Traeger Grills are hands down fantastic!! The entire team at the company is approachable and kind. I got to spend some time at an event they put on, and meat lots of the people behind the scenes. All I can say is I was blown away. The amount if R&D that is down by Traeger to only be mimicked later by the competitors is astounding. I have never had a bad experience with their customer service and would recommend everyone to get a Traeger. They just came, they care about how much you love their product and the experience you have with it.

I purchased the Tailgater on 6/19/2021. This is my first smoker and it is fantastic. Easy assembly, easy maintenance. Brought it home and had it put together and started smoking within 45 minutes. The temperature held steady even with the smoker in full sun with the temperature around 100 degrees. I lined the grease tray with aluminum foil and lined the grease pale with foil also; Clean up is a snap. I have used this smoker everyday since the purchase and have had zero issues. I would suggest that Traeger use separate control button for the probe temperature, its a bit clumsy the way it is set up now.

Ridiculously overpriced and DOES NOT WORK!Sales process was tremendously cumbersome and time consumingShipments came piece-mail and took over a monthInstallation was tedious and too time consumingHorrible product. worked 5 times before it would not turn on.Support Phone number was out of service on 4 occasions.Support calls took hours for them to answer the call. They placed me on hold for hours. Phone call disconnected 3 times. Managers never returned phone calls. Outsourced call center barely understands English and when they do, they are unable to solve problems, or follow through with what they said.corporate emails go unanswered.

Your customer service rep was pleasant however I just bought a new just purchased a new timberline grill And found out that the sales promotion for the grill cover ended yesterday. I asked if she could do anything to help me since I didn’t see an expiration date I just saw a limited time offer it may have been there and I just didn’t notice it. Unfortunately she said There was nothing she could do. I feel the company should do something but that’s just my opinion I was a general manager for other companies and we always try to make the customer happy

I bought my Traeger Century from Costco before I bought my furniture for our new home in July of 2020.I loved the smoky wholesome flavor so much that I decided to upgrade from my Costco-bought smoker to the Ironwood 885 @ Home Depot within a month or so. Best decision I made since marrying my wife.Love the Traeger brand and the movement that they created being the pioneers in pellet grills and the best hands down in the market.

Tried to use gift card and it wouldnt work, upon retrying the card the balance was empty but no order was received. Have tried calling customer service and they are no help. they will say we will call you back! but then they dont. They will use the word escalate, they wont. the people are nice, but frankly they do nothing to solve your problem. Id rather have rude and solve the problem vs nice and no resolution. I am actually returning my traeger just because of this issue. Even better, this is from the BBB website as a LITERAL DISCLAIMER on their page: Consumers further allege upon contacting the customer service department, they are on “hold for hours”, and the consumer does not receive calls or emails back. Additionally, once they do get a hold of a customer service representative, the consumer is not assisted, but instead promised a call back, and does not receive one. This company is awful. Traeger grills have the potential to be GREAT. But they fall short when it comes to heat. The paint cant handle the heat. So, with that, Cant handle the heat, get out of my kitchen!

While the customer service staff are great, and their products may also be great, it doesnt look like i will ever find out. their website offers financing through a company called affirm. the shopping pages show special finance options, one being zero % for three months; DO NOT BELIEVE THAT. i completed the affirm short prequalification form and was immediately given a $5000 limit. This did not surprise me since my credit score hovers around 800 and I have a high income, low debt and no BKs. but as soon as I went to put items in my cart the only finance option from affirm was 25.31%. I called affirm and was given a line of BS by someone obviously not a financial wizard. I called Traeger back to share my fishy experience with them. I thought they would like to know how affirm treats their potential customers and this definitely seemed fishy or fraudulent to me. I did speak with a supervisor who tested my experience and agreed that the zero interest was offered and said he would look into it. I do not deal with companies that have a low expectation for ethical treatment of customers; Im not sure yet where Traeger fits into my ethics equation, but I am sure where affirm lands on that scale, below the bottom. This is not about the money, this is about ethics. I am now on a continued hunt for a good smoker.

