They seem very nice and professional. The sod was delivered when they said it would be. We’ve had our sod almost 5 months and it looks amazing!

Sod came early in the morning and the product seems fantastic. Attached soil wasnt wet and grass is very green. Very consistent sizing.

The sod arrived early on delivery day and the driver went above and beyond to make sure the sod was easily accessible for us. We ordered 18 pallets and there were very few rolls that were cut thin and nearly all of it was useable. It arrived in great condition.I called a few different places and Sod King was priced lower than most but slightly higher than bulldog. The reviews for bulldog werent nearly as good as sod king and after using sod king, Id say the slight increase in price was worth the peace of mind that you are getting quality sod and professional people to work with.I needed to get some additional sod after my delivery and wanted to pick it up. Their pickup wasnt available yet but they referred me somewhere that had the same grass so that it would match. I feel like its pretty big of a company to refer you somewhere else to get what you need vs making the customer wait just so that they will do business with you. Id highly recommend them!

Great customer service and quick installation! I needed to adjust the order a day before the delivery due to a change in landscape plan. Sod King was so accommodating and helped me collect more sod from other sources. The installation by Dillon and his friend was also quick and efficient.

Price, service, response time, my whole experience with the company was great. I had a reservation and they worked with me to get me a sooner appointment. Always prompt response times for quotes and any questions I had and the sod was delivered professionally and promptly. And the product quality is beautiful. When we finish our backyard Ill definitely be using them again!

We ordered sod and we were told that while they couldn’t put it in our backyard they could get it in or near our driveway. We live off the road about 200 feet at the end of a driveway and they didn’t even attempt to drive down the driveway. They dumped it in the road near three houses that aren’t ours! We called the company and asked them to please move it in front of our house at least so that we don’t have to carry it as far (also so that it doesn’t get taken??). The guy apologized and said there was nothing they could do because they don’t actually work with the people who drop off the sod and they were already driving back to Idaho??? Mind you, they had dropped the sod off this morning at 7 am but their customer services didn’t open until 8 am and so we couldn’t even call for an hour. Who separates their company like that? We have people coming to install the sod and now they will have to travel back and forth from the road to our house and it’s going to take way longer. If, you know, someone hasn’t just walked off with a few rolls that they needed for their yard. Really frustrating situation and even more frustrating that these guys are just shrugging their shoulders and being like, oh well. Sucks for you guys.(side note: They are saying all of this stuff about breaking concrete, our driveway is asphalt and so this excuse is invalid.)

Ordered 3 cubic yards of mulch. Looks great in my yard. I really appreciate the system they have to order product. I was able to get things rolling with a webform on their website and then scheduling was done via text. Very convenient!

Quality sod and great customer service. Dwayne made sure I was taken care of via text on a Saturday even after they were closed. All done super easy. Also impressed with how quick they could get it to me. I left special instructions for drop off and driver followed it perfectly.

We are absolutely in awe at the quality of our sod received from Sod King. We ordered 4 pallets and out of all 4 pallets, only 3 pieces of sod were slightly less quality, and were still able to be used to fill in oddball spots. The Sod came with a beautiful dark green color and has kept that color after exactly 3 weeks and is absolutely thriving. I would recommend Sod King to anyone!

So the sod was delivered before 7am and at 7:02am I received my email invoice. However, the night before was told they would let me direct where to place the pallets. I was up at 6:30am and it was already delivered. No contact/no phone to direct placement of the sod. Will not work with us to come back and move with forklift the pallets, stating not able to because may break our concrete. We are willing to sign a waiver and have their help but at this point, absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very disappointed as we have 2000 ft of sod that needs to go into our back yard, with easy access to get back to it. No CUSTOMER SERVICE. They did not do what they said they would be willing to accommodate just the night before. Will find another sod company that has better customer service next time.

I have been needing some good Sod for awhile and started shopping around to find the best price matched with quality. I saw many pictures from other places with terrible looking sod. The reviews are what lured me to Sod King in the first place. I requested a quote and got a response back within five minutes. The quote was $700 dollars cheaper than the next lowest I had received. I placed an order and set up a delivery date. The Sod that was delivered was absolutely beautiful and green. Even the sod that took me a couple days to get too looked great. It has now been a little over two weeks since delivery and my years looks wonderful. I am very pleased with the Sod King. Excellent price and excellent quality. Also any time you need to reach customer service they are quick and easy to get ahold of, very helpful and very polite. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Buying sod and having it installed can get a little pricey, but we knew that going in, so no real comment about Sod Kings prices. But I can say they did a great job. They communicated with us well, reminding us when our installation date was and how to have our yard prepped beforehand. They were a few weeks out, probably due to a sod shortage this time of year (October). But when the day came, their installers were super fast. 5 or 6 guys rolled up and they laid all 1,500 sq ft in about a half hour, which also included trimming around rounded areas and cleanup. It looks great and was worth the wait!

Sod King was great to work with. Prices are fair and their website makes the process so easy. The only thing that would have made it better was if they could have staged the sod in my back yard. Delivery driver said they could not drive the forklift across concrete or grass because of liability. Sod was delivered at 1:30 am. Delivery driver was very friendly and worked quickly and as quietly as possible with the 13 pallets we needed.

Really high quality sod. Loved that it came in rolls. It was much easier to put down that way. They deliver super super early in the morning. I got up at 5 am and the sod was already in my driveway. If you want to meet the driver I would get up even earlier.

