I ordered parts from this place and come to find out later, after they took my money, that they don’t even have the parts on hand due to a shortage of steel and the pandemic. So when I emailed them about a refund they won’t reply back. I don’t recommend ordering from this place.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Read all the other reviews. I bought the wrong size safety razor and went back to return it once I noticed one hour later. They do not honor returns even when it was within ONE HOUR of the purchase and the original package was still wrapped in plastic. Kevin actually called the cops on me when I began reading their own return policy printed on their receipt. He’s an absolute crazy person who has no idea what customer service is.

Horrible customer service. I actually paid for a repair and I received my clippers and they did not work. So I sent my clippers back to get them fix properly and they never sent my clippers back. Only one person answers the phone and her name is Nancy. She is really rude and ignorant. I would suggest that you find someone else to service your clippers. They do not treat consumers with respect.

I was about to purchase a pair of clippers at Sally’s Beauty down the road in North Park when the employee at the register explained that all sales were final with no returns. I said, “So if I go home, plug these in and they don’t turn on I can’t return them?” She confirmed that was Sally’s policy, but I could still go through the warranty process.So I went to Professional Products and More where their prices were significantly lower with a much wider selection of clipper options. They had a 30 day return policy there and even are a national servicing center for some brands of clippers. Glad I went to Professional Products & More for a clipper purchase.

I walked in and was overwhelmed with the vast selection of products. They had everything I wanted in-stock and allowed me to plug in and hold everyone to see which exact model I wanted. Customer service was beyond exceptional from both the sweet lady upfront and the manager. I got an in-person viewing of the clown show of the guy who leaves bad reviews from multiple accounts. The dirt bag repeated lines from each negative review, made threats and acted tough like he wouldnt budge on his point of view, only to cave in and BUY MORE products from a place he called CROOKED and from people he called SCAMMERS. I spent over $700 in the store on my Wahl 5 Star Collection and it was the best investment I made with a small mom & pop shop. Their store policy is simple and better than other stores, so no complaints from me. The biggest BONUS is their LOW PRICES which is lower than 98% of online sources! You also have the option of servicing, repairs or purchasing parts to service & repair yourself. This is a true 1 stop shop.

The current ~2.7 rating doesnt reflect the experience that I had. I ordered what I wanted online, the product was processed and shipped the same day and then it was delivered very quickly in an expected new condition. Shipping is kinda high I guess, compared to a certain A to Z company, but Im more than willing to pay a little more for a local shop.

I never write a comment on particular businesses but this one I have too everything here is advertised that they open at 9 oclock Mon though Fri and that they are only closed on holidays. Here on Monday the 27th of February and it is not open. I waited 30 minutes for them to open till 9:30. Listen to their answering machine to make sure they were not closed. I guess they just open as they please. Its okay if you dont open at 9 oclock just update your information that you guys open at a different time to let customers know what time you guys open. Thank you

My and son and I went here yesterday. He is in Barbering school and needed a new blade for his T Edgers. The store has everything you may need. The woman who helped us was very knowledgeable about the products which helped him make the best choice. She also offered helpful information in regards to tax time so we really appreciated that. We will go there again. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because other Barbering supplies stores in San Diego offer a discount for students. Other than that I would recommend this store to other people.

BEWARE OF THESE SCAM ARTIST!!!! 0 STARSThere customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I ordered a replacement charging base for a clipper. I paid an additional $47 for two day shipping on the 27th of May, it is now July 12th and I have yet to receive anything not even a response. I’ve sent 5 different Emails And still have not received any update. I called over the phone and the lady told me she didn’t have time to deal with my concern because she had a customer in the store. After Bickering with me and placing me on a 10 minute hold. She comes back to say “ Oh you were the guy who’s order was held up by the manufacturer” and that I needed to email customer service. So with this knowledge no one had the initiative to reach out and let me know. I had to call and find out. DONT SHOP HERE YOULL MORE THAN LIKELY HAVE THE SAME BAD EXPERIENCE LIKE THE REST OF EVERYONE here ALSO LEAVING BAD REVIEWS. THEY HAVE 2 Stars for a reason. I thought I was buying a replacement motor for my Andis cordless T outliner this company advertised this item for $25 I purchased it they changed my $15 more for 2 day shipping which for some reason this was the only option available no standard shipping so excited about the product I purchased it anyways. After receiving the item everything looked ok I put the new motor in only for it to not work so I decided to look into the motor and that’s when I found just the body of the motor with out any wires in the motor very weird I immediately emailed pictures regarding my findings with this company yet no return response I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this company very terrible leave this company alone bad service I wish I can lace the pictures of their bogus motor and they still have this product on the website

Great little shop with the parts I needed to get my old clippers going again. Lots of great stuff here if you feel like holding clippers/shears/whatever in your hands before buying them; prices are a little higher than online but the service is great and you dont have to pay for expedited shipping if you need it quick, you can just walk in, so cheaper overall. Staff seem knowledgeable and store is inclusive to dog groomers as well as barbers/hair stylists, which is a huge plus for me. Parking can be difficult around noon since there are lots of restaurants around, and you want to turn in on the clairmont mess blvd side if you are coming from the 15, otherwise many u turns will be in your future.