When the Treager is working it is a great day!! Unfortunately those days are few and far between. We have had one problem after another. The temp won’t hold, “costumer service” (if you can call it that, seems to be a generous name for this company) is a long wait (never a good sign) and full of empty promises once you do speak to someone.We have had problem after problem. From the wifi to the heating element....It just makes us sick the amount of time and energy we have put into always trying to find a new part to fix this POS!!I expected more from the brand and it’s employees!! Extremely disappointed :(

As others have posted, the product is great, but the customer service is bad enough that I regret my decision to purchase it. They have not been able to find a way to refund money for a grill that was cancelled well before it shipped. I had gone and bought one from a dealer (service was good), and then was charged for the cancelled unit that was never delivered to me. I have spent 20+ hours on the phone explaining the situation over and over, and have almost never had any follow up. Each time I speak with someone, I am given a guarantee that they understand what the issue is, and they will get it fixed and contact me to verify.Please, if you decide to purchase one of their products, do not do it directly from their website. Do yourself a favor and purchase through another retailer. If you do happen to have a problem, prepare yourself for a long and drawn out process for something that should be a relatively easy fix.Update 8-24-20: I have confirmed that my refund is in limbo because Traeger has not received it. I still can’t get a call back from Traeger and will be filing a formal complaint against their license.Update 10-12-20: My complaint with the State is currently being reviewed. I still have not received a refund, and no person from Traeger has contacted me regarding this review. I am in plain site, and apparently they have no interest in negative experiences with their customer base.

Avoid at all costs. I purchased a grill in May used it maybe 4 times. Now the temp fluctuates by 100s of degrees. It is unusable. Called service 4 weeks ago. They were going to send a new part. Called last week they said the part would be shipped and I should have it by the 24th or 25. Still no part or no confirmation that it has shipped. What a fiasco. I have a useless grill and $1,500 down the drain. Their product support is terrible.Followup, Just talked to customer support. They did not sent the order for the warranty part to the warehouse to be shipped. What a three ring circus. Worst purchase ever!!!2 weeks have now gone by and still no resolution. I think i have been put on the do not service list at Traeger. Today when I called they could not even find my grill information or that I have called 4 times in the past month. At this point I just want my money back and i would be happy to return the grill and never speak the word Traeger again.

My brother has had two Traegers catch on fire due to auger issues. Poorly built and extremely dangerous smoker. If you enjoy safely smoking meats, buy literally any other smoker. This company willfully and knowingly puts their customers safety at risk by ignoring blatant manufacturing issues.

I will add my review to others. They get 1 star for a great product, but no more because their customer service is THAT BAD, and pretty much not worth purchasing a grill from them. I ran into problems while trying to purchase a grill, and they said they were passing my issue to the highest level, and I never heard back. Every time Ive called they make me go through the whole explanation again, and still havent resolved the issue. You think theyd want to take great care of their customers with the money that is spent with them.Were about ready to look for comparable product from a company that hopefully cares.

Ordered a Grill on 10/18/2020. Was immediately charged for an authorization for double the amount of the grill. Mind you this is the largest grill they make and double the amount that most people take home in a month... immediately called the call center. They explained that they did not see the amount was charged as double and could not explain. They stated that we would not be actually charged until the grill shipped and that my bank was holding my money. The call center rep was non caring saying that they didn’t have my money and my bank did... Either way because of an error processing by their merchant, my account was over drafted for 5 days... luckily I had money in my savings to cover this overdraw, but this money is intended for something else. This could have been easily fixed. Now 10/23/2020 the grill ships and they physically removed money for two grills from my account. We call into the call center and they have no record of this happening and I have to prove and show bank statements that it happened. They stated they opened an investigation and they would contact us within two day’s with information. We are now approaching a week with no call back or resolution... I unfortunately write this review with a heavy heart. We love traeger grills and a lot of the people in the community and the company, but we are not enjoying our experience with purchasing online and working with the call center. I advise to find a local location to work with and to purchase from to avoid these current issues. We would greatly appreciate our money back that was taken in excess, as the new month is approaching and have bills that need paid....

Love the product but super disappointed with the customer service. We purchased the best grill and it arrived very scratched on the lid in multiple places. I called customer service asking for a replacement part to the one that was scratched and was told that unless they can prove it keeps the grill from working properly they dont replace any damage... seems very unfair as I have a damaged grill without it ever being used. Its a great product but dont count on it getting to you in perfect condition.

Got Ranger Grill in June. Looked good and well made. Control of temperature had a 60 degree variance, so tried to contact Traeger. Customer Service in my opinion does not exist. Twice talk to a person that tried to help, but knew nothing about the grill or its issues. He was reading the same manual I got with the unit. I will not use products that have no technical support. Returned the grill and now looking at Green Mountain.

