Finding a Honda dealership from Austin to San Antonio is hard with great service. So having found one here is extremely comforting. Armando helped me out. My part was on back order for literally months and he got me in a rental/service car. Definitely will be coming back to this location for all my Honda needs

These folks are very interested in what your issues may be. You are always treated with respect and courtesy. I bought my Honda Accord from Northside and they have never disappointed. Armando is an excellent service professional. Im amazed that he remembered my name from a previous time I came in for service. They are also gracious to provide a Lyft shuttle when I need to leave the car.

Not only do they take FOREVER when they promise an hour. Be prepared for it to be more than 2 and you just sitting there while they dont acknowledge you at all. Second, dont expect them to actually repair your vehicle. My under warranty mini vans windshield wipers werent working. They have never worked. Like anyone who has ever taken their car to a dealer, it isnt fun so you wait till you have to take your car in for repairs. My 36,000 miles was coming up so I took it in finally. First they say nothing is wrong, I say prove it. They couldnt and take it back for longer. Say theres a missing sensor on the windshield wipers but we wont fix it unless you get your windshield repaired (I had just gotten hit with a rock). I said fine, got it fixed. Brought it back. It will $500 maam for us to just recalibrate the windshield. I said no, it was calibrated by the people who fixed. He said, No we need to do it fix the sensor. I said, its under warranty, it has NEVER worked. Its been damaged so you have to pay to calirbrate the cameras. I walked out. Im going to sell the car and Im going to warn everyone to stay away from Northside Honda and Armando the service guy.

Absolutely great customer service. I was very nervous about purchasing a new vehicle and was almost hesitant to do so due to horrible experiences in the past. However, Cody T was INCREDIBLE! He greeted my father and I as soon as we parked and helped me find the perfect car for me. He was very informative, knowledgeable, and patient! The entire process was a breeze and even FUN. Thanks to Cody, I was able to walk away with a brand new 2021 vehicle and my family will definitely be back to purchase another vehicle soon! Brought my car in the service dept because of a recall. Best service ever! Wasnt expecting such great hospitality! I was provided with a complimentary ride home from the dealership shuttle service and they even have a customer waiting area with a slushi machine, cookies, popcorn, bottled water and sodas....all complimentary! Great experience!

Honestly it was a very positive car buying experience. Some of the usual back and forth over pricing, but I left happy. They were friendly and pretty efficient. In and out relatively quickly. Really no negatives that would keep me from going back or not recommending them to someone.

I have brought my vehicle in twice for the same issue and they have yet to resolve it. I have delivered the vehicle to the service center with the error displayed clearly on the dash and advised the service techs. The car stays for a week and I’m told that the error cannot be re-created. Mind you, this error has come on every day for over 2 years (maybe 3). Perhaps I expect too much, but I feel like the dealership should have the knowledge of their vehicles to be able to troubleshoot a problem vs just waiting for a code to come up. Additionally, there were other items in need of attention and I was quoted a price. Upon pickup, I was charged an additional $241…when I questioned the extra charges I was told they were taxes. I was flustered and accepted the explanation. Upon later inspection of the invoice, I learned the taxes were only $65. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because everyone is very nice, I was allowed to use a courtesy car and I’ve used them on and off for years. Unfortunately, I will now need to drive across town to try another dealership to solve my problem.

Northside Honda got me my very first new car! I originally called the place seeking to test drive a Honda Civic. I had already built the exact car I wanted online at the Honda website. The only thing keeping me from making that purchase is naturally I wanted to see and get a feel for “my future car”. Chase answered the phone and I asked about the inventory on Honda Civics and he definitely had some to test drive, cool, I tell him we’re on the way. Once we arrive, my boyfriend and I immediately start window shopping looking at all these Honda civics. Chase meets up with us at one of them and he points us in the direction of the newer cars. He shows us a 2021, and then sure enough side by side with this car is that beautiful black on black on black Honda Civic sport 2022. Chase told us that this car must have just came in. He also mentioned that these cars don’t stay on the lot for very long, so take action. Well, chase grabs the keys for a text drive and sold! I’m very lucky to have found the exact same build and color I wanted. Thank you chase, thank you Northside Honda!

This was our first time visiting Honda NS and it will definitely not be our last time. We felt as if our presence was sincerely welcomed and appreciated. We did not need a car but we wanted a new car so our options were open to where we wanted to shop . Joseph did a phenomenal job at taking the time to show us the vehicles that we wanted to see he was upfront with us and we know that he was the reason that we purchased from NSHonda. My first time here for service and it was a great experience. I made an appt 2 weeks prior. Took only 10 min to drop off my car. I expected to leave it for the day but it was ready by 11am. They also washed my vehicle as well! Service staff were all very friendly and professional. I will definitely be back here for my regular services.

