BE CAREFUL! There is no quality control and they sellAS-IS with no refunds and do sell defective products. I purchased a kitchen faucet for $170+ fees that was advertised as sealed box and was made to appear brand new in the pictures. In reality, someone attempted to install the faucet (it was obvious as soon as I opened the package), realized it was defective, packaged it back up and sold it. My plumber realized it was leaking and told me this needed to be thrown away. I contacted loveseat.com who said they do not give refunds and offered to resell it to someone else. I am not going to do that.Do yourself a favor and just go to home depot or costco. I wish I did.Update: The response from the company says these deals are Amazing. I purchased a defective faucet for $200 and found a better one at Home Depot. So its your choice if you want to risk your hard earned money for a deal. The product I purchased on the website appeared to be new, which it was not.

Most of the items are partial pieces which can be frustrating. At pickup location not sure if the young girl was new but it all seemed unorganized as it took her awhile to locate my item.

What I liked about this online auction was the quality of products. Everything I ordered was exactly how it was described. When picking up my winnings I notice the staff was really familiar with other customers. They were friendly, professional and organized. It was my first time and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an online auctioneer that is trustworthy.

Open your package before leaving! I won a dining room set on their auction site and swung by to pick it up. Oddly it was too large and I requested their preferred vendor Goshare to pick it up. The delivery fee was $80 and when I opened the box instead of a dining room table Ive gotten a headboard for a bed. I doubled checked the lot number on my invoice and what was on the box which matched. Its obvious Loveseat had made a mistake but they dont have a customer service phone line so I had to email them and wait a day for a lackluster response. Now Im told I would be responsible for the delivery fee and I need to return the item to get a refund. This item is a 80 lb box that I had delivered because I couldnt fit it in my car. Loveseat has deceptive practices with unethical customer service. They wont own up to their mistakes.

I used to love coming to this store back when you could actually shop at it. Now it appears you just sell way fair/ amazon/ bulk manufactured furniture and pass it off online to people who don’t know any better. No vintage to be found. Disappointing.

This is a garbage company. Theres a reason they dont have any listed phone number for you to call otherwise they would be inundated with disgruntled customers. Sell broken or missing item garbage that they buy for pennies on the dollar at your expense. STEER CLEAR!.

Unless you have money to waste, don’t bid. They have no phone help, the items are not described well. I bought a bar still and it came with 3 right legs and a left leg. They offer no preview. There aren’t enough pictures so if you email and ask a question you have to rely on that answer, I did and got screwed because it’s only 60” wide maximum and they won’t honor a pick up refusal or refund.Don’t shop with them and don’t trust them unless you have disposable income and don’t care.

This is an interesting auction but newbies beware. Almost all items listed as returned are actually damaged and most beyond reasonable ability to repair without serious mechanical or furniture repair skills, including soldering. Beware of delicate glass items. Many of the returned items have parts missing and there is simply not the option to try a repair. Very occasionally, a returned item might have more superficial damage, such as a dent in a refridgerator or a large deep scratch in a peice of furniture, damage that does not interfere with functionality but may not look awesome. Items listed as overstock have a moderately better chance of being less damaged but even they may have parts missing such as furniture feet on a couch which you can replace (so factor additional costs into your bidding limit calculation). Items such as silverware, headphones, shoes etc have a good chance of being undamaged but may still be missing a part. I would have thought bedding in the original bag would be undamaged but actually I bought a blanket which was thoroughly pilled and could see why it was returned. Also, sealed box does not mean never opened. It just means that the person who returned it to the original vendor bothered to tape it closed. That being said, if youre handy with the tools, you can buy 2 identical items and use one for parts to complete or fix the other - just make sure the combined purchase price with the added 15% auction charge and taxes are still a good enough deal to beat just buying one new one. And then...what to do with the old defunct one you are using for parts? Calculate in hauling costs if purchasing large items- both hauling from auction site to your home and to dump if damaged beyond repair. Finally, every now and then there is a treasure that someone returned because it was too hard to do a minor repair. In general, this is a good auction for volume and unemotional purchases that are based on careful fiscal calculations of cost:benefit ratio. The website proves comparisons to original vendors such as Wayfair to see what the item would cost new, but remember the auction fee (15%) , the cost to haul it and the very real possibility that the item is quite damaged. If I want a couch, I purchase 2 through the auction site assuming to use one for parts and make sure the overall purchase price including tax, auction fee, hauling to dump are still substantially less than puchase price of a new one (which usually has free deliver and returns). In summary: assume that any returned item is quite damaged and bid accordingly. That way you are not disappointed. And if the rare returned item is actually similar to new: do a celebratory happy dance: youre one of the lucky ones.