Set my tailgater up and did all the setup and smoke out. Just waiting for Christmas Eve to smoke something. Pictures to follow. 😀***update*** most up and down temperature swing of any smoker I have ever seen. You call in and they tell you I am turning it on wrong so I do what they say and still have issues call back in the next day and someone else’s tell me to do it a complete different way. No one know what they are doing and just tell you that your doing something wrong.

Ship date on our order has changed 3 times. We still dont have the smoker. Spent 3 hours trying to reach customer support, when we did reach them, they couldnt answer our questions. I feel like this company used to the best in the category but has gone downhill and is riding the coat tails of its past. We will look for another brand.

Our team is built on synergy, that synergy is fueled by food! Eating well and with ease is difficult when youre off the beaten path, but our new Traeger has filled that void.We historically have grilled 90% of our food, but not without incident. Its tricky to run a faced paced Adventure company while preparing meals and feeding the crew. Always jumping back and forth. Forgetting and burning, turning meats and great balls of fire. We have lost more than a few of those battles.Its awesome to grill now, such a no brainer, and we can check in on progress right from the phone.The guys at Traeger that set us up were awesome. We were treated like family and sent home with a bunch of goodies. The whole crew at Wasatch Excursions thanks yall from the bottoms of our heart. Hope to see yall on the mountain!

Dont even think about purchasing this grill. The paint peels off after a short time. I have had to replace multiple components several times over the years. I just purchased a new controller a little over a year and half ago. This is only the fourth one I have had to replace. And now I need another one. Their representavie said they do not warranty replacement parts. I asked So you mean I could purchase a new controller and a month later it can stop working and you wont warranty it? She said that is correct. This is the worst smoker/company in the world. From now on everytime I go into Costco and see their sales person trying to sell these lousy grills I am going to tell the shoppers to stay away. It is JUNK!

Consumers allege that when they order their grills, the grills either arrive damaged, or contains missing parts. Consumers also claim the business will not respond to their request of repair under the grill’s 3-year warranty.Consumers further allege upon contacting the customer service department, they are on “hold for hours”, and the consumer does not receive calls or emails back. Additionally, once they do get a hold of a customer service representative, the consumer is not assisted, but instead promised a call back, and does not receive one. I, unfortunately, purchased a Traeger Grill and it has never worked properly. Traeger has repeatedly not helped me. I have spent $700 for nothing. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A TRAEGER GRILL!!!!!

Lets start with the positives the grill is absolutely amazing. Does a fantastic job grilling and smoking. You couldnt get a better all around grill.Negative. The worst customer service solutions Ive ever experienced. The people were great and friendly to talk to but did not do what they say they would do.I ordered a grill. Waited4-5 days and didnt ship so I checked at a local ACE hardware and they had it. Prior to purchase at Ace I called to verify I could cancel the online order.yes no prob. So I buy the grill from Ace. Two days later I get a shipment notification. I call right then and was told it was a error and the grill did not ship and Im set to be refunded. A week goes by and the grill arrived. I called and explained they promised it was a mistake and would have it picked up. The pick up never happened. This happened a total of 4 times. The last call I finally had to tell them Im cancelling payment on my CC if it doesnt happen. Again it didnt happen but the day after I cancelled payment arrangements were made. Very unfortunate experience. Nothing was done to make this experience right. I would never order from their website. Again. Great product horrible experience in all.

I love this company and I love my Traeger. I made some BBQ for my family the other day and someone made the comment that I was becoming quite the BBQ expert. Someone else chimed in and jokingly said, “it’s not him, it’s the Traeger.” And I couldn’t argue. Our Timberline has made me the hero on multiple occasions. It takes out the guess work. I adjust the temp from my phone. The old days of having to babysit your smoker are long gone.I also have to say that the sales folks I’ve worked with at Traeger HQ have been so helpful and easy to work with. The product is high-end quality. I’ll be smoking low and slow for a long time. Go get yourself one. You (and your friends and family) will be glad you did.

I cant believe they are in business. Their customer service is WORSE than the Chinese company I order knockoff Legos from. 1-2 hour wait? I call right at 10am... standard recording says 1-2 hours. Good luck getting a call back.I ordered my grill on the 5th of May. Plenty of time to get it here before Memorial Day.... 2 weeks later and all I have is a bottle of grill cleaner.Thanks for nothing Traeger.5/23/2020 update... still nothing. I now have one bag of pellets and a bottle of cleaner to clean my absentee grill.

