Mike and Art at Branco Motors are unique. Imagine buying a car and not dealing with the salesman, the assistant manager, the sales manager and the finance guy, all adding up to four or five hours you spend at the dealership. I bought my car through Branco. I called Mike, told him the car I wanted, waited a couple of days and he called me to ask when he could deliver my new car. He drove up with it on a trailer (to Ramona no less) and explained the features. We then sat at my kitchen table and signed the documents. Entire process took about 30 minutes. Plus I got a great deal on it!! Save time and money? Why not?

I contacted Mike at Branco to help me with purchasing a new car based on the recommendation of a family member and had an overall great experience. Do your digilence before buying a lemon from this lemonade stand! Back in 2017 we purchased a boat from Mike. We were told that this boat was in good running condition and was very turnkey. We set up a time to test it on the water and Mike was very accommodating. The boat ran like a champ and we were really enthusiastic about it. Went back to his office and he showed us family photos of his time on the boat and made us excited to begin our journey. He said the only reason he was selling it was because he wanted a bigger boat. Mike was great, offered his services and even provided us with a detailed checklist about the boat. We dry docked the boat until we found the perfect weekend. Ran ok but not like it did with Mike. We just figured we were newbies and ran through the checklist again. We took it out a couple of more times and still something felt off. While out on it the boat started acting funny and luckily we were close to shore. We found a nearby mechanic who has basically had our boat since we got it. Our mechanic is just like a magician, always pulling something out from his hat. We discovered that the reason the motor looked almost new was because the black paint did its justice. Who knew Behr made water resistant paint. As our mechanic would repair one thing something else was covered in paint. For example the rods, talk about a Watergate. They were soo beyond rusted they cant be removed. Go figure the only thing not covered in paint was the exterior! Even our mechanic said we got scammed and wants the boat out of his yard. Before purchasing anything from Mike please do your research so you dont given in to his charm. The only thing Id recommend is his paint job! Oh and Mike love the new boat you have at the shop. Funny doesnt look any bigger than the one you sold us.

Mike Ruthenberg has helped me sell 2 cars and buy 1 car. He comes to my home and inspects my cars (without driving them - which surprosed me) and gives me a quote on the spot. Both quotes were around $500 more than what CarMax offered me.