Never know exactly how long it will take or what you’ll be paying. Picked up my clippers and they still had an issue- while I understand equipment is sensitive and things can get dropped my clippers have been in my drawer safe since pick up and to get the issue resolved I’ll have to go back to Clairemont... wait another four weeks and may or may not have to pay an unknown amount. Not worth it after waiting four weeks and paying over $50 for repairs. The one gentlemen is very nice but the younger man at the counter sometimes is very condescending. That’s the last thing I can support from them. Not convenient to go elsewhere or use mail/internet services but I suggest you do so for a better idea of what to expect and a better guarantee of service.I’d never call about an issue if I was the cause of the issue. So hopefully that’s not what they were implyingEdit*** forgot I left this review!I STILL tell everyone I work with to avoid this place and thank goodness, this place is getting 1 star ratings left and right. I work as a groomer and cosmetologist. Having a good sharpener, sending directly to the source and supporting small business is 10/10 :) glad I cut this place for good with no issue 2/15/2021

Store prices are jacked up. When we show the website prices, they say that’s a different business we don’t match. That’s how they do the business itseems. Store is just 5miles to my home and the website wants me to pay $15 for just shipping. Just waste of time visiting store which they don’t honor their website prices

Went there cause I needed my trimmers done for a sharp clean cut. Did a $10 deposit, so he could fix my clippers. Said it would be done in 4 weeks. After the 2nd week, started reading the reviews and got worried but when the 4th week came. I called and he told me my clippers were ready!!! Now my haircuts have been super sharp and he recommended getting a razor which has been the best investment to myself. Definitely coming back!!!

Everything complimentary that Ive said on here I take back emphatically .... Everything I purchased today in store was considerably less online at their own website but they refused to honor their own online prices saying It costs more because you can see it in person, touch it and experience customer service So they are charging for customer service now ? They said they dont price match On their own website ???? When I kept posing the question of logic the owner I assume came from the back and said we cant take the product back because I could have used it ( I was away from the store for 30 mins .) He said oh we dont take back parts even though they were unopened . I mean all kinds of BS ... Then said Get out or I will call the cops WOW !!! Do not Order or Purchase anything from them. They are the worst ever !!! My credit card will get my money back ... This complaint is not going to end here.

I brought my clipper in that was only a few months old because I couldnt get it to stay shut after replacing the lever and they decided to replace all the parts; including the lever without talking to me about it and charge me for it. They refused to change the price and said they do not believe that they should have called me to check about replacing parts and that they think its unbelievable that they even have to have this conversation with me.

Went online to order a frame for my D7 trimmers, paid for 3 day shipping. 5 days later, received housing for D8 trimmers! E-mailed the company, they told me it was my responsibility to pay for shipping again to exchange my part. So $14 twice for a $5 part. When a brand new trimmer is $35. They will never receive anymore business from me or any of my barber associates.

DONT HAVE PRODUCTS LISTED IN STOCK and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Advertised they had a product I wanted in stock so I bought 3. What I received was a similar but TOTALLY different product that I did not want. No email or phone call to notify me of this, just sent out a different product! I called and emailed to request correct products be sent out and return shipping label to send wrong items back. Finally responded only to try and tell me they are the same product (which they are not) and if I wanted to return I have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee and I would not receive refund on original shipping I paid! So they sent me out wrong products (not what was pictured or described online) and I lose about $80 total! I am in process of contacting credit card company and Attorney General.

I dropped off a clippers for repair, they said it was going to take quite some time since they were so busy. Did not get a phone call, went to pick up clippers four months later and they sold them and would not reimburse me or even sell me another set of clippers at a discounted rate. Kevin was absolutely rude about the whole situation and he ended up being the owner. If I could give them a worse rating I would.

This store has everything you want, I only talk to customer service one time because I bought two Senior Wahl Clippers by mistake and they told me send it back with no problem. I get all my clippers and trimmers from them, they have everything. Just waiting on those Wahl 100th edition Cordless Seniors to ship out. Great store.

I took in my pet clippers because I lost a tiny part from the inside when I was cleaning them. The young man behind the counter was extremely unhelpful and very rude. I asked him if I could borrow a screwdriver so I could take off the blades and show him the part that I needed and he would not let me use the screwdriver. He told me that I could buy one for $2.50. This experience was terrible, it should have taken about 10 minutes to get the part and I could put it in myself. But this person was so unhelpful that I will never go back again

This was a very horrible experience! I ordered a product a month ago and have yet to receive it and the person who I talked to had very poor customer service and told me all I could do is send an email, I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to he said no and “That’s how we roll” never do business with these people!!! I plan to let the whole barber community know not to deal with this people for anything EVER!!

I dont feel like telling the whole story. In my opinion this company is lacking in customer service, they are extremely slow with several different completion time estimates. After 5 weeks i received my beard trimmers and they lasted one trim before failing to cut which is the reason i sent them in. When i let them know they said send them back......i was amazed, i could have bought one and a have new trimmers already. I should have read the reviews first. Lesson learned. I forgive you and will pray for you.

They have terrible customer service. They sell you either defective equipment or they put clippers that are not fine tuned and charge you for the fine tuned version, and when you bring them back along with a receipt, they refuse to exchange them. They offer to service them which takes 4-5 weeks...I also bought a pair of Andis gtx t-outliners, and everything that the box said was included, was not... They are rip off artist and try to cover up their lackluster service with what they believe to be smooth talk.They were rude to me and I will never do business with them ever again.. The only good thing that came out of this is that I found a much better place to purchase supplies that has better customer service and a much better exchange/return policy. They do not deserve to be in business and I do not recommend them for any type of business... I wish they had a corporate office so I could report them...

Options galore! They have a huge selection of professional clippers, blades, shears, and supplies. Its a little out of my way but I always make a point to come here because they have way better stuff than Sallys, Empire, CosmoProf, or Salon Centric when it comes to tools and accessories.