Original unit never worked properly ie. not getting hot enough or flaming out. Traeger sent various replacement parts (warranty so FREE including shipping costs) which were easy to install, but never solved my woes. Finally, they sent me an entire new unit (minus the legs and actual grill body). Fired it up and it now works perfectly! Note: DO NOT setup WIFi! Software updates are what screwed it up! If it aint broke, dont fix it!Awesome customer service Traeger! Thanks SO much for the best BBQ meals imaginable!!! You guys ROCK!

I have the same story as a lot of these reviews. I love the device, I love cooking in it. However, whenever there is any kind of issue, the customer service is absolutely rancid. Their email support is considerably worse than the phone support. On the phone, at least, they seem to care and try to give you thoughtful answers - if youre reading this because youre considering buying one here is the breakdown.1. I love my grill but Traeger customer service is beyond horrendous. Last week I talked to customer service, which feels like an overseas call center. They tried to video chat with me to get a replacement part under warranty. It did not work and they said sometimes it doesnt work. Mind you, this is all after being on hold for 1.5 hours. I had to sit on hold two seperate times while the call taker had to speak with their supervisor to get approval. I then tried calling back multiple times. When the call was picked up, it was disconnected. They make an awesome product but their lack of customer service will be the demise of their company. I would recommend calling customer service and trying to seek customer support prior to buying the product. Dont buy if you have a bad experience. I wish I would have known how frustrated I would be.

My WiFire stopped working after an update in December. It took about 4 months of calling in before the issue was resolved. Other than that I love the grill and would give them 5 stars but the customer service is terrible at best.

Today I called Traeger customer service, I was left on perma hold. I hung up and called back, frustrated from being on hold for 30min. I reach a different agent SHENIQUA M.. She was amazing she apologized for the last agent and settled my frustration and helped me with my issue. I give her a 110%.

I love my Traeger Grill. I never have any issues with it. Customer Service has always taken great care of me if I have questions. They also answer very quickly. I know that wasnt always the case but not anymore. Since getting my Traeger, 4 of my friends have since purchased one and they love it. The store is an awesome place, theyll take care of you and all your Traeger needs. Lots of accessories and grills.

First, the Traeger works great, when its working. When its not, youre out of business. Ive owned this grill for probably 10 years. It came with a 3 speed controller with smoke, medium and high settings. 3 years ago I got a digital control for Christmas . I liked this a lot better than the 3 settings controller. Now, they tell me I need to replace the 3 year old controller. Another $100. Im also on my 4th hot rod. Hot rod life is 1-3 years. Its now time to move on to another smoker. Because of the short life of the hot rod and lack of support for the controller and additional costs I wont be buying another Traeger. Id rather be smoking on a grill than wrenching on one.

I purchased a Traeger Grill last June and starting in December I started to experience problems with the heating element and the grill component would not heat up past 200 degrees. I called Traeger and they immediately sent me a replacement part. Unfortunately, this was not the correct part to fix my grill. I called again (after another 20-minute wait on hold) and they told me to to do a closed lid start. Nope. That didnt fix the problem. I have emailed over 10 times and get the runaround after waiting over a week for each response. They tell me to take it to an authorized dealer, I tried but the dealer informs me they need a work order. I call to get a work order, the representative has no idea what I am talking about. I call back and then they email me a blank form without filling out the work order. I instruct them how to fill out their own work order (what on earth?). Now its May, my warranty expires in June and no relief in site. I am actually sitting on a 30 min hold as I type. After I was informed that the dealer I need to contact has 1 repair person that comes on site 1x per week and he generally does not show for appointments. WOW. This has been exhausting and expensive investment only to find out they do not stand behind their product or customer service. DONT BUT THIS PRODUCT!!!

Had a Traeger for about 6 months and returning it to Home Depot today. Theyre starting to sell customer info/data to raise revenue, a despicable practice.On top of that, the WiFire hasnt worked in weeks which was a main determining factor in choosing the 780.I have a pretty broad reach to about 20,000 people in 3 of Houstons most wealthy zip codes. I plan on using it to encourage people to shop Traegers competition instead.

I like the food that comes off my grill.But the wifire has never worked on my grill.Ive been in contact with the Traeger customer support team regarding this problem multiple times, they cant or wont help me.If you are looking for a smart grill, with remote control, buy a different grill.If you are having trouble with your grill, dont bother with the Traeger support team. If they cant solve your problem via their support checklist, they will just keep asking the same questions over and over and over and will never help you to a solution. Complete waste of time.