Ive taken my Honda Civic only to Honda for service for the life of my car (2007) all over the world and have had nothing but outstanding service. On my last visit the mechanic was replacing a splash guard and found it didnt fit perfect. So, treating it like his own... He installed another guard... Outstanding personal ownership and craftsmanship! Adam was great at counter service explaining and even apologizing for the delay.

Absolutely great service!! I went into the dealership for an oil change and a tire rotation. A complimentary inspection was completed and furthered uncovered some other issues. My service advisor, Noah, went above and beyond to not only explain each issue but provided me a loaner car to drive while the additional repairs were completed. I’m incredibly satisfied with the work on my 2018 CR-V! I not only required routine maintenance but also a new tire. I’m a hospice nurse and my car is my office, making a flat tire that was unknowingly driven with a nightmare! I was given a loaner CR-V while they had my vehicle and Matt was so kind to even help me transfer all of my supplies on drop off and pick up of my vehicle. I needed an oil change and I had check engine lights on the dash. Went online to schedule a service appointment for a diagnostic. Showed up promptly for my 10:45 am appointment on Monday morning and was told that the wait would be minimum 3 hours. I stated that I had an appointment and was told that they were way behind. I left the car and waited until 5:00pm that afternoon to be informed that they wouldn’t be getting to the car until the following day and that it should be done between noon and 2pm. I received an automated text with a vehicle health report just after noon with “the findings”. The service department does not call and discuss anything with you. Believe me, I tried to call my service “advisor” five times. Each time my call was routed to the service manager’s voicemail. Repairs were completed (hence the second star) and I was finally able to pick up the vehicle at noon on Wednesday.Northside Honda has a serious lack of customer service and (unless you are fond of waiting) I would not recommend them. Although they are very close to my home, I will be looking for another dealer for future service needs.

Absolutely the worst Car Service Center I have ever experienced. I purchased the service contract when I purchased my Honda in 2018. Huge mistake! Ive had to deal with their lack of integrity with saying work was performed...though it had not. Theyve lost my vehicle a couple of times during service and lied about it. Hope you have lots of time to wait for your vehicle as well. Additionally, on a couple of occasions they even returned my car with scratches and dings on the rims. Finally, now that my service contract is up...I immediately severed all ties with this poorly run service center. I will never purchase a vehicle from this dealership again. Such a terrible experience!

Brandon is a top-tier professional who gave us a great quote and instilled confidence that we were receiving the best possible deal on the vehicle of interest. Brandon constantly checked in with us throughout the sales process making sure we were comfortable and satisfied with the service we were receiving. This level of customer service even continued after the purchase of the vehicle was made, as Brandon offered his own personal cell to answer any and all additional questions we might have.

Dishonest, DO NOT COME HERE!I brought my Pilot in to be looked because my ABS button was going off. They tried to scare me into accepting $4000+ of unnecessary repairs. When I declined the repairs, the price was *magically* lowered (I am a women in my 20s so I think they considered me easy prey).I also came to purchase a new key, I was told it would be $180, and after tacking on several unexpected fees I ended up paying $300. I know programming a new key can be expensive, but Im upset by the lack of transparency around pricing.

Have been to the service department a few times and usually fine, but the last time was very disappointing.They could not give me a price for a battery when I got there. I was supposed to get a call with a price and never did. I called 2 hours later and they could not find my car! Not in the system and person on the phone seemed really confused.I had been in the same dealership the week before trying to buy a Honda Pilot. The salesman was supposed to get back to us but didn’t. Seeing a pattern...They did finally get back to me with a really high price for a battery... picked up the car and got a battery somewhere else.They did my brakes and an update and that was fine, but the whole experience was frustrating and disappointing.Closest dealership to me so I was hoping for more from the car brand that I love.

