Purchased a Cobra gun from Cabelas, didnt fire, shipped to Cobra for repair (in February), told it would be 3-5 weeks. It is now the Last Days of May..., still no gun. Told on several occasions it was done & shipping the first of the week, called Cobra over 30 times in one day with no answer..., very bad experience with both Cobra & Cabelas. Buyer beware!!Please pass this horror story on.

Bought a new Cobra Derringer and out of the box the hammer wont release. Apparently Cobra went out of business and the new company will not honor the lifetime warranty. So I was told to contact a local gunsmith to repair. Avoid Cobra firearms at all costs.

I placed an online order for parts back on July 21st 2019 & was charged immediately for the order.Fast forward 4weeks & still no order shipped , Called numerous times to find out whats the hold up to NO AVAIL.Now its October & out of the blue the order shows up with only 1 of the 2 parts ordered inside , but the invoice clearly states what had been ordered.So its back to the phone Lines & No answer what so ever..........Save Yourself the Headache & Look Elsewhere for a REPUTABLE COMPANY !

While I have reviewed a few gun stores, Ive never reviewed a firearms manufacturer. So, this will be interesting.I purchased the model C22LR, which is definitely a fun little gun for its price.($100-120 is what I paid, and it was used)My friends and I took it to the range and put at least 50-100 rounds through it. We had two misfires, but for that price of purchase, it was excusable. When I went to clean it, I removed the plate that held the firing pins in place, and it completely shattered. Well......that sucks. I ordered a new part, and the customer service line was very kind and polite. It costs a little bit to order online, but I figured its worth the trouble.The customer service was very impressive, but the reliability of the product(that I purchased. I dont know about the rest) could used a little work.

Ordered a part online. Got my confirmation invoice. Then NOTHING!! Emailed them asking why I havent received my part. NOTHING!! Do NOT recommend this place AT ALL!!

They have a fantastic customer service team when you call in with questions. Their life-time warranty is very convenient; if there are any issues with your firearm they will fix it for free and in a timely manner. A great company if you are looking for protection that is also economical.

Tried ordering a selector for my American Derringer m-1 .380 over their website I could not Ive tried on 5 different devices thinking it was my own first none of them worked I then called and put an order through on a Thursday and I called on the following Wednesday because they said theyre going to call me back and never did to give me any confirmation that it has gone through, and when I called they said they have no recollection of me calling nothing with my name on it theres no order in their system. I put the order through again. I was told they would call me the next day to confirm a week later they still havent shipped it out they blamed it on they had pushed the orders aside because they had other stuff to work on and the lady said she would get it pushed up and well have it shipped out first thing tomorrow so I called back 3 Days Later nothing has been shipped out yet, I was told this part was on backorder 6 weeks after I had placed my order and they went and charged my card when an item is not in stock and didnt call and let the customer know. I then asked asked when it will be back in stock and she said next week and I asked early next week or late next week she said late next week Ive then cancelled my order and asked when I will get refunded my money this was on a Friday she said the lady will process it on a Monday. I guess well see if Ill get my money back within the 6 weeks. In just about all the reviews for Cobra that I have read has to deal with sending something in for repair or someone needing a part just about all of those reviews are negative when people talk with them over the phone about a quick question they seem to be nice and good customer service. So the conclusion Ive come to is that theyre great at blowing smoke at you over the phone but when it is time for them to show their work in either fixing a firearm or sending out a part they 100% lack in that department. I dont know why this business is in existence when they offer these said service and nothing gets done. I would not recommend these people at all under any circumstance dont go there save yourself the trouble that I went through and all the other people that had left reviews. Thanks.

I would rate them a zero if I could bought the cobra Denali. 380 for my wife she put maybe 20 rounds threw it. Her family comes up for holidays take them out to shoot a few guns get to the .380 an shoot it 1 time an the frame breaks so I contact cobra they tell me to send the firearm to them the will check it out so I send it early April here it is mid November no firearm as promised an now they wont answer my calls so Im out a firearm an money now thanks cobra lesson learned stay away from cobra firearms

I am a dealer and have tried selling Cobra years ago, but when literally every gun you sell has to have warranty work, it signifies poor quality control. A few years ago I met the new owner at a trade show and gave them another chance based on promises of significant improvements in manufacturing and quality control. It aint happening... it hasnt changed a bit... same silliness... and the worst customer service on the face of the earth... wont answer the phone and wont call you back. I would advise dealers to stay away and customers to stay away from Cobra firearms.

Own a Cobra Denali .380 bought new in box. Did not run right from day one and then the magazine starting falling out. Takes MANY attempts to get through to customer service. Finally sent pistol in for repair and it was returned fixed in a timely manner. Ordered a new magazine through their NEW website. Ordered on 1 Dec 17 and as of the 12th have not gotten my order, no shipping confirmation, no tracking number, and no response to my e-mail. Placed two other orders from different vendors on the same day I ordered from Cobra and have received both those orders. Cobra provides low cost, poor quality weapons, and supports their customers with poor customer service.

As a licensed dealer i sent in a firearm for warranty work, 2 months later i still have not received the firearm back! The customer it was sold to is now up my ass to get it back for him or refund his money... The receptionist doesnt seem to care its taking this long and the multiple attempts to get in contact with her supervisor (bill) have gone unanswered!!!

Basically they stole my gun.Sent my Cobra Shadow Revolver back for repair last year. Followed up twice on it but then the trail went dead. No acknowledged email and no returned phone call after several attempts. Living in California I had no choice to report it to our local Sheriff as being lost or stolen (or Id be guilty of a crime). The Sheriff was not able to reach the company either. Id give them zero stars, but this application wont allow that.