Overall, this company did great. They had great communication and the sod was very lush and green. Only taking off a star because the delivery didn’t come the morning they said it would and we had landscapers there to put it in. It came that night and we had it installed the next day. It was a little inconvenience but it was the delivery people’s fault and the customer service people were very responsive and nice.

What a great experience from the beginning to the end, very informative , very helpful with after care. It was nice that the deliver driver called and let me know he was 15-20 mins away , the install crew was amazing very friendly and kind. The install crew even took the extra sod and covered a hold that was in our front yard. Definitely would recommend to any one who is looking for sod.

Sod King really delivers (literally and figuratively)! 😉 I needed a large order of mulch, and they were able to squeeze me into their schedule and get it to me sooner than they normally would have been able to. The owner and his wife delivered the load personally. She guided him verbally via Bluetooth and he was able to do an amazing job of backing down our long driveway, avoiding the house on one side and a basketball standard on the other side, for a perfect dump! They were both so personable and friendly, and I enjoyed speaking to them about their experience of moving to Utah. I appreciated the ease of being able to do the entire transaction and make payment online. From start to finish, it was a very easy process and the dark brown mulch is gorgeous in our yard! I purchased 4000SF of sod and installation.Sod quality was better than I expected.Communication with the installers was non existent. While the installers did eventually show up and did get the installation completed quickly (2 1/2 HRS) I was not overly impressed with the installation. There were several areas where they placed a bunch of small (2-4 inch) pieces to fill in. One particular area was approximately 24 inches wide by 18 inches long. From talking with the installers it was clear they were more concerned with the amount of scraps they had to haul off than the quality of the installation itself.Luckily they delivered more sod than was ordered by about 150SF so there was plenty to fix their mistakes.Overall I would recommend Sod King but be prepared to fix a few things.

Super easy to work with and the install crew was great!

So, so, so easy. I did a quote online and got it in my email within 10 minutes and was able to accept it, or call if I had questions. I also loved that I got a call, making sure my delivery day would work and was offered services from their partners if I needed sprinkling systems, ground leveling, etc....Delivery was a breeze!! It was dropped off in the morning and I didn’t even have to sign anything or talk to anyone. I got an email to pay the invoice and that was it! They even came to pick up the pallets after we were finished!! 10/10 recommend using Sod King.

Sod King delivered on time and placed the pallets on the west side of our house as requested. The owner even showed up, at 4 am no less, to make sure the delivery went smoothly. The price actually went down from our original bid, a pleasant surprise. Three weeks later, and our new lawn is a beautiful emerald green! We couldn’t be happier.

Had to scramble and push up our sod laying day by a week because of weather... sod king accommodated and delivered on time so we could get our yard in before it snowed. Delivery man Steve Pope was friendly and was able to place pallets of grass where we needed them for easier installation!

They were great. This is the second time Ive used them, and due to unforeseen circumstances with that install, the owners actually came out personally to make sure they job was competed as promised.

Overall the experience was good. We were delayed due to rain a bit ago. They were quick to tell us it may be delayed but slow to nail down the details. Unfortunately it was hard to get a hold of them.We elected to have them install our sod. They were very efficient and wasted little to no sod. My only gripe is that Sod King didnt originally five me a window of when they would arrive so I sat around the the majority of the morning waiting for someone who wasnt coming yet. It wasnt until midday that I found out their arrival window; that detail would have been nice to know up front.Overall Im pleased with the results, the sod is of good quality control and looks much better that others I have seen. The guys who did the installation were very good and cut it to fit the yard as needed. I would recommend them to others, even though the process wasnt completely without its hiccups.

I would love to give 5 stars because the sod is great, the installers however, are not good at all. Instead of them cutting the dead ends off the roll, they just threw it down. I had plenty of sod for them to not leave any dead spots but because of what they did, I have so many dead spots in my lawn that is only a week old. Now I have to get grass seed and soil to fix a lot of areas of my lawn. The sod gets 5 stars, but the installers made me give a 2 star rating.

Great customer service! Mike went above and beyond to do anything to help when I got myself into a pickle. He could have just said youre out of luck but he reached out to others in the field and worked after hours to help me. Plus, the sod was healthy and with minimal junk in the rolls.

I have used sod king on two of my projects. They have been absolutely great both times the quality of the sod is great they also installed it to perfection. What I like the best is they gave me reminders a week or two before that way I knew they didn’t forget. I will use them on any future projects.

Laid around 3500 sq/ft of sod and it all looks fantastic. Even the tiny pieces I cut out to plant in a few bare areas around my already established grass grew in thick and green. I really liked Sod King and was happy I went with them.

Mike From sob king was very good to work with. He went above and beyond the Call of Duty to help us with installation after their initial installers said they would not do the work because it was too hard with to little access. The 1st installers were very babies and didnt want to work!! If I knew who they were I would not recommend them.

Good service. Always kept me notified when things changed. Only complaint is the driver that delivered the sod did not tell me when he arrived and did not ask where I wanted the sod placed. He placed it in my drive way and it was quite a ways from where I laid the sod.

Like everything else, the Covid-19 pandemic created supply issues even in the sod industry. With that said, I can’t say that the entire process was flawless. I can say however that Mike did what he could to make things right. Honesty and integrity should be key elements in any business. Mike and Sod King possess both qualities and in the end I was well pleased with the outcome. The sod delivered is lush green, quality cut and with little waste.

Highly recommended, prices are reasonable, they are super helpful. They had very detailed communication every step of the way. Good quality sod well put together so glad we chose them. Had a quit a few spots that have completely died and look like straw, but sarah has been helpful. Hoping the bad spots grow in.