I am sorry to say this, but this is the worst dealership that Ive been to. I have always purchased Toyota vehicles, however, I was advised to test drive Honda vehicles. Therefore, with a heavy heart, I decided to give Honda a try by coming into their dealership and asking if I could test drive two vehicles. Before sitting down at the sales agents desk, I informed them that I was only looking to test drive two vehicles, because I havent ever purchased a Honda before. Additionally, I let the sales agent know that I would be back in 1 week to purchase a vehicle if I liked test driving two of the vehicles.The sales agent took my drivers license and scanned it. Then, he proceeded to inform me that he didnt want to take me to test drive the two vehicles, because it was raining outside. Furthermore, he stated, that just for a test drive you want me to go outside in the rain? I was shocked. I thought to myself, wasnt that his job? To show me cars that I would purchase in the future? Then, I asked him if there was any other sales agent who would be willing to let me test drive two vehicles. He tells me that he is going to go ask someone else and leaves me at his desk for three minutes. He does not come back. Then, I ask a lady who was by his desk, if she could inform me if he was going to come back or if someone else would be able to help me. She went to the sales agent and then he loudly states no one is taking her for a test drive in the rain, she isnt even purchasing a car.This is absolutely NOT okay. It is NOT okay to disrespect a customer who has aspirations to test drive and purchase a vehicle from your store. This is why I was hesitant to go into a Honda dealership. I havent ever been disrespected like that in my life.If you value your respect and dignity, save yourself the trouble of going to this specific location. I will not place the blame on every single Honda dealership. Once again, I reiterate do not go to this specific location for a vehicle unless you want to be disrespected.Sales agent: I wish you well.

Richard asked a few key questions when we got started and then provided us with the info we needed, and did not know we needed. He did not mess around, which was nice.When we got to financing, Larry took good care of us. I messed up on a few checks and ended up running out. Larry arranged for Richard to follow us home to get new checks rather than have us go home and come back. It was really appreciated.Prices were fair—more in line with the Honda website than other area dealerships—with the best selection in town.All-in-all, the best car buying experience we have ever had.

I purchased all the warranties offered when I bought the car, now I’m told that it doesn’t follow the car, any and all repairs need to be done at this location. The service department have rude employees that do not allow you to speak to anyone else and tell you they will not transfer you you will have to deal with them. They promote specials and once you get the bill they tell you you missed the fine line and you get charged double what you anticipated. When they offer you additional items for your car they only mention the cheaper portions and don’t detail the cost of everything and again catch you by surprise when you get ready to pay. And if you refuse and want to talk to a supervisor of course they are gone and they will not release your vehicle. You are taken around in circles and over charged. Don’t be fooled, they will talk numbers but leave some out until the end.

I had to leave my car at the dealership because it had stoped working.The service staff was gone for the day as well but a member of the ho da team told me I could leave my keys in a drop box for when they opened up again. Made me feel comfortable about leaving my car with them and the next morning when I called to see what I needed to do they had replaced the battery, changed the windshield fluid and a car wash. I couldnt of been happier with the service and the speed Northside Honda offered.

Brandon was so helpful with us getting into 2 new cars. We couldn’t be happier with our Accord and CR-V. The one I wanted wasn’t on the lot but they had it somewhere else and got it there the very next day. Honda didn’t give us a bad deal for the trade-in we did. Other places lost our business because it wasn’t even close to the trade in value on KBB, but Honda was right on point. I give 5 Stars for the service and honesty. Thank you!

I traded in my vehicle and purchased a new (used) vehicle from this dealership. Overall the experience was positive. I felt like I got good money for my trade-in. The only part of the deal I wasnt particularly pleased with was how they dealt with the sales price of the new (used) car I purchased. I was told the car was first price is best price, which one would assume would also be the advertised price. However, once I was there and after I test drove the vehicle, they added several hundred dollars to the advertised price because the car was in demand. In the end, the overall net of the deal worked out, but it felt like I was getting a bit scammed on the new car purchase price. I got a great interest rate, and the finance guy was super nice and easy to work with!PS - When I got home, I realized one of the windows of my new (used) car didnt work so I now have to deal with getting that fixed (they sell vehicles as-is). The car is under warranty, so its ok, but be sure to thoroughly check your vehicle before you leave.

Customer service is trash. Jimmy told me it would be a 1.5 hour wait for an oil change. 3.5 hours later, I asked for an update. He blamed it only having “two technicians for all these cars”. It would have been nice to have an update so I could’ve ran errands instead of waiting in the store. A full point inspection was not performed and I got no updates on what my vehicle needs. I won’t be back. They do have a barista which was the only good service in that place.

The people over at northside honda are great. My wife and I were out to look at new vehicles yesterday. We requested a salesperson and Steven came and helped us look at several different cars and we decided we needed the accord we purchased. At no point did we feel any pressure to buy or to purchase anything additional they merely gave us the information and allowed us to make our own decisions. One of the worst service I have received pertaining to auto service. I took my car to check a check engine light and resulted being a fuel leak. It took them almost 2 weeks to get it fix. I have gone to other auto services and it usually dont go beyond 3 days for the same problem. Besides that they did not keep me up to date in the progress of the service and had to called them various time. They also did not offer a loan car for that long of a service. My recommendation would be to go to Gunn Honda on I-10W they seem to do a better job. Personnel that were in charge of my car service was Matt and Noah.