First, I love my Traeger grill. I have used it every weekend since I got it March 14, 2020. It has made cooking outside a lot of fun. The phone app and grill integration is really useful.So here is the reason for 3 stars:I have an issue with paint peeling off the back of the grill. The grill remains under a carport away from weather and has a Traeger cover on it when not in use. I am concerned why this would happen just over a month after purchase. I called Customer Service looking for help.Their Customer service has room for improvement. When you call it goes to some mystery call center. It took 45 minutes to get a representative on the phone.The representative I worked with was pleasant but had very little knowledge of the grills. I sent a picture and the Rep was going to send me the wrong part. When we finally agreed what part of the grill has the paint peeling she told me she has to call Trager for approval on replacing the part. I was told I was to be placed on hold. After an hour on hold I assumed the Representative forgot me and I hung up. I immediately called back and found out the wait to get a representative on the phone would be between 1 and 2 hours.At this point I am not sure where I am with my concern and I am stuck in limbo. I can not find any other number to get in contact with Trager.Again, I love the grill and would highly recommend it, I just hope you dont need service because Trager Customer service has a lot of room to improve.

Bought a Timberline grill online. They gave me a Fedex number saying it was shipped, but Fedex claims they never received the grill for shipment. Cant get a hold of anybody that can give me any answers and calling customer services is only the second biggest joke. The first being that they didnt ship the grill and screwed me out of $2000 that I am now having to dispute and wait 30 days for a resolution.

Traeger? Never again. I was a loyal Traeger user until my Century 22 broke down. It quit running midway through the cook, ruining my Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve dinners. So far Ive spent HOURS on the phone with Traegers customer service people. They sent parts to fix it myself, but when that didnt work, theyve given me the runaround on getting it fixed or replaced. Im well within the warranty. I wont do business with a company that wont back up its product.

Have called customer 3 times each time wait was 2 plus hours. They say they will call you back so you dont have to wait on hold. Have tried this 3 times, no call back. The issue I have is a bad probe. It never worked from out of the box. Since I cant get a hold of anyone this going back to the store and I will get a different brand.

Our Traeger control panel went out after only 2 years of owning the device. When contacting their customer service they give me the runaround. Were close to hitting our three year warranty mark and it seems like they are just pushing it out so that they can charge us for the parts. If I spend this much on a machine and they offer a warranty I expect them to uphold their warranty and replace parts that have issues. After buying a few as gifts I will never purchase another traeger product. Severely disappointed.

I sold Treager product for three years. I have a manufacturing degree. This is the cheapest product made. Concept is/was great but execution poor. The cut corners on manufacturing product and lost their credibility in the industry. Poor customer service on solving issues. When you make a mistake, own it. Might hurt, but people will respect you for it. Overpriced. Too many other competitors will grow because of their shortcomings. Simple rule in business. Take care of customer (not marketing BS) and you will grow.

This company deserves 0 stars. I received a Traeger grill over the holidays. The grill arrived OBLITERATED during shipping. The box looked like it had fallen off the truck and multiple items were damaged in the box. I called Traeger customer service sat on hold for 20 mins before someone jumped on the phone. I explained that the package I received was severely damaged and I would like to return this grill back and have a new one sent out because I dont trust that this grill will work with the level of damage it received during shipment. The rep told me that I need to open the box and send pictures of the damage then a new grill would be sent.Sent the email in with pictures and it took them 7 days to reply. The reply was an auto-generated email basically telling me that my order had been placed and would be delivered in 7-10 business days. When my packages arrived, it was literally replacement parts of the pictures I had sent in to show the damage. They clearly didnt care to read my email. I call back to the joke of a customer service team and ask to speak with a manger to handle this and the reply I get is that they need to submit an escalation request and that someone will contact me in 3 business days (!!!!)This has been the biggest joke of an experience for me. Im a brand new customer who bought an item from this company which was delivered BROKEN and their auto response is to send me replacement parts instead of doing the right thing and replacing the entire grill. I bought this to cook with, not as a model fix-it project to spend time dissecting what should be a fully functioning, BRAND NEW GRILL! Unbelievable. Ill be asking for a full refund and telling everyone I know to stay away from this scam of a company.

Bought a traeger timberline 850 in August. On my second time firing up the grill, it caught fire with 18 inch flames. After fighting a dozen customer service reps for 2 weeks straight (they are clearly trained to find any possible way to put the blame for a malfunction on you - but it was clear I followed all of Traeger’s instructions on setup/operation), they sent me a new grill.My replacement grill just caught fire 2 weeks ago. I am unable to even get a response from them now. Im low key I’m excited that this has given me a good excuse to buy a different brand of smoker though.

