This place is great! I started taking my bikes here because its much closer to where I live than the local bike shop I had purchased some of my bikes from. I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the mechanics and the quality of the work they do. Ive had them do everything from assembling my kids bikes to upgrading complete groupsets on my full suspension mountain bikes. They really know how to work on pretty much anything and are super nice guys. Plus, their prices are really reasonable, especially when comparing to rates charged by other bike shops.

The guys are great , they know what their doing and explain what is going on with your bike , always a customer. And the prices are not though the roof .

I have never once gone out of my way to write a yelp review...This place is awesome a true bike shop to the core. I cant even find words to say how genuinely integral and down to earth this shop is. First I dont know how their prices are so cheap. Second Tommy helped me out, If you want knowledge ask Tommy, if you want advice ask Tommy, if you want your bike dialed in to perfection ask Tommy. He went out of his way to make sure the bike was absolutely dialed. I couldnt believe how smooth my bike shifted when I got it home, not to mention he re-wrapped my bars and even cleaned some rust off the frame. Why would you go anywhere else when you can have the best prices in town, spot on service and employees like Tommy who are actually passionate about what they do. I am blown away in the best possible way by this shop.My 11yo sons beloved bicycle had just been refurbished here, and he wanted to bring it on a day trip so I removed the handlebars to fit it in my trunk. But then I couldnt get them back on... He was crushed and I was devastated that I ruined his bike right after he got it back.I misread the hours of the shop and came 2 minutes before closing time on a drizzly Saturday. Danny walked to my car (I have a bad back and cannot lift the bike on my own), diagnosed the problem immediately, and offered to fix it then and there. And he did. In the trunk of my car, with a smile, in the drizzle. He made me a hero to my son...or at least my son forgave me for ruining it in the first place.I am definitely coming back here. The customer service is top-notch and they obviously love working with bikes.

Ye Olde 2 is the poster child for hospitality, kindness, and AMAZING service! I have been going to this bike shop ever since my friend got me into biking and because of them, I found the perfect bike and have NEVER had an issue with their service. Awesome place! If I ever need a quick fix of something that takes less than 5 minutes they tend to do it for free! And if any major fixes need to be done they go above and beyond and make my old bike work like new.

Tommy, the guy who runs this shop is a God sent. He is an awesome & clever bike engineer and one of only ones that is able to come up with creative solutions; instead of the usual oh this dosent work with that... or sorry you just have to buy a new one... He instead goes out of his way to come up with alternate means of getting you back on the road. At this stage of my life, my bike is one of the only remaining Salvations in my life and means to not just transporation & mobility, but also mental and emotional balance & sanity as well as health & well-being. During times of eroding morality and diminishing levels of customer service, Tommy is a breath of fresh air by consistently providing solutions that are timely and cost effective.

As someone who used to be highly uncomfortable in bike shops Ye Olde was one of the first places I ever felt ok buying a bike or getting service because of the welcoming attitudes.I am glad they opened in the space vacated by Pedal Pushing as City Heights has many riders who need an affordable go-to shop. The workers here are friendly and informative. Its very clear that they are passionate about bikes and are always down for a good project, keeping in mind your safety and what is feasible with your budget.Ye Olde is an excellent neighborhood shop. Earlier today I walked in to ask about drilling holes into a vintage nishiki frame for a lock mount and water bottle cage. Without hearing my situation the guy behind the desk told me I clearly dont know what im doing. at this point i walked out. the indignation and hoity-toity attitude was very unprofessional and frankly insulting.came here to spend money, left with a very sour taste in my mouth. def not a way to win a new customer