Had an amazing experience at Northside Honda!! Took in my CRV for service and was short on time and they had me in and out! Matt and Noah in the service department were simply wonderful and displayed amazing customer service! They couldn’t have my vehicle serviced in a timely manner that worked out with my schedule but offered me a loaner vehicle which was awesome. Picked up my car the next day and Noah followed up with updates the entire time. These guys really excelled and made sure my son and I were taken care of. Thanks Northside Honda! I’d like thank Malcolm Sivers from Northside Honda. He helped me and wife purchase our 2019 Honda Accord sport on December 16, 2020. He was attentive, and professional, he helped us obtain a great price on our vehicle! We pulled up to the dealership an hour before closing and we were helped out without feeling that we were rushed. We finished the paperwork after the car wash was closed, And Malcolm simply told us to come in the morning to get the car detailed. We did and we noticed the door trim on the driver side door was damaged. Malcolm without hesitation ordered our trim piece at no extra cost. He even stayed in contact with me during his vacation to inform me when the trim piece would be available so our car could be repaired. He’s truly a great guy. The only thing I did not like is I didnt get a copy of the multipoint inspection. I didnt need a physical copy I would have liked an email for my own records. I went to this dealer looking to purchase a Honda Civic around a couple weeks ago, and it was a very negative experience. I was first lied to about was available on the lot as they tried to talk me into an older model. I then received a callback after I left saying they had something available. After I came back they showed me a car they had and told me the contract was already pending on it (they had already sold it to someone and were waiting for financing), but he said he would sell it to me anyways. They then quoted me a price that was way above the MSRP. I would never buy a car here, and I would highly recommend you stay away from this dealer, unless youre ready to deal with the lies and games they are willing to play.

Do not waste your time like I did!I saw the great reviews online about the amazing support and flexibility of the sales team and thought I had found the dealership that would support my newly expanded family.I inquired about an Odyssey online and was told that the vehicle was available - the person even asked if I would like to come look at the vehicle. I responded, yes - I would like to look at the vehicle. I never heard anything back. I then got an email from the general manager Paul Hopkins checking in. The email kindly asked me to call the dealership to continue to work on the prospective deal. I called the general manager back and left a message — with no reply. During a very heavy work week for this single military mom— I carved out some time to go into the dealership to touch base. Turns out the vehicle I inquired about was “not available”. This was the perfect vehicle for my family— and still shows to be available on the dealers website. Disappointed and understandably irritated, the salesman Joseph began to help me entertain other Odyssey’s that were close to the one I wanted. But they did not match the price point. So I kindly asked to see the Manufacturers price for the vehicle I had considered.. not once- not twice - but THREE times. The sales manager provided fixed pricing even though I had demanded to actual purchase price. Wasting my time with out even the consideration of a negotiation! The kind salesman Joseph was very apologetic and seemingly understanding of my situation— so I give him kudos— but UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO SETTLE FOR THE VEHICLE THEY WANT YOU TO PURCHASE AND PAY FULL PRICE— DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT NORTHSIDE HONDA.

Matt was the service associate that helped me. He answered all my questions, was patient with me, set me up in a loaner vehicle while mine stayed in the shop. Matt called me to inform me my break pads had to be ordered and it may take longer. Everyone was very nice. Beware: we were asked to pay $2500 over listed price / MSRP for a 2021 Honda Civic. This wasnt a Type-R or even the newly redesigned Civic. When pressed about the extra charge, our salesman said its due to the national shortage of new cars. He went on to say that other dealers are doing this and tried to use fear tactics on us to get us to stay at his desk. Let me be very clear, other dealers are not doing this. We purchased a brand-new Toyota a week before this with no dealer markup. And then, after this experience, we found the same Honda Civic in Austin with no markup and purchased on the spot.

I come from Miami and I have never had any problem in my life with the Honda brand. I went to repair my car which I thought the most likely was a spark problem or some sensors and they make me understand that my car had been stolen parts and that they wanted to charge me $80 per hour after we had agreed to $ 80 for the inspection.My thought was $80 per hour and the mechanic seating eating a Sandwich. These people are scams and what they dont know is that you can even sue for a legal arbitration to them for those high costs.I Currently I have a company and my finance employee who graduated from Yale works for me for $40.per hours. Avoid this place as they seem to like scam local people which makes me feel bad for Texans who have not seen the world.

