Brian and his team are extremely professional and walk their clients through repair processes with detailed explanations for everything they do. The team is knowledgeable and helpful. They are not the cheapest option around but you can trust that they use good parts and do great work. They wont take you for a ride.

Brian is very knowledgeable about cars and is always ready to share it. Hes practical, honest, and fair, too. His staff are all great and friendly. Theyve all gone above and beyond to help you feel safe and comfortable during these COVID times. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for service on their cars (but check first to see if they service your particular make/model).

Truly my favorite auto repair shop anywhere. Despite moving back to Los Angeles, I have yet to find a place as honest or good working as Polycare. Owner Brian taught me more about my car and the auto industry as a whole than all shops combined. I even noticed he adjusted a gap in my soft top without me asking nor him mentioning! Abs nothing negative to say about polycare.

Scheduled an appointment 5 days before the Memorial Day Weekend 2021, show up on Friday for a diagnostic (vacum leak? Fuel pressure?) and If the problem was not that hard I was planing to fix on my own, but I need the diagnostic first, and they said the mechanic was off, and NONE of the of the other mechanics could take a look in a older car, because theyre only kids, the manager just look at me like it was may fault, didnt offer any solution besides saying: Bring another day! They didnt even try to take a look in the vehicle problem. That means they only have 1 certified or experienced mechanic, ANY certified mechanic can look the basics like fuel pressure, vacum leak test, or live data in the scan tool! They dont really care if your need the vehicle for the holiday. Not even a follow up after the weekend. Lack of professionalism, responsibility and sympathy.

Staff wears masks while interacting with clients, AND while inside the vehicles. Service is being impacted by the End of Year Rush of people getting their rides fixed, so it might be awhile before your car/truck gets into a bay.Still a Top Ten garage in San Diego.

The mechanics are experts in Japanese cars and they take pride in the quality of their work. The staff are courteous and dependable. The fees are reasonable and the service is efficient.

If you cant find a repair shop you trust, come to Polycare Automotive in Miramar. Brian is very honest. He knows my car very well and prevents me from doing unnecessary services which are strong recommended by other auto shops

I just dropped my car off and the staff is extremely friendly and honest about what the issues where with the car. Also very fast response rates and great prices. Definitely reccomend.

It’s not every day that you are pleasantly surprised by an auto mechanic. I am a shady tree mechanic, and I came to Polycare Automotive with some pretty strange requests. The guys at Polycare were genuinely interested in fixing the problem, and Jesus somehow talked me into it.The bottom line is that my car is now running as good as it ever has, and Polycare charged me a very reasonable fee for a really high quality repair. I don’t think that I have ever been so impressed by a mechanic.

Went in thinking I need my brake pads replaced because of a mild screeching sound. After inspection they said I dont need to replace anything and explained the source of the noise ( rust on the drums). And told me to come after a few months. Very honest! Didnt charge me anything for the inspection either!

Have brought my Japanese cars here for years. I used to work on my own cars (for 15 years) but dont have the time or space to do that anymore. I found this place and feel very comfortable with their expertise. Brian knows his stuff and I trust their mechanics. Their prices are fair and legitimate, which is not always true of other shops.

Good and fast service

These guys were so great!! I was out a headlight for my Hyundai and came in without an appointment and they got me in right away even though they were busy! They even sent one of the mechanics out right away to get the bulb for my car. I was only waiting a little over half an hour and their waiting area is nice and nice/helpful people! Good prices!

They are honest and very knowledgeable. They dont upsell or employ pressure tactics. I am a return customer.

I relocated a few months ago to the San Diego area and left my honest mechanic 500 miles away. I think I found his twin brother in Brian! They did excellent work on my Honda Civic blown head-gasket problem and fix a couple of other small things at no charge. I would recommend this place highly!

I am not really sure why, but I trust these people. That is the most important factor for me in a car shop. I have taken my car there many times only to be told that nothing needs to be done, and was charged nothing for the checkup. They seem to really care about their work and if they do anything to the car they make sure its done with the best quality. Their lobby is a little small but they are usually quick with their service. Friendly staff. It never seems they are forcing any services you do not want.

Super knowledgeable staff and reasonable price! $108 for synthetic oil change for my Subaru 2017 Crosstrek and told me it will last 10,000 miles. Will need to go back for top off at 5,000 miles for free check ups!

Called for a repair estimate for rear brakes and rotors because the dealer wanted to fix them for $424. Brian quoted $369 but said based on what the dealer told us, we dont really need service yet. Five stars for honesty!

Best mechanics ever. my splash guard was ripped and hanging. they clearly explained to me what is going on and re attached it without charging me. before i left, the mechianic also tells me what to do to take care of the scrached paint on my door. A+ service, would go again if i ever need to.

Brian and his crew are straight forward, NO BS, serious auto technicians. Hes honest, he wont up sell any unecessary repairs, hes extremely knowledgeable, and he does great work. Hes truly a rare breed of auto technician. If the fix is really simple (like something you could do w/o paying him), hell walk you through it. Expert in Nissans. Also, free-wifi and tea/coffee. I highly recommend him.