What a great find! At first I was skeptical of this type of as-is online auction but we ended up with a beautiful brand-new dresser at a huge discount. The pickup at the warehouse was very easy, they were very friendly and have rolling furniture carts to get your piece to the car. I will definitely look here first next time I need to buy furniture. They also had all sorts of other small items to check out.

What a wonderful experience I always have at Loveseat, San Diego.Since moving here from NJ, I have been able to find almost every item for our home at such unbelievable prices and amazing quality.The best part of Loveseat is that the furniture is never the same, so frequent visits unveil so many new and different pieces that wasnt there on my last visit.I try to visit at least three times monthly.What an amazing concept!!!

Love some purchasing from here but this week several of the items I was bidding on got pushed back another week last minute, doesnt seem fair. Not sure if the company wasnt making enough money off of them but 30 minutes before the items were ending, they were removed from the current auction and extended into next weeks auction. Doesnt seem very ethical to me. Also descriptions could be better, some items end up having missing pieces even if they arent listed as partials, so beware.

Great experience with the auction pick up this past weekend. Was easy to get in, sign for my items and get out. Covid and social distancing protocols all seemed to be followed.My only complaint would be that I wish their website had a way to track the items you bid on. During the auction itself it became a little confusing to find items I had bid on vs ones I just favorited.

Such a cool store! I was looking for an oval dining table to fit a small space, but needed it to extend for a larger dinner party. They had a GREAT selection and I found a table within a few minutes. The staff had a great attitude and helped move things around quickly for me to look at and took the table apart to fit in my car etc.. While there I noticed many unique decor items that would be great gifts. Highly recommend checking them out!

Love this online auction store, they offer vintage, and one of a kind, interesting furniture and odds & ends. The prices are more than reasonable, pick up times arent that great, but Ive been told their new location that they are moving to in the near future, will allow them to be more accommodating.

Bidding was fun, loved that Loveseat.Com gives you text updates all along. Also love the “favorites” feature for quick reference to my items to follow bids...A heads up if you’re a new timer...register from home (to get a number and time frame for pick up) before you leave...we were given a number (92)and estimated 4 hour wait when we arrived, yikes! But spoke to the worker and because things were slow we were able to pick up sooner(2 hours). We definitely watch for each weeks auction and may use the company to sell some of our own Items later on. Thanks for the fun and ability to find affordable furniture and household items!

Ive some good experiences & bad ones as well. Some items are zoomed & appear to be much larger in the photos than actual appearance. Make sure you do your Homework or Google the Products to get a clear description of what your bidding on.

The $20 per item fee they charge when you forget to collect your items was a deal breaker for me. One already spends a lot of money on this site, and adding per item fees is insane. Stopped using it just for that. Wish they were a little more linient with their fees. That said, people there are awesome though. The girl at check in is super nice and helpful. Its a hit or miss with the items.

Easy platform to navigate and use with just enough information online to know if you need to go to the preview. Transactions actually done were very smooth using online bidding and third party pickup. Well done! Follow the auctions on a regular basis to find treasures at good prices.

I’m kind of surprised that this site has any bad reviews at all. The pick up terms are clearly stated so if you can’t figure out the pick up, don’t bid! The staff is super friendly and helpful at both the SD and the LA sites. I’ve bought some amazing items at ridiculously great prices. Hopefully, the haters won’t bid anymore. That leaves more stuff for me!

Having multiple real estate related businesses, I used to shop on their website almost on a weekly basis and spend hundreds of dollars, and refer them to tons of clients. About a month ago, I contacted their support team about a mistake that was done on their end with the delivery of the items I got. The items I had purchased as a set were handed as a single piece, and the other pairs were put back on the auction. When I realized the mistake, I contacted them about getting the other pairs as the items had no use to me in singles; thats against the whole point of buying a set. When I didnt agree with the options given and asked to speak with a manager, with no further contact, they gave me a full refund and went ahead and blocked my account?!! Unbelievably terrible customer service!

This was my first time buying from Loveseat.com. There were some things about the process that I found confusing. For example, it was not clear when to be at the site to pick up items. I tried to email for clarification but did not get a response back. I received most of my items except that the legs and hardware were not with the chaise and ottoman I paid for. I felt the description of the items of what I was getting (or not getting) should have been more complete .

They do a good job with their descriptions and compared to most online auctions you really do get items as described.

It is a good clearing house but it is definitely buyer beware. the pictures are not good enough to ascertain quality. you need to go to the warehouse which may or may not be possible prior to bidding.