I own 5 Cobra pistols... a .22 and 9mm derringer a .380 auto pistol, a Shadow revolver and a Titan 45/410 derringer. All have functioned properly over the years. I did need service on a barrel set of .380, 38 special and 32 h&r mag I purchased for the 9mm derringer. They did not close and lock properly in the frame. The barrels were dropped off at the factory (I live near Salt Lake City) and in 15 mins the barrels were properly fit to my frame. I am very satisfied with Cobras service and quality of firearms! Last winter the 9mm derringer started to misfire from the bottom barrel. I took it in for service today and they asked me to sit while a tech made any needed repairs. I was told to use a differing factory ammo since they recommend Federal products. Repairs were made, springs replaced and such, test fired and returned to me in about 40 mins. Cobra is a fantastic company with service after the sale! I will switch to Federal ammo and that is easy.

Customer service is unheard of with this company. Zero answered phone calls nor return messages regarding parts. Im worried I wont be getting my parts at all while looking at the reviews on here. My pistol jams, doesnt fire at all. Very cheap. Pot metal gunWouldnt recommend this company

Do not buy anything made by this company, I bought 1 of their pistols the same part came out of it twice. The last time it hit my glasses & chipped 1 of the lenses, this company is a 5 star failure. The pistol is useless !

Bought a FS 380, brand new. Failure to extract during every magazine. Heavier than carrying a brick, and probably less effective. Switched to federal target ammo, as recommended, and still, failure to extract every 8-10 rounds. Happily traded it for a Marlin model 25 .22 bolt action rifle and never looked back.Recently bought a CB9 9mm derringer for $90. Fingers crossed. Its already been shipped once because it wouldnt chamber a round. Has been repaired. Hopefully it works, or Ill be trading it for anything else.UpdateThe spring and ball bearing inside the CB9 derringer came apart. I never even fired this gun. That was just loading/ unloading. With every breach unlocking, it wears on the aluminum of not only the barrel itself, but the integrity of the ball and spring. In just a few days time, the spring got twisted and chewed up by the breach lever turning.Another Cobra that I happily traded to a pawn shop for credit towards another gun.Do yourself a favor. Thinking about buying a Cobra? Instead, throw your money out your car window on the way home. Atleast that way you wont have disappointment down the road. Just get it out of the way right now.Dont buy a Cobra. Ever. They are paperweights at best.

Unreliable and unsafe! CA380 pistol jammed at least once every magazine. Front ring on the slide broke off after about 300 rounds making it extremely unsafe to fire; next shot the slide would have flown off and hit me in the face. Good thing I saw it first. Poor design too, slide is too low. If you use a proper grip it will cut the webbing between your thumb and index finger. Customer service is the only good thing about this company. I took it back and they replaced it with 4 extra magazines and let me keep the originals. With the extra mags I was able to trade it for 22 rifle immediately (with fair warning given to the trader).

Firearms that are low-cost but not bad. Just be sure to clean your firearm as soon as you get it and after every use. Also keep in mind you need to put 100-200 rounds through it to break it in.

Bought a new 9mm cobra derrenger at a gun show (this is the new model with the trigger guard ) the gun would not chamber rounds unless you loosened the exstractor to work the rounds around it and then was so loose it would not exstract the spent rounds after firing and the top barrel would not fire i called cobra customer service and the cobra gun smith, and the company PR guy and non would send me a prepaid label to send it back and also they did not care about using my gun as a test case to improve there assembly as my gun was only 1 of 200 new updated derrengers off the line i repaired the gun my self but learned my lesson buying cobra fire arms

Horrible. waited two months for a small parts order. now three months later, 6 voicemails left, 2 emails, and a dozen calls to a full VM box, nobody has contacted me, refunded my order, or provided a tracking number. dont waste your time or money here.

This company is a farce. I sent my Weapon back for repair when it was new. That was in early June. I called on July 27 asking for an update. The Customer service said it was in shipping. Never happened. Called again in Sept. Customer service it will be on the way shortly. Two weeks have gone by. No gun. I doubt if I will ever see that weapon. Dont buy a Cobra Product.

I bought a Cobra 380 from a pawn shop new and the safety never worked properly on it. The safety wouldnt work with a bullet in the chamber. I brought it in to the factory in Salt Lake and they re-chambered it. It still didnt work. I brought it back and got the run around from one employee but another technician told me the safety only worked with American Eagle ammo and not with Remington. So he rechambered it again. It worked but the safety was sticky and the gun jammed even with several different people firing it. I brought it back to the factory for a third time. They gave me a new gun but guess what...the safety still doesnt work!

Me Father in law bought a 380 freedom series the thrid time it was fired, (saftety on and nothing touching the trigger mind you,) it was an accidental discharge. This happened while he was attempting to unload the gun. It completely jammed, and the bullet is still in it. The magazine will not come out.

If you want a semi auto pistol that jams every time, go for this one. Ive put a ton of rounds thru it and havent cleared a clip without a jam. Do not recommend for personal protection. Also, i bought it new,

I purchased a brand new cobra 9mm derringer with a lifetime warranty, the next day I took it out to shoot and it only fired 4 out of the 15 times I pulled the trigger, ive been trying to contact them for the past 3 weeks via phone and email, and what do you know! They still have yet to make any effort in helping me reslove the issue or even reply, im extremely mad and will never purchase anything from this so company again, somebody should do something about them ignoring their customers!!!

We are a dealer and have been trying to get a hold of the repair department to send a cobra380 back for a customer for repair but have been trying for 2 weeks and left multiple messages but have not got a response back. Horrible customer service!