I bought my Traeger Grill a couple weeks ago and I still cant even put it together. It came with some damaged parts, missing parts, and other parts that where wrong all together and I;m only on step 2 of the setup. I called Customer Service and was told that they would check on the part availability and call me back. A day later after no call back I called them. The customer service reps were very nice but after waiting for a week for replacement parts they sent me the wrong parts. I couldnt believe it. They have the model and serial number of my grill but they still cant send me the right parts. I was also missing bolts from my hardware kit but those are all on back order. I havent even got past step 2 of the setup and Ive had my grill for a couple weeks. So I call them again and now I get to wait another week for the right parts (I hope). Its been a horrible experience. If this order doesnt go right Im taking the whole thing back to Costco and finding a different brand.

HORRIBLE customer service.Non-existent customer service. LOUSY. TERRIBLE. BAD.Had a new Traeger grill with lots of problems, which can happen with anything. It seemed like a lemon with one problem after another. Everything could have been fine if Traeger had a customer service department that did something to solve the issues.The customer service was like a lot of lip service, but no one ever followed up on any of the numerous troubles with the grill, even though I was told I would receive communication from Traeger. The process drug on and on, even after I called multiple times for help. Eventually, I contacted the store manager where the grill was purchased, and the manager helped with a grill replacement. Traeger DID NOTHING TO HELP. Instead, the store manager had to handle the entire situation. Did I mention that TRAEGER CUSTOMER SERVICE SEEMED HORRIBLE? TERRIBLE? LIKE NO ONE AT TRAGER CARED?

My grill gave out finally after 2 years on the morning of my fantasy football draft. I had 2 pork butts, 3 racks of ribs, and some burgers so I was really sad. The reason I give the 5 stars was even though it was a weird time, I was able to immediately get a hold of a local Traeger CS rep who sent me UPS 3 replacement parts at no charge. The replacement parts were very easy to install and I was up and running again. I really love my traeger, and appreciate the service.

Have been having issues for years. Cannot get resolution and the only number associated with this is multiple call centers that are not Traeger owned or operated. Therefore they do not care about my issues. I basically have a $1000 boat anchor and no one to help me with it.

Just thought I would share my experience with Traeger. I have has my grill for about a 1 year and it has never reach a temperature above 380. I called Traeger customer service and was told that it needed a induction fan. The CSR sent me the fan which I had to install on a grill that is under warranty. That would have been fine if that would have fixed the issue. Had to call a second and third time trying to get the grill fixed. One CSR said that these grills are very temperamental and you have to leave the lid open longer than the instructions say and this will help you get the temperature. He said if that don’t work it’s probably the temperature control module.Unfortunately that didn’t work so I called again back to the call center to try to get satisfaction and was supposed to get a control module sent to me that never showed up . After another call this was just aggravating. I can clearly here this is a call center so I tried to call Traeger direct to see if I could get some help. Called Traeger and no one would answer the phone . This sure seems like a lot of hoops to get an $700.00 grill fixed that’s clearly under warranty.

I highly recommend a Traeger to anyone. I have never considered myself to be a BBQer and thought this would be something my husband would primarily use, but since getting it I have started using it more and more. Ive done mac n cheese, loaded potatoes, pizza, and have even done some desserts.. it all works on a Traeger and tastes SO GOOD.

I bought a Traeger a week ago, as most people Ive talked to love them. When unpacking, I found a piece broken. Called into their support line and was redirected for about an hour. Called the following day, and someone confirmed they had the part and that it would be shipped to be the following day (also promised that Id receive an email confirmation before end of day). Two days later, I called again and the order was never placed. After another 30 minutes of just being told there was nothing he could do, I spoke to a supervisor. She basically said that youre out of luck as they dont even have the part in any of their warehouses. So they cant ship me anything. So after spending over $1k on one of their higher end models and 2 hours on the phone, Im left with no estimated timeline for when they will even get the needed part, a broken Traeger and a much lighter wallet.I want to say that Traeger was great to work with (as that is what I expected from their brand), but so far their customer support has been super nice about telling me that nobody in their company can do anything to fix their product or the issue.