Super cute store with lots of vintage goodies and easy access off the freeway. Their website is also up to date, has nice pictures, and you can order online, which I thought was impressive since they are a local shop.I visited the store and eventually ordered online and scheduled delivery for the next day (they deliver Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday I think). I ordered on Saturday and didnt get confirmation for the delivery so called when they opened on Sunday and asked if they had gotten it. The woman on the phone was very nice and said she saw my order but didnt see the delivery on her schedule, but she apologized and asked when I wanted it delivered. I said anytime that day would be great (but lets face it, I meant basically ASAP because I was way too excited about putting my china in my new china cabinet) and it came within 1.5 hours! Amazing. The piece is beautiful and I got it for a great price. The store is very open about the marks or blemishes on the pieces and shows them in the pictures so you know what youre getting. 10/10 would recommend and will be visiting again in the future.

My first experience purchasing from Loveseat was so pleasant. I found a piece I loved online, bought it, and drove over to the San Diego warehouse to pick it up. When I got there, I saw a customer pickup sign, but since my piece was small, I called the store to ask which entrance I should use. The girl who helped me was so sweet and said I could come check in the front. I went in, she was very friendly, and went to grab my piece. I carried it out and brought it home and am so happy with it!! I cant wait to shop more!

I love this place! Im a big fan of online shopping, and I like to browse online before shopping, to compare prices and see what is available. Loveseat has the most awesome stuff for sale! I like that I can see the items online (they always have several pictures for each item), and then go to their store to inspect the items before purchasing. You can bargain with them. They really care about their customers and want the customers to be satisfied with their purchases. My only complaint is that their delivery prices are way too steep! (And, personally, I prefer natural wood, and dont like the shabby chic look at all! But that is just my opinion.) If you are looking for something unique, this is the place to find it!

I loved this place when it was a store and used to shop there all of the time. However, the auction process is very messy and is much worse for consumers. They told me the auction of item I wanted would end at 7 pm when it actually ended at 9, which meant I needed to carve two times out of my evening plans at the last minute. After I won the bid, I found out I could only pick it up between 10 and 5 on the following Saturday, else face a fee of $10 or forfeiture of item for no reimbursement (that is actually probably how they make their money). The new location is hard to find (tiny sign) and doesn’t match the photo on Google maps. Finally, when I moved my plans to pick up the mirror on Saturday, I found that the mirror itself had deteriorated so that you couldn’t see yourself in it very well. This was not reflected (ha) in the photos. When I told the person working there that it didn’t match the photos, she said I could reconsign it and could “make money or lose money.” So basically I would be involved in lying to someone else about the condition of the piece to get it off my hands. Never again. Craigslist is more reliable.

I love Loveseat Vintage Furniture! I recently purchased a small wooden cabinet to use as an end table - it is heavy enough so my toddler grandson wont tip it over. The store is convenient to get to, employees are extremely courteous and helpful, furniture is cleaned up and displayed in an orderly fashion, and I appreciated the opportunity to browse for pieces online and make a bid even before I got to the store. Have had nothing but problems using this company. Didnt pick up my purchase on the week I bought it and they put it back in the auction again and resold it without contacting me. Then I go to bid on an item at the end of the auction under 1 minute and my bid would not register. Im done with them.

Loveseat is still my favorite in many ways. I use to adore going to the warehouse, pace through, make my choices and take it home or have them delivered.I do have fun with the auctions and have gotten stuff twice. I have 6-8 furniture pieces from the warehouse itself. I now look for smaller pieces due to not needing anymore furniture. If I get large pieces it’s only with the intention of painting themself and enjoying giving them as presents.I think I will forever miss the warehouse.Don’t hesitate to try!

This vintage store was to die for!! Everything I was looking for and theres so many different vintage styles to choose from... mid century, some with a modern touch, some with worn characteristics that made each piece unique and one of a kind. Ill definitely be back again for more! They even have really rad area rugs that I wasnt expecting. If youre looking for selection and one of a kinds... take a cruise over to see them. You wont be disappointed. Also, the customer service was outstanding!

I love this store. They have quality vintage items and take great photos of all angles and post them on their web site. You can shop from home looking at what they have in the store, buy it on line (to purchase or reserve) and then go look at it. The staff is personal and will help you move furniture so that you can have a better view of the item. But I have to say that it is just as fun to go to the store and see what they have as it is all displayed neatly and easily visible.

I found Loveseat on Craigslist and I am real happy I did! I saw two balloon chairs online and when I went into the store they were more amazing than in the pictures! I was in heaven in that store as there were so many cool vintage pieces. I will definitely be back! My husband and I stumbled upon Loveseat Vintage Furniture Store in San Diego. We stopped in to have a look and were impressed with the selection of vintage furniture and great prices. Upon looking for items for our sons first apartment, we found a dresser and two night stands that we just had to have. The salesperson Charisma was very personable and knowledgeable. This place was such a great find! HIGHLY recommended!! I found an AMAZING reclaimed wood desk on their website yesterday, and I bought it immediately. Then when my roommate got home, we looked together and found a funky vintage dining table thats just perfect for us. We were able to add it on to the existing delivery appointment.. and here it is, the next day, and we have our stuff! One day, Id like to check out their store in person, but ordering online was super easy, and the pictures are very clear- I knew exactly what I was getting, and Im super happy with my items. Delivery charges were very reasonable, and the delivery guys, Will and Matt, were awesome and really nice. This will definitely be my first stop if/when I need any more furniture :)

When you pick up at the WH you will know if you meet the owner. He’s a heavyset guy with a beard and a very bad attitude. He was so rude when I went to pick up I felt like saying if you hate your job so much why don’t you delegate and better yet if you hate your customers so much why don’t you F@cking call it!!!

