Everyone at Driscolls BW treated us like family every step of the way. They were honest, hardworking and kind people. We were in the middle of a refit on our sailboat when the pandemic hit and the stay at home orders were in place. I cannot emphasize to anyone that cares to listen… Do not EVER do business with this boat yard in San Diego!In 2014 they rip me off on a previous yachts for the sum of nearly $2,4000 dollars!. I had no alternative and so it wasn’t worth the fight because they threaten to hold my boat hostage pull it out of the water for a lady charge of $100 a day if I didn’t pay my bill.Then I forced to use them again because of the width of my new yacht, and they did the same exact thing to me even though it was a lesser amount.… They are nothing but dishonest, unethical crooks that you should never do business with!!

After having my boat in their yard for a month in 2019, there were a few items that Stephen Driscoll and I agreed would be due to me at a future date. I took him at his word and never got anything in writing. As life happens (especially in 2020), that stretched out longer than I could have imagined. One and half years later, I called him up and said, Hey, do you remember me? I would like to use that credit on something else, is that ok? He remembered me, he agreed to allow me to transfer the credit, and they did a great job on my new hatchboard modification. I was impressed, that after so long, he remembered and took care of me - thank you Stephen.