I purchased a Traeger grill and from the moment I got it I had problems. I have managed to get it working once and have constant problems,since then. This was a very expensive boat anchor that it completely useless.Can not recommend, save your money. When I called customer support I was put on hold for more than 30 minutes and no one answered.Horrible experience all around

I ordered my 22 Pro Series Grill at the end of June. Delivery was quick - less than a week until it was on my doorstep. UNFORTUNATELY it was damaged in shipping (I have video of the shippers poorly handling the package as they left it on the doorstep). Ultimately, it was damaged in shipping. When I contacted Traeger, they told me to email photos of the damage, which I did. After weeks of argument (and requesting they take the grill back and send a new grill that isnt damaged), they finally sent a replacement part THAT WASNT EVEN THE CORRECT PART. They said they would send a repair man to fix the broken grill, AND THEY NEVER DID. I was told three weeks ago I would get a call from a supervisor to resolve the situation (after over three weeks of prior emails). I am still waiting for that call (even though I have emailed several times to request it). Two months later, and all I have to show for my near 1k purchase is a broken grill and wasted time. THEY NEVER FIXED IT. IT IS STILL BROKEN. DO NOT BUY A TRAEGER GRILL. Save yourself the trouble and get something else instead. Anything that costs 1k should be right, and if its not, it should be made right. For all we know, they filed a claim against the shippers with our info and got double paid with our money and their insurance money! I am in the process of filing a claim with Utah Consumer Protection *hoping* they will make the situation right because Traeger has shown me over and over again they will not. The only reason they get 1 star in this review is because I cant give them negative 10. Trust me... Do not waste your money like I did. Get something else. I wish I did.

The software for the Timberline WiFire model is terrible. I like my grill but the main reason I paid $1600 is so I could control the grill remotely through WiFi. It only works half the time and each time I call customer support they do not have a clue on how to fix problems. They just use the same script and say you have to unplug your grill to try and reset the software - like you are going to stop smoking your meal to do a hard reset - how ridiculous. Then they say to re-install your app which erases all the saved recipes. Dont waste you $$ on a Traeger grill until they can hire a real software team that can create an app that works.

Bought my first traeger over a decade ago and it was excellent. In fact it was my favorite grill and I raved about it. Bought a pro575 and it is just awful. What happened to this company?The grill is beautiful and much thought went into it. But the quality control is nonexistent and the customer service is way below what one would expect.My traeger didn’t heat properly being almost 100 degrees off and not heating over 350 degrees. Customer service insisted my oven thermometer must be wrong or I was using a bad recipe!Finally a supervisor said they were “having reports of this problem but don’t have a fix yet” and they’ll let me know when they know what to do when they figure it out. (This is after almost two hours on the phone).It’s obvious either the thermostat or controller is malfunctioning and this is common now in Traegers-read the complaints. I suspect cheap offshore parts with no quality control or testing. Too bad they have done this and are not even providing proper support either. I got a full refund from the retailer (not from Traeger).Look at all the negative reviews about what was once a standard in the industry. I will never buy anything from them again even with their slick marketing.I don’t know how this company’s management keeps their jobs.

The grill was fine; however I hope Traeger straightens out their return policy! We purchased TWO Traegers at a fair on 9/10/14 - one for our son. We realize my son wont use it and want to return it. Apparently just last week, they changed their return policy (wasnt THAT convenient?) and now want to void the agreement we had with them for free 30 day return policy. Interesting, isnt it? And to think I was excited to be a part of this family....Will they step up to the plate and honor the agreement or not? I waited to see and got no reply. $75.00 to return my sons - we had to pay $225.00 to return ours. Were done. I cant believe they would pull this on their customers. I hope that those of you with Traegers dont have problems because you can count on getting no help from their Customer Service.

Overall a good product. Although, Ive need to order different parts because the part did not fit out of the box. The first time I had to do it 3 times before I finally asked for a refund. The second time, after two hours of trying to make it fit for the factory. I finally put the original piece back on and I am just dealing with it. Not happy about it, but dealing with it. Im afraid what they would send me next.

At the moment, I am not a big fan of Traeger Grills order fulfillment and customer service departments. Your grills may be wonderful, but I have not yet been able to try mine as I STILL have not received the product I purchased over 5 weeks ago. I purchased the Select Elite Grill through a Costo promotion and was told that I would have my grill within 1 week... after waiting 2 weeks, I contacted customer service, and was told there had been a problem with the way my order was processed... I was assured the grill was on its way and for my trouble, was sent an extra grill rack. Well, the extra rack arrived two weeks ago and still no grill. Today I called again, very frustrated at this point and was told that there was an issue with my address... then how did I get the grill rack and if there was a problem, why did nobody contact me?? I spent $1,000 on this product and cant believe that I cant even get it delivered. Today I was told that my grill still has not shipped and when I tried to escalate through customer service to a manager was put on hold while the customer service agent was looking to see what she could do. After 40 minutes, I gave up and tried to call the corporate headquarters in Salt Lake City to talk to someone in charge. Unfortunately, I could never get a live person and went round and round with recorded messages prompting me to just leave a message. I am very fed up and greatly disappointed! If this is the kind of service I have to look forward to (that is if I ever do receive my grill) then I am very worried!!!

