major brake work again for my wifes Van and once again they took great care of my wife and me and installed the slotted and drilled brakes and rotors on our Van! Went in for a recommendation of suspension work after reading their reviews.Service manager Jose V. gave his recommendations and we then agreed on a price. The work was solid and they even replaced a defective shock absorber that was under warranty. Yes 👍 I do recommend.

Years ago I went in and Brad the owner serviced my Yukon. Is been a good truck and fortunately, not needed much work, but when I knew the front brakes were getting shaky and heard an ominous clunk when backing up with the wheels cut ( tie rod ends) I remembered the good experience at this place and met Taylor, Brads son, who gave me a quick test drive, inspection, analysis and a fair price for work done the same morning.2 year guarantee and nice people to deal with in a clean, apparently well run facility. Best A rating. Would return and recommend.

I was visiting from out of town and needed a serpentine belt replaced. I called them and they got me in same day (Saturday too!). It took about 2 hours. They are knowledgeable and didn’t try to sell me additional work. They even checked out a light on my dash and let me know what I should do to fix it. I would definitely recommend them!

This is the only place I go to have my car aligned. I found out I needed a new rack and pinion and they did it in a very timely manner. They even offered to give me a ride home so I wouldnt have to wait there.

I have been taking my car to suspension plus for years now. They are the best not only are the prices fair, which is a rarity in itself now a days. But they are top notch mechanics. Not only in suspension but as the sign says in front plus everything else that can be wrong with your car. These guys are a blessing and have always been there for all my vehicles.

Suspension Plus is always my go to for car repairs. I have 2 cars that are a little older and Taylor or Brad keep them running at top shape. I have never had any problems setting appointments and servicing my cars for honest estimates at good prices and excellent repair work.

Beware of this auto rip off repair shop. I went in for an alignment and decided to have them adjust the headlights. I was called and told the car pulled because the brakes need work along with front end. They said parts needs delayed the work. Three weeks later and 930.00 i pickup the car and as soon as i applied the brakes the call pulled right 10 times worse. When I returned the sons owner told me they test drove the car three times and it was fine. Why three times and the rubber gasket to my head lights was all bent out of shape. I lost all faith and trust in the shop after listening to his song and dance. I decided to take my car to my mechanic who has serviced 1973 fiat for over 15 years. he found the calipers where done wrong and was lucky to drive the 5 miles without brakes failing. He also told me the car still needed an alignment. So I took the car to Beeline in Pacific Beach and shore enough it was not right. it cost me and additional 200.00 to correct the work they never done or did wrong. Also the owner made promises to reimburse me for the brakes but never performed. Im disputing the charge since I believe all that was needed was an alignment they never did or done wrong. Incompetence at its best. I also contacted and complained to BAR which is investigating. I never write reviews unless I can put people in danger. Im lucky maybe someone else wont be. Stay away and be sure to read previous reviews who made claims similar to mine.

Clean shops, friendly service and up to date mechanics made my experience a definite Plus at Suspension Plus. My car was OVERHEATING and they found the RADIATOR had failed. After replacing the RECOMMENDED HIGH MILEAGE PARTS like the COOLANT PUMP, RADIATOR HOSES and THERMOSTAT, they gave me a courtesy inspection, FREE! Had it not been for the keen eyes of their master mechanic Cliff, I would have left there with bad FRONT BRAKES! YOU GUYS ROCK! For that I am now your customer for life!

Traveling cross country and needed rear shocks replaced. Everyone was polite, helpful, and professional. Id highly recommend.

Nice to work with but over priced. Almost double what they should have charged and what other places qouted but they were conveinently located.Not exactly sure they knew what they were doing when installing lowering springs and modifying bump stops. Main business is suspensions but may not be the best place to have custom mods done.

I recently bought a 99 Jeep Wrangler I knew might need some work so I called up Suspension Plus in Point Loma to get one of their free inspections. Mike the store manager was very helpful in walking me around the vehicle to show me exactly what was wrong. The right rear shock was blown and the rear differential was leaking a little. I went with 4 new KYB off-road shocks, a differential service, and a few other preventative maintenance items all for a great price. These guys know their cars!

Fast speedy service thanks for the total inspection of my car.

I went there today because I was having an abnormal noise coming from the front left side of my suspension turns out my caliper were loose. they tighten them down for me at no cost and the sound went away.

Lets start off with the fact that Taylor and Brad are Lifesavers. I brought my Honda Accord into Suspension Plus because my Brakes were making the loudest noise and every time I went to stop my car it wanted to pull left. After the Mechanics Inspected my Car they found that my Front Brake Caliper on the left side had seized up and the pad was almost gone. I blame myself for not bringing the car in sooner but sometimes you get too busy. Taylor gave me a great deal on a new set of Front Brake Rotors, New Brake Pads, Brake Calipers and a Fluid Exchange. Little Stella was so happy to get repaired in such a quick amount of time. I recommend all of my friends and family now to Suspension Plus, their honesty and integrity is second to none.

HorribleBrought car for a check and they changed the coolant.On my roadtrip one week later the radiator was leeking and then I realized, suspension plus did a sh.... work.They tightend the drain plug to tight. New radiator $500Everything I said they should check was done just 50%, bad, or worse than before.I wanted a stronger battery, but I just got a battery with the same capacity but a better brand.They forgot to refill the AC. When he called and I asked he said, he didnt know that he has to refill it.Suspension made noise after the repair!?And of course nobody did something or answered my mail.If you wanna have a worse car then before this is the right place, otherwise go to another shop.Because of my visit I lost a lot of money and that was exactly what I didnt want.Very sad, althought they are very friendly and fast.

I brought in my 94 chevy to have rear brakes checked/adjusted after i installed new brake shoes and these guys acted like they have never seen brakes before. They said installed my brake shoes wrong and suggested drilling into my brake drum to remove it and said brake shoes needed to be replaced and all this chaos when all they needed to do was CHECK my brakes.After telling them that the brakes should be installed correctly they told me to pick my truck up and parked it far away from their office. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!I went home and did it myself in 30 minutes. Brakes work great!This is the classic replacer-mechanic. You take your car in to fix one small thing and they call you 30 min later saying you need to spend hundreds of dollars!!!DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