I brought my Honda Ridgeline in because of a check engine light. It took three hours to tell me that I had an error message indicating that my fuel mixture was too rich. I already knew this information. The clerk at the O’Reily Auto Parts store was able to determine this in less than ten minutes. The Honda Service advisor told me that it would require another test taking 45 minutes to determine the exact cause of the rich fuel mixture. An hour later, the Service Advisor told me that my car was ready to go. I can only assume that the service person reset the error message and the message didn’t reappear since there was no repair mentioned. Four hours sitting in the waiting room to reset an error message. Not impressed.On a positive note, the service advisor was as efficient and helpful as possible.

Took my son to purchase his first car, he was so excited to finally get his car after saving his $$ for so long, the salesman was rude, from the beginning. I let my son deal with him since it would be his car, his experience. He had plenty of money for down payment and was willing to sign a contract for a car on the spot. Dealing with this gentleman was a nightmare. He didnt even allow my son to change the car to eco mode or explore any other options on the car during the test drive.Back at the dealership he bluntly tells him, we wont give you any sort of incentives, discounts or warranties, if anything price will soar because you are a 1st time buyer. We dont work with you on that here. I mean, great business, who says stuff like that when youre trying to make a sell, guess he wasnt!! Went to carmax after that, and he bought a car, on the spot.I didnt appreciate how treated us, 1st time buyer means a repeat customer for years to come sir, had you taken care of him. Extremely disappointed in the service.

Went in on a Saturday morning to check out the Honda CR-V. The salesman, Josh, was incredibly rude and dismissive. He rolled his eyes and sighed when I asked to test drive the car. When I was leaving he talked about me to the other guys at the front of the dealership so loudly that I could hear him from my car. All around a terrible experience. He seemed completely uninterested in selling cars and even less interested in being a polite human being. The car I wanted was on the lot, but I could not buy it from this dealership because I wouldnt have wanted to deal with Josh for another second. Disgraceful.

Old school approach to sales. Dealer was not willing to share anything over the phone despite me providing everything asked for. If this is any indication of the experience to expect, stay away. Sloppy execution with lazy approach to sales. Dealer obviously has something to hide. There are plenty other dealers that have evolved since the early 2000s and understand how to earn business. Went in about a week ago for routine service oil and rotation. Was told everything was good and same on invoice. THEN, received email that I desperately needed to change transmission oil because it was noted that is burnt and used up. Maintenance interval manual states that it is not needed until 90k miles. Only has about 37k miles on it now. This has happened before here at this location. Feels like something dishonest is going on. Again.

After servicing my dudes Honda so well, I took in my Toyota, no questions asked. Granted it was either an upcharge/couple hours notice for them to acquire my oil, or I provide it myself (I did the latter). I gave them a couple specifics as to how I like my cars serviced, and they did just that, as well as a complimentary car wash. They kept me informed as to when my car was ready for pickup, they are centrally located with several places to walk to while waiting, and they offer complimentary charging stations and coffee/snacks while you wait. They performed the excellent multi-point inspection which gave me such peace of mind. Ill definitely be returning!

I went to Northside Honda to check out a Certified Pre-Owned Honda Accord on 5/3/21 and a Sales Rep named Lexi helped me out. So, I decided I wanted to move forward to buy the car. I didnt have my trade-in car with me at the time, so we went home to think about it, run the numbers, and get the trade-in. When we got back that evening we moved forward, the manager checked out my trade in, and they wrote up all the numbers for me. 29,777 sticker price, 350 transaction fee, 850 for certification, 15,000 for my trade-in, plus tax. The out the door price they gave me was 16,900. I went back and showed them the true-car ad and asked why it is advertised as CPO in multiple location with the sticker price as 29,777 and was told that it wasnt certified, but certifiable. I felt like something wasnt right so we walked from the deal. I called back the next day hoping that I could reach out while a different manager was in the office. I got a sales rep who gave me an estimated out the door price on the car as CPO, estimated at 16,000. (The price of the car without the 850 certifying fee) Soon after, he said his manager looked at his computer and asked if I was in the store last night. When he found out I was, he changed what he was saying, reiterated that the car was NOT certified, after I clarified 4 times before that that is was. He got angry with me, told me to F**k off and hung up on me. I have no interest in continuing to work with Northside, and would advise anyone else to do the same.