This company is sad and I sont see it lasting for years to come. There are true barbecuers out there that bust their hump, and the owner, Jeremy Andrus is always pimping out his wives Instagram account, and she inserts herself at every event (annoying). Someone asked her a real question about stick and burner grills, the hardworking that goes into it, and she replied, I saw one of those shows once, got bored, and its a bunch of old men just sitting around waiting for their BBQ. I mean, do you really like the taste of propane? Just some food for thought. I mean, its all wood, hard work and still, and she just disrespects the many people that have made this business. Sure, you can plug in a Traeger, its an outdoor oven essentially, but its not anywhere near authentic BBQ and people are just interested in their WEALTH THAT THEY FLAUNT, all while leaving their children with nannies, and having her complain about being a mother. Also, a group asked if Traeger would help a child thats in true BBQ competitions via email, called, and they told them to pound the sand. Others have reached out and they get nothing but rude comments. Then, you see Jeremy and Kristin dancing at a lavish party is Rachel from Rags to Raches that has only given proceeds once for autism, she doesnt do philanthropy, special needs parents BEG her for outfits, and she mails large packages to big influencers. This is all over the BBQ forums and in an article I read that Jeremy Andrus wrote for Harvard Business, he said that the people that BBQ are loyal on forums, and that is what makes the business flourish. Well, check out the forums and see how much Traeger is becoming the thing of the past, the customer service is rude, and people are opting for more humble companies, like, Camp Chef. Its refreshing to see good products and them out there not just baking cookies at random locations, but making real BBQ for our servicemen, hospitals, people in need, etc. SHAME ON THIS COMPANY and maybe they will make another one, have tons of Influencers show up, and we can all watch Kristin Andrus dance around awkwardly, flaunt an expensive outfit that she calls relative all while preaching they are humble humans, and then treat customers like garbage. Yeah, I am going to put mine away and hope that we all run into the kiddo that wanted one for Christmas while Kristin was taking money from people to get gift cards for people of HER CHOICE for Christmas. You cannot take the wealth with you, they need some humble pie, learn real BBQ, not disrespect people that actually put in the hard work, and dont just plug in a Traeger and add pellets. So, BUYER BEWARE! Its the Apple of pellet smokers, but Yoder and Camp Chef are the latest and greatest android phones. Dont buy the name and keep supporting this families gluttonist lifestyle.

This has to be the worst smoker in history. I recieved this as a gift. The 499.00 model. First day there was an electrical fire with the probe. Brought back they gave me a whole new smoker. THE replacement smoker didnt last 3 hours. I have never scene this in my life but the door blew open on smoker with a load boom. Again temperature proble and box burned up. Now I sit here with over $1000.00 in smokers and neither one works. Just horrible. 4th of July party was ruined

Ordered a replacement part for on a Tuesday morning. The part was in my state about 100 miles from me. The customer service rep told me it would arrive in time for my event on Saturday. No part. My part is now scheduled to arrive on Friday, 10 days after it was ordered. My conclusion Traeger Grill Time and Service Time= Slow

Called ahead and they said they had the Traeger fire pit in stock... well, after driving 30 minutes you didn’t. Arrived and was told we haven’t had any for over a month... That’s ridiculous! So annoying. Get on the same page. Also staff not very friendly. Went upstairs to ask when open and front desk lady was very short, didn’t care about what I was asking etc. Bad manners.

This is not a review of the product because I bought the grill knowing already how good they are but the ordering process has been absolutely TERRIBLE. I originally ordered my grill (the select pro) from my local costco when they were in store to have it shipped to my house. 2 weeks later they come to deliver the wrong grill. I was patient, even though my wife and I canceled a party that we had planned for that weekend in preparation for the grill, and sent in a picture of my invoice and they agreed that they had sent me the wrong grill. They assured me that the correct one (or a more upgraded model would be sent with the cover the next week. That which leads us up to today that we get two packages on the porch from Traeger but neither of which are the grill?! Ridiculous. Traeger you sure know how to make grills but what a mess.

Im not sure why anyone would by a Traeger grill, a propane grill literally does everything it does except a propane grill is much cheaper. I guess if you have more money than sense, itll be a good product for you to show off...
