The gentleman who helped us was very friendly and informative. We found a great space saving cabinet bed at Al Davis Furniture. We were afraid the mattress would not be comfortable, but it has been the best mattress we have ever owned. Once we were convinced, the salesman made arrangements to assemble the furniture at no cost and deliver to our home an hour away for a completely reasonable delivery fee. Our experience with Al Davis Furniture was flawless.

When my fiance and I moved to San Diego from Iowa, we brought no furniture whatsoever with us. On our second day here, we went to Mattress World and found an affordable bed we loved within 10 minutes. Bob was incredibly helpful in answering our questions and had our bed delivered and set-up in our bedroom within 2 hours of purchasing it.We absolutely love the mattress and frame that we bought! I cant recommend this place enough.

Great place to shop if u want to pay 2 times more then anywhere else

I have purchased several mattresses in the past from Davis and would agree that the prices seemed reasonable. I just purchased 2 new mattresses from Davis and was certain to verify before purchase that a warranty was in place in the unlikely event either mattress bowed in the middle and I was assured Davis would repair or replace the mattress if this occurred. Oddly, one of the 2 mattresses, after only 6 days, depressed in one spot/area by 2 inches. I called Davis to discuss this and was asked 4 times in a row, does your bed frame have a center support.... my response 4 times in a row, yes only to be told Davis would not repair or replace the mattress unless I somehow found a way to deliver the mattress back to Davis IN THE CAR I DONT HAVE. This despite the fact that I had just paid $85.00 in deliver charges a week before. While Davis prices may, at first glance, be reasonable, it is a cautionary tale to all prospective customers that should there be any problem with the mattress, the customer is left holding the bag, Davis will not honor their warranty; consequently, I am stuck with an expensive, defective mattress that Davis will not repair or replace.

I had to buy a mattress for my son who was visiting, and Bob helped me pick one that was comfortable and not out of my budget. They have a mattress for EVERY budget though, if you need something fancy. Thanks, Bob!

My son needed a relatively affordable mattress for college. Al Davis has always been decent a San Diego mattress stores for a DECENT price. For a very reasonable cost we got a good quality mattress that will hopefully weather a college dorm room experience lol,

I rarely write reviews...but I believe this is well deserved.This is the second mattress Weve purchase here, (first one was 12 years ago).I looked all over for the hybrid mattress I read about on the internet and only found them here. They have a selection of high quality organic mattresses (American and European) in the store so you can actually try them out. The best prices Ive found and also handsome wood platforms if you prefer not to use a boxspring.