I have bought so many pieces from Loveseat that have been top quality at fantastic prices! Its so much fun to bid on your fav items then go pick them up. To be honest, I dont often make it to the preview day but the pieces Ive bought always look better in person.

Found a chest of drawers on line and made an offer. Offer got accepted and I drove to the showroom to pick it up. The nice folks at Loveseat had it ready to go and even wrapped it in plastic to protect the furniture piece on its journey home. Overall great experience.

I bought a piece of furniture online which was a straightforward process. Then I picked it up at their store/warehouse which was also a breeze, since they had someone carry the item to my car. While I was there I looked around a little. Everything is well organized and there are price tags on everything. The prices also dont seem too high to me like other vintage places. Its great! I would highly recommend coming here or buying online if you love vintage furniture/decor.

Hidden gem in San Diego! One stop shop for used furniture instead of hunting down garage sales. The coffee table we bought is beautiful and was well priced for the quality and good condition. We will definitely be heading back to Loveseat for our other furniture needs.

This is like the holy grail in San Diego of vintage and antique furniture... There is literally no other place in this city like it. Everything is neatly placed on shelves for easy viewing. Theres NO clutter (which is one thing that drives me nuts about thrift/antique stores. Too much for the eye is overwhelming) Everything is moderately priced (from $40 for a small side table to $400 for large hutches and armories) (and from what ive read on other reviews, i think you can make an offer on the price online) and the items are very unique. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

I was introduced to Loveseat Vintage from a good friend of mine who lives in LA. He knows I live down in San Diego and because I am an interior designer, he knew I would be very interested in the vintage furniture they have. I was very impressed by the user-friendly app and the great amount of high-quality pieces in the inventory! I visited the warehouse in San Diego and my partner and I decided to purchase a dining table and dresser for our new condo. The staff was very friendly and they handled the furniture in a professional manner, packing and moving it into our truck without any problems. I would highly recommend Loveseat Vintage to anyone who likes mid-century furniture and has a passion for small rehab projects as some of the items may require a bit of TLC. I myself work at a high-end furniture showroom and choose this company over my own to furnish my house so that must say something!

What isnt there to love about this store. Used furniture and lots of it. Something for every bodys taste and they are very friendly fare and easy to work with. If you dont like the price make them an offer. Its so fun. Ive bought many pieces. I love it.

Wonderful hidden gem- a few miles out of the way for me, but very much worth the trip. The website is easy on the eyes and updated so often you have to make a point to see whats new before someone else does. Streamlined and filtered in a way you would expect the prices to be sky high, but nope, absolutely reasonable, sometimes even lower than thrift shops. If you want to make your home something special, skip the cookie cutter big box stores and come here, where pieces make your heart sing.

I recently purchased two vintage Danny Ho Fong wicker bar stools from Loveseat Vintage Furniture. I spoke with one of the associates as soon as I walked in the door, and he immediately showed me where I could find the two items. Once he retrieved them and I was able to see them in person, I was very impressed with the condition of both of the bar stools. They were gorgeous, and in great shape. I was able to offer a lower price and it was accepted. I had at least four different associates ask if I needed help with anything, but not in a pushy way. All in all, it was the perfect shopping experience. I had a chance to walk through and look at some of the other furniture before leaving, and I cant wait to go back!

If you see something that suits your taste, you have to check it out. You will buy it! Very good quality used pieces. I appreciate the multiple photos and the honest description of each item. Loveseat has to be the friendliest and cleanest store of its kind in San Diego.

Stock is updated constantly so check often. Friendly helpful staff when we arrived to pick up our purchase.

Buying things online from this retailer is a joke. You purchase something without being told when the small pick up window is, and then forfeit your purchase if you dont manage to figure it out. They then resell the item at 100% profit, which provides a great business model.Ridiculous. Im glad I started with something cheap.

I was looking for a chair for my guest room that would work with a corner desk. I happen to find this place online and decided to take a visit. This place is easy to find, right off the 805 freeway and has a lot of great used furniture. After looking around, Jenny came up to me and asked me if I wanted help...she was very nice and helpful. I finally settled on a chair and after I paid for it, she insisted on carrying it out to my car! Great customer service... would definitely come back and let other know about it.
